Positive experience: I have been going to this Dentistry for a couple years. Had an appointment today to be evaluated for replacing my filling. Doctor gave me my options and at the moment I had to go the cheap route. The assistance asked if he could do the filling instead of crowning it at this time, and put crowning off for a while. after assistance asked if he could do it today which it was 9:00am. His response was not today. I wonder if I would have said I'll do the crown, how would he have responded. I took that as if my little filling payment wasn't enough for you to assist today. Made me look at as an money thing.

Fantastic experience: The staff are professionals respectful and good take care. In front desk, she is very friendly. Always smiling and happy. Receptionist is wonderful smiles and respectful. Inside the Technician are professional and care you like queens. The Dr, professional. I recommend this place for ir my family and friends. Cindy is the best. Professional, kindly, friendly and knowledgeable

Negative experience: Office going down hill, was a patient for at least a decade. They canceled my appointment for insurance misunderstanding. When I left a review about the incident they billed me, didn’t specify what it was for. Charged me for the appointment that THEY CANCELLED!!!!!! WAIVED it, just to add on late fees for a bill that I’ve never received until my last review. Charlotte Denistry need to be investigated!!!

Negative experience: My husband has gone to this dentist for 30 years. I have been going around 19. May 2024 we made our 6 month appt for 9:00 am. November came we get the text and it was changed to 10:00 am without our knowledge. This was not going to work so my husband and I rescheduled for another time at 9:00 am. I called and left a message with the office manager. To this day no call was ever returned. They could not get us back into the office until yesterday 05/30/25. On Tuesday I said let me call to make sure no screw ups. Needless to say that was not the case. My husband appointment was at 9:00 am however mine was changed again to 10:00 am without my knowledge. I would be the first to say I LOST IT ..... I had to apologize to the young lady on the phone. What got me was we were totally dismissed. No consideration for people time or anything. How can you make an appointment for a time and change it without someone knowledge. If I accepted what they were doing with my appointment and not said anything. They will continue to do it. So on Thursday afternoon around 4:45 pm I get a text. My appointment was canceled due to the way I talk to the person on the phone. I was told that I could never come back. That was fine with me because they don't value my business anyway. This would have never happened if you handle the office business like you suppose too. All this tells me of VERY POOR mgmt. My husband canceled his appointment 30 minutes prior. We are having all of our files transferred to another office. He said it was because of him I was there in the first place. He would not go back.

Negative experience: Everything was fine until I tried to get a quote for new retainers. Called and the lady I spoke with on the phone told me "personally" she does not know how much it was and to leave my name and number and someone will get back to me with the amount. It's been over a month and nothing still. Had no issues during my treatment sessions.

Fantastic experience: I had an awesome experience at Charlotte Dentistry, I’ve been at this dentist for the past 20 years. They have the best staff and always professional at its best. I would recommend Charlotte Dentistry to anyone .

Fantastic experience: I have been a patient at Charlotte Dentistry since they opened many years ago. The doctors, hygienists, and staff people are always friendly, professional, efficient, and kind. I had another good experience there on May 2 with my six month cleaning and check up. My hygienist did a great job and made me feel comfortable. My dentist did a thorough checkup and said the words I hoped to hear, “Looks good, no cavities.” The financial office staff helped me enter my new insurance information over the phone the day prior so there was no delay when I arrived. I have already scheduled my next six month appointment. I truly appreciate Charlotte Dentistry.

Fantastic experience: The customer service experience is exemplary. I am always greeted with kindness. The care is always given with a gentle hand.

Negative experience: Poor communication. Over-billing and lack of response from the manager, Katrina. I was charged for x-rays at the dentist's office despite having initially declined them. I had scheduled the appointment in advance and was assured all required records and xrays had been provided to their office. On the day of my visit, I was informed the x-rays had not been received and would need to be performed in order to proceed with a cleaning. Although I declined the xrays, they were performed anyways and I was billed. I contacted the office multiple times over a 30-day period to address this issue. Each time, staff claimed they had spoken with Katrina, the manager, yet I never received a response directly from her. I would not recommend this office due to over-billing, poor communication, and a lack of patient-centric care. I suggest looking elsewhere for your dental needs.

Fantastic experience: Ive been a patient for over 20 yrs that should say it all! I recently had a dental emergency and was able to get a last minute appointment and 1.5 hours later I was back home!

Fantastic experience: I always have a good experience when I come to Charlotte Denistry. The staff is always smiling and very professional. The orthodontic team at Charlotte Denistry is fast and efficient but also thorough. The office is also clean, from the waiting area to the exam room suites in back office where treatment is performed.

Fantastic experience: Excellent care. Was able to get in for an emergency “away from home state” appointment. Front desk, xray and pre- appt nurse, and doctor were all very friendly and helpful/compassionate. Would highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: Cindy carefully reviews my x-rays and diligently checks my gums each visit. She is excellent at cleaning and helping me make sure that I know the proper ways to clean. Cindy schedules me out for several appointments to make sure they are available. I highly recommend Charlotte Dentistry and Cindy as a hygenist.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Dowling and Nettie were great in replacing my ancient silver amalgam filling and fragile tooth with a with a temporary crown. Dr. Dowling did this with ease and expertise. Nettie was also gentle while working in my mouth. Alexa, Nettie and Dr. Dowling comprise a great team. These are wonderful professionals.

Fantastic experience: I personally enjoy this practice and have been with these since the early 1980’s. Now my Children are their customers. I’ve experienced cleanings, fillings, teeth removals, surgery and invisiline over the years and do not have any complaints. Jennifer cleaned my teeth this time and it's been the best they've ever been.

Fantastic experience: I have been a patient here for over 15 years. The staff is amazing and they accommodate my hectic schedule when needed! The team is always helpful and makes me feel as comfortable as possible, which is a plus when you get nervous just thinking about a dentist! They are like family to me!

Positive experience: everything was fine but I was told they needed to take 8 or more x rays in addition to a panoramic full mouth one. I am not a big fan of x rays and the previous dental office used to take 3, 4 or 5 x rays not 8. It's common practice in many offices to take too many x rays and saying it's fine since they are now digital.

Negative experience: This is the worst dentistry place by far in Charlotte! They never stop calling me and just received a call saying I have a appt tomorrow when last year I made it clear I was no longer their client and I have a fantastic dentist at another practice, after Charlotte dentistry sent a bill 6 months later to my insurance with inaccurate information and had to create a 3 way call to get all that undo with the insurance company and this terrible dentistry practice. Then they sent me a random bill in the mail and until I called them they canceled the bill as it was false! DO NOT TRUST THIS PLACE STAY AWAY.

Negative experience: I have been a pt. @Charlotte Dentists for 20 years. Recently had such a horrible experience with new hygienist and physician Dr. Wolfinger who had extracted a tooth in March after a lost cleaning appointment I still have the card for. Results are a fracture tooth that had to be extracted. Has I been given my original appointment I would have kept the tooth. What was a cleaning w/insurance became a $3000 charge. Angry doesn’t describe how I feel.

However the dental hygienist was awesome while performing the routine cleaning. She also provided some helpful information that could possibly help with the problem I'm having.

Negative experience: If I could give it zero stars I would. Been going there for years, but now, I believe it’s been going downhill. You make an appointment, and what inefficiency to have the front desk person try to call everyone…. I digress. She never connected with me. However I received an email the said to call if you need to reschedule or cancel. Well since I didn’t need to do either of those things…. I didn’t call. The email said that my appointment was confirmed. Well when I arrived, I was told my appointment was cancelled! I’m like why?!!! They said because I didn’t call to confirm. Is that the craziest thing you heard? I took off work for that appointment. I showed them my email confirmation. I heard sorry a few times. I am finding a new dentist. It just revealed to me that it’s time to be at a place that shows professionalism and care. I also believe their hygienists are from a local school. They are clueless. It wasn’t always like that. But I’m out.

Positive experience: Great…until you have to cancel an appointment for an unfortunate circumstance and then you have to wait 5 months to get back on the schedule for a simple cleaning. Time to find a new place I guess.

Positive experience: Usually a good experience but the dental techs had a difficultly using the device for 3D Imaging. It took about 2-3 techs to get the images done and hopefully they are correct for building my partial. In the past, when images from my top parcel were done the tax had no trouble doing it, and it did not take nearly as much time. So I’m just wondering if they need more training or if they were just having a bad day.

Positive experience: First time going there was awesome. So much respect from everyone there who attended to me. WAs rescheduled to come back again in March. I got a call few days before my appointment and nurse said my spot wasn’t available anymore. So I gave her the time I was able to make it & she said she will reach out to me again and let me know. Next thing I saw on the original day of appointment that, “how was my visit there” and nurse never called back. That was weird but I hope they’d fix that.

Negative experience: Wish I could give it zero stars for lack of guest service. I have been going here for 10 years and will now be seeking a new dentist. They no longer call or text to confirm appointments and only send an email which isn’t a great option. An appointment that was made last July was cancelled today and they didn’t even apologize. Even when they did use to call or text and you confirmed, you never knew if you showed up if your appointment would even be upheld. They truly do not care about their patients and any dentist you see will give you conflicting advice.

Negative experience: I didn’t know ahead of time that this was a Christian practice that would be playing Christian music in the waiting room. I felt a little blindsided by that. I’m sure others are fine with that, but I wasn’t, so I won’t be going back.
