Negative experience: Would not recommend, you may never see the same doctor twice with a procedure. The difference between the technicians and the skill level is huge. The initial exam was great the tech and doctor thorough and communicative......, but my first appt. that included a procedure was poorly done by the assistant who made a temporary crown and dropped it on the floor before placing it in my mouth. She was not supervised and I spent 2 wks with problems and discomfort before returning for a different temporary crown. This second tech was much better. The third tech was excellent as was the doctor who put the final crown on. However, you take your chances here. Was not a pain free experience by any means. I had to have the tooth reworked with a root canal after having problems for a year. Very expensive work with less then up to date equipment. No same day crowns., they refer you if you need a root canal. Will be shopping elsewhere for my dental care. Check heathgrade reviews not just Google.

Fantastic experience: We have been going to Johnny Fisher for our dental care needs for about 2 years. They have a clean and welcoming waiting area with water, tea, and a children’s activity area. They also give it a personal feel with digital introductions on their TV introducing their staff. The front desk staff, assistants, dentists, and hygienists are welcoming and knowledgeable. I typically see Monte; he is perceptive and adjusts to the needs of each patient. Additionally he cleaned my glasses after my dental cleaning before returning them. It’s also nice to have warm face towels with seasonal scents at the end of each visit. It turns dental visits into the spa treatment.

Positive experience: *edited Dec 2025* Nice folks, but insurance and billing could use some work. Mystery undisclosed bills. Also billed both of my cleanings within 6 weeks of each other…due to a service that I already paid extra for that they insisted I needed? Make it make sense!

Dr. Ochoa is an incredible dentist who was so thorough and knowledgeable on my first exam. The dental team is consistently friendly and talented, delivering excellent care. I have never been so relaxed and comfortable during dental procedures thanks to the Jonny Fisher team. Monte is an exceptionally gifted hygienist who impresses me a little more each time I spend time in his care. During my most recent visit, Sarah was exceptionally caring and proactive. She was highly responsive to anything I needed. I would give the Jonny Fisher team 6 stars if I could.

Fantastic experience: We had an emergency… got us in same day. Problem was fixed (floss caught) between molars. Floss was stubborn, resisted plan A,B,C. But they persisted and successful.

Fantastic experience: I have had two procedures done in Dr. Fisher's office - a root canal and a crown. I am very pleased with the work done in Dr. Fisher's office. Dr. Fisher is very easy to talk to and will answer any questions in detail about the procedures being performed. The employees are also friendly and knowledgeable and will go out of their way to help you, and like Dr. Fisher, will gladly answer any and all questions. I highly recommend Dr. Fisher, and his employees. Going to the dentist's office is not my idea of a fun way to spend an hour or two, but the people is this office can make you smile, and help you realize the procedures being done are worth it!

Fantastic experience: There is quietly brilliant coordinated care with Dr Fisher’s teams. Even a routine cleaning is a special experience at the best dental practice I have ever experienced. In a routine cleaning I had two fine new dentists think through the best way to deal with my sensitivity at two different points with back teeth. Dr. Rebecca Ochoa suggested a treatment I approved but she wanted a second opinion and her more experienced colleague Dr Brady Ellis did a superb job of explaining to me the two choices. Hygienist Assistant Sher did efficient and careful cleaning and instructive humor while Hygienist Amber did superb cleaning and explaining the mysteries of flossing correctly. A great team and a fun team: healed my gums and teeth while making me laugh!

Fantastic experience: Alayna is real gentle but not just careful and thorough. She is also a perfectionist who wants complete cleanness, just like me. I used to be seriously afraid of dental visits, Dr Fisher's team and especially Alayna have created the opposite expectation now: I look forward to dental visits for serious dental cleaning and charming human communicating with somehow a delightful humor always manifesting. Alayna is a great listener. She is the best.

I wrote a glowing review after my first visit and my high opinion of the facility, the staff, and their expert care for my teeth has not diminished. The waiting area is welcoming, offers hot drinks and has a child area. I love having a team which I see visit after visit. Tiffany, Monty and Dr. Ellis communicate well with me and with each other. If I share a concern with Tiffany, Monty and Dr. Ellis will each address it. They are all focused on what I need from them. Their equipment and techniques are the latest and greatest. I am amazed at how pleasant and painless a routine semi-annual exam is, as well as the root canals I've needed. They've never tried to upsell me any equipment or procedures. I trust them completely. The hygienist, Angel, is also wonderful, gentle, and thorough. Overall, this is a five-star dental clinic. Highly recommend!

Negative experience: Nice office and friendly staff, but I don't trust they are doing what's best for the patient. Instead they seem to be motivated by profit. The work I have had done has been poor quality, causing more issues and requiring follow ups that they wouldn't pay for even though the dentist admitted it was their mistake - on two different occasions, and they are always pushing more expensive unnecessary treatments and trying to pass them off as medically necessary. Would not trust their work or medical advice.

And, when our insurance paid more than I had expected, they immediately communicated with us about this and we were promptly refunded. Fantastic experience: I’ve been going to Dr. Fisher’s office for about 5 years now, and it has always been a wonderful experience. The doctors, dental hygienists, and staff are all fantastic, professional, kind, and caring. Dr. Monte is outstanding with cleanings. He is gentle, thorough, and takes his time to make sure everything is perfect. He always makes me feel comfortable with the cleaning process and leaves my teeth feeling truly fresh and clean. Dr. Fisher is excellent with dental procedures. I have been visited by him for wisdom teeth extraction and he made the process very smooth and comfortable. His skill and care gave me complete confidence throughout. I couldn’t ask for a better dental team, highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: Dr. Cashmore is great! She did all the work needed very quickly and basically painless, Monte helped with a cleaning and anesthesia and I didn't feel a thing! Fantastic experience: I have had another good experience at this dentist. I am not fond of the dentist as a general rule but all of my visit here have been positive. They took me on as a patient needing a root canal to fix a different dentists filling gone bad. I was in a lot of pain and they handled it professionally and compassionate. They have been my dentist since. I am in the process of moving I can only hope I find a practice as good. I have had a variety of personnel over all of my appointments they have all been very friendly and pleasant to work with. I will say Monte has been a constant across the majority if not all of my cleaning. He is great at what he does, and good at creating ease in patients. It definitely made a difference for me that all the staff make the process smooth, efficient, and well communicated. I would highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: This is a true world class facility with amazing doctors and superstar hygienists with modern equipment, spiffy exam areas and warm and friendly staff. I have been a patient there for 10 yrs now and had moved here from DC. This dentist office would compete with the best in the major metro area of Washington DC. Dr. Fisher is thorough and a top expert even in the most complicated procedures. He personalizes his interactions with patients and makes you feel like you will be taken care off. And you are !!! My current hygienist, Amber, she is simply a “wow”- gentle, thorough, pleasant and efficient. She deserves 10 stars. By the way, my other hygiene’s there, Angel, is in the same super class. Fantastic experience: Kymberley at the Front Desk who helped me schedule, Dental assistant Gabbie who brought me back, Dental assistant Kelly who held my hand while I was getting numbed, Hygienist Monty who deep cleaned my teeth and Dr. Harrington who filled all my cavities were all exceptionally kind and professional. Everyone I interacted with seemed happy to take the time to explain the nuance of anything I was curious/worried about. The work I had done was fairly extensive (I was extremely nervous) and it looks and feels so much better now ◡̈

Negative experience: Their dentists and dental assistants are great. Their billing and front staff can be so terrible that they've lost my business for good. They don't seem to care about building long term relationships with clients at all, guess it's because it's a college town.

Negative experience: We've gone to this dentistry for a couple of years and it's newest policies are not good. Great times to hear your children screaming in pain from the waiting room and then next visit be told you can't go back with your kids (new policy; previously could go back with my young children). Robinson and Harrington are great but the new policies and how the business treats concerned parents over their children screaming in pain does make me want to go somewhere else. I guess this works as great motivation for ensuring kids brush their teeth. "If you don't brush and floss, then you'll have to go to Jonny Fisher dentistry." I was told by the dental hygenist that if we don't let our young minor children go back without us, then we can go find another dentist. Also fun times butting heads with dentistry employees. I guess we'll go find another dentist for our kids Thanks for the suggestion, I guess?

Negative experience: Inhumane and unreasonable treatment of patients. I’ve spent over $1000 on dental care here in the last 4 months, yet they had the audacity to charge me $40 this morning because I have THE FLU (throwing up, fever at 103) and couldn’t make it in. The receptionist, Cher (sp?), laughed at me when I told her that wasn’t fair. Update: Found a way around paying their “rescheduling fee” - call another dentist! There are plenty in town and all better than this place.

Fantastic experience: What an excellent experience. I’ve been terrified of dental offices since I was very young, so it is very hard to get me into an appointment. Dr. Ellis performed a root canal on a broken tooth with absolutely no judgement, he was kind and very communicative. His assistant, Sher, was very helpful and patient as well. Fantastic experience: I had a dental emergency last evening, discovered my primary dentist's office was on vacation. I called Jonny Fisher's office the next morning when the office opened (today at 0730), they made an appointment for me 3 hours later for 1030. Miraculously, by hour 4 (1145), my tooth was fully repaired! Incredible service, flexibility and teamwork! Deepest heartfelt thanks to Dr Warren Robison and Rylee for restoring my smile! Highly recommended if you are seeking dental care.

Fantastic experience: Dr Fisher's team fit my grandson in on an emergency same day appointment. He had been in so much pain with an absessed wisdom tooth and was able to extract it the same day. We had been to the ER for antibiotics a few days prior but it didn't seem any better 4 days later so we were so grateful that Dr Fisher's secretary was able to get us in. Everyone is so kind and helpful there. My grandson was very nervous but they helped him feel more at peace. I am so thankful for that amazing team.

Negative experience: I went In to get a hole fixed in my tooth and they refuse to fix the hole. They want to charge me $1000 for a full cleaning. Now I need a full root done. My husband ended up with bone disease that should have been caught years ago but johnny fishers office never mentioned it. One time they also told my friend she had 11 cavities. Her mom was a dental hygienists for 20 years. She got a second opinion an only had 2 cavities just starting. Idk what johnny fishers is playing at but they seem like one of those offices who allegedly scam people.

Fantastic experience: I had an old crown fall off Christmas night. They were the first place I saw opened on the 26th so I called shortly after they opened. I wasn't an established patient with them but they got me that same morning (today). Not only did they get my crown back on, they also took extra steps in making sure the tooth still looked good and that the crown would adhere better. I have a ton of anxiety around dental work, and I feel like they could have easily just re-cemented the crown on and sent me on my way, but I so appreciated the professionalism and care I received today. On top of that the environment is very welcoming and aesthetically pleasing. I loved the personality in the room (lotr decor on the ceiling)! I decided to set up a new patient appointment and will be going here from now on.

Fantastic experience: I've had the same dentist for 28 years and have never received the same type of professional care that I recently received under the care of Dr Sykes and his team. During my initial evaluation I was given detailed information as to what was being done and why it was being done. When the dentist was called in, he also explained in detail the condition of my teeth. He went over all my possible treatment options and provided the best course of action to take for optimal oral health as well as considering my budget. Dr. Sykes and his team were friendly, timely and very efficient. I was extremely impressed with the experience I had at Jonny Fisher DDS; from the welcoming reception to the check-out and rescheduling of the next appointment.

Fantastic experience: I've never been excited for a teeth cleaning before coming here! Everyone is super friendly and the establishment is lovely. Monte does a great job and always has some nice conversation, and Tiffany was amazing too!

Fantastic experience: The DA was very welcoming and pleasant, however needed to take a second bite wing because her technique was off on the first one; the dentist asked to do it again. Two things: hope I don't get charged for two x-rays, second, being irradiated unnecessarily is not quality and safe health care. This does NOT by any means define Dr Fisher and his practice. Rather, this is purely a “training” issue. My family have been going to Dr Fisher for 5 yrs now and no plans on switching. The Dentist was excellent and grateful for allowing me to make the decision on what to do with my tooth. In and out in 1 hour!!! Just the best practice in town.

Because of Dr. Fisher's expertise and efficient competence in fixing every concern, I left the appointment feeling grateful and exhilirated!

Fantastic experience: Dr.Ellis patient care and skills are phenomenal. I had an extraction with little to no pain. I know one’s pain tolerance differs, but it also depends on the treating provider. I highly recommend Dr. Ellis.

I cannot stress enough how professional the staff was and how painless the appointment went. The work done here is definitely better. Thank you Dr. Harrington, Monte, Shandi. Fantastic experience: I have had a phenomenal experience with Jonny Fisher’s office! My hygienist, Monte, has helped make it the most welcoming and nonjudgmental space. Before going, I hadn’t been to the dentist in over 9 years. Monte was patient and understanding, making sure to explain everything he did and answer my questions. He took away any anxiety I had about going to the dentist, and I now look forward to my appointments instead of dreading or avoiding them.

The Team here at Dr. Fisher is great. As a new patient they were very thorough, kind, and informative. Being new to the area and not having the greatest experience with other dentist teams, I'm am very happy with Dr. Fisher's team. For once, I'm not apprehensive for any further treatment or visit! Fantastic experience: Timeliness is the name of the game, and they have been very consistent in this regard. Their staff is consistent in their care, the scheduling is very easy, and they work well with insurance. They also give a warm towel at the end of the cleaning, which is very nice. Monte was my hygienist and was very nice, a calming presence.

Fantastic experience: I went in without an appointment, experiencing tooth pain. They were a wonderful and fit me in right away. Everyone was amazing, from the front office staff to the medical team It was a very good experience and I highly recommend them.

Fantastic experience: I called JF DDS to see if they were taking on new patients as my old dentist office closed. That same day they were able to see me. The staff were literally full of smiles, friendly and treated me and my fur daughter (Emotional Support Pal) Lagitha with the utmost care and service. Fantastic experience: This a a friendly group. All of them explain what they are doing, as it is done. They are gentle, careful and thorough. A dentist checks out one’s mouth, throat, gums and teeth during the visiting. I feel like I’m in good hands with Jonny Fisher and his competent team.
