Fantastic experience: I'm amazed at the technology that is available today. A 37 year old wire retainer removed, a 3D scan instead of an impression, and a new removable retainer is on its way. I even got to keep the old retainer! I have no idea what I'm going to do with it, but I have it. Doctors, hygienists, assistants, office staff are all top notch!

Fantastic experience: Going to the dentist is not a favorite past time for me, never has been, but going to Desert Hiils makes it so much easier! My fear of a bad experience always becomes a pleasant experience! Everyone there is kind, thoughtful, and helps you walk your way through all your dental decisions.

Fantastic experience: We love Desert Hills Dental! Have never had a bad experience with any hygienist since I’ve taken my kids since 2018. Dr Hilton always takes good care of us! We’ve also seen Dr Burgess and love her as well. My son had a cavity fixed recently and they were incredibly patient and fast. Just always thrilled with our care!

Fantastic experience: Desert Hills has been wonderful to me- coming from a dentist that wanted to pull all my teeth and sell me implants or dentures for thousands of dollars but when I went to get a 2nd opinion, Dr. Collin's was adamant that I didn't need dentures as there was not enough bone loss and I still had 90% of my teeth. I have been with Desert Hills now for a few years and my teeth are healthier than ever! Now I don't mind my dental appointments and the staff is so friendly and compensating.

Fantastic experience: Dr Hilton was recommended by family members and as I was told he is very good/patience/professional/and very little waiting. His assistance also is excellent 2/22/2025 Again this staff is taking complete care of me and my needs. Being a senior citizen a staff like this is very important and special. 6/18/2025 Will continue with Dessert Hills Dental for sure. This group from the time you enter till time you leave is the best I have been to. You not be disappointed with any service they have.

Fantastic experience: Exceptional!!! Very friendly knowledgeable and professional staff! I was having a crown set, it came back but there was a space between the teeth and the color wasn’t right. Instead of installing it, they did new impressions and ordered a new tooth. They told me there would No charge, since the implant process was so expensive and they wanted to do it right. Big shout out to Dr Collins!!

Fantastic experience: After several bad experiences in she past, I was referred to Dr. Shumaker to help with my chronic fatigue and pain issues. He helped diagnose and treat my sleep apnea and TMJ. The device I received from him has improved the quality of my sleep and I’m very grateful.

I recently called the office to make an appointment for an emergency and was surprised to hear I could see the dentist the next morning! As always, they explained what needed to happen and answered all my questions. Although they are no longer in my insurance network, I chose to stay with Desert Hills because they provide such quality service!

Negative experience: They put in a bridge. It broke, charged me to come in for their month old broken bridge. Got new bridge. Said it didn't fit. Each dentist states it's lose but nothing can be done. Separate incident, took over 2hrs to pull a tooth (very painful), then I got a bone graft and implant. Implant popped out & they charged me for emergency visit. Got another graft. Got TMJ during this. All dentist did for TMJ was have a girl hand me a paper stating I needed an orthodontic for $3000 & gave no other options (there are tons especially since they didn't test for severity.) Meanwhile, girl at checkout advised implant crown may not be covered since new insurance. It would have been old insurance if their implant didn't pop out & process restarted. So now I have a lose bridge, TMJ & a still missing tooth because of them. On top of that, dentist says I need another crown on another tooth. Seriously, you messed up on my bridge, my implant but your response is just to keep adding new procedures instead of fixing original work.

Fantastic experience: 10/10. I love this place. The hygienists are always so good and every time I’ve had to go through more extensive dental care, I did not feel a thing. Best dentistry in Farmington for sure.

Fantastic experience: My wife and I have been using this office for years. Dr. Hilton is our dentist and could not say enough great things about him and this office. Entire staff is professional and really friendly. Always willing to take the time to make sure you fully understand entire process. And when you have an appointment you are not kept waiting for half an hour or more, they do not overbook. I was there recently for some major work and all went well. What really impresses me is that later that day, about 5:30 Dr. Hilton called me to check and see if I was ok and if I needed anything for pain. Now that is service . Once again Dr. Hilton, Bren , and Jules treated me like a king! These folks know what they are doing and care deeply about the patient. Had an initial consult, Dr Hilton provided me with options to help make the visit less stressful for me. I've had two visits, one for cavities and and one for regular cleaning. The dental hygienist was super awesome and also understand of my fears and apprehension. As far as dentists go (lol) this place is top notch. I would recommend desert hills to anyone who has fears of the dentist. Update I've continued my treatment and could not be happier. Dr. Burgess did a great job doing a build-up and crown with no complications. I have since returned for more exams and cleanings. I give this practice my highest recommendation!

I checked with a few other dental offices and none of them helped me and didn’t even ask if I wanted to schedule an appointment. Disappointing. I was in severe pain with a cracked tooth and Desert Hills got me in the next day. I had to see a specialist to remove the tooth and Dr. Burgess scheduled an appointment for me, which was pretty quick. I also have to give a shout out to San Juan Oral & Facial Surgery for a painless procedure. Thank you both for quick action and taking such good care of me.
