Negative experience: The office starting calling to confirm my daughter’s appointment on Thursday. Friday I spoke with someone to confirm her 8am appointment for her 6 month cleaning at the Clinton location. I was sent the forms to fill out. I get there Saturday morning check in get to back and they have my daughter under another adults name. I am then asked questions regarding pain I told her she not in pain she here for a 6 month cleaning. I am then told they had her under some other type of appointment and they have no one to do her cleaning. As I’m being told that Alexis from Fenton family dental calls to ask if I wanted to reschedule I said why would I reschedule when I’m here with my 7 year old and I’m being told she was not scheduled for a cleaning, I’m then conveniently hung up on and never called back. Ended up leaving without any service being done. I was there at 8am with a 7 year old on a Saturday morning such an inconvenience so done with this place.

Negative experience: Unfortunately, I was not that happy with my 1st time experience. My appointment was at 4pm and I was not seen until about 4:45pm. The staff were really nice but once I saw the dentist, I felt like I was immediately being told all about what work I needed done to my mouth like a car salesman. I came to get my teeth cleaned and that took a shorter time than the long session of suggestions which were given prior to. Although I know that can be part of the conversation at some point, I felt it was too much for a 1st appointment. You would have thought that my teeth were in horrible shape. I will not be back.

Fantastic experience: My son, Ronald, had an appointment on yesterday, 7/7/25 and again it was an exceptional visit. The check-in was smooth with the front desk snd the wait time was short. Ronald was prepped, scans and X-rays were taken. Unfortunately, I don’t remember the young lady’s name but she was great. Ambrose, the hygienist came in and cleaned, fluoride and flossed Ronald’s teeth. There were moments of anxiety for Ronald but he got through the procedure. I was pleased with the cleaning. Dr. Odutola then came in and immediately brought to my attention a concern he had which no one had told me about before. This would require a consult with an orthodontist and he provided the name of one. I was pleased with his assessment. We’ll see where this takes us and go from there.

Positive experience: It was overall a good experience. It was a different feel from any other dentist i have been to. Not in a bad way but it felt like a bit much. This was my first visit so that's probably why. My only real negative is the dentist scolded a staff member while she was reviewing my xrays with me. Definitely was not a professional move on her behalf.

Now, turning to the service I received today, it was outstanding and a total 180. Everyone starting with Kayla and Alexis greeting to the funny Mr Terry that made the experience incredible. Leaving the best for last, MEZZY deserves a raise. Her professionalism and caring demeanor totally defused the situation and made me feel at ease. Clone her. PS I'll be back!

My hygienist was Tyi, she was excellent and professional as well. She let me know what she was doing and checked on my well being during the cleaning. Kudos for both.!!

Negative experience: Welp! Here we go…I have been going to this dentist for the past 5 years. Today was my last day. When I arrived to check I. The young lady at the front ignored me while she played around for a few minutes to get a paper clip. She then proceeds to ask personal information out loud for the other customers to hear. I had a scheduled appt. When I arrrived I was told that they attempted to contact me twice to reschedule my appointment. That was a lie because no one called me anytime to reschedule. I showed the front office the text message I received earlier today to remind me of my appointment for today. Of course when I showed her the text message she claimed it was sent out on auto reply. Yea ok how convenient right? I asked why are they trying to reach my appt that was made 6 months ago when I was at my last appointment. Young lady stated the other office closed for today. I asked for my hygienist name and she gives it but says she is working in that office today. Ok so if my hygienist here why can’t I been seen? Long story short I just ask for a new appointment day with my preferred hygienist. After 5 minutes of nothing I say never mind I will find a new dentist. Fenton Family Dental needs to do better. Start off by hiring friendly people who do their job. Sincerely a former customer.

The nurse and the doctor who waited on me, I really appreciate theirs service and friendly manner. I absolutely like this family dental office/service I received. Fantastic experience: Dr Hosch and his assistant Vanessa are very patient and professional. I have an inate fear of dentists. I am having 6 implants replaced after another dentist fitted me with them a few years ago. I hope these will stay in until I am too old to care ;-)

Fantastic experience: It was a busy Saturday and it took a while before I was seen. But once I went back, everyone was so pleasant and treated me as I was the only person there. I truly enjoyed my visit

Fantastic experience: The office staff is friendly minus one of the managers, Kenyatta. She was rude and non discreet regarding payment. I was asked to pay up front in full for a service. I advised I felt it fair to pay after my service was completed. I had already paid half prior to the appointment. The receptionist agreed and advised I could pay after my service. Kenyatta attempted to override the receptionist and loudly told her in front of other patients in the waiting area to tell the dr I didn’t pay. I have been a patient here for 8 years and referred many family members and friends. It was embarrassing I did not appreciate how i was treated.

Negative experience: Felt like I was being rushed, had to wait 45 min after I was scheduled to get seen for 10 min. Very quick cleaning just rushed through the whole thing. They try to give you x rays everytime you come, just seems money hungry. And the lady told me there wasn’t fluoride in toothpaste lol, yea I don’t live in Clinton anymore not worth the drive that will be my last visit there. I’ll be finding a new dentist from now on.

Fantastic experience: I escorted my mother to the Fenton 'Studio' office as she has mobility issues and needs assistance. The check-in and receptionist were extremely courteous and helpful. The dental tech that assisted my mother was charismatic and knowledgeable. It was a pleasant experience, despite it being the dentist office.

Negative experience: I would not go back. The assistant was annoyed that morning. Worst part the plastic was not properly placed on the devices they insert in your mouth and I could taste the metal while she was taking the xrays Then the scan they do she jammed it all around my mouth and under my tongue I could taste blood. Very unprofessional and I will not go back to the Studio site even if my dental work was free. The trays were rusted and paint peeling off the wall.

Fantastic experience: Courteous and compassionate in dealong with patients. They explained clearly what the charges are all about.

Negative experience: So today was my 3rd visit I believe. Although they’re usually great, the customer service was terrible at this location. I usually go to the location where Walmart is located in Clinton and they are awesome. This visit was where the Panera Bread is located in the shopping center in Clinton as well. I went for a cleaning and crown replacement, only to get a great cleaning but kept getting asked about getting a tooth implant or a bridge for my 2 missing teeth in the back from the dentist and the receptionist after I declined the offer both times. One of the dental assistants came to me a 3rd time stating I need to save my money and put to the side to get either a tooth implant or bridge or I’m going to lose my teeth. Like what? The teeth are already missing first of all and secondly I did not come here for that nor have the money for it. Please work on your approach with your patients as that was not cool. I went to my original dentist to get my crown put back on 3 days later with no problems and no payments, free of charge.

Fantastic experience: Everyone is highly professional as well as personable. Dr Hong works at making you feel comfortable. The various staff are superb in their care & treatment of patients. I feel quite fortunate to have found their practice. I highly recommend it!!

Negative experience: Was only there for a teeth cleaning and waited a hour and half to still not have my service so I asked to leave and reschedule because I had another appointment coming up soon and I did not want to miss that appointment. A true inconvenience because I drove from Baltimore for this service because I loved them so much. I never had a bad experience until now. I never waited that long for a teeth cleaning.

Fantastic experience: May 13, 2025 1:30p - Even when making the appointment the receptionist was reassuring me that the Fenton Family Dental was the place for me. Day of the appointment, the waiting room ambiance was calming, soothing, and jamming with my culture music. I could see the staff working together with love and harmony. The Xray Tech, was thorough and easy to take orders from. Dental Assistant (Ty) was just as thorough with helping me to understand the Xrays and the probable next steps. Dr.H, was easy to speak with. He used layman terms to communicate his concerns with my teeth, its past history, and future recommendations without twisting my arm and being a bully. The lovely Lady consulting me, used her time management appropriately, put me at ease with deciding on what is the next best steps for me to take, and explained how my insurance will compensate the next steps. Everything that happened to me at this office was phenomenal. Be very proud of this establishment and Im proud be one of your patients.

Negative experience: ATTENTION Dr. TOUSSAINT CRAWFORD. I’m not exactly sure what’s going on with this location. I’ve called 4 times, left several voice messages AND sent emails—STILL NO RESPONSE. The fact that I’m able to read in another review that someone had to physically come up to the location due to lack of response from Fenton “Family” is very telling of the downward spiral that is occurring with this location. I had a crown put on—and have had discomfort and pain and sensitivity ever since and all I’m told is “it’s a bite issue”, “there’s nothing wrong”—YOU all are the dentists and I as a patient am coming for a resolution and Instead I’m met with this continuous speech and push for an implants and the dismissiveness of the issues that I’ve repeatedly come for. The founder Dr. Toussaint Crawford needs to revamp the processes for this specific location. PLEASE RETURN MY CALL. Mr. Crawford it would be great to be seen by you to further investigate the issues expressed in previous visits! REF: SILVER SPRING LOCATION

Negative experience: My 89 yr old dad went here, only, for a denture repair but they 'persuaded' him into buying new dentures at over $5K out of his pocket. And after eight (8) visits (3/4, 3/6, 3/20, 3/27, 4/9, 4/16, 5/1, 5/12 and he has another appointment scheduled for 5/27), they still have not gotten the new ones where they are comfortable to wear. My dad still has to wear his old dentures. I don't know why they sent him home after his 5/12 visit, without making the dentures comfortable. But I will see that he does not leave their facility on 5/27 without getting his dentures 'right' or giving him a full refund. It has been an inconvenience for him to drive to this place [from District Heights] so many times without a resolution.

Negative experience: The worst experience with a dental office ever. My boyfriend was a patient, he was seen for pain in two teeth. After the initial exam he called back to schedule the extraction. The front desk employee was not very knowledgeable and didn’t seem confident in making the appointment. After scheduling the appointment for the following week, he took off two days from work to account for the appointment and recovery. Mind you absolutely no information is sent to him on how to prepare for the extraction or even what it’s going to cost he had to call and ask the day prior and there was no mention of a potential cancellation. ON THE DAY OF the front office calls and tell him they can’t do it because the doctor doesn’t have enough time. Mind you at this point he is in extensive pain, his face is swollen, he’s not eating or sleeping. Then they offer to reschedule for the next week. So unacceptable and unprofessional, this was a failure on multiple fronts.

Fantastic experience: Fenton Family Dental is our number one source for dental care. The staff is always polite. Hat off to my dental hygienist Tya, who was able to do a thorough cleaning on my teeth. Plus, Dr. Jones was very pleasant and truly enjoy working with Ms. Mezzy, who went above an beyond to help ensure my daughter receive the best card for the removal of her wisdom teeth.

Negative experience: Young lady did seem to be sure of what she was doing. Needed confirmation from another person. It was a painful experience for me. I asked for numbing medication but was denied. She was pleasant but I should have had someone more experienced working on my mouth.

Negative experience: My experience today was horrible. My appointment was scheduled for 3:00 PM. It was what they called an emergency appointment that I scheduled 2 days ago for a tooth that I’m having pain and thought my filling was cracked. I was not brought to the back until 4:00 after I went to the desk and stated I planned on leaving. Then they played the doctor is coming game and then nothing he couldn’t find the source of my pain and offered Motrin that I’m allergic to and the front desk person had to asked the doctor to give me a referral to the endodontic. I feel that doctors don’t respect your time. I gave two star because the front desk employees were great.

Fantastic experience: No issues or problems with customer service representatives at front desk. I met Dr. Han and he addressed a concern with front teeth I have and provided a solution. I only recommend Tye (at Studio location) for teeth cleaning. Tye is patient and understands patients with sensitive teeth her technique is fast.

Fantastic experience: The service has been excellent from the receptionist-dental assistant-hygienist-dentist. This was my first time using the service. I did have a slight problem booking on line, but when I called to confirm, the receptionist corrected everything. The Studio was so welcoming, pristine and modern. I was on time and had completed all my forms on line. The radiography was high tech. Every step was explained and my questions were answered. The dentist is preparing a treatment plan and I have another appointment in 2 1/2 weeks for more intensive treatments. Dr.Bibi was great. I'll update this post after my next visit. My daughter, son-in-law and granddaughter recommended Fenton to me. I recommend it to you.

Negative experience: The worst dental team I ever met! When I suggested the hygienist something he replied that is not my job. The whole team was just after my money like a mafia. I didn’t go to my dentist because she was fully booked so I went to this dentist FENTON FAMILY DENTAL I just wanted a dental cleaning, these team of thieves charged to my insurance an exorbitant amount of money just for a dental cleaning. This place is a clear example of how corrupt our institutions have become in this days.

Fantastic experience: This is specifically for "Fenton Studio"...NOT the original location. I will say if it wasn't for the staffs professionalism, understanding and exceptional customer service, this would have been my last time at Fenton. This is the 3rd time that the original location in Clinton has messed up my appointment or had me waiting beyond my appointment. This 3rd time was the last straw for me. Made my appointment a few weeks ago and even initially requested an appointment at the studio because of the good experience that my family had there and I wasn't aware that they had opened a nearby location, but I was told they didn't have anything available at that time so I made my appointment with the original location that I've been coming to for years. I haven't been in a couple of years because I was turned off and disappointed the last few imes that I made an appointment with them. Decided to give them another chance recently. I was early for my appointment and still did not get seen on time and was told that they were behind and they offered for me to go to the other location which is the studio. This definitely annoyed me as this is the third time that I've come to this location and have had issues or a long waiting time for my appointment so I decided to go across the street to the studio but I was also in the process of looking for a new dentist office while waiting. I know I came in a little irritated and unhappy at the studio office and that wasn't towards anyone that worked at that location but it was due to my irritation level and unsatisfactory of the original location.... wasted 30 min sitting there and then told I can go to another location to get seen sooner. Even though I was not too happy when I walked in because of the fact that I had to go to a different location, after waiting for a while, everyone there was very pleasant and nice and ensured that my visit with them would be a positive experience and that I would be well taken care of and they made sure to book all my future appointments only at the studio. I appreciate their customer service, patience and kindness towards me and their empathy and concern about me not having a pleasant experience prior to coming to their location. The staff at this location was amazing and if it wasn't for them and how well and professional they treated me, even though I was in an irritable mood, I would not have returned back to Fenton. I was referred to Fenton years ago and I loved my experience at the original location and even referred many of my family members but within the last couple of years, my experience with the original location and the service completely went downhill and I have not been satisfied. But thankfully the studio staff made it worth my inconvenience. Courtney did my cleaning and she was great! I can't remember the name of the other dental team member who prepped me, took my x-rays and booked my appointments but she was very nice and kind and helped bring my level of frustration down. She was great! I also love that it wasn't too crowded in there and just seemed like a completely different environment than the other location. So the STUDIO gets the 5 star rating....not the other location by the Walmart. Thank you and I hope to continue to have a great experience at this new location.

Fantastic experience: Let me start out by saying I have terrible anxiety when it comes to the dentist. I wish I got the young lady at the front desks name, but she was extremely welcoming and I appreciate that (3/18/25 @8am). Yaya took care of my X-rays and made me feel comfortable as well! She was very professional and patient with me. Portia took care of my cleaning and did an amazing job! She ensured that I was ok during the entire process and was extremely knowledgeable. Lastly, thanks to Dr. Hong who was able to let me know the next steps towards achieving my desired smile.

Fantastic experience: First of all I give all praise and honor to the Most High for such beautiful, hospital,and professional people and environment.Doctor Bibi and his assistant Marie did an awesome job pulling three teeth and filling three.they were finished and I didn't even feel nothing.The lady at the front desk Ms. Kenyetta ,I had ran into a misunderstanding and she was so professional and helpful and her team smoothed and worked that thing out.If caring about people was a person it would definitely be Ms Kenyetta,her team and doctor Bibi.Thank you all for making my experience at Fenton Family Dental in Clinton at the Studio wonderful.Have a blessed day on purpose.Sincerely yours John Shalom.

Fantastic experience: I had a great experience. The staff was very efficient. The dentist was gentle.

Negative experience: I would not recommend this dental facility. Bad experience once I walked in the door. My son and I had appointments for 1pm and 230pm. I received text and email confirmations, filled out all paperwork online ect. Get there staff stating appointment is scheduled for 2 and 230 and everyone is lunch. Showed the staff the confirmation email and text. They basically dismissed it. Made us fill out paperwork again after I showed screenshots that it was completed back in February. My son and I have different insurance. He is covered under his father insurance. Just because we came together after you see we have 2 different insurance cards including different insurance companies why are you trying to run my son under my insurance which now you are saying he is not covered. Smh. So now its 2pm and its so called time for my son to be seen. Just a reminder we have been here since 1pm. He is still not seen until 225pm. Im not seen until 245om. We did not leave there until going on 4pm. Also to add we were new patients. The staff is very unprofessional. The Dr. took very limited time and I feel just pushing patients through. Please choose another establishment if you do not want to be disappointed. Now I have to find us another dental group.

Fantastic experience: Everyone was very professional, nice and friendly. It was a delay in service but everyone was very polite in working around the time extension it took. I actually enjoyed the dental experience for a change. Dr. Jones is very nice and so is the rest of the staff, they made me feel very comfortable. 10/10 recommend!

Negative experience: I am done with this dental office. I had an appointment today at 4 for a cleaning and still wasn't seen for almost an hour and half. I ended up having to walk out with my teeth still not cleaned. Last time I had a visit, there was a long wait but this time was completely ridiculously and disrespectful. Respect people's time. Its bad enough that they stall time by doing a scan of your teeth that isn't necessary every time you come. I've never seen a dental office that is so unorganized, about 3 different staff people came to my room while I was waiting, then the hygienist who was supposed to clean my teeth started working on someone else. Don't waste your time coming here.

Negative experience: Bad experience with the hygienist Sandra.. ask for another worker if you get her. Ofc manager Ms. Mezzy did not make me feel any better taking her side before hearing my story. Sandra never looked at Xrays that YaHYah took. Sandra was working very aggressively working rough in my mouth. She almost snatched my root canal out using the cleaning pic until I pushed her hand. Why was she working and digging that hard for a basic cleaning. This lady is unprofessional & rude because she wanted to take her 2:30pm appointment before my 2pm appointment.. when I asked her how they going in front of me I got this bad treatment that made my mouth bleed.. I get my teeth cleaned every 6 months but she gave me a DEEEEP cleaning that wasn’t asked or paid for.. I reported her in 2021 & I requested for her not to touch my mouth ever again.. I forgot but I kept saying I know her.. then it clicked.. she was aggressive then.. & now…

Fantastic experience: My experience here is always very good! Maria and Dr. Crawford took very good care of me at my latest appointment, keeping me comfortable and updated throughout my appointment. All my concerns were thoroughly addressed and I highly recommend this office!
