When I got called back by the dental assistant, she was very sweet, explained everything to me on what she was going to be doing. Dr. Rodgers was very personable, sat down talked with me we went over some option. I left feeling stress free and did not feel judged in anyway.

Fantastic experience: I had my own dentist for over 40 years and he retired so I was very nervous coming there. The dentist and his hygienist made me feel very comfortable. Dr Myers was very down to earth which calmed my nerves! Thank you for a positive 1st appointment!

Negative experience: As a parent, it breaks my heart to write this, but I feel a responsibility to share what happened so other families are aware and can advocate fiercely for their children — because that’s what they deserve. We’ve been coming to this dental office for years. We’ve never had an issue with the care itself, but billing has occasionally been frustrating. That said, nothing could have prepared me for what happened at our most recent appointment. At the beginning of June, my 6-year-old son began complaining of tooth pain, and I noticed visible decay. I immediately called to schedule an appointment. The earliest they could see us was nearly a month out — we took the date we could get. When I booked, I very clearly stated that we did not want sedation this time. My son has had sedation in the past (almost a year ago) and found the experience more traumatic than helpful. He was adamant about not doing it again, and frankly, we saw no benefit from it the last time. I was very specific on the phone: no sedation, and no need to schedule with the doctor who only works with sedated kids. Fast forward to the appointment — we arrive on time and the receptionist reminds me that we were supposed to come 45 minutes early if we wanted sedation. I told her (again) we did not want sedation. She acknowledged it, smiled, and said everything was fine. We waited and were called back. Once in the room, I explained that my son had been in pain and the cavity likely reached the nerve. The dentist responded, “Well, I don’t work on kids who aren’t sedated. You’d have to see someone else for that.” I was shocked. I reminded him — calmly — that I specifically requested no sedation when making the appointment and had confirmed again that morning. I asked why we were only now being told that he wouldn’t perform the procedure. He questioned when he last saw my son (as if I was lying), and asked his assistant to look it up. She confirmed it had been nearly a year. I explained, again, that we were not doing sedation and that we were already there, ready to get the work done. My son was in the chair, and I was prepared to hold his hand through any discomfort. We weren’t leaving. The dentist didn’t even respond. He left the room. A couple minutes later, he came back, didn’t acknowledge me, and spoke directly to my son: “Well, we’ll give this a try.” Then he began the work. Let me be very clear: The entire procedure took 5 minutes. My son didn’t flinch. He didn’t cry. He didn’t need sedation. He felt nothing. And he walked out of that office proud and empowered that he had “been a big boy.” That was nearly taken from him — and us — because a dentist was so set on sedation that he nearly refused treatment altogether. I don’t know if it was about control, comfort, or extra billing, but it was not in my son’s best interest, and that is unacceptable. Parents, please advocate for your children. Even when you're being dismissed. Even when you're being doubted. You know your child better than anyone. Medical professionals are human — and some see dollar signs before they see people. This was a deeply disappointing experience, and while I appreciate the care that was eventually given, I will not be returning.

Fantastic experience: We just moved to Erie PA and I needed dental work. Everyone at Plaza Dental are so nice and friendly. Dr. Rodgers is wonderful. He's kind and gentle. His assistant, Oksana is so sweet and nice too. We are very happy with the service here. Today I needed an urgent appointment due to pain. I knew the tooth needed to be pulled. Dr. Myers fit me in and extracted the tooth so fast I didn't realize he was done. He and assistant Natasha were also so nice. I just want to add that Dr. Rodgers is a very good dentist. The staff and doctors and assistants are all so nice at Plaza Dental.

Fantastic experience: I can’t say enough good things about this dental office. I came in with a lot of anxiety, especially about getting fillings on my front teeth, but the entire team went above and beyond to make me feel calm, heard, and safe. The dentist was incredibly gentle, explained every step clearly, and made sure I was comfortable the entire time. My front fillings look amazing , completely natural, and I left feeling so relieved and even a little proud for getting through it. This experience truly changed how I feel about going to the dentist. Highly recommend, especially if you struggle with dental anxiety!

Fantastic experience: Staff is always pleasant and efficient. Very clean and modern office. Minimal wait time. Dr. Weber is wonderful. I have TMJ and he always lets my jaw rest during any procedures. Very kind and thoughtful dentist. I was very glad to find out that he won’t be retiring until the end of NEXT year

Fantastic experience: Never had a better experience at a dentist office than I have had there. Everyone is friendly and puts any fears you may have at ease. Dr. Myers is who I've been dealing with and has been very patient with me answering any questions I have had. Love this place and would highly recommend. His two assistants, Emma and Holly have been awesome with the adjustments I've needed with my new dentures. The whole experience has been very pleasant.

He is very nonjudgmental in caring for our son with Developmental Disabilities who does not maintain the best oral hygiene. Molly is an exceptional hygienist who has cared for Andy for many years since starting with the practice. Andy is seen every three months to be proactive with his oral hygiene. Fantastic experience: Plaza Dental would be 10★'s if #Google allowed it. They are a family practice and have been helping to treat my family and I for over 18 years, l'chaim. I've had my 2 front teeth going strong for that long through a special friends & family discount, likely saving me at least 30k. My family means everything to me and my smile only shines with my regular check up from Dr. Schuster. My 5 year mission work included a brush with death, so we weren't connecting much. Due to some metastatic issues, I can only remember our last call involving some mouthwash. Like me, Dr. Schuster is both sensitive and gentle in professional practice. Both of us wouldn't hurt a fly with an air/water squirt gun . Being illegally framed, both literally and figuratively for righteous whistleblowing has been harder than pulling teeth. Plaza Dental is the kind of establishment in which you just know LLC E O, Goød will takeover when Dr. Schuster eventually retires. Family comes first, you know the drill...James 1:2-3: "Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face TRIALS of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance."

Positive experience: First, the Dr's are great. 5 Stars as far as Dr's go and work done. They make sure you're comfortable and numb for any work. 1 star for wait times. Appointment is at X time? Expect to wait an additional 20-30+mins before you're called back.

Negative experience: First, get mail in my name with my husband's procedure cost. Second, he gets sent to him for mine and my son's. Third, you have people pay after their appointment without billing the insurance first. Which I know for my son's sealants my total cost should be 40 from what the insurance sent me. We owed 13 between my son and I. 53 dollars plus whatever I would pay for the cavity which I highly doubt would be $127. Does this mean any overpayment would be sent to my husband and not me who paid it? The dentist I have no issues with but billing I do. Thus why the low score.

Fantastic experience: I had a situation with a tooth and my usual dentist at plaza dental was booked up that day. They scheduled me with Dr DeLuca and she and her hygienist made me feel very comfortable, explained everything they were doing and made me sure I wasn’t in any pain. It made a sometimes unpleasant experience pleasant. Everyone that works there is always very nice and accommodating

He can do what any other Los Angeles, or NYU can do, (I previously lived in both cities ) and better service, too. He has a great personality, kind and efficient. Also the Hygienist Jacob is so good, professional, and informational. He's in demand!

Fantastic experience: My only complaint is that it is so hard to get in. At my annual cleaning it was discovered chemo did. Number on my teeth, resulting necessary teeth extractions. Dr Meyer’s did a fantastic job other than the Novocain I felt nothing but a little bit of pressure.

Fantastic experience: Brought my daughter for bi annual check up. Wait time to be seen was minimal. Hygienist was professional and courteous. Office was clean and neat. Check out counter was very nice.

Negative experience: I had called prior to my visit asking if they carried my insurance and they said yes. Then made the appointment months out, and filled out all the paperwork and the day before my appointment they informed me they did not take my insurance. Then I feel they added on a bunch of extra work that was not necessary.

Fantastic experience: Called due to an immediate concern my dentist, Dr Cusati was on a much needed vacation with her family, but Dr Walter’s was able to accommodate an emergency appointment for me the same day. He was excellent, very nice, and did a great job fixing me up. I am very pleased with all services they have provided to myself and my family over the years. Excellent care and staff!

Fantastic experience: Theresa who does the x-rays is such a beautiful person inside and out. She is very professional and personable. She does an amazing job when cleaning your teeth and works well with the dentist also. The establishment is well organized, The staff in the office run a tight ship. They contact you or send reminders which is awesome. Always on schedule which is terrific because they work as a team. I had to get tooth removed and Doctor Walters and Dr. Myers were awesome. They were able to get me in to correct my problem. Job well done and pain free from the tooth.
