I needed a semi-emergency Vist and they accommodate me promptly. From the moment I met the Dr she calmed all my nerves from a broken tooth ,she explained everything in a way i could understand. We were in the middle of looking for a dentist after purchasing a house in town. Everyone was professional, kind, and accommodating. After being a UPS man for 20yrs iv never met a team like this. Fantastic experience: From the time I checked in at the front desk to the dental cleaning with Claudia to the exam with Dr. D’Andrea, I received professional, kind and superb service. Claudia was very thorough. She explained everything very well and even gave me some helpful dental hygiene tips. I had a filling put in by Dr. Aglio. Her assistant was Nurcan. Dr.Aglio did a wonderful job. I hardly felt anything and she made sure that my bite was perfect. She is also friendly, professional and kind. Nurcan was professional and has a calming manner. It’s just a really great dental practice. I recommend highly!

I had an exceptional dental hygienist today named Claudia. She is excellent and I can't believe that she wasn't my hygienist in the past. Claudia is very intelligent, knowledgeable and is very willing to teach and instruct about how to care for my teeth. Before I even sat in the chair, she asked if I had taken my prescription pre appointment antibiotics. I take them since I had knee replacement surgery. So thorough of her to make note of that. Without the antibiotics, I can get a blood infection which might cause me to have even more surgery! Greatest dental hygienist ever!

Negative experience: Front desk staff is so rude. I can not emphasize this enough, they are awful to their patients. Plus, they have a revolving door of dentists. So from one year to the next you never know who you're going to see. I would highly recommend you go somewhere else.

Fantastic experience: I went in very anxious, as this is a new practice to me...and I've always been anxious about dental visits... I left feeling like it was a spa day. My experience with Dr. Morgan Ritchie for my two fillings was wonderful and oddly relaxing - if you knew me, you would agree my feeling relaxed in that setting is odd- but I did, and I won't be anxious when I return for my next filling and cleaning. Fantastic experience: I have been a patient at this dental practice for many years. Dr. Pantera was my dentist when I was in my 20s, and now his son is my dentist as I’m in my 60s. Everyone is incredibly friendly, and the office is clean and welcoming, filled with great people. I have no intention of going anywhere else. Although I have lived in Hamden all my life, I now reside in Trumbull, yet I still make the trip to see them.

Negative experience: Wow I just had a terrible interaction with the billing staff of this dentistry - have been a patient for over 15 years. They sent me a $6 bill and wanted payment. I called and suggested that they just wait until I come in next to bill me and not expect me to take time to call and pay over the phone such a tiny bill. I was just making a suggestion. The person on the phone kind of went nuts, interrupted me, and said they have hundreds of people with $6-8 bills and the insurance company is making them eat costs and so they have to bill people right away - basically yelling at me. Seriously considering moving to another dentist. Seems kind of crazy over there...not the kind of customer experience or professionalism I would expect from a medical office. Makes me seriously question other areas of their practice.

Each staff person was so gentle and kind when I explained my anxiety from bad dental experiences growing up that I truly don't experience nervousness anymore when I need to go in! The vibes are great. The staff genuinely enjoy one another and take time to make sure you are feeling comfortable and safe with each task.
