Prior to my first visit here I had a horrible experience at Ideal Dental in GT and therefore walked in anxious. My experience from the second I walked in to when I walked out was amazing, it felt personalized and I felt as though the care and conversation was very thorough. Fantastic experience: Best experience I have had at a dentists office. Everyone is very friendly and kind and the atmosphere is relaxing. I appreciate the option of wearing headphones and watching netflix if I don't feel particularly talkative. I have been going to Perch for about 3 years now and I have always had a 5 star experience. I have gotten to meet Both Dr. Cua and Dr. Patel and you can't go wrong with either, they are both great! My most recent experience I was with Kristine for the xrays and cleaning and she was kind, easy to talk to, and very efficient at the cleaning. I can't recommend Perch Dentistry enough!

Since my first visit, I’ve referred two friends who also had wonderful experiences and I recently switched my daughter’s care there as well. I haven't been routinely going to a dentist since the pandemic due to moving and the last two dentist I went to left my insurance plan so I had to start looking again. Fantastic experience: I went for a filling that was about to come out, which they discovered during my check up. Not only was the experience quick and pain free, but the filling looked so much better than it did originally. It used to always look like a stain, and now it is invisible. I travel from Liberty Hill to stay with these guys, because they have always treated me and my family with special care every time we come in!

Negative experience: I am a new patient trying to schedule an appointment. They did not accept my insurance, which is totally understandable. However, the gentleman whom I spoke with on the phone relayed to me incorrect information, when trying to clarify with him, he was beyond disrespectful and dismissive of my question. I felt discriminated against due to having a lower insurance than they accept. I would have loved to pay out of pocket without using insurance, but that option was not offered and to be completely honest.. I wouldn’t want to go anywhere where the front office discriminates against patients or disrespect anybody for any reason.

Fantastic experience: Dr.CUA’s office got me in right away as a new patient with a dental emergency. Their staff is very well organized knowledgeable and kind!! Dr. Cua was incredibly informative. She expressed 2approaches, showed me the visual details and explained in incredible detail exactly what she was going to do and exactly why. She handed me the air instrument (super soft) that keeps your mouth from having too much water- so I could use it when I needed. Everything from a Netflix show, headphones, light blanket and an under knee pillow! I was so comfortable (excellent job on the Novocain shots!) that 1/2 through the procedure I was so comfortable I literally fell asleep in the midst of drilling. I’m recommending to my friends and family as they are our military in network too!! Thank you Perch dentistry for the best dental visit I’ve had ever.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Cua is the Miss America of Dentist! Not only is she caring, and sweet as apple pie, she is intelligent and has the best imaging equipment I’ve ever seen. Her equipment helped her detect a fractured root in one of my back teeth that NOT ONE of the dozen plus dentists and dental specialists Ive been to has been able to find. If it wasn’t for her, I might never have found out what was wrong. She also gave me extra time during the exam to discuss the problem so that I would have a full understanding of what my options were, then referred me to the equally awesome Dr. Samy at Niva for the extraction. She knew I had anxiety about dental work due to 15 years of chronic pain after a botched wisdom tooth, so she actually did my cleaning herself along side her assistant and made it so much more tolerable than usual. 6 stars for Dr. Cua

Negative experience: The discrepancy between the high rating and my personal experience baffles me. My visit to this dentist was far from satisfactory, marking it as my worst dental experience yet. Time management seemed nonexistent from the outset; despite scheduling a basic cleaning appointment, I found myself waiting without explanation. The receptionist was courteous and efficient initially, ushering me into a room promptly. However, it took an additional 15 minutes for an assistant to arrive, who proceeded to conduct a series of unnecessary and elaborate x-rays, seemingly to exploit insurance coverage to the fullest extent. Following this delay, the dentist arrived 30 minutes later and launched into a disconcerting monologue about potential dental issues, leaving me feeling alarmed and uncertain. Initially, I interpreted his thoroughness as genuine concern for my dental health, considering making this practice my regular choice for dental care, even contemplating scheduling appointments for my children. However, my perspective shifted drastically when another assistant arrived 15 minutes later, presenting a daunting treatment plan with a hefty price tag. Opting to defer such procedures for now due to financial concerns, I noticed a sudden change in the demeanor of the staff. Shortly after, the assistant returned, informing me that they no longer provide basic cleanings, insisting on a deep cleaning instead. This abrupt reversal, coupled with the evident focus on maximizing insurance billing while neglecting patient care, left me deeply disappointed and wary of their practices. Proceed with caution when considering this establishment for dental care.

Fantastic experience: Haven't been to the dentist since before lockdown in 2020 & had lukewarm experiences with the office I used to visit. I wanted something better to start off 2024 & decided to give Perch a chance with the excellent reviews I saw and was not disappointed! Elsie at front desk was so kind & accommodating and made me feel so welcome as a new patient. Soon I was moved to the clinic room & a cordial, easygoing dental assistant went over my insurance coverage (greatly appreciated!) and assisted me with my mouth X-rays. Dr. Patel was so friendly and thorough & broke down all of the photos of my teeth in a way that's both detailed and easy to digest; he also went above & beyond to help me feel at ease with my sensitive gums and provide excellent advice for proper flossing and other viable alternatives; being able to watch TV during the cleaning was a great cherry on top too! Left the practice with a big smile on my face & I definitely will be back again; A+ to the doctor and all their staff!

Negative experience: I loved Perch Dentistry until I called to sort out an issue with insurance. They took Delta dental for years and stopped taking it recently. I do not want to leave Perch so I spoke to my company to switch to MetLife so we can continue care but I can only do so in April 2024. I called to see if I could organize a discounted cash rate 1 time in all the years that we have been going to Perch until I can move my insurance over, the front desk was so rude and wouldn’t even entertain it - she doesn’t even own the business. Needless to say, they have now lost 4 loyal customers who have sent over many referrals to them. It’s so upsetting when it’s just all about money and they do not care about anything else. There are 4 new dentist offices opening up within a 2 mile radius of them and this was an incredibly silly decision to make on a whim.

Fantastic experience: I have been seeing Perch Dentistry for about two years now, and I feel as pleased with their service as the first time I walked into their office. The staff are always happy and courteous, and they treat me like a person and not just a number or a job to do. When I was done with my Invisalign, I thought everything was okay. But weeks later I noticed some shifting and they were able to work with me to fix the issues I was experiencing and I am so grateful for that. When my children are a bit older and don't see a pediatric dentist, I will definitely bring them here as well! I trust them implicitly.

They also provide thoughtful amenities like water, leg cushions, noise canceling headphones and glasses and they end with a warm hot towel to clean your face. They make the dental visit something that you look forward to instead of dreading it.

Fantastic experience: Very nice and very modern dentist office. They had some jams playing and TVs in the rooms to watch while you get your teeth cleaned. Overall great vibes. Everyone was super friendly from the receptionists, hygienists, and dentist. I saw Dr. Patel and he was very friendly and spent time going over all my X-rays and pictures with me as a new patient. The only thing that was a little less than ideal is I had to wait for a bit to get all my X-rays done, but otherwise very happy to be a patient here.

Fantastic experience: My hygienist was quick, efficient, and thorough. She explained to me the pathology of tartar and gave me tips to maintain my oral health. Dr. Patel was the kindest, most charismatic, and thorough dentist I have ever experienced. He went over my imaging, answered all my concerns, and gave me a realistic plan of care without extra charges. This practice is transparent about the cost of things and for what they offer, they do care about dental care being affordable and a spa experience! I typically get anxious going to the dental office, but everyone was so kind from the front to the back of the office. I scheduled my daughter who’s a toddler to be seen here as well. They got me back on track on maintaining my health.

Fantastic experience: Absolutely love perch dentistry, I’ve been going here for a think 2 years now. And they do amazing each and every time. This is the first dentist I have ever been not scared to go to and have actually been excited to go to. They’re very gentle and always ask for your feedback and how you’re doing during your treatment. And I normally HATE and get super scared for numbing shots. Fantastic experience: Yep, this dental practice is the real deal! During my very first visit, everyone that I encountered was warm, receptive, and had clearly read the information that I added to my file (e.g. terrible experiences with the dentist as a child, my sensitivity to cold water). I felt seen and validated, and it went a long way when my hygenist invited me to gargle with room temp water after polishing my teeth. It's in the details, y'all! I appreciate the following: -We're able to communicate about appointments via text message -Was able to schedule my first appointment online, which is rare when you are a new patient -Ample parking & easy to get to -The two TVs, noise canceling headphones, neck & knee pillows in each treatment room -The variety of music being played, and the interior design (I feel like I'm in someone's chic home!) -The carbon fiber details (car junkies, IYKYK) Perch Dentistry toes the line between spa and lounge, and I'm so thankful to have stumbled upon the Ferrari of dental practices that serves and leads with kindess and heart.

The dentist can be a nerve wracking place, even as an adult, but I always feel so calm and comfortable and I was in such great hands. She explained my x-rays in a way that made sense to me - I've never had a dentist like that, they usually show them to you for a second and say everything looks good or you have a cavity here or there and that's it. Fantastic experience: Far and away the best experience I've had at a dentist office. Free coffee up front, televisions in the exam room (including one on the ceiling), and cushions for your neck and legs are all nice, but it's the doctors and staff that make the place truly special. They really go out of their way to make sure you are relaxed and comfortable.

Fantastic experience: Initial visit with Perch Dentistry and Dr Cua was quite impressive. The ancillary staff were polite, helpful and cheery. Dr Cua patiently reviewed the films with me, explaining the areas of concern and her plan to manage these. I had made note prior to the visit that I usually experienced more discomfort with ultrasonic cleanings so I was offered a numbing agent or a manual procedure. The examination and cleaning were done by Dr Cua herself. She was not hurried as many provider are, frequently asked how I was doing and did a great job. As a surgeon and health care provider, I know what exceptional service is, and I found it here with Perch Dentistry.

Came in for cleaning, X-rays, and 2 cavities filled. The front office was on top of all the nitty gritty details of the insurance, Dr. Patel and his assitant thoroughly reviewed the procedures, the X-rays, the results of the exam, and next steps with me-- often pausing to invite my questions. Fantastic experience: First time there with my kids since we just moved to TX. Never have I been to a dentist office where the kids feel comfortable. They sat them in the chairs and they were able to watch Netflix the whole time and just be at ease. The staff is incredibly nice and the dentist has awesome bedside manner. I have been coming here for 2 years now. Dr Cua and her staff make you feel the best. They are patient and empathetic towards your concerns. Today I met Kristine, she bonded with me over Elle King music. She talked to me and shared a few things about herself before she began the dreaded cleaning of my teeth. However, over the last two years it is getting easier to get this procedure done. I was asked if I wanted some numbing gel, but I decided to tough it out. I had no pain during the process and 30 minutes later I had a clean set of teeth and gums. Thank you Kristine for the great job and your care. I hope you have a terrific weekend! Fantastic experience: I have been wanting to go to Perch for a while now due to their proximity to my neighborhood (literally across the street) and all the wonderful reviews. My old dental insurance was lame though, so I wasn't able to. Then my husband's job changed dental insurance and hallelujah! I never thought I'd be this excited to go to the dentist. Haha I definitely had my hopes up, which made my first visit a little nerve-wracking. My husband always says, "Expect the worst and hope for the best." Well, after a cleaning, exam, and a filling, I have to say, Perch was all that the raving reviews have said and more. Dr. Cua is the sweetest and made sure I felt at ease. Even the shot for my filling wasn't as painful as I expected. The entire experience from beginning to end was pleasant. When they say you feel like you're at a dental spa, they're not lying. Best of all, it wasn't any more expensive than my previous dentists. Not sure if it's my husband's new (and maybe improved) insurance, but my copay was nothin'. My husband and my new adult son have switched as well. They're extremely happy.

Fantastic experience: My visit to Perch Dentistry was one I have not experienced in a dental office, ever. When you enter the office, you are greeted by very friendly staff. The front office staff offered me water, sparkling water or coffee. I completed a questionnaire that asked questions to help the doctor understand my goals for my visit and my smile. It also asked questions to understand my level of comfort at the dentist. As I was brought back for x-rays, I was impressed by the technology and tv screens. The two assistants who completed the x-ray process was friendly and informative. I was offered things to make sure I was comfortable such as noise cancellation earphones, pillow for behind your neck and legs, Netflix. When you are laying down getting your teeth cleaned, these items make a big difference. Dr. Cua is top notch. She was detailed with explaining what she saw, what options are available and checked on me as she was working on my teeth. She was gentle and handled every part of our interaction with care. The front office staff did a great job of reviewing my invoice, broken down in detail. I scheduled my teen son for an appointment and he had the same exact experience. I appreciate the level of care, patient engagement and attention to details to ensure the patient feels comfortable. One more thing, the music selection was . You will not be disappointed at Perch Dentistry!

My only suggestion would be to find a way to keep the visit to about an hour. It lasted way too long. Update six months later: I still really like this practice. They are careful and clean and have a stylish and comfortable office. The visit was less than an hour this time and everything was done well. I’ve already booked my next appointment!

Fantastic experience: The facility is really nice and the technology used is top notch, but the real value here is the staff. The front desk was incredibly nice and helpful. I was shown the plan for my visit, a breakdown of cost, and what my insurance would pay at the start of the appointment. That was so much better than the surprise bill as you’re leaving! The assistant was also very nice and had an excellent sense for my comfort as Scans and X-rays and everything else going on. I loved Dr. Patel’s approach to the appointment. As he talked to me about my teeth, he showed me on the scans what he was seeing, what kind of information that gave him, and how it related to the long term care for my teeth. A+ experience on every level!

Fantastic experience: Absolutely LOVED my first visit at Perch Dentistry. I saw Dr. Cua and she was great! First of all, the office is gorgeous and such a vibe. I was seen quickly after arrival. After taking multiple images of my teeth/mouth, they provided a very in-depth review, explanation, and plan for the state of my oral care and options moving forward. I don't think I've ever had a dentist answer all my questions and provide such great information. I was able to see a 3D view of my teeth which was really cool. I will definitely be back (and made my husband book an appointment too!). Everyone was so kind and nice!

Fantastic experience: I hadn’t been to a dentist since late 2019, just after my first was born. So I was a little scared of going again, especially since I haven’t had great experiences in the past. Dr. Patel was absolutely amazing. He took the time to explain all of my x-rays/pictures and I was happily distracted from the anxiety of getting my teeth cleaned by putting on a show of my choice on Netflix. It was a great experience, and I’m excited for my next cleaning! I highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: The most detail oriented dentist I have been to and I have been to a lot over the years. Seems to be the latest technology in dental imaging and they literally walk you through your scans and describe what they are seeing and talk about each of your teeth in color on the TV. Kind of a trippy experience seeing that up and close in your mouth. They make sure you understand what is going on in your mouth and what things they are going to keep an eye on. My family is glad we found a good dentist near our new home.
