They’re accommodating of my nervousness, they allow me to wear my ear plugs and work with me to communicate during our appointment. Fantastic experience: Today was my first visit to McKee Family Dentistry. I was up most of last night with a toothache. I called and was able to see Dr. Allison within a few hours. After initial exam and 2 X-rays, we discussed my options at length. I decided to replace a crown and I was able to return in the afternoon for the procedure (there was a cancellation). Although getting a crown is never the greatest experience (let's be honest here), it was completed with minimal discomfort. Dr. Allison and her assistant explained what they were doing, each step of the way. The office staff were all friendly and knowledgeable. I highly recommend MFD.

Negative experience: Not sure what changed, but I believe it was a anti inflammatory gum laser treatment that I was given, that was optional. The treatment was not discussed with me until I left and was charged $60, these services should be discussed with the patient prior to administering them.

Fantastic experience: I recently made the change from a pediatric dentistry to a “big girl” dentistry so I haven’t been going here very long but the few times I have i’ve seen Dr. Warns and her assistant Melissa. They are both so amazing and so kind. Melissa is a wonderful tech and is very kind and patient. Dr. Warns and her both explain everything very well and make sure to always check in with me. I really appreciate them because of their patience, attitude, and kindness. An amazing dental office!!

Negative experience: I really want to like this place, but my last couple of cleanings here have got me really concerned. I have really excellent oral hygiene. Both the dr and the hygienist always complement me on my excellent gum and tooth health, but the last few times I have been here and getting cleaning done, I felt like it did more harm than good. I had the same hygienist each time. She is very personable and seems very experienced and knowledgable, but after each visit, I noticed markings on my teeth that weren't there before. First I thought maybe it is in my head, but I just had a cleaning done where she used the scaler in an area of gum recession and after the cleaning, I noticed roughness in that area and when I looked there are scratched and little gouges in the root surface where the gum has receded. This has really upset me and got me concerned. At this point, the damage is still minimal, but if it goes at this rate in another 3 or 4 cleanings, I will have huge divots in my roots in no time and will need treatment. Dental cleaning should not be this invasive to teeth. Considering my excellent oral health, I am seriously wondering if these cleanings are causing more harm than good. I really like the dr. here, but at this point, I am contemplating if I should switch offices or reduce my cleaning visits.

Negative experience: Unfortunately I provided a very positive review initially and have come to find out their billing process is deceptive. After asking if they accept Medicare and told they do, I was unfortunately neglected to be informed they are out of network, which mean United Medicare will only pay a "fair" amount for services charged Therefore, after paying what was assumed to be my share, United Healthcare only paid for what they feel is appropriate charges, leaving me with an additional charge over and above what I was charged at the time of services. Now the additional coverage I pay for monthly to allow for dental coverage isn't allowed to cover even though I have not used my alloted annual coverage and have to pay an additional amount. So McKee "Family" Dentistry is billing me for the additional charges they charge above what United Healthcare feels is a "fair" fee for the services. Now I am pulling additional funds out of my retirement savings to cover the over charges that were failed to be mentioned at the time of requesting if they accepted Medicare. Oh, they accept Medicare, but fail to tell you, Medicare is will not be enough to cover your dental care for a simple cleaning.

Positive experience: Your staff is wonderful! They were super kind to my 3yo daughter and me. They did their best to make her feel comfortable. The only knock I have is that it isn’t very kind friendly. No kid things in the waiting room like books, fish, or toys, and the dental chairs are definitely for adults, not kids. I think if you’re offering services for little ones, having more kid-friendly stuff there would be really great.

This is a consummate professional, interested in what you're experiencing, and is thoughtful, thorough, and highly skilled. Never feel rushed, and nice to not to wait to see him, meaning he and staff are organized and responsible.

Fantastic experience: They were my hero’s. Walking in with strong recommendation from sister. Had an abscess tooth that my current dentist ( CD) dropped the ball on and even extracted the wrong tooth for with facial numbing etc. McKee dentistry made room for me that afternoon. Very caring snd compassionate.

Alana was careful to avoid those areas while still providing an excellent cleaning. They also recommended both short and longterm treatment options. I’ll definitely be coming here from now on.

Positive experience: Overall my experience wasn't as good as in the past. I had a new hygienist, she was very nice, but the cleaning was a bit rough. She claimed my teeth looked great, but it sure didn't feel like it. My mouth was very sore for the next couple of days. Otherwise, my contact with the dentist and front desk was great as always.

Fantastic experience: I've been with McKee family dentistry for 8 years now. I moved from Loveland a couple of years ago but I like the practice so much that I gladly make the extra drive to see them. The techs. ask the usual questions BUT, they actually listen and respond to your answers. My dentist actually knows me more by my teeth. I count that good. The front desk staff is courteous and knowledgeable about insurance, payments, etc. I don't know anyone who just loves to go to the dentist but McKee makes it as good as it can be.

I had, Alana, for my dental hygienist today and she was wonderful, personable and enjoyable to have cleaning my teeth! I want to add that McKee Dentistry has always been on time with my appointments, I have never waited long after my scheduled time. The front ladies that are there to greet you and check you in, are friendly and patient! I love this place….

Fantastic experience: I had bridge prep today by Dr. Mccartor. He’s been my dentist forever and is absolutely fabulous. He knows my whole family including my 103-year-old father who just passed away three months ago. He was also so kind and gentle with my dad. He had all of his own teeth! Today during my appointment, He took the time to keep me posted the whole time. His assistant Kelly was also amazing, kind, and gentle!!! His shots are painless!! By the way!

Negative experience: 1st off the Hygenist and Doctor were great. Reception made me pay for everything at the end and would not even try to bill my insurance. Told me I could just apply for a refund with my insurance. I have been with you for 20+ years, but now I will be changing dentists because of this. Unacceptable.
