Fantastic experience: I had an urgent dental need and needed to see a Dentist quickly. I called DGOA on Tascosa Road to make an appointment. They were able to see me quickly and accommodate my schedule as well. I usually have high anxiety when visiting a Dentist. I found Dr Shaw and his sweet assistant to be very friendly and knowledgeable, setting my nerves at ease. He had me in and out of there in no time at all with my issue repaired! From scheduling the appointment to checking out after my procedure, this was the best experience I have had at a dental office. I highly recommend Dr. Shaw.

Fantastic experience: In the past the experience my children had with dentist in Amarillo at their younger ages discouraged from having faith in starting over with a new office. Today my now teenage children put trust back into dental hygienist and owe this development to this office and those whom interacted with them both. Their immediate reaction to our visit today was expressed quickly upon leaving the parking lot. Honestly, the demeanor of those in the office encouraged my children to forget the series of unfortunate events of the past and look forward to long term care from the professionals at Dental Group Of Amarillo off Tascosa Rd!

Fantastic experience: Always have a great experience with Stepanie cleaning my teeth. She is careful not to hurt me and is pleasant and friendly. Ive had others do the cleaning when I couldnt get her but now I wait until she is free! Shes the best and very professional.

Fantastic experience: Absolutely love this office. Most people hate going to the denist and I'm just like the rest but, Dr. Brewton and Dr. King and staff are wonderful, friendly, professional, top notch when it comes to being clean, just all around terrific. I have been a patient of both for two years and had just about every dental procedure done in office. They cater to those who are anxious and nervous and never once was I hurt or dismissed because of pain level. I also take my son to this office. He is special needs, on the autism spectrum, and they handle him and his needs in such a way that leaves him actually wanting to come back. I highly recommend Dr. King and his office to everyone needing a dentist.

Fantastic experience: This was my first visit to the Amarillo Dental Group. Everyone was very friendly. My dental hygienist was efficient and explained everything to me. Dr. King also was friendly and told me in detail what services I needed. I did have to wait a bit to check out but my bill was thoroughly explained as to what insurance covered and what I would need to pay. It was easy to get my next appointment on the day and time I wanted. All in all a well run professional dental office.

She always has been very professional and polite. While in the waiting room I was not comfortable because of the program on tv. I realize the world is different than it used to be but there are still some of us offended by programs promoting homosexuality. Some people still are against this type of programming. Would rather you just leave the tv off. Please.

Positive experience: For the first time in many years I had to wait 20 minutes for my appointment. The technician was great! But the front desk was slow and unfriendly. I left without checking out because of the wait. She has still not contacted me to schedule the next appointment.

Fantastic experience: I used the live in Amarillo but moved out of state to KY. My wife and I don't trust anyone else with our teeth and will literally schedule dental visits here in Amarillo around family visits, because the staff here is incredible! Nice and professional. They won't play games with you or create issues that aren't even there. They are straight up and just very kind and professional. I would recommend this dental group for anyone and everyone! Parents bring your kids here if you don't want them to be forever afraid of the dentist.

Fantastic experience: When my 87 year old mom started having toothache and her dental crown fell off, I couldn’t find any dentist to get her in without waiting at least a month. Finally I heard of Dr Shaw and when I called his office he got my mom in the following day. He was intelligent, and knowledgeable. Most importantly, he was very kind to her and made her feel comfortable. He was very honest about her dental condition and recommended a very reasonable treatment plan. I will definitely start bringing the rest of my family to his practice for our dental care. I recommend him highly without any reservations

Fantastic experience: My dental hygienist is the absolute best I have ever had. My teeth are cleaner than they have ever been. I was worried because my previous dental hygienist left and she was the best. However, my new hygienist IS FANTASTIC!

Negative experience: The first visit was pretty good. When I came back for my second visit, I was treated so bad. I'm a kind and easy going person so the reason for being treated so rude by the staff is unexcuseable. I was ridiculed for something I wasnt explained very thoroughly about. Humiliated doesn't even begin to describe the emotions I felt walking out of there. Obviously other people get treated "well" at this office, but I've never had an experience at a dentist or any establishment.

Fantastic experience: Amazing experience went to get a cleaning for one of my kiddos but they were able to fit in my other child so I didn’t have to come at a later date. The hygienist was amazing with both my kids who aren’t big fans of dentist and the Dr was amazing too. Front office staff was friendly and courteous. All in all a great experience, this location is the best!

Fantastic experience: Thank you for working me in to have my teeth cleaned when I came in on the wrong day. The Receptionist was very understanding and polite. The hygienist was very caring and professional as she made me feel comfortable even I was not scheduled for today. They said someone had cancelled so they happened to have the time open. I would like to thank them for making what could be a bad day into a good one.
