Dr. Elena and her staff were incredibly attentive, answered all of our questions with care, and made sure my boys felt comfortable throughout the entire visit. The customer service here is truly top-notch—friendly, efficient, and thoughtful. Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: The only dental office I will ever bring my children too! Our son had his first appointment here this morning for x rays, cleaning, & fluoride treatment. The staff was beyond friendly, so kind & sweet towards my son. Explaining everything as they went so he wouldn’t be scared or caught off guard. They even had his name on the new patient board welcoming him! They went over our treatment plan with us once his appt & X-rays were done. Explaining what he would need done & cost. Offered payment options since we are self pay & broke up the appointments making it easier for him! But also had an option to complete everything in one appointment. I just could not be happier or more impressed with our experience and my son is begging to go back!! P.S. the whole decor, prizes, how they have everything set up?!? AMAZING!!!! The most kid friendly office I’ve ever seen!!!! Me & my husband were just as amazed and amused as our son

Fantastic experience: I had the BEST experience bringing my toddler here! Every single person was incredibly friendly and genuinely happy, you can feel it the moment you walk in. Dr. Elena was amazing: thorough, calm, and gave great recommendations without making anything feel overwhelming. The whole appointment took minutes (a toddler parent’s dream), everything was easy and smooth, and we left smiling which says everything. Balloons, toys, stickers… basically a toddler paradise at the end. Happy staff, happy child, happy parent. Honestly, I wish I could be their patient too Highly recommend to any parent who wants a stress-free dental visit!

Fantastic experience: Kinda had a dental emergency on a weekend, they called first thing Monday morning and made room for us, got us in and out in a few hours. The staff is beyond kind, they were such a calm presence for my little (and my own!) Dental fears. All around absolutely phenomenal experience for such an awful situation.

Fantastic experience: The staff at this practice have been exceptional. From the timely appointment reminders to the knowledgeable insurance coordination, the level of service has been outstanding. My 2-year-old had no apprehension whatsoever, and my 5-year-old was completely unfazed by the dentist's examination. They name the teeth after princesses that have made the at-home oral hygiene routine much more enjoyable for my children. The creative and engaging approach has truly made a positive difference in their dental experience.

Negative experience: The staff is nice but not being able to sit with your child, hold their hand, etc while they’re getting any kind of medical procedure is insane. Each parent/child is different.. there should be a one size fits all approach with something like that. My kid would have been hysterical and traumatized if I had to leave him alone for something he was already so nervous for. We ended up going to to Sarasota Pediatric Dentistry for treatment.. they fit us in the same day (exam and tooth extraction). My husband sat with my son the entire time and he did so, so well. It was a breeze.. no pain, no trauma. Highly recommend! Wish we would’ve just started there

My 9 year old got two teeth extracted today and Dr. M & M and his staff did an exceptional job keeping his anxiety down and making the process super comfortable for him. Fantastic experience: Dr. Malik and his team are AMAZING !! My middle son has Aspergers and severe oral sensory. It is incredible to see the progress he has made with them. Not only do they make each visit a positive experience, Dr. Malik personally calls to check on him after every major procedure. That is something so rare these days and it means the world to us.

Fantastic experience: We were referred here by our daughter's primary dentist, Dr. Morgan's office, for a tooth extraction following trauma. Our primary did not have anesthesia services on site at the time we needed. The entire staff at SmileWorks was wonderful and took great care of my 3-yr-old. Dr. Malik called at end of business day to check on her recovery at home and reiterate the follow-up plan. Would highly recommend this practice and we are grateful they were able to schedule us promptly during this stressful event. Thank you!

Fantastic experience: My 6 year old needed an extraction with general anesthesia and they handled the entire process with amazing precision and support. Every detail was explained and the support was fantastic. I highly recommend using SmileWorks. The whole team is so nice and competent. They were able to do the whole procedure at the dentist office and this allows for much easier entry and exit than having to go to the hospital. We are so grateful they were able to help us.

While I’ve never been a fan of going to the dentist myself, Dr. Elena and Dr. M&M have completely changed that experience for her. Video games in waiting room and TVs over the beds. The staff is always excited and happy. Always a great experience.

Fantastic experience: I took my grandson in for an extraction. They were slightly behind but, that is to be expected in Healthcare not every procedure goes as planned. My grandson was so scared; he ran away when it was his time to go back, but the staff was great with him! They explained post care at least three times and Dr Slack called later that evening to check on him! 10/10

Fantastic experience: Update: we’ve been officially coming here for years now and love it just as much (if not more) than our first visit. This place is always clean, staff is always friendly, and they treat parents with respect. They are so amazing with kids, you won’t regret it. They have kid friendly flavors (bubble gum, chocolate, etc), tvs above their seats so they can watch their favorite show while getting work done, they get balloons and tokens when they leave. I could go on and on with how great they are! Original review: This place is simply amazing. The staff and the environment is WONDERFUL. They made my 6 year old totally comfortable! We originally went to an adult dentist office for my daughter who told me she needed her baby teeth extracted due to cavities! When I came here for a second opinion they said absolutely not! I am so grateful we chose to come here!

Dr. Malik and his staff were very kind, compassionate and informative. While kids wait, there are games in the lobby, and there is also coffee for parents. The waiting room feels safe and inviting. This is a great choice for a local children's dentist. I highly recommend Smile Works Kids Dentistry for children.

Fantastic experience: This was my two daughter’s first dentist experience and I couldn't think of a better place to take them. The staff was extremely friendly and truly took pride in the line of work they do. The make sure the parent is involved when they are with the child. The waiting room in lobby makes the kids not so anxious and gives them time to just relax and play fun video games or read. I love how the staff gives the children a surprise at the end. This makes their experience a memorable one where they want to come back. I highly recommend this dentist! You will not be disappointed.

Fantastic experience: We love how Smile Works really does revolve around the kids. We drive about 50 minutes to go to them. They are the only kids dentist around that my son doesn't get upset when they take the xrays. The doctors and staff are all very friendly!

Fantastic experience: fantastic customer service! The Smileworks Kids Dentistry team welcomed us and calls my daughter by her nickname, "Mei -Mei" which immediately puts her at ease. We recommend SmileWorks Kids Dentistry to anyone who is looking for a great, fear free experience for their children!

Negative experience: They want $450 just for a check up which includes a mandatory x-ray. This price is after a "big discount" because we are cash payers. We were also told that if they don't do an x-ray (at least once every 2 years) the Dr. will lose his licence. The lady on the phone wasn't nice nor even trying to be nice. This place doesn't look like friendly enough and they don't seem to appreciate your business 8n anyway. It's not worth a visit. There're way better ones out there. They seem to be a typical hustler, money focused, fear-mongering clinic. Do your own research and don't just believe paid/fake reviews

Fantastic experience: We absolutely love our dental experience at Smile Works. Our kids actually ask to go to the dentist! The staff is so kind and warm and make the experience incredibly fun. This past appointment, they celebrated Disney day and everyone dressed up. My kids are still talking about it. It's not every dental practice where your dentist is making balloon animals...

Fantastic experience: Dr. Malik and the anesthesiologist Dr. Karen Slack were very kind, compassionate and made the dentist fun. Dr. Elana is Anazzing to and my boy seen her on their first check there and we knew we wanted to come back. My boys were not afraid and love this dentist. This is the best pediatric dentist hands down. All the Staff there were amazing. The anesthesiologist assistants even helped one of boys to the car as I needed the help this morning. One thing that I really love is the Dentist shared is they go on Mission trips and have so much compassion for kids and their parents. They have som much patience and if you have a special needs child, I highly recommend this dentist. This dentist has love for special needs children and every child who walks in the door. They truly care.

Fantastic experience: We’ve been taking our children to SmileWorksKidsDentistry for years and they are just as amazing as they were back years ago when my children needed extensive dental work done under sedation and I was so afraid. But from the very beginning the staff explained all work to be performed in detail, also, anesthesia team trained to work specifically with little children came to help with all sedation needs. I was impressed with how kindly they treated my children. After all dental work done my kids still really like dental visits because of positive experience. Dr. Malik and Dr. Elena are both professional and caring. We really like all of the staff there. Totally recommend this office!

Fantastic experience: We’ve been coming here for years and would not go anywhere. It’s not just about the cool building and video games in the waiting room or TVs above each treatment bed. Both the doctors are amazing professionals and amazing communicators with both the kids and the parents. I want this place to be for adults as well or at least for me!!! Can I say I’m a kid at heart and get seen here?

We were not existing patients prior to this emergency appointment that they were able to squeeze us into on the same morning we called! They were so gentle and patient with my son, and fit us in same day after initial exam to extract his tooth and take him out of his misery! Fantastic experience: Would totally recommend! I took my 12 year old son for his first appointment knowing that he would need some kind of treatment. I had been told that he would need his tooth removed back in the UK but following an x-ray it was decided that the tooth could be saved with some dental work. We got an appointment the next day and my son had the procedure. All questions were answered and concerns were discussed to put us both at ease. My son was made comfortable at all times and I was so impressed with all the staff who put us at ease the moment we arrived. I would thoroughly recommend this practice and rate it 10/10. Fantastic experience: My 2 year old son and my 5 year old daughter with level 2 autism both needed one of their baby teeth removed with IV sedation. The process was smooth and both of my children were comfortable and had a great experience. The building is set up for kids and the lobby is a play area. I Highly recommend Smile works.

Fantastic experience: Update: I brought my other child for his first clean and exam. It was such an amazing experience yet again! Everyone is so sweet and kind! You can tell they are a team and work well together. They listen to you for concerns and just want the best for your children. 10/10 recommend!! I came in for a second opinion as I didn’t have a great experience at my prior dentist. Before I made it in the door, I loved the appearance of the building. Now that I made it inside, they had my daughter’s name on the board welcoming her to the practice. I was so blown away that they took the time to think of her even before they met her!! The whole office from the front desk, nurse, doctor, billing, they all made my girl feel at home and comfortable. They were friendly and it was super clean and inviting. The doctor was thorough and left me and my child at ease leaving. I highly recommend anyone to go here!!

Fantastic experience: So impressed with this place! From the moment I called to inquire about an emergency extraction for my kiddo, this place and the staff far exceeded my expectations. They scheduled us for the very next day (we weren’t established patients), did an amazing and quick job extracting the tooth, made my kid super comfortable, and even my 7 yo kid was so happy with the experience - after just having her tooth pulled - she came up to me and told me I should write a 5-star review for this place. The staff are so professional, responsive, friendly, and truly caring. This is now our new dentist!

I have 3 kids and we always time our visit with my sister and her son so I can have help with my older kids since they are in a different area as my youngest. Fantastic experience: Dr "Princess" Elena and staff took such incredible care of our daughter during what could have been a scary process and made the whole thing fear free and essentially fun! The office was wonderful with accommodating and last minute need to get our daughter out of pain and we are so grateful

Fantastic experience: I took my 21-month-old daughter to SmileWorks today and was somewhat nervous about it. She is very young, and it was her first visit to the dentist. She does great at the doctor's, so I was not totally worried, but all my worries were alleviated when I laid her down on the table. They had Mrs. Rachel on the TV, my daughter's favorite media, and this helped calm her down. It was as if they had planned for my daughter to have a great experience. The tech also did a great job asking my daughter what she wanted and helping her have a sense of autonomy during the visit. Finally, the dentist was great; she was very thorough, did a great job explaining things, and was extremely encouraging. I highly recommend SmileWorks.

Fantastic experience: Dr. M&M and his whole team are AMAZING!! We took my older son here first when he was 7 and now he's 10. They've always been Great with him. But more recently we've taken our 6 yo son that is very high scoring on the Autism scale. This means that he is low functioning, about the level of a 2 yo with terrible 2s. Dr. M&M, Dr. Elena, and the entire office staff are SO GREAT w/him!! They show him nothing but kindness, patience, and love. They truly care about him and make sure he always leaves happy and wanting to come back. I would recommend them to anyone with a kid, especially a kid with special needs!!

Fantastic experience: Another great experience. The dental hygienists are very kind. My kids always look forward to their appointments! Dr Elena is always helpful and positive. Dr M is also very kind and patient with the kids. Always a welcoming staff that are super nice.

Fantastic experience: I highly recommend SmileWorks Kids Dentistry. My son’s first appointment was an excellent experience from the moment we checked in until we checked out. The staff was very professional, friendly, and thorough in their work. Dr. Elena is amazing, patient, and incredibly knowledgeable!

Fantastic experience: The staff members are so nice and Dr M & M is awesome. My son had a tooth infection and was scared to go to the dentist because of previous experience at a different place but from the moment we went through the doors at smile works , they made him feel comfortable and relaxed. The way they treat their patients and family is out of this world. After the procedure, Dr M called to check on him and make sure he is ok. oh mine, my son now is no longer scared to go to the dentist and can’t wait for his next visit. Thanks smile works for an amazing experience and giving my son a reason to smile again which makes me so happy.

Fantastic experience: Update to my review from 11 years ago- I am a dentist, and I still bring my kids here. The care they receive at SmileWorks is sooooo good. My 5 year old got a filling with Dr. M&M and his amazing assistant Morgan, and she had a great time! Really, a great time. At the dentist. Such a great experience for the kids to come here, which leads to a lifetime of good oral health as adults. My kids will have NOT have the same dental phobia that most adults have. I am so grateful for the care Dr. M&M and team have shown my family. They get all the stars! From 2013- We brought our 5 year old little girl to Dr. M&M for her first dental visit, and to be honest, I was worried that her fear would not allow them to do a checkup. Not only did they do a checkup, they were able to take her xrays and clean her teeth. She LOVED it! She can't wait to go back. Having a "checklist" that the patient carries around is a great idea to get the kids involved in their dental "experience."

Negative experience: If you want to throw your money away then this is the office for you. Mom of 3 here; I took my 2 older children in for cleanings and they both need some work done. They wrote up an insane treatment plan using sedation for both kids costing over 7k$. They push white fillings on a child’s tooth that’s going to fall out one day. There was zero follow up for other treatment options that would be more cost effective. I am grateful for the negative experience because it lead me to put new pediatric dentistry. Please get a 2nd opinion before letting them rack up your bill.

Fantastic experience: I have a special needs granddaughter that needed extensive work. Smileworks went above and beyond to make sure she felt safe and secure and comfortable. I can't say enough good things about the experience.

Fantastic experience: Dr. M&M and Dr. Elena are THE BEST! My three kids (ages 11, 13, and 15) have loved going to them since they were in nursery school and I couldn't imagine going anywhere else. Their expertise is top notch and they never suggest unnecessary procedures or xrays. They've also instilled good habits for all our kids, to the point where all of them have been a party of the "No Cavity Club" their whole lives! Fantastic experience: Always an amazing experience. My kids love going there (8,5). I started them when both turned 3 so they could feel comfortable. They even like playing make believe dentist at home. Everyone there goes above and beyond. Seriously the nicest people.

Fantastic experience: I am absolutely amazed with Dr. M&M!! My 4yr old daughter needed a filling and he took such good care of her - and she didn’t even flinch at the numbing shot! I couldn’t believe it. He’s so amazing!!! He kept her mind busy the whole time talking about things he knew she’d like to talk about. My daughter left saying she loves the dentist and can’t wait to come back! Highly recommend!!!

Fantastic experience: I loved the staff at Smileworks! I especially loved how they took the time to explain everything in detail and answer all our questions while still keeping my 4 year old happy and entertained. I wish we would have found them sooner as I think some of my sons dental problems could have been avoided if we had them as our advisors.

Fantastic experience: They are wonderful My daughter has special needs and going to the dentist is always a struggle. All of the people in this office are patient and kind. They attempt multiple different ways to get her to participate. And they never rush the process. They take the as much time as she needs to calm down and become comfortable. Going there is hard for us because it is an hour away--but it is well worth it.

Fantastic experience: My wife and I had to go bring our young son to a few dentists before we found the perfect one and this place is not your normal dentist office. If you have young ones this place is AMAZING. The entire staff including Dr Elena of course is very professional and they cater to our young patients so well. They really care about the kids experience and are even willing to squeeze them in for emergencies. They have a specialist for every aspect of dentistry. I sold dental equipment all over the east coast. I’ve visited hundreds of dental offices and this one takes the THANK you Smile Works for taking care of our little man today who had a TON of difficult procedures to be done and he left happy and in no pain and our follow up plan is in place thanks to your experienced staff. Can’t say enough and we will be back. If you are not being treated the way you feel you should be at the kids dentist SWITCH!!!!

Fantastic experience: The absolute best experience yet. My daughter was extra nervous from a previously bad experience at a different office, Mrs Morgan was extremely patient. She did a great job making both of my kids comfortable, and talked them through the entire process. Would absolutely recommend this office to anyone who is in need of pediatric dental services.

Fantastic experience: I brought my daughter in after she had a fall and has tooth problems. They got us in quickly, ensured my 2 year old had such a fun and easy experience and were so informative! I am now bringing other child there. Such a fun environment with tvs above you, game consoles in the waiting room and friendly faces!
