Fantastic experience: My teeth have always been important to me. And it’s important to me who I have working in my mouth and on my teeth. I am so thankful that Dr Selden,‘s office was referred to me from a local friend @ NuCraft Dental in Athens, Georgia. I am so grateful for Robin, who is an incredible hygienist. She’s kind, thoughtful, patient & engaging. She’s always done an excellent job on my teeth. I leave there so pleased with the work she has done. I have always been very particular about my teeth and who is cleaning them. Robin always exceeds my expectations. I highly recommend her, Dr Selden and the staff to anybody looking for a dentist or looking to change to the best dentist and hygienist around. I drive from Belmont NC to the Charlotte office.

The staff was so calm and reassuring that I almost forgot I was about to lose a tooth. Dr. J removed it faster than my anxiety could kick in—blink and it was gone! I didn’t even have time to dramatically clutch the chair like I planned. Aftercare and recovery instructions were clear, If you have to lose a tooth, this is absolutely the place to do it.”

Fantastic experience: Today was my second visit. Initially, I wasn’t exactly excited about going in for an hour-long cleaning appointment; however, the cleanings here are by far the most thorough I’ve ever had in my life. I met Barb today—she was so sweet and incredibly thorough. I learned she’s been working with Dr. Seldon since he first opened the practice. I had Toni during my first visit, and she was great, too! I had wonderful conversations with both of them—and even with Dr. Seldon during my first visit. The entire staff is such a pleasure to be around. You can tell they’re a close-knit team and truly enjoy working for/with Dr. Seldon. He is approachable, friendly, upbeat, and fun. I don’t think I’ll go anywhere else again. Update: Today was my third visit. Service, friendliness, and the smiles haven't changed. I was reminded today of another reason why you should visit this practice - their cookies! They offer complimentary, yet delicious, cookies at the end of your visit. They truly set the standards high. Great people. Great service. Great place. I'm grateful.

Fantastic experience: I've been going to inspire Dental for about 10 years. Dr Anoneuvo is caring professional and knowledgeable. I have never had a better experience with a dentist. All the of the office staff are excellent - attentive, positive, caring and fast. I've had all of the dental hygienists and they're all very good. When I've had to have a crown Dr Anonuevo's bedside manner was amazing. Today I had Lauren as my dental hygienist. She's very thorough. She took time to answer my questions and educated me to improve my dental care. She is pleasant caring and smart. I would recommend her to everyone. When I've needed Dental Care quickly because I had a problem where I was in pain, Dr Anoneuvo called me back quickly and got me in for a visit right away. I can highly recommend Inspire Dentistry

Fantastic experience: This was my first visit to Dr. Selden’s office, and I genuinely had an amazing experience from start to finish. Booking the appointment was quick and easy, the staff was welcoming, and the entire visit felt smooth and stress-free. I’m self-pay, and I was pleasantly surprised at how fair and affordable the pricing was. The whole team was wonderful, and Dr. Selden himself is awesome — you can tell he truly cares about his patients and takes the time to explain everything clearly. I’m also happy to report: no cavities! He told me something that will stick with me forever: “Brush and floss the teeth you want to keep.” Simple, but so true! Just as I checked in and have a seat it was time to see Dr Selden. They have always treated us with the utmost respect and professionalism. I refer everyone to their office because it is state of the art, extremely clean and sanitary and has a great atmosphere. My family lives in Indian Trail and happily make the drive to University area to see Dr Selden and his staff. Inspired Dentistry offers a wide variety of services. From standard 6 month cleanings to teeth whitening to veneers and more. A few personal touches they offer an assortment of refreshing beverages (bottled water, juices, tea, and coffee), freshly baked Otis Spunkmeyer cookies , charging station for your devices, mints and even words of encouragement. Where can you go to find such an amazing standard of care?!?

Negative experience: This is the quote on the website “In this practice, you are a person of great importance and infinite worth. You are welcomed and valued. We feel privileged to have the opportunity to care for you and our actions will confirm this belief.” —Dr. John S. Selden However, I received a nasty attitude from Daisy while in office yesterday. She treated me like I was not welcomed or valued. She had a negative tone of voice when asking me which tooth I needed assistance with. I assume she was annoyed by the multiple visits I've had to make for composite repairs. I'm extremely annoyed by it, too! However, I still show up with a positive attitude. If anyone should have a negative attitude about this not so pleasant ongoing experience it should be me since I am still paying for the work that was done and constantly needing repairs. Daisy's actions confirmed that I am not perceived as a person of great importance and infinite worth. I like Dr. Selden and the staff, but Daisy needs an attitude adjustment before she causes patients to seek dental services elsewhere. This practice is out of network for me, but I CHOOSE to come here and pay out of pocket. At this point, I am rethinking my decision.

Robin cleaned my teeth better than anyone has ever cleaned them! She answered all of my questions and gave me suggestions on improving my overall gum and dental health. Then came Dr. Campbell... who was informative and relatable. They all explained everything that they were doing and used plain language to tell me what they were communicating to each other. I’ve gone to the dentist regularly for about 30 years and I will say that this was hands down the best office I’ve ever been in. The staff is so kind and diverse. The Inspired Dentistry staff has been caring for me and my family’s dental health ever since. It’s been over 15 years now and not one single bad experience. Fantastic experience: I have not started my treatment. I went for my consultation today and was very pleased with my first interactions with the team. This was my second orthodontics consultation. Unlike the other practice, inspired dentistry was transparent and inclusive with their prices. The visit seem to be personable and relaxed. But aside from of those things, my highlight was Dr. Campbell offering me refreshments. He didn’t delegate the task to another team member. That small gesture made me feel as the practice is driven on stewardship, including the providers. Overall, just a good first impression. Hopefully this will continue over the course of my treatment.

Karen never misses an opportunity to welcome a patient like they are family. Friends think I’m off when I get excited about an upcoming dentist appointment. Inspired Dentristry feels like a spa environment where a dear friend may work. I moved 400 miles away for a few years yet continued to use Inspired Dentistry. I could never go anywhere else.

Negative experience: My sister went to Dr. Selden and got ripped off. She paid him $13,000 and had 4 different procedures going on but none were completed. When she called to make appointments, she was given the run around. Do not pay up front before you get any work done. She paid him out of her pocket and he filed with her insurance company and got paid for work that was not done. We're seeking legal counsel because that is against the law.
