Positive experience: My experience was absolutely incredible. The only thing is after bringing my son there from Abington Emergency, he had to have surgery. Everything was until they say I have an out of pocket expense not cover by LEHB. I was upset and disappointed because they should had told me, but my son was in so much pain that I had no choice.

Fantastic experience: I am a new patient and CCED welcomed me and I felt safe and in good care. The office is very clean and modern with very friendly staff. Dr. Soliman was my dentist and he was very kind and gave me all the information I needed. Dr. Soliman also cleaned my teeth, which was a first for me; in the past i’ve had the hygienist clean and polish my teeth! I would recommend CCED & Dr. Soliman to anyone looking for a new dentist in the city!

Positive experience: re: Dental Care Went to CCED for tooth pain, and my face was just starting to swell and I wanted to address it right away. I had a wonderful experience at CCED. Each employee was incredibly gracious, kind, friendly, thoughtful--I was genuinely blown away, and so happy I chose CCED. The dentist I saw was prompt and very clear, no judgement or condescension. He created three separate treatment plans for my longterm care, and wrote a prescription for my infection and gave it to staff for my pharmacy to fill. I was in and out quickly. re: Dental Medication & Office Communication I left CCED in the morning, waited about an hour for the Rx to be filled, and then went to CVS. My script had not been sent. I called CCED, and the office confirmed they would send right away. I spent the rest of the day calling the office, but never reached anyone. The script was not sent for 24 hours, and now my infection, swelling, and pain are much worse. TL;DR: Wonderful and thoughtful dental care, inconsistent and frustrating handling of prescription meds. If you do go here, ask for a paper prescription, or have them call your pharmacy while you're present, especially if your meds are time sensitive.

Negative experience: If you want to go into collections, see CCDA. I did Invisalign with them in 2019. I was given a nightguard as part of that service. That nightguard broke and they offered to replace it free. Since then, I have been getting a bill for that "free" service for 6 years. I have called numerous times and they say they will take care of it. They never do. The letters threaten collections. The phone calls seem to not agree with that threat. In the last year, they won't pick up the phone, return voicemails, or respond to emails. Can someone from CCED please help me with this? It's been 6 years.

Negative experience: worst dental experience ever ‼️ on June the 11nd I called CCED that my crown broke off and that I developed an abscess and I need to see an emergency Dentist Yesterday ‼️ I was told by the representative the next emergency opening is on June 14th at 11am ( emergency 4 days later sounded like an oxymoron) ⁉️ After I gave my dental insurance info, I was told by the representative that I MUST pay a $ 50.00 retainer ‼️ arriving at the emergency dentist I had to wait 40 minutes until I was assigned a workstation, where I waited another 2 hours ‼️ While waiting with a massive abscessed tooth and pain level 10 I was harassed by salespeople trying to sell me the lastest implants and dentures ‼️ meanwhile waiting to see Dr Juan Cabrera a Quack of a dentist who never heard of the Hippocratic Oath, he and his sales team bombarded me with implant and denture suggestions , nobody even addressed the issue that I was in severe pain with an abscessed tooth needing emergency treatment .... .................. .. ..oye vehys Wondering aloud .......did those greedy unprofessional hacks have ever heard of the Hippocratic Oath⁉️ after 2 1/2 hours of waiting I was told by a CCED representative that my insurance is no good, and the extraction cost $ 600 ‼️ Wednesday the 11th of June everything was confirmed and I was told to pay a retainer of $50 which I did ‼️ living on a fixed income I could not afford to have the procedure done, I was dismissed in the most rude manner, without been given a prescription of antibiotics to avoid sepsis ‼️ in my 72 years I have never seen such a professional additude of carelessness, negligence and violation of the Hippocratic Oath ‼️ Return my retainer of $50 NOW ‼️ on top the scammers have the chutzpa to send me a bill of $250 for an X-ray taken before I was told my Aetna Medicare HMO isn't good ..... ......U dumbbells had 4 days to check my insurance coverage ......pls get Ur sxxt together ignoramuses ‼️ "Feh, mir kenen brekhen"‼️ FAZIT: bunch of goniffs all Glitz and no substance ‼️ ✌️ Gerhard Yitzhak Wanzen-Bock ps. in the end everything worked out my personal dentist Dr. Young ( Penn dental School ) a mentsh and old school professional of the highest standards ( office hrs only Monday and Tuesday) resolved the issue in less than 20 minutes ‼️

His assistant Kai was also a pleasure to work with. He talked to me the entire time, and helped me to relax. My procedure went well and it was done in less than a hr. Fantastic experience: Great place for dental emergencies. Staff was friendly and helpful. I needed replacement retainers after having lost mine and I was traveling and far from home. I was seen next morning and received my new retainers same day! It was pricier than usual but given the emergency and a solution, it worked out. Thank you!

Negative experience: Selected this dental office based on a family recommendation. The triage specialist was very kind and explained everything clearly. However, my experience started to rapidly decline after the Dr came in for less then 5 min, told me I had no other options but to extract a tooth. He said he would be back to discuss “my treatment plan”, but never returned. Instead, they sent in a random person with documents on clipboard, explaining that I would need to pay 3k (with MetLife insurance) to resolve my issue with my tooth. I challenged the person to explain in more depth the outrageous quote and he seemed frustrated by my questions. He kept saying that they offer financing and pointing to a third party company name on the document. As if my questioning of the breakdown of the quote, implied that I needed financial assistance. I felt very uneasy about the exchange and experience. Additionally, I asked multiple times if the practice was in or out of network for my insurer, and they couldn’t answer with a clear answer. I would encourage anyone visiting this location to ask more questions before authorizing any services.

Negative experience: Sell you expensive service because you’re in a vulnerable state. Tell you insurance will cover it. You believe them so you give them a ridiculous amount of money. They do the procedure and barely tell you anything about what they did. Then call you months later telling you the insurance didn’t cover it. And of course you can’t fight it because they quickly made you sign a slip that states you agree to the price being “estimated” and that you will cover whatever the insurance end up not covering. Hahaha just go somewhere else. Place is a joke.

Negative experience: I have no dentist here as I am from Europe but had 2 emergencies with bad toothaches.They got rid of my tooth both times with root canal.Gave me crowns.Really bad job, did not fit right and developed infection under the crown.Felt horrible pressure, many times pain -for a long time until the first one finally gave up and fell out 10 days later the other one next to it fell out as well. I have similar looking crowns for 10+ years what my dentist in Europe made and never had any issues with them, they feel like they are my own teeth. These 2 crowns from CCED gave me pain and fell out within a couple of years. I am just trying to fix all that damage and find a proper dentist. And they took thousands of $s from my insurance and me for all these horrible experiences!All they care about is the money, people are just numbers.

Fantastic experience: Today was my first visit. I was really overdue for an exam. The office was super clean! Everything was in its place. No screaming kids running around. The staff was nice and pleasant. Very professional. The young lady hygienist was very good and answered all my questions. The Dr. was direct and straight to the point. I have another appointment as follow up next month. I definitely was pleased with my experience. 7/8/23 Came in today for a routine cleaning and the hygienist was very nice and informative. I love my doctor. He’s always cool and friendly. I was actually able to make him laugh today. Great staff. Everyone is always nice. 5/2025 Came in today with so much pain I couldn’t sleep for 2 nights. I’m thinking it was a cavity but Dr. Carlos was like no sista your tooth is infected and the tooth had to come out. I had to pay out of pocket because my new insurance couldn’t be verified due to being closed on the weekend. The office worked with me and I was able to get everything done emergently today. I am very pleased and grateful. Dr. Carlos was great as was Ya who worked with him. Finally, I can get some rest. Dawn R

Negative experience: Paid over 1500 to get my tooth extracted!no problem right before the surgery a lady came in and was trying to get me to pay more money because she claimed my other tooth wouldn’t grow right! I denied got my surgery done went to my dentist a year later I still have a piece of tooth in my mouth ( why would I let u do more work when u can’t even do the one job correct? ) anyway called them over 6 times no call back so now I weigh my option on what to do and I’m contacting a lawyer

Fantastic experience: Dr. Joseph Solimon is amazing! He explained to me why I keep having pressure and pain and fillings on one side more than the other. I loved his practical approach! The team is awesome as well! They all helped with calming my nerves, explaining things and getting it all done! For an emergency setting, I am impressed at how smoothly they handled my care!

Fantastic experience: Very nice location in center city. The office is well decorated with a modern vide. Staff is welcoming and fun. Definitely a different experience than in use to, in a good way. I had two wisdom teeth pulled and i was in and out. Very fast and efficient! I will say they try to upsell you a bit but are very accommodating with adjusting the procedure to fit your budget! I will be going back to get my other two wisdom teeth pulled. Great experience!

Fantastic experience: I absolutely hate the dentist and I cannot deal with dental pain but center city emergency dentist took such good care of me. The atmosphere of the dentist is so comforting. I’ve never been so such a diverse dentist. The amount of black people employees here made me feel extremely comfortable. The patient service here is top tier Jenifer the office manager was amazing she answered all my questions about billing and had an amazing attitude. Now what really did it for me was mk she made me feel extremely comfortable. She’s so good at her job. She was working non stop from the moment I saw her. She gave me a blanket and made sure the lights didn’t make my headache worse. She deserves a salary increase for sure. Also Juan Cabrera truly has been gifted from god. I haven’t felt any major pain since getting all 4 wisdom teeth removed. I couldn’t have had a better experience. Thank you so much to all the staff there your hard work doesn’t go unnoticed and I will definitely be returning for all my dental concerns moving forward.

Fantastic experience: I had an emergency appointment with CCED since they are the only office open on Sunday in the Philadelphia region. The staff are nice, diligent, and efficient. Very satisfied with my appointment, the quick response from the doctor, and the detailed explanations that were provided for different treatment options. Prices are stated clearly and are all reasonable.

Positive experience: I’ve been a patient for almost 15 years. Today I had an appointment for a routine cleaning & a consultation for Partial Dentures. I was there for almost 3 hours. The young lady that had to do my scan for the partials took 45 minutes. When she finished she walked me to the front desk where I advised the lovely girl that I had not had my cleaning done. She said wait right here. She came back & told me to follow her. The girl that did my scan proceeded to clean my teeth. Said girl told me “oh I thought you were in a hurry”. I come pretty far because my sister & I absolutely love Dr. T & we had street packing with a Kiosk. Thankfully we did not get a parking ticket. I was very disappointed with the service I received today.

Negative experience: Very bad experience I had. We make 30 mn filling the forms after when the dentist received me he was not professional, He was more trader then a dentist.

Fantastic experience: They safe is amazing explained everything to me was I was so scared, they really calm you down and work on a good workout plan for your mouth. Fantastic experience: My experience at CCED was amazing! The office is beautiful and very clean. My wisdom had an infection that needed emergency extraction. Dr. Carlos did a dual wisdom teeth extraction for me. Dr. Carlos was very kind, informative, gentle and helpful throughout my process. I needed anesthesia due to the infection and swelling in my mouth and everything went smoothly. I went for a follow up two weeks later 4/6/25, and unfortunately ran into traffic and trouble finding parking, due to streets being blocked. I thought I’d need to reschedule appt, but CCED took me in and took care of me. Dental Assistant Yaseen was very helpful and pleasant and helped give me more information on further dental needs with CCED. Working with Dr. Carlos & Yaseen was truly a pleasure. I’d highly recommend CCED & the both Dr. Carlos & Yaseen to anyone. I’m very pleased and pain free!

Fantastic experience: Fantastic treatment!!! Dr. Carlos was fantastic. Since I didn’t need my tooth removed I wasn’t able to be seen the same day, but they worked with me to help with pain mitigation and plan my treatment going forward to ensure the problem is fully fixed. Ya was also so wonderful and kind! I appreciate the kindness of everyone here and the steps they took to make sure I’m comfortable while awaiting proper treatment.

Negative experience: First time visiting for emergency replacement of crown. Lots of Official looking-employees working there, but was confused about what their roles were. Dental assistant had me standing at a machine for over five minutes without alerting me to the fact that she couldn’t get the machine to work. Crown was re-adhered, but felt loose after waiting five minutes for the adhesive to set. Mentioned that to the dentist. And an hour after I left the crown fell off again.

Fantastic experience: Today I did return visit to CCED after failed visit on 3/23/25. No more sunday visits unless its Emergent. Jennfier and the staff and of course the Dr. did great job today. I went in with some anxiety but they relieved it and put on some Temptations Music in the background. It also helps that the Dr explains what he's doing as he's working in your mouth. I thought today's two extractions would be difficult but it was much easier then I imagined. Thank you Doc. My extractions require the expertise of Oral Surgeon. I had 11am appmt and was done by 12:30pm. The office manager jennifer and all the dental assistants are friendly caring peope. Fantastic experience: My treatment plan coordinator was Jennifer. Amazing. Nat and my were behind scenes setting the room up. Ya was my assistant and dr Carlos was my dr. When I first got here I was nervous and a bit anxious but the dentist really help calm me down and the pain was 7/10 but not to bad overall really nice and great people here I recommend everyone come here great place

Fantastic experience: I will preface this by saying: I HATE the dentist, avoid them like the plague. I haven't taken the best care of my teeth, so there is a lot of work I need done, but I usually wait until I am in pain to go because I usually have such a bad time. CCED was way different than anything I have ever experienced. I went in because I had a chipped tooth from my own fault (not getting a crown on a root canal for years) and a molar breaking at the core. I also still had my wisdom teeth in. I first saw an older male dentist and he just noted all the cavities, but told me that I probably needed to meet with oral surgery and they told me to come back at 1pm (which I appreciated, because it meant I didn't have to wait in the office). I returned and spoke to a really nice woman (didn't get her name) who assisted with the surgeon's procedure. She calmed me down a bit. Then I spoke with the surgeon who told me that he would need to extract the molar and because I would be going under, it made the most sense to also pull all of the wisdom teeth because they were rotting/had cavities. He also suggested a crown lengthening for my root canal tooth so that I could cap it even with the chipping. Before they did anything, I spoke with Jennifer Lopez (the office manager and one of the nicest people I have come across in general) who gave me a full list of my options which was quite pricey and I let her know that was out of my budget and I would need to decline the more optional procedures. The price came way below what I had expected to spend on 5 extractions/crown lengthening and I was really happy that I was not facing random upcharges/"consultation fees" that I had been required to pay in the past. I paid for the work I got done and only that. I had already eaten for the day so they rescheduled me for Saturday. On Saturday, I came in, and was greeted by all of the staff who remembered me. I wanted to make sure I got my weight correct because I was going under for the procedure and I know height/weight really matter and I asked around and they found me a scale to weigh myself despite it not being normal to ask for. I went in for my procedure and I was terrified (even for the IV) but Jennifer came in to hold my hand and comfort me and M.K. was great (she really can do it in one go). I was a bit uncomfortable with the IV in, but that's normal for me. M.K. and Jennifer and the surgeon's assistant (I didn't catch her name but she was incredible) all made sure I was doing okay while I waited. Surgeon came in, talked to me for a few minutes and got started. The anesthesia knocked me out good so I fully relied on my escort to take down the thorough information provided to me. I even came back the next day because I was worried I had already dislodged the clot - I hadn't because the surgeon had stitched me up back there. M.K. sat down with me to answer any additional questions I had and provided me with a doctor's note (with no appointment/or warning, I just came in and they came right to me). I cannot speak highly enough about my experience with every single staff member here. They all care, are calming presences, are not degrading at all about whatever stage of oral hygiene you are going through. But, they are also honest, and they are definitely not trying to make a quick buck off of you - they give you what you need and provide you with additional options if you want them. I moved away from Philly last year and was back in town visiting my boyfriend, but I would literally fly back to get dental work done here because dentists like this are hard to come by. Thank you sincerely for your service in showing me that not all dentists are bad.

Fantastic experience: Dr Cabrera - I was scared until I saw him and I than was ok. Jennifer I like a lot. She did my treatment plan. The guy at the front desk knew my name before I came in. Fantastic experience: The folks at CCED made my visit super easy and enjoyable. Dr. Carlos talked me through all my options and made sure I understood everything before performing a tooth extraction. Fantastic experience: Highly recommend this place to get an emergency wisdom tooth extraction. Dr Huergo is professional, clear with instructions, and helpful. The assistant, Ya, made me feel so comfortable and well taken care of. And Dee helped with the nightmare that is insurance.

Negative experience: Currently sitting in the waiting room waiting for my son to be seen as he has an 8:00 appt. Arrived on time, completed the necessary paperwork and waited until it was time to be called. While sitting in the waiting room, a walk in client comes in around 8:16 am and I could overhear how she needed to be seen for a broken tooth, was currently apart of a band that was performing in the city later that night and was highly recommended to visit this establishment. Within five minutes the walk in patient was being taken to the back while my son with the same issue continued to wait. I inquired from the front desk what was the reason and he stated that it appeared to be an issue with the insurance however it seemed that everything was fine. At 8:25 am, we are now being taken to the back to be seen. I will update this review during the process in order to provide an accurate review. As promised I wanted to update my review. After finally being brought back and being serviced by Dr Daniel and his amazing team, we were able to end on a positive note. Dr Daniel was very informative and did an excellent job repairing my son’s tooth. Although we aren’t quite finished with the repair, the temporary result was great. In addition,the receptionist Chardae did an excellent job interacting with us and provided clear information regarding my insurance. Thank you.

Appreciation to the finance lady who works with Dr. Cabrera, she took the time out to explain everything to me. Fantastic experience: My experience was Amazing .. the staff were all friendly and helpful. Dr. Huergo was fast and informative through the process and his assistant Yaseen was amazing. They all made the process very comfortable and the music was A1. I will definitely be recommending the facility.

Negative experience: Very Bad experience. They wanted to charge 5 times the price that they did 6 months ago for the same procedure. They charge up front includding panoramic X Rays, but then they only do whatever they wish and charge the same. It is a big SCAM be aware!

Fantastic experience: Doctor carlos ,ms d and dr yaseen did a amazing And i mean an amazing job …they made me feel safe and i did not have to get put to sleep …i cant exspress enough how they took good care of me ..i can’t believe it ..they really did a good good good job. Also thanks d dor making things affordable.

Negative experience: Worst experience ever. I entered with whole a lot of pain. They only talk about money I sat 1 hour and 40min didn't get any treatment so I walked away. Price too expensive

Fantastic experience: Excellent service and response time to my emergency dental issue. Staff was compassionate and my Dr. explained everything clearly. I needed emergency dental surgery on the spot and they worked with me to determine the best path forward financially. Highly recommend. Dr. Carlos Huergo was amazing as well as every staffer who supported him.

Positive experience: Dr Carlos Huergo and the staff was extremely professional. I was impressed with MK she was extremely informative and easy to talk to. The staff is young but very professional. I would recommend this office on the staff alone.Service and staff is top notched. Got me in and out. Personally I should have asked for my scripts to be sent to my pharmacy. 3 extractions First time at this office.

Negative experience: The worst medical experience I've ever had. I've never encountered so many unexplained bills in my life. They charge you for services upfront, and halfway through the procedure, they suddenly inform you that the cost will be three times higher. They bill at the highest rates possible just to max out your benefits. To make matters worse, both my husband and I were mishandled. He went in for one issue, and while they gave him a treatment plan, they also recommended pulling three teeth he had no prior knowledge of needing. When he returned to follow through with the treatment, he was told that his original concern, which was thoroughly discussed and was the reason he came in, was never addressed or even noted. We were promised a call on March 1st to resolve the situation, but that never happened. At this point, legal action seems to be our only option.
