Fantastic experience: Our experience was amazing from start to finish❣️ My military son came home to get some “affairs in order” on a very short notice before he leaves for Hawaii (Thursday over Thanksgiving and it is a weekend)!! He leaves tomorrow Tuesday and Trisha was amazing. She maintained communication with me all weekend and did everything to make sure he was seen first thing Monday (today) before he leaves tomorrow. They got him in and made him feel very cared for! They answered all of his questions regarding insurance and Invisalign; as well as, facilitated all of the communications he needed for his military profile going forward etc! THANK YOU

I was just in & had a crown put on & Alyssa was assisting Dr. Jessica, Alyssa was wonderful, so kind & knowledgeable! Dr Carey, Dr Jessica & staff are a wonderful group!! Amy is an amazing hygienist—she always gets my teeth squeaky clean and makes every visit comfortable. Both doctors are incredibly friendly and take the time to answer all my questions and address any concerns. The entire staff is so warm, welcoming, and genuinely kind. I truly can’t recommend River’s Edge enough!

I’ve been seeing Shelly as my hygienist from the start and she is wonderful, it’s like seeing an old friend when I come in. Everyone at the clinic makes me feel so welcome and the fact that I am greeted BY NAME by so many of the staff really means a lot. Negative experience: I do not recommend. I had my daughter in a few weeks back and used a coupon for a cleaning which was $79. My problem is they found 3 cavities that needed to be filled and the quote was around $1000. My daughter has no insurance so I began checking around . I reached out to 211 united way and gave me some options. Long story short I took her on to have her fillings done even got the X-rays transferred and had Rivers edge estimate with me. Basically no fillings needed to be done . She looked several times at the areas recommended to be filled. Well teeny tiny areas where they wanted to fill was unnecessary at this time. We will continue to watch these areas but thank god it saved us at least $1000 dollars for now. Who knows maybe sometime in the future they will develop into a problem but for now fillings were premature. Just putting this out there so people can double check before forking over unnecessary hard earned money. Times are tuff maybe get a second opinion. I’m glad I did.

Negative experience: Had a cavity filled, six months later the filling broke. They refilled the cavity. Six months later I inquired about pain I was having in the same area. They blew me off and said “everyone gets a zinger every once in a while”. My next appointment six months later I inquired again as I was still having pain. They did X-rays and found a cavity underneath the filling. They then attempted to fill the cavity again and had to drill so deep it inflamed the nerves so bad and caused me to have to get a root canal follow up by a crown. $2000 later I’m hoping this is done. Sadly I know of others that have had identical experiences and are now dealing with more issues related to the original filling from this dentist. My family will now be looking for a new dentist.

Fantastic experience: Had a great experience with River edge today had my permeant bridge put in and a bone spur removed.i have always had a good experience there.

Negative experience: I had multiple fillings done at River's Edge Dental and have had lasting issues with every single one. During both appointments, the dentist barely interacted with me and completed the work so quickly that I was initially impressed—but now, looking back, it feels like the work may have been rushed and not done with proper care. Two of the fillings were not adjusted correctly, and they were causing horrible pain. Before these fillings, I had ZERO pain. I called to get in before the weekend for an adjustment because I was in so much pain that I was taking Tylenol and ibuprofen around the clock. They told me it likely just needed to be readjusted—which made sense since I couldn’t fully close my mouth on one side—but they couldn’t see me until the following Tuesday. By then, I wasn’t able to sleep through the night and the Tylenol/ibuprofen around the clock weren’t enough. The adjustment appointment itself was extremely painful, and I was told to just “tough it out.” After a few more days of no improvement, I spoke with a retired dentist friend who advised me to see an endodontist immediately. He said there's no reason that I should have waited so long, but I had because of what the dentist who did my fillings said. Ultimately, I ended up needing two root canals because of these fillings, and I still have lingering pain and sensitivity with another filling. While that pain is manageable, I’m shocked and disappointed that I’ve had this many serious issues from what should have been routine fillings. I don't like to leave negative reviews, but I want to warn others. Based on my experience, I would be cautious about going here for anything more than a basic cleaning.

Positive experience: Alyssa was so nice and helped me feel comfortable and reassured. I had 2 fillings and she explained every step to me. Dr Jessica was also very kind!

Fantastic experience: I have been going to Rivers Edge since I was a child, and I’ve never had a bad experience. I have very bad dental anxiety, and everyone there is so warm and comforting. Especially the hygienist Cassie! ♥️

He clearly knows what he is doing, and he performs his work with precision and care far above any other dentists I have gone to. I had to get two cavities filled, and I was in and out of the building in under 25 minutes! I highly recommend to anyone. I would give more stars if I could.

Every staff member has made me as comfortable as possible during each visit and you can tell how much they love what they do. Fantastic experience: I have had dental work completed by Dr Carey over the past couple of years after my dentist retired. I have had the same few staff members for cleanings and dental work and they have remembered me and we have chatted about our lives, it’s nice coming from a small practice to one that is a little larger, but still having that feeling of being connected to the person taking care of your teeth, especially when it might cost a few bucks :) Dr Carey has always been very thorough about explaining what each process he was completing and encouraging me to ask for breaks if needed. The assisting staff have always done the same and provided great education. The front desk staff have been helpful in getting me in when I have broken a filling and are helpful in trying to make appointments work for my schedule. They do an excellent job keeping up on their wait list, which is great during a time when scheduling dental appts can hard anywhere! They are always friendly and helpful

Positive experience: We (really!) liked the staff, but have spent the last few months in billing hell. There was big talk about a "relaxation room" and snacks- (silly, but the teen loved the idea and stated they weren't shown or didn't see that anywhere. Insurance hell: Firstly, we gave insurance and were not told they did not take that insurance, so we were billed. Luckily we had secondary insurance for my husband's work. We asked then to also bill that insurance- and it's been 3+ months of threatening letters and NO ONE billing the right insurance. I finally called and spoke to a manager and begged them to fix it-- after getting another threatening letter. I had given this insurance information to them TWO other times. I was promised today it would be billed correctly-- months and months after we were first there. So hopeful it will be taken care of. We liked the staff- very friendly, but not going back.

Fantastic experience: I am newer to the area and if there is one thing I am certain of, it's that I found a dental clinic for me and my family. Hannah, my hygienist, is gentle and a very kind person. The clinic is clean and everyone is welcoming. Definitely would recommend if you are in the area :)

They are not pushy about things like I’ve experienced at other locations. I also think today was the first time in a long time that the cleaning wasn’t painful for me. I’m one of those people that had horrible experiences with the dentist as a child, and really don’t like it at all. Dawn understands and she is gentle and patient with me. If something is hard to get to or my teeth are sensitive she tries a different approach with me. I am grateful for her. Dr. Carey is very nice and also gentle.

Fantastic experience: Front desk (Denae?) Is remarkable. The best service I've seen! Needed to set up appointments, look at costs and scenarios dealing with changes to insurance coning on the first of the year. Helped me with a plan to maximize the amount covered for each plan year. Followed up on the same day with earlier appointments that became available. Absolutely perfect results, and she is very personable. Can't wait to go back!

She is just the kindest person ever. I cannot thank her enough for the help she has given me. Fantastic experience: I choose River's Edge Dental Clinic as my new Dental care provider after moving to the area. I am so happy with my decision! I have very high anxiety when it comes to dental care but Dr. Carey has made my visits easy. He understands the stress that some patients have and takes his time to talk you through your procedure. Fantastic experience: The ladies that works at the phones are so sweet! I’ve been going here for a couple years now and I’ve always been very anxious about talking to people over the phone. My family can’t speak english, so I have to handle all the appointments at a young age. The first time on the phone with them they complimented me on how I was able to navigate things like insurances at my age and that really validated young me; since no one really said that to me. They are always so cheery and supportive it’s amazing.

Fantastic experience: I am a mom of 6 kids- we just transferred here. The staff is friendly and excellent in all they do. My kids love the hygienists. We have had teeth cleanings and one cosmetic filling- all great. On the way home, my 4 year old wanted to go back to the dentist! Overall- great experience!

Fantastic experience: I had been sticking with the same dental clinic for the past 20+ years but now living in a different area with a family of my own the drive over to Hastings sometimes became conflicting. I really loved that place and after discovering the Tri family had a practice here as well it was a no brainer. They were able to squeak me into their schedule and very accommodating to mine being over the road a lot. I felt very comfortable during the cleaning and even more so hearing about the years of experience that some of the staff members have. Shelly was wonderful and really knew her stuff and answered any questions I had. This is a great clinic!

Fantastic experience: Worked me into be seen for a broken tooth on a day they were 100% booked. Staff is always pleasant, efficient, informative and comforting. The Dr. was friendly and was able to identify the problem and appropriate plan of care quickly. I had a horrible dentist as a child and I am terrified of dentists, but the team at River's Edge in Lakeville is awesome and puts you at ease! I wouldn't go anywhere else!

My son is extremely anxious and scared of any medical/dental clinic but told me how much fun it was. We live an hour away and will continue to make the drive to see them. Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: I am one of those who do not enjoy the dentist. I had not been for over 3 years and they could not have provided a better experience!! My anxiety level will not keep me from returning to regular visits to this office. Entire staff is wonderful!!!

Fantastic experience: I had a great first visit to River's Edge. My hygienist, Saskia, was both personable and professional. Dr. Carey was also friendly and easy to talk to when doing the exam.

Fantastic experience: Every visit has been wonderful, from the first visit we had when we moved here 6 years ago at their old location to now. My young daughters have had to had fillings and the dental team does a wonderful job keeping them comfortable and as painless as possible. Thankful to have them!

Fantastic experience: My hygienist, Shelly, is wonderful. Thorough, caring and friendly. I also love the dentists-very gentle and knowledgeable. All the office staff really care for your comfort and health and they are exceptional at customer service. It makes going to the dentist so easy (which I definitely appreciate!)
