Fantastic experience: Plaza Family Dental literally saved my week… and my tacos Yesterday afternoon my crown fell off and I couldn’t eat anything. For someone who is a gordita at heart, this was a real emergency. This morning, without an appointment, I walked in with my crown in hand and a little panic in my soul, explaining that I had a very limited time window. The front desk staff was amazing and attentive as always, and the dental assistant was incredibly sweet and took my X-rays while making me feel comfortable the entire time. They told me they would try to squeeze me in and to my surprise, they called me back within just 10 minutes. Dr. Mohammed Ameen, DDS was kind, calm, and reassuring. He carefully checked everything and thankfully was able to save my crown and cement it back in. Thanks to this amazing team, I was finally able to eat again… which means I enjoyed my Taco Tuesday tacos on a Wednesday I am beyond grateful for the care, kindness, and patience shown today. Professional, compassionate, and with a great sense of humor. If you want a dental office that truly cares , Plaza Family Dental is the place!

I had a bad tooth that needed a root canal, the infection got very bad very fast, I was able to get an appointment that very morning, I went home with antibiotic prescription got my teeth cleaned and was back in Friday to fix the problem... From the girls in the front to the assistants who work with the Dr AND the Dr himself THEY are ALL the BEST... Fantastic experience: Near the end of 2025 my crown came off one of my teeth. I immediately called Plaza Family Dental Inc., and Carmel set up an appointment for me the same day. Dr. Ameen analyzed my crown and there were no flaws in the crown and placed the crown over the tooth and it fit. Dr. Ameen did not charge me for the visit. I was pleasantly surprised. He and the staff are always gracious, thorough, professional, with excellent customer service. Last Friday I arrived at Plaza Family Dental Inc., and as usual, Carmel greeted me with a smile and, as always, had me checked in before I opened the front door. Dr. Ameen greeted me with a smile and a side hug. Lana, Hygienist, was thorough and gentle with the cleaning of my teeth. In the sensitive areas, numb the areas and applied antibiotics. When checking out I was greeted by Micala with a warm smile and scheduled my next appointment. Micala was gracious and informative. Going to the dentist has not been something I look forward to; however, Plaza Family Dental Inc. makes it pleasant to come in. They treat everyone with the same warm and friendly greeting and superb customer service. I give them five stars, although they deserve more. I highly recommend that you try their services as you will not be disappointed.

She did a fantastic job on my new bridge this year. And also I have a lot of work done on my teeth from her last year. It was great. My husband has Dr Young and he is satisfied with Dr. Young too. Fantastic experience: Best cleaning done by Diego He is gentle and very patient while cleaning your teeth. Dr James is also great had two crowns previously and no pain. Hope both staff stay quite a while

Fantastic experience: I have never been at a business where everyone is helpful sweet caring thoughtful it was unbelievable the receptionist she is the kindest swedish person in the world if they cloned her they would make millions of dollars she is the best the dentist he was so sweet I have panic attacks when I go to the dentist he was so understanding and made me feel less nervous I didn't have a panic attack I I've never had a dentist be that caring and that was the whole office daycare and they're sweet and they're kind I'm telling you if you need to go to the dentist you need to go plaza family dentist they're the best

Update: I’ve been going here for routine check ups and cleanings for several years. Today 10/29/25 was the first time I’ve had fillings done. I had two. To say I’m impressed is an understatement. Usually after having them done it takes a little time to get used the way your tooth feels and constantly feeling with my tongue until I get used to it. I notice no difference at all. My tooth feels exactly the same. Dr. Ameen and his staff are excellent!

During my visit, he asked how I was doing, and I shared that it had been a rough month—my family had just received some tough news in late July. What happened next truly meant a lot to me: Dr. Ameen went out of his way to show a random act of kindness that I’ll never forget. This experience made it clear—this will be my dentist for life. Fantastic experience: I'm a caregiver/housecleaner and one of my clients goes here and told me how much she loves the dentist and that they had a day for free dental work if you don't have insurance so I decided to check it out. The front office staff is very friendly and cheerful. I love how they show the X-rays right on the screen in front of you as as they are taken. I've taken a few clients to the dentist lately and none of them were shown their X-rays. The screens are always behind them and none of the dentist even offered to show them. They are more caring it seems then the staff and dentists I've taken clients to recently. I will be recommending them to clients of mine that are looking to switch to a more caring dentist and friendlier staff.

Positive experience: The staff is great here. My issue is that they assured me my procedure was covered by insurance when in fact that did not turn out to be true. I am now being billed $900. This is a hardship for me. I wanted to warn others.

Fantastic experience: My hygenist, Sally was really nice even with how terrible my teeth are and I always appreciate them telling me what I'm doing wrong without feeling the judgment and I just felt that with my experience. Also my dentist, Doctor Ameen, is also always very nice about telling me how I suck at taking care of my teeth lol but always just let's me know we're gonna get it taken care of without feeling judgement.

Negative experience: After being told we would not be returning, that we need to find somewhere that accepts Medicare, they still convinced my elderly mother to purchase a plan that included xrays, 2 cleaning, and exams, for far more cost then what her appointment would have been. You were just told by ME she's not retuning. Shame on you!!

Fantastic experience: Karmell and Micala are a real dynamic duo at the front desk. Diego is the best hygienist I've ever had. Dr. Ameen is warm and does a great job of explaining everything that is going on. Everyone always makes me feel like a member of the family, and I appreciate it. Fantastic experience: I went in for my new patient exam and cleaning, and they found a cavity that needed to be taken care of. Instead of making me come back another day, they handled it right then and there, which was super convenient. The staff was on top of everything—they knew my insurance inside and out and had answers for every question I asked. I didn’t have to wait long at all, and best of all, I didn’t even feel the injection. Definitely a great experience!

Also being a teenager in an adult body they were very understanding when I needed help getting my insurance information together! The treatment plan was explained to me. Payment plans were offered to me which are always helpful. 10/10

Everyone from the assistant dental gal (so sorry I'm forgetting names!) to the doctor and the gal who went through the plan for my dental journey, were incredibly comforting and reassuring. I can't recommend them enough, I'm even excited to go in for my cleaning!

Fantastic experience: UPDATE: just went here this morning and without a beat! I swear by it same exceptional service yet again. I wish I could remember my hygienist name but she was the sweetest woman I’ve ever meet. She made me feel welcomed and safe. My dental anxiety is still bad but she made me feel so much better than even the last time. Yet again walking me thru the steps of her cleaning my teeth and even making me feel better than last time. I did get a little panicked in certain spots but she reassured me and made me feel calmer and collected. Same as last post I’ll be going here from now on even when I move. I couldn’t thank you guys enough. (OLD POST ): So I’ve always hated the dentist, been scared to go for years. Came in here thinking it was gonna be the same old stuff where I had panic/ anxiety attacks the whole time and they would probably drill me on flossing and so on. BOO! But nope, to my surprise they were amazing! They talked me through everything step by step, came up with a plan to make me happier with my smile and improve my oral health. They have the best communication by far on every step they were doing to help improve my oral health to payments to even making it easy to set my next appointment. I will be coming here from now on, on a regular basis. I couldn’t thank them enough already and it’s only my first visit.

Negative experience: My appointment was changed from 1:30 to 8AM on Saturday September 21st. After arriving at 7:45, I witnessed the hygienist and one of the front office staff members standing outside unable to get in the office cuz neither one had a key to unlock the door. They both made numerous phone calls to see if anyone could come and unlock the door. They were told that someone would be there at 8:30 to unlock the door to the office. Finally at 8:45 one of the assistants showed up and unlocked the door. My cleaning that was originally scheduled for 8am didn’t commence until 8:50. I was out of the chair at 9:10. I don’t care if someone had to come in their PJ’s to unlock the door to the office…..just come! Then being rushed through a normal 1 hour appointment time……Not cool or professional, in my opinion. Being a retired Certified Dental Assistant……I know when a patient is being rushed through their appointment.

Fantastic experience: All around great experience! I was taken care of and talked through the process in a way that made me comfortable and put me at ease! Looking forward to having any and all of my work done here for me and my family!

Fantastic experience: Timely and professional, as always. Let’s face it, no one “likes” going to the dentist, but the staff, techs, dentists at Plaza Family Dental treat you with respect and care the entire time you’re in their office; from check-in to exam to departure everyone you meet will ask how your day is going, how the procedure went, are you comfortable, is there anything you need, do you have any questions. It is a small business truly focused on customer needs.

Fantastic experience: The hygienist is super friendly and always does an excellent job cleaning my teeth. The doctor and other staff members are also fantastic, making every visit comfortable and pleasant. Highly recommended!

Negative experience: My husband went in for the coupon $59. Be sure to read fine print. No cleaning. The said he had periodontal disease. So no cleaning Came home with a $6500 estimate. He had his teeth cleaned in CA a little over 6 months ago. They said they explained it would be an evaluation. He did not understand he may not get a cleaning in the terms they used. So basically paid for X-rays and a big estimate. There is fine print on flyer that I needed a magnifying glass to reed. We are seniors and just thru out $59. You might as well just wait till you need dentures. Cheaper in the long run.

Fantastic experience: I love my dentist office from the front desk to the dental hygienist, they are all spectacular! I don’t know if anyone can say that about the dentist as it is not any enjoyable task. They make it that way from the moment you walk in and are greeted at the door, to when you sit down in the chair. Kindness and attention to what you ask and need, respect, patience and compassion is what they display! I’m so thankful to have such a great dentist office!

Fantastic experience: Had the best experience from scheduling with the office manager to the visit. The hygienist Kiana is excellent! The best bedside manner and has a knack for calming anxieties. She explained everything before she did it and was very gentle. The Dr was very thorough at explaining things and going over the treatment plan. Was an an exceptional experience all the way around. Highly recommend and will refer my friends.
