Lalor Creekside Dental

Negative experience: I had invisalign at Lalor Dental and it was the worst experience. The dentist advised me that I would be in aligners for 9 months. I ended up in the aligners for FOUR YEARS, and my teeth are worse than before the aligners. He shaved between all of my front teeth, without warning, creating gaps "for movement." The gap between my front teeth never closed with the aligners, and he shaved unevenly between my front teeth. My enamel has thinned drastically from him repeatedly applying and removing attachments. My bite is uneven now, and causes jaw pain - my bite was not uneven prior to invisalign. It was an absolute waste of $6,000. I contacted invisalign and there is unfortunately nothing they can do. I do not recommend this dentist for invisalign at all. The cleaning I recieved was such a horrible experience. The hygienist was so rough during my cleaning that i had cuts on my gums afterwards, which has never ever happened to me during a cleaning. Would not recommend this dentist office at all.

Negative experience: If in need of anything artificial or cosmetic go absolutely anywhere else. The lab they use is not good at all and they will send you on your way with unusable products. You will lose thousands of dollars with no help or resolution what so ever.

Fantastic experience: Lalor Dental in Vestal is hands down the best experience I’ve ever had at any doctor’s office—period. Their customer service is top-tier, and the technology they use is next level. I seriously wish I had made the switch years ago. I’ve never been treated so well at a dental office in my life. WOW—I’m truly blown away by their service!

Negative experience: Had my wisdom teeth and a molar removed, and told them that I worked 12 hour shifts. They told me that 600 mg of ibuprofen is OK and then I should be able to get through my 12 hour shift with just that as somebody is 250 pounds. I called the next day and said it was so excruciating and felt like a headache in my jaw, they said they’re sorry that there’s nothing they can do. Don’t waste your time coming here. Griffin was the only person there who seems reasonable.

Negative experience: My wife just had an absolutely horrible experience with a tooth removal at Laylor dental in Vestal!!! Completely unacceptable! The dentist broke her tooth while attempting to remove it and then left the room to work on another patient. My wife was in extreme pain and said she swallowed lots of blood. They had to do extra X-rays to find the pieces of tooth still in her jaw. They also forgot to cover her body with the X ray blanket! Complete incompetence!!! I stopped going there years ago and have convinced her to stop as well.

Negative experience: This place is horrible. From over charging me twice to working on wrong teeth. They didn't fill in the teeth I told them too and they filled teeth I never told them touch. My teeth are legit ruined because of this horrible place. I tell the advisory lady and all she does is give me more bills. THIS PLACE IS HORRIBLE. YOU guys stole my money, overcharged me and malpractices. Working and pulling teeth you weren't supposed to. How do you even have a license ? Horrible experience, thanks for ruining my teeth.

Negative experience: 5 starts to Lalor Binghamton office as we switched to them from our local dentist, and loved everything about the Front St office!! However, my husband was referred to the Vestal Creekside office for a scan on a tooth he's having issues with. He had the scan 3/26/25 and on 4/16/26 we had a message that he needed to have a scan done as all the xrays done at cleaning weren't enough. I called and explained the scan was was done a couple weeks previous. The girl was going to check into it. Today, 5/1/25 I reached out again as we still haven't heard a thing and the tooth is now a constant issue. I was informed the endodontist hasn't even looked at the scan yet. Really?? 5 weeks later and it hasn't even been looked at?? Not as impressed with this office unfortunately.

Fantastic experience: Had my first appointment here today and I cannot stress enough how friendly and informative everybody was. I'll be recommending them to everybody I know! :)

Positive experience: Friendly people, however very pricy. Also, they waited until after I was injected with novacane to prep for extractions to then present an invoice for a costly coinsurance. The manager, Sarah, did resolve the issue and handled the unfortunate situation well. Definitely would still recommend going there, but make sure you ask them to make you fully aware of your out-of-pocket costs

Fantastic experience: Would highly recommend this place! Great place, reasonable rates, great service, wonderful staff!

Negative experience: You shouldn't have to have a consult for whitening just to be told how far out they're booking. Just another business looking out for their pocket and not the best interest of the patient.

Fantastic experience: It's been over two years since I had the multiple implants and I thought it may be a good time to see Dr. Joe Lee for a check-up. Today's appointment with Dr. Joe Lee went very well! Dr. Joe Lee checked all my implants carefully and they are all in good conditions. He also checked one of my natural teeth which he did some repair work over two years ago. He explained his approach very clearly and it was easy to understand. I am still so grateful that the tooth he repaired lasted so long! I sincerely want to thank Dr. Joe Lee and his assistant April for their time and care! Every time when I see Dr. Joe Lee, I can feel he takes good care of his patients and you are in good hands! Highly recommend Dr. Joe Lee and Lalor Family Dental! Following was the review I posted over two years ago. ******************** Truly five stars and highly recommend Lalor family dental and the implant center lead by Dr. Joe Lee. I had total five implants performed recently including a bone grafting and all surgeries went very well. Dr. Joe Lee is highly skilled and has a great and caring team. I started thinking about implant 2 years ago and had been hesitating and not sure where I should go to get it done. Now I am very glad to say that I have found the right place and the right Doctor!

Negative experience: Update 5 years later: I've had nothing but problems with the *14 fillings* they said I just had to have (surprise, I didn't). Most have failed by now, and multiple dentists have looked in my mouth with confusion. (One even asked, "What was he even trying to do here?" referring to one of the fillings.) They didn't even leave space for me to floss between some of them. Now I'm on a never-ending carousel of needing $2k of work every year and will probably lose my teeth way earlier. Thanks a whole lot, Lalor. I guess the work itself didn't deserve anything close to 4*. The dental work itself deserves closer to 4*, but communication is seriously, seriously lacking and leaves you feeling like you're a big wad of cash on a conveyer belt. It took almost 2 months just for the sedation dentistry scheduler to call me back to set up an appointment, despite me calling weekly to see where the process was at. I was very clear with them that I have extreme anxiety, especially when it comes to IVs, and would need the maximum dose of pre-medication they could give me. They gave me 0.25mg of triazolam (with no information on when I could pick this up, I had to call several times for an answer) and when I was hyperventilating and having a panic attack in the chair, asked me what they could do to calm me down. Uh, give me more like I had insisted I needed? On top of that, at no point in the 2 year process of setting up this appointment did ANYONE tell me it was only twilight sedation. That alone caused a panic attack when I found out from my mother the night before. Not cool. I have emails from a year and a half ago asking what sedation meds would be used that were never answered, as well as many phone calls that were never returned. Luckily, they didn't use anything I have a paradoxical reaction to. I had never had a tooth extraction before, and I was given 0 information on what to expect or how to take care of it or what I'm able to eat. Absolutely nothing. It's obvious that all they care about is getting me in the chair and the $3,000 out of my pocket. Stress-free sedation my ass. One day later, I'm also already going back to have a bunch of sharp edges shaved down because my tongue doesn't fit in my mouth anymore. If you like to be informed of what's going to happen to you, and/or value communication, save your money. The experience at a routine cleaning appt is wonderful, but if you have severe dental anxiety, keep the above in mind. If sedation dentistry wasn't so hard to come by, I would've canceled my appt long ago.

Negative experience: I wouldn't even give the implant center 1 star , the implant center at vestal Lalor is the worst experience I have ever had .... I had Dr.Joe tell me he won't work with me because I don't do oral care at home (which I do ) and I need to watch YouTube on how to floss my teeth and that somebody needs to tell me the truth about my teeth .he also said in a rude tone that I need to suck it up pretty much and just get the work done (cleaning ) Until I can prove to him that I can brush my teeth then he'll work with me . I cried sitting in that chair and he had no words other than mean ones to speak . I was hurt . As a person who fears the dentist you need to treat people with kindness and Dr Joe did not . Dr bob has done all my work on my teeth and I feel as if he know what was said he would be upset , I will Never return to laylor . I am disappointed in the way I was treated I felt like I was trapped and couldn't get out of there fast enough . He belittled me and made me feel Awful about myself and my teeth . So thank you Dr Joe for being a jerk ! DO BETTER LALOR !

Negative experience: My husband who always had regular cleanings done went to lalor since our insurance changed. They insisted on doing a procedure before the cleaning that he didn’t want to do.( never heard of it before either) They denied and refused to do the cleaning without that procedure. He never went back. In my case, a hygienist started taking x-rays with a device in my mouth. That device was really hurting me. I told her at least 5 times that it was quite painful. She didn’t care less. I changed our dentist.

Fantastic experience: My daughter was in tremendous pain, and the earliest her dentist could see her was a few days out after they canceled 5 times on her in a month span. We left a message needing an emergency appointment on Friday night after hours, hoping to get in Saturday as they are only a few places open on a Saturday. They called us back first thing Saturday morning, and we're able to get us in their Vestal office. Super well organized office forms were emailed to us beforehand, which made it easier. Excellent establishment with friendly receptionist to friendly hygienist and dentist.

Negative experience: I am not a fan of leaving negative reviews, but if my review helps even one person to not go through the pain and cost that I’ve gone through, then this is worth it. I’ve been going to Lalor for years. The majority of my time at lalor was great. Up until this past July, all I ever needed was cleanings and fillings, but that is where my positive view of Lalor stops. This past July I had a tooth crack. I wasn’t in any pain and Lalor was able to get me in the next day. I was told that I could either have a filling or a crown done, but because of the location that if I had a filling it would most likely need to be redone over and over throughout its lifetime. Lalor recently stopped accepting my insurance.Although I knew it would cost me much more out of pocket. I reluctantly decided to go with the crown. I was told that the procedure went well and was scheduled to have the permanent crown put on. After the procedure I was still in a lot of pain. I gave the tooth time to see if the pain got better, it did not. I called in and expressed that it did not feel right and was told that “sometimes temporary crowns hurt more than the tooth did before” and that I would have to wait until my next scheduled appointment. I went through my entire family vacation in pain needing to take pain medication every 4 hours just to be able to function. I called Lalor when I returned from vacation again. This time I was able to speak to the doctor who told me that it probably just needed a bite adjustment. I was told the x-rays looked good and that the procedure wasn’t anywhere near the root, so that shouldn’t be an issue. They had me come in and they adjusted my bite. As you can imagine, this did not fix the problem. Finally when I came back for the permanent crown it was determined that I needed a root canal. At this point I was very upset. I came in for a cracked tooth with no pain, paid out of pocket for a crown, and was now being told that I needed a root canal. I chose to schedule the root canal at the end of September and had it performed. Again, I was told that everything went “great” and that my problems should be over, but unfortunately, as you can imagine, that is not the case. Ever since I had the root canal, I still have feeling in the tooth. I have been in multiple times for bit adjustments, all of which have not solved the issue. I finally decided to get a second opinion. I was told that what is happening is not normal what I am feeling right now does not warrant a second root canal, but that most likely at some point, I will need another one. In summary: Failed cracked tooth repair/crown: $1,437 Failed root canal: $1,111 Second root canal: ? If you only need cleanings or fillings, Lalor is great. If you need major work, go elsewhere. It’s not worth paying that much money for subpar work.

Fantastic experience: The best dentist I have ever been to. Was very nervous pending some more invasive dental work and not only did they make me feel much better, they were quick and absolutely painless. They even had me in on Christmas Eve. This dentist cured my fear of the dentist!

Fantastic experience: I had an old filling break and part of my tooth broke off with it. My dentists told me I needed a root canal and they don’t do molar root canals. We found Lalor Dental on our insurance page. They got me scheduled quickly. I was nervous about getting another root canal, I have had 2 failed ones. They took lots of FREE X-rays and evaluated my tooth. They were honest with me and told me the root canal was too risky and we opted to have it pulled. I was so nervous! They were amazing!! They made me feel so comfortable and the extraction was the best it could possibly be! I highly recommend these guys for MANY reasons!!! They made me feel comfortable from start to finish!! I will be switching to them for all of my dental needs!!!

Fantastic experience: I was very apprehensive for my last emergency visit. Dr. Josh Cherian & Justin had the friendliest bedside manner. They put me at ease and I was pain free in no time at all. Love Lalor Dental.

Fantastic experience: The Vestal office has always been good “listeners” to help us navigate any issues! We had a Thanksgiving issue that needed attention the day after Thanksgiving and it was resolved painlessly!

Fantastic experience: Lalor’s is a lifesaver!! My last visit was a bit of an emergency, and pretty painful and they squeezed me right in! I would have had to wait about a month to see my out of town specialist but they squeezed me in that same day! I know if I ever have any problems, Lalors is there! The staff is always incredibly kind and understanding. As someone who once had a phobia of the dentist, I now look forward to the exceptional care of Lalor Dental!

Fantastic experience: My first visit was in November and I was pleasantly surprised with how nice the office is. Erin is my hygienist and she was wonderful. Everyone was very professional. Unfortunately it seems like there is quite a wait for the Endodontist to review records since I still haven't received any word back yet, but otherwise I'm happy to have switched to this office.

Fantastic experience: I can’t say enough about how grateful I am for Lalor Dental in Vestal. Before Lalor Dental I was petrified of going to the dentist due to severe anxiety. So much so, even though I was in so much pain I didn’t go to the dentist for quite a few years. My physician suggested Lalor Dental due to their wonderful reputation working with people with anxiety. On my first visit to the Vestal office with Dr. Mandiga, I began to relax. She just had an amazing calming effect on me. Since then I’ve had 6 appointments and I now have almost no anxiety about having to go. From the receptionist, to the assistant, to the dentist, everyone is so kind and caring. I cannot speak highly enough about the quality care that Lalor Dental offers their patients!

They even provided a warm blanket because I was cold from air conditioning. I love the high tech equipment they have. Fantastic experience: My son and I had our regular cleaning last December 6th. Coming from a 12-hour shift in the hospital, my hygienist made sure I was comfortable and treated with the best service! I think she has always been my hygienist and I truly appreciate how thorough she is with her work. I walked in the most tired healthcare professional and went out like a pampered Queen! Fantastic experience: Had my first appointment at Lalor in Vestal a few months ago and it was a great experience! Everyone was so kind. I had gone through a rough experience just prior and it came up during my cleaning. The hygienist was absolutely amazing and comforting and truly cared. She later even sent me a card in the mail and it touched my heart. We truly need more people like this woman in the world- genuinely caring individuals. I am not one to enjoy dentist visits, but honestly this visit helped me in ways much more than just clean teeth and I am forever grateful. I would definitely recommend Lalor- especially if you are looking for a warm, friendly environment!

Fantastic experience: I met with Tung 2 weeks ago to start the process of having my dentures adjusted to fit my mouth properly. He was very informative and professional. I am praying this process works since having my teeth pulled and I can wear my dentures very soon.

Fantastic experience: We recently moved and wanted a new Dentist closer to home. We called Lalor creekside vestal and they were so friendly and accommodating on the phone for my husband and I. The dentist can be stressful sometimes but the entire visit from start to finish was a breeze. My hygienist was very friendly and explained things well. I really enjoyed my visit at Lalor creekside vestal.

Fantastic experience: Lalor dental and all their staff are amazing. I live in a hour from the Vestal office and the staff are more than worth the drive. I wouldn’t want to see any other Dr than Dr Sina or hygienist Megan they make you feel so welcome and comfortable. I bring my whole family to that office and my little to Dino Dental now

Fantastic experience: I had a bad tooth that had been filled. The filling broke out, then more of the tooth and it got an abscess . I got a next day appointment! Dr.James Jeong extracted it VERY quickly and without incident. He is one of the best dentists EVER! THANK YOU Dr.James Jeong DDS and thank you Lalor Family Dental! God bless you all!

Fantastic experience: Dr. Kevin Lin is absolutely amazing. I have a huge fear of the dentist and get anxiety attacks when i have to go. Dr. Lin has greatly lessened these attacks. He is gentle, highly knowledgeable and explains everything you ask. He was very gentle and i didnt feel a thing. Highly recommend him!

Fantastic experience: Lalor Dental is second to none. I had a crown fall out on a Monday morning. I phoned their office to make an appointment, fully expecting to wait a day or two. I had the crown back in before lunch. You won’t find that many places.

Fantastic experience: Melanie did a great job cleaning my teeth, and the doctor who did my exam was also very nice and professional. I had questions about teeth than need further attention, and they both gave honest and practical answers. My experience at Lalor Dental was very pleasant, especially since going to the dentist is not actually one of my favorite things.

Negative experience: I saw two dentists here. Seven months ago, I was told my small cavity hadn’t gotten any worse in a year, but last month, a second dentist who seemed inexperienced suddenly said it was so bad I needed a big filling. Didn’t buy it, so I took my records to another practice for another assessment. I won’t go back again. The staff were excellent though.

Fantastic experience: I had good experience so far, their office is very organized, appointments are always on time and they explain the treatment plan beforehand. Nice reception area with beverages and cookies.

Negative experience: Have had multiple issues with the billing department here. I have all statements showing that my account has been paid up to date, and then they try to tell me that I owe them more than 1100. On top of that, when confronted with the fact that they screwed up my account, the girl on the phone acted like I had no right to be angry. I've spent more than 10k fixing my mouth over the last year, and their ineptitude has cost them a patient. I will be returning to Riveraide Dental, where they don't try to commit fraud by double-charging people

Fantastic experience: My name is Marly and I had a tooth extracted today. I had severe pain yesterday after eating lunch. I called my dentist office to find out they no longer worked with my insurance. After looking up in network dentists that did work with my insurance, I came across Lalor and after a short hold on the phone I was able to explain my predicament and was given an appointment the next day on a Sat. They emailed me some paperwork which was easy and convenient to complete. Upon arriving I noticed a very clean a kept building with a nice sized and smooth parking lot. Once at the front desk I was greeted with a smile and made to feel welcomed. The wait was less than 5 min.( I was a 8 am appt I believe one of the first so I’m not sure if that’s a standard wait time or not) I was greeted by Griffon who was so professional, kind and understanding. He was able to ease me into everything and made sure to explain everything in a way that was comforting. I then had the pleasure to meet Dr Terry Howie.(not sure on the spelling) He was also very professional and understanding to my situation. I felt like I was apart of a team and not just having things done to me. They moved at my pace and never once did I feel like an inconvenience. I have already recommended them to my family and friends. If you are able to get into Lalor, I 1000% recommend Lalor Dental in Vestal NY. Thank You So Much to everyone who helped me today. I will continue to drive the 30 min to receive this quality of care.

Fantastic experience: I have great anxiety about going to the dentist!! And would be the reason I need more dental work than would be necessary if I would actually just go on a regular basis!! I had a bad experience with a previous dentist back in June and she referred me to an oral surgeon, citing that it was difficult to numb me. I knew that wasn’t the case as I’ve had other extractions in the past. So I decided to get into Lalor to see what they could do. AMAZING staff!!! The whole place has plenty of staff. Competent and such caring staff!!! My initial visit was with Dr. James. A young dentist (not in experience) but very competent and put me at ease immediately. The hygienist was gentle with X-rays and very compassionate. The place was so amazing I started to tear up, just bc I felt they understood my anxiety and was doing everything to make me comfortable. I made the appt for the extraction and went to the Binghamton office so Dr. James could do it. He took his time with the numbing process and the extraction was a breeze!! (They had their oral surgeon ready just in case he was needed, based on my previous dentist’s referral). I have others needing to be done but I’ll have much less anxiety about it now that I’ve had such a positive experience at Lalor!! HIGHLY recommend!!!!!

Fantastic experience: My visit was for a cleaning and examination as a new patient who just moved to the area. The Hygienist was very professional and proficient in her duties and made me feel very comfortable. From what I can tell thus far, their practice is conservative in terms of doing work that is really necessary.

Negative experience: They decided 13 yrs of loyalty wasn't enough. Military insurance Delta didn't pay enough, so unless we made up the difference, we didn't need to make our next appointment. Greed is more important than taking care of a 23 yr. Retired veterans family.

Positive experience: Lalors automated txt messaging system, personal txt messages and phone call reminders for appointments are obnoxious and borderline harassment. Don't bother asking to be put on their no call/txt list because it's up to them if they feel like honoring it or not. Also, hope you don't have to speak with the hygienist supervisor Anne in the front office because she is a nasty and spiteful old lady. As for the actual dentists and such in the back they are true professionals of their field and would rate them 10/10!

Fantastic experience: Dr. Toloue and all the hygienists here are wonderful. I have a lot of dentist anxiety and have felt so comfortable here. Kind, compassionate, and high quality care.

Negative experience: I've come to Lalor a few times and my latest experience was terrible. Few reasons why. Background: Came for a single wisdom tooth extraction, Dr. Mandinga had done it and afterwards was advised to use warm water and salt. Issues: 1. A few hours after I came home, my tooth extraction site hurt like absolute HELL and when we contacted the office they told me there was nothing they could prescribe to help me with the pain. They only advised me to use Tylenol and Advil, warm water and salt. I have a high pain tolerance and this pain let me tell you was extremely terrible. After using what they suggested, it did absolutely nothing to help so I had to go to a doctor to get controlled substances and antibiotics prescribed. Why would you pull a patient's tooth if you do not have a doctor able to prescribe medication in case of extreme pain? This is a failure on Lalor, why should a patient suffer like I did? 2. My insurance was out of network and I was told Lalor would handle the claim being sent to my insurance provider. They submitted two claims for the same procedure and both were denied as they did not attach x-ray imaging. I spoke to multiple Lalor representatives who all sucked. They weren't able to field my concern quickly and passed it around. Its been over a month and they only now after I've chased them down submitted the claim correctly or so we believe. I last spoke to a rude representative named Kara who denied they did anything incorrectly even though they did submit the claims incorrectly according to my insurance as they did not submit the x-ray imaging twice and both claims got denied. I don't like this kind of service and I certainly won't be back. DO NOT RECOMMEND.

Negative experience: Last time I was there, they tried to bait & switch me into a procedure that cost several grand more than I was initially told. When going over the dental work that was planned to be done. They said they'd be doing on work two teeth. one was the wrong one. As in, not even in the same area of the mouth. They altogether forgot another tooth. Even after I addresed this several times. They kept saying the plan was to do the previously undiscussed work. Ultimately I had to walk out of my own appointment because I couldn't trust them to not do irreparable harm and overcharge me for the privilege.

Fantastic experience: AMAZING practice! Dr. Amir Toulouse and his assistant John were wonderful, as were all the staff I encountered during my visit for a dental emergency. They were kind, professional, skilled, and even interjected some humor into a painful and anxious situation for me. They were sensitive to my fear, explaining every single detail along the way with my treatment. They did all this on top of me being a new patient, not turning me away in while in severe pain. I’m so grateful, and can’t speak highly enough of these guys. I’m 47 years old, and this is quite literally the best practice I have ever been to. If you’re on the fence and looking locally? Book an appointment here, this is who you want!

Fantastic experience: amazing place to go and thee workers are great. They worked with me and did a dental plan and I didn't have to fight to get help. They deserve more then 5 ! Definitely a place you wanna go if your insurance is playing games and don't wanna pay.

Negative experience: In summary, they don't care about your time or your teeth. Save yourself the hassle, the headache, and the toothache and find a different dentist. I can't say enough how poorly managed and careless this place is. My husband and I have been going to the Vestal location for over a year and nearly every time we interact with the office, it's a frustrating mess. First it takes forever to get in for an appoinment - plan on waiting close to a year just for a cleaning and 2-3 months for a filling. I had a few fillings done a few months ago and ended up having to go back in becuase I was flossing my teeth a few days later and realized they drilled into the tooth next to the one they were filling too. When I went in to have this addressed, I had to explain nearly 3 times that I was talking about my front tooth and not one of my molars that also had fillings. They took x-rays and sent me on my way assuring me there were no issues. To this day I still have sensitivity flossing my tooth there becuase there is quite literally a divit into my tooth where they carelessly drilled away with no resolve. Now today I went into the office for a long standing appointment I had scheduled only to learn that my insurance was no longer in network. So if I wanted to keep my appointment I would have out of pocket expenses. I can't for the life of my understand why I wouldn't have been informed of this change in my coverage before my appointment, especially when appointments are in such high demand for the office. I was given no true answer other than "you should have and we don't know why you didn't". My husband lucked out not to have the compromising teeth issues I did, but at his last appointment he checked in and was sitting in the waiting room where he received a call from the office asking if he was going to make it to his appointment on time. Just doubling down on how disorganized and poorly managed this place it. Just don't.

Negative experience: As a new patient first impressions are the most important. Everything was perfect at first, my wife had great things to say reliving my trust issues from past other practices. The impression that was left with me...either pay the price or have a nice day. I have been suffering with tooth pain for about long enough, hoping for a fairly quick visit to just have a tooth removed. Dr. F mannerisms were not great, did his "exam" and stated the front desk would finish up, leaving so quickly I had no time for questions. I dont even think his chair had time to warm up! And when I had questions at the front desk he wasn't available. I was given a treatment plan way out of my budget, then given 2 more even further out of my budget. Expressing the concerns for pricing...a 4th treatment plan was presented that was still in the thousands. Expressing that concern once again over the phone, it was stated if they could do anything more to just ket them know. So in the long run...have tooth pain? Lalor will give you the most pleasant run around in the area and send you on your way with two options, take it or leave it. I believe the new patient questionnaire stated something about trust and budget...two of the most important things in my book...blew both right out of the water. I will pull the tooth myself if I have to before ever stepping foot in that door again! Please new patients be aware and don't let the bullying discourage you.

Negative experience: Absolutely deplorable. UPDATE: so when I originally posted this negative review, it was because they canceled my appointment without my consent after they found out that I didn't have dental insurance. My boyfriend who does have dental insurance had already been there for a cleaning and fillings. Fast forward about 6 months, and my boyfriend had another appointment for a regular cleaning. When he got there for his appointment, they informed him that they no longer accept his insurance. Instead of going through their files and calling or texting all the patients whose insurance that they no longer accept, they will make you drive all the way there to find out. The customer service is absolute trash. I can't stand these people. If you are looking for a dentist, do yourself a favor and call finger lakes family dental in painted post instead. Dr. Marzo and her team are very nice and they will work with you to find financing solutions and provide cost transparency if you don't have dental insurance. It only cost me $123 for a cleaning, xrays, and a consultation to make a plan for all of the dental work that I needed to have done. Lalor will charge you $200 for a cleaning.

Positive experience: I had Ellen for my hygienist this time. She gave me the absolute best cleaning I’ve ever gotten!! She was so thorough. She was the only hygienist who flossed under my bridge. I’ve been a patient for many years but never had the privilege of being her patient before!! I said I definitely want her again in 6 months for my next cleaning…. Then she said in May she was retiring! NOOOOO!! Well I’m actually happy for her , but bummed for me!!

Fantastic experience: I have been going to Lalor Dental for over a decade. Every time I go to the office I am always treated with care, respect and professionalism. The staff is always friendly and truly listens to my concerns. What I love most about the dentists there is that never pressure you into having a treatment done that is not medically urgent or necessary. I respect and appreciate that so much because medical transparency is so important. I recently had Dr Mark do and extensive root canal for me and it was such a surprisingly pleasant experience (hard to believe I am saying this about a root canal!). She made sure I was comfortable the entire time and explained to me what she was doing to help alleviate my anxiety. She did a great job! I also recently had teeth whitening done at the Vestal office by Stephanie and my results are phenomenal. I had teeth whitening done at other local dental offices and this is unparalleled experience. Fantastic experience: I recently switched to the Vestal office because my insurance dropped my old provider. The Lalor office is nice, clean and professional. I appreciate all the smiles, and the hygienist whom I saw was friendly and understanding. She was very informative and there was no pressure to do some thing I wasn’t planning. They worked overtime to make sure they reviewed my folder and scans from the previous provider. I really enjoyed meeting the dentist as well, and they provided complementary scans to complete my intake!!! WOW! I plan to continue my treatment in here! The giving attitude towards the local community is also such a blessing.

Fantastic experience: I always had a fear of going to the dentist with so many bad experiences from other places. This place makes me feel completely comfortable. I’ve had a root canal , crown and two fillings done so far and they explain the process, they make you feel comfortable, the staff is friendly and I feel trustworthy in their hands. Fantastic experience: First time here. Hadn't been to a dentist in many, many years for various reasons. Had a loose, painful tooth and just kept putting it off. They scheduled me but then I ended up with an earlier appointment due to cancellation. Everyone was friendly and helpful. I was a total nervous wreck but Griffin was very patient, understanding, and helpful. He explained everything before or while doing it and nobody tried to talk me into something other than resolving my current issue. Dr. Mandiga was the best! She was also patient, gentle, understanding, and took time to verify with my other healthcare offices that certain things should be done before proceeding. The best part was I didn't even feel the numbing process OR when she actually pulled my tooth! And no after pain or adverse reactions at all!! So happy. Even have another appointment. They verify and bill your insurance if you have it too. Would recommend highly. If you need another reason, they even bake fresh chocolate chip cookies for those in the waiting room. In a dentist office no less!! My hubby said he's grabbing one next time!

I had to come to this location for an emergency appointment and there was no surprises or unknowns throughout the entire appointment and I was very comfortable the entire time. Fantastic experience: This office is amazing. They got me in the same day for a problem that I'm having. Took good care of me and got my next appointment scheduled in the near future to resolve the issue. My second appointment was with Dr Wang and DA Griffin. They were both incredible. Through out my procedure they kept checking with me to make sure I was doing okay. The root canal was a long procedure and they took great care of me. I highly recommend this office. They even called and offered me a sooner appointment.

Fantastic experience: First time at Lalor Dental. Before the appointment, the scheduling team were excellent about making sure I knew when the appointment was. Then they called to say there was an earlier appointment. Then they called to get my husband an earlier cleaning appointment which I ended up taking. The office is very clean. The staff is professional and friendly and seem to enjoy their work. On the day of the sore tooth appointment, I was running late. I was sure I would have to reschedule but no. They still took me! I had to have a very large OLD silver filling removed and replaced and be fitted for a cap. It was an excellent experience from start to finish. I told my husband that this was the best dentist I have been to since the one who put that giant filling in when I was a very young adult! Excellent, professional, kind, competent, courteous from the front desk to the dentist. Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: Dr. James, Dr. Lee and the whole staff are awesome!!!! I had 5 extractions and didn’t even know the 2nd and 3rd were being worked on. Dr. James is so courteous and truly wants a pain free experience. As long as I keep going to Lalor I think that my fear/anxiety of dentists will be at a minimum as much as possible.

Fantastic experience: Some people say they are scared of the dentist, but I am legitimately terrified.Paralyzed with fear. From the VERY start, emailing with office team to schedule my consultation was awesome. (seriously, I couldn't even make a phone call) they got me in, with my problem tooth and fixed it right away. Dr. Amir was so calming, thoughtful and showed GREAT patience. The entire staff did. Even after two weeks after my first visit, and needed to be seen again, they were all so kind.

Fantastic experience: I have always been anxious going to the dentist.. until becoming a patient at Lalor. My past experiences with dentists can be summarized by long waits, rude and rough service, and being made to feel guilty that my teeth weren’t “perfect.” At Lalor, the staff are friendly & gentle during cleanings and treatments. I don’t dread dental appointments anymore.

Negative experience: Incompetent!! When calling for an appointment, I asked multiple times if they took my insurance, read them every number on my card. I was assured that they did. So went three of my family show up for their appointments, they are turned away because they don’t take out insurance. Absolutely absurd!! I guess if they can’t get something that simple correct, do you really want them working on your teeth!! Avoid!!
