Fantastic experience: My dental hygienist was very informative and nice. Dr Patel handsome lil thing lol.. very nice took time to explain everything Front desk girls also very professional and nice. My only tad bit issue is I wish I was told my insurance was not in network, they expect it but I was looking for a Dr office that would be able to handle all my need in the event I needed for convenience one stop shop.. but over all I’ll continue if cleanings are covered.

Fantastic experience: My daughter’s wire retainer broke yesterday. Despite our best efforts, the broken wire was cutting into her lip and tongue. We immediately called our orthodontist (who had replaced the retainer twice over the years when it had broken) and explained the situation. We asked to bring her in to simply have the broken wire removed — a simple procedure in our experience. The earliest appointment they could give us was 2 weeks. We called Island Dental and they couldn’t have been nicer or more accommodating. They said bring her right in. We did and they removed the broken retainer and bonding residue in less than 10 minutes. Everyone we met was kind, caring and considerate. They were exceptional!

Fantastic experience: My family was visiting Long Island from Florida, and my son's braces wire came loose. We contacted multiple local dental offices for help with no success. Island Dental was the 4th office we contacted, and they were able to get us an emergency appointment within an hour of our call. The doctor came in after hours and repaired the issue promptly. Fantastic experience: Dr. Cindy Shi, the endodontist, successfully completed the root canal for my husband within two hours. Utilizing 3D image analysis and diagnosis, anesthesia was administered with utmost accuracy, and three nerves were precisely removed. The entire procedure was executed with professionalism, clarity, and thorough explanations. Notably, Dr. Shi also speak in Chinese, which was a pleasant surprise. We can go back to work now!

Negative experience: My cleaning was all of maybe 10 minutes although I was consistently being told I had so much build up on my teeth. While all the instruments were in my mouth I was asking if I wanted a medication treatment that it would be extremely beneficial because of all the germ build up in my mouth etc. without even telling what this medication was I was led to believe this would be extremely beneficial and important due to the current state of my gums after explaining how important it would be it was dropped it was 300 dollars. The treatment and application of the medicine took all of 2 minutes. And I was told to wait a couple minutes before rinsing. Going to the dentist can be stressful for a lot of people so taking advantage of someone while in the chair mouth full of dental instruments telling them they really need this “medicine” is really taking advantage of the patient. After leaving the office I had an unsettling feeling I got scammed. I called the office immediately to ask what the name of the medicine was. They said everyone who could tell me what this medication was was no longer in the office 10 minutes after I left. I called back to find out this medicine is oral mouth wash that can be found pretty much anywhere for like 6 dollars. What a scam and really disheartening to know they take advantage of new patients like that.

Fantastic experience: Never thought I would say this about a dental office; although I was in alot of discomfort I was very pleased with all staff's professionalism and empathy towards my situation with my discomfort & anxiety, made me feel very comfortable and welcomed. Dr Erin was very tender, supportive and understanding of my teeth/gum issues and very proactive as she explain work needed. Then I had the pleasure of meeting Ms. Enza, she made me feel so comfortable and worked with a billing plan to ensure it didn't cause me more pain. She was a breath of fresh air. Fantastic experience: My experience was unlike any I’ve had with dentists. A lifetime cleanings, fillings, root canals, extractions, implant prep by 8 dentists and oral surgeons. Today choosing a new dentist was by far easy, efficient, personal and professional and dare I say pleasant! First time I was not embarrassed by my teeth. I felt welcome and comfortable. Fantastic experience: I was EXTREMELY NERVOUS AND ANXIOUS about getting a Dental Implant. I was originally there for a consultation and IV Sedation inquiry, the process of all the X rays and the staff were amazing. The staff Kerri, Yvette, and LuisMar were sooo comforting and supportive. Negative experience: Do not get scammed by 5 starts reviews. This place doesn’t even deserve one. Got my implant here. First while taking the tooth out they broke my bone. And after told me i didn’t have the right about of bone for the implant. So they suggested me ceramic bone replacement. We went down with the procedures and everything. The implant didn’t even last 9 years. And never healed. All this time I had discomfort and pain every time I used to chew on. When I asked them why is not healing, they keep saying it will take time. One month ago it fell by itself. And when I went to them, they keep repeating the joke that implants only have 7 years warranty. I paid more than $6000 for 7 years???

Negative experience: The office and staff very nice but when the finance person quoted a price for the procedure I ask why so much and I was give a double talk answer. When I got home I called your office to get additional information and I was told some would calling me back it is now day since my call and have receive any response. I feel like I just came out of a car dealership. Everything was very nice dentist, assistant, etc until the cost discussion started and when I asked questions I received double talk answers like dental office get their dentures made overseas. We use better material etc but when asked her to explain why I got car dealership double take. By the way still waiting for someone to call me back. Not very happy. Put that on your website. You guys are higher then average in pricing and you should be more specific as why you are so. Average price for upper and lower full dentures and 2 extractions is between $ 3000 & $5000 you quoted me over $7000. Porcelain dentures are in the $7000 range not acrylic. Be honest no bu------sh--y or double talk answers.

I felt satisfied at the time. However, a week after that discussion, it seems we are back to square one. I'm currently waiting for a response from Jakie, and I plan to provide more details about what happened. —————————————————— It has now been over five months since my last update regarding Island Dental. Jakie has been handling my case, but the issue remains unresolved. I'm still waiting for the owner to reach out to me so we can bring this matter to a conclusion. I started my Invisalign treatment with Dr. Jordon in 2023, but she left in the middle of my treatment. Now, in 2025, my Invisalign treatment is still incomplete. It's frustrating that I began this process in 2023 and still have not reached a resolution by 2025. It's been over five months since I last provided an update about Island Dental. Jakie has been handling a situation that remains unresolved, and I'm still waiting for the owner to reach out to me so we can conclude this matter. I began my Invisalign treatment with Dr. Jordon in 2023, but she left in the middle of my treatment. Now, in 2025, my Invisalign treatment is still incomplete. Fantastic experience: Dr. Linda was exceptional and made me feel so comfortable and even although i need to have a lot of dental work done. I feel very comfortable in Dr. Linda’s hands and everyone that works in the office in Levittown. I am confident that Dr Linda will make my teeth including my implants look amazing!!
