Fantastic experience: The office was very clean and the whole staff treated me like family from the second I walked in the office And Bre is My God Sent Angel I Appreciate everything she done to help me!!!!

Fantastic experience: This place is amazing! From the time You walk in you are greeted with a smile from the young lady off the commercial, then the young Man I believe is the Manager is going to show you the UP MOST RESPECT, YES Ma'am THIS, YES Ma'am that, and EVERY STAFF MEMBER I have encountered is attentive, they listen to you, and they will make you feel very comfortable. I have had 2 staff members go over and beyond to make sure I was happy with my smile . I wish I had their names. This place is where you wanna be!!! Thank you Southfield family Dentist.

Negative experience: This is the worst dental office I have ever taken my father .This office over charge your insurance company for work they don't do.My dads hygienist Marla was grea I am still waiting on them to credit my dad's account. Management suck always different employee my dad been coominig here to the Southfield Mi office for years.The May can never answer qestions correctly because she do not no anyghing. She told me 1 person does billing never got a call. She is not a honest person.She had me waiting 1 day fo 8 minutes while she was on her cell phone to answer my question. I will never bring my father back here. Check your billing statement please people they put extra on your billing.

Fantastic experience: I received excellent service during my recent travels in the USA from Thailand. Unfortunately, I encountered an issue with a broken tooth just prior to Memorial Day. I scheduled an appointment, and they graciously accommodated me the next working day. They adjusted their schedule to fit my needs and arranged for a crown with expedited shipping. Dr. Rajab was exceptionally helpful throughout the process, fully aware of the urgency due to my impending flight. Eric

Negative experience: Nice clean facility warm welcoming staff and the doctors are great but I experienced poor customer communication service across the board on what I wanted in my treatment plan as to what I was told from different people ! If I had known that they were going to use my front tooth for bridge work I may not have come back ! THAT IS A CHARGE TO ME ! I asked for a consultation on dental implants only. they broke my treatment plan payment in two steps WHY ??( another red flag ) ? I AM COMING FOR A CONSULTATION WHY WOULDNT YOU GIVE ME ONE TOTAL COST ?? So now it's more money so no I am NOT HAPPY ! Then the staff told me I would have my temporary by a certain date now it's like nope don't know who told you that one ?? Too many workers on one client = unhappy customer. Can't asked for the corporate that is the wizard in oz land and no one knows who he is ?? They lie about my cost and still don't have my teeth and now I have to postpone my summer travel because I don't have my mouth right. Can't reach the CORPORATE OFFICE because there is none . and they are still trying to charge me more...

Fantastic experience: My visit to Southfield Family Dentistry, was my most favorable Dental experience I have ever had. I felt like the only patient had. They were inviting, personable, and mostly professional. I can will always the kindness, the knowledge and the patience I was provided. I must not forget to mention a few persons that made ime feel extra special during my visit. They are Devin, ( Dental Assistant), Camille ( Office Administrator and Dr. Salah Rajah, I want to thank you all for providing me an amazing and awesome experience.

Fantastic experience: The new dental office is attractive. There's more room. It's got windows and air. This is all the intro to quick and friendly service. The hygienist (I've used several) are all well trained and sensitive. The cleaning was fast and without any anxiety!

Negative experience: This practice/office is completely different in every way, in a not positive light unfortunately, from what I was used to in the past. The original Southfield Family Dental led by the now retired Dr. Noah Levi, who was my dentist for yrs, under his leadership the office at one point in time was voted as one of the Best by Hours Magazine. Sadly, it is no longer.

She got everything together for my daughter with the work she needed done. Cleaning here is great as well, they do a good deep clean when coming for a teeth cleaning. Negative experience: I had an appt for 9am I got there 5 mins early at the sfld family dentist office, The receptionist said I'm sorry Mrs Bell you are to go across the parking lot to the other office, so I said we'll it would of been nice if someone had of told me she did apologize. They had done this before when they use to have patients go over there. Then once I arrived at the other office I normally get gas cause I have very sensitive teeth for my cleaning, the hygienist Mary didn't even have the Nitrogen ready she said they didn't have it setup. Secondly, they would call me if my regular Hygienist isn't going to be there to ask me if I want to cancel or use who is available they didn't bother to do that either. Just seem like since Dr Levi isn't there nomore that office isn't the same. I feel like it doesn't have that caring feeling about their patients anymore which is kind of sad, cause I would hate to start looking for a new dentist after going here for over 25 years. ‍ Please get it together Sfld Family Dentist.....

Negative experience: Lots of visits for fixing teeth some seem pointlessor excessive. Not sure if my teeth are better or not yet and have spent thousands.

Negative experience: First all staff was professional and friendly BUT: When you schedule a patient at 10 am, that is their schedule time. When late to an appointment the office needs to rescheduled the appointment and if i cancel 48 before an appointment, a $50 late fee is applied. (My time is important as well, please respect your patients time). I did my paperwork online prior to the appointment to expedite (save time)per the request of the dentist office and I still was not taking to the back until 10:40 am to start the process for x-ray and exams, and I say exams because I saw two different dentist for exams, whom gave two different treatment plans. From 10:00am - 12:10 pm; No procedure, no cleaning. With the amount of staff they have for dentist, dental assistants, receptionist and several other employees, you would think they had a better system or provide an amazing experience or timely service. As well as with several staff members and space within the office, they still have to give a referral to see a different type of dentist (for example a referral to see an endodontics). Guess my expectation was too high because my prior dentist in Georgia( Dr. Henry) respected patients time, the office was a one spot shop, great organization and excellent communication. I will still be looking for another dentist office that is best for me.

Negative experience: The hygenists begin to change frequently; the place seemed to change. I used to go here for almost 15 years when it was only one dentist. I had my veneers done here, and one day, my front veneers broke, and they replaced them (and they did not replace them with veneers; they only repaired my teeth because they had to adhere to their guarantee). My front teeth did not look the same. I did not return. I was extremely disappointed because I truly liked the team back then.

Fantastic experience: First and foremost I am not a fan of visiting the Dentist. My teeth were in terrible shape and I drastically needed to find a dentist that I could trust and feel comfortable with. I had seen the commercials regarding Southfield Family Dental Center (SFFDC), so I decided to give them a call. First and foremost, the commercial didn’t exaggerate regarding the professional, caring, friendly and helpful staff at SFFDC. From the time I walked in their office, to the end of my treatment, they were anything less than phenomenal. The Doctors were knowledgeable and patient regarding the dental treatment I so desperately needed, as well as gentle! I felt no discomfort (and it was necessary for me to receive some form of needle numbing for my procedure). I have found a new home for all my dental needs. If you haven’t booked your appointment with SFFDC, please do! You will not regret it.

Negative experience: Horrible customer service. We came in to our appointment with both my daughters. They checked our name and told us to walk next door . We went to the next door and was sent to another building. Finally when we were told that it it was actually the first building, we came back walking with two of daughters under 18 f cold temperatures, we were told that we were late. It could not be any harsher than this. They told us that we were late initially and kept repeating that. Somebody did call to do another appointment. Never coming back for sure.i see they have good review which is why i came in the first place and that would keep them going anyways regardless of whatever service they provide. My kids are 4 and 8.

Positive experience: I developed an abscess due to a tooth infection. I had no appointment but Southfield Dental customer care representative was very polite and found me an appointment on the spot. After learning my treatment plan I became nervous, but I knew I had to have this done. Dr. Oley and Dr. Woodbury were very professional. Dr. Oley offered me gas to help me relax and I actually did! I was awake the entire time and I felt as if I consumed a 6 pack of beer. As he filed two teeth preparing for a bridge and Dr. Woodbury extracted one tooth. He brought music and told me I would feel pressure and pulling. I felt nothing! Thank you both for your professionalism!

Positive experience: Service was prompt, Dr explained the procedure, we worked on a solution and ultimately decided to pull my tooth. It was quick and painless.

Negative experience: The office feels more like a well ran assembly line than a caring and compassionate medical facility. Everytime I go in hot with unexpected fees (and I have insurance), and made to fill out a 5 page questionnaire before I can even have a cleaning done. The waiting room is small and the back reception area is ran like a collections office. I’m sure the owner is living well.

Fantastic experience: I went to see Dr. Woodbury and team following some pretty intense dental pain and sensitivity. After examination, I was informed that I needed two root canals w/crowns. Dr. Woodbury, Tonya and another gentlemen from my last visit who made my temporary crown, were all amazing. The process is a three step process and while I’ve never had a fear of the dentist, finding out that I had to get two root canals was definitely pushing my anxiety through the roof. Thankfully Dr. Woodbury and his team were professional, kind & patient with me and my fears. They did a great job and I’d like to say, the entire office staff is stellar. Their energy is upbeat & professional. I would recommend them to anyone getting a root canal or any dental work. I can’t thank you enough.

Fantastic experience: My 5 star rating is specifically for Amanda, the dental assistant. In all of my visits to this dental office, I have always been treated very nicely and professionally by the dental assistant. Amanda is the cream of the crop though.. She went over and beyond what I would consider as part of her job. If I carried cash on me, she would have gotten a pretty good tip. She needs to give classes on how to truly treat a patient and make them comfortable. Thank you so much.

Negative experience: The scheduling process is terrible appointment for x-rays and have to make another appointment for cleaning very inconvenience. The dental hygienist was very aggressive when examining and cleaning my teeth, and didn't seen to care. I do not wish for her to touch me or my children again. Nice person but to aggressive with her work.

Fantastic experience: The staff was really nice; Dr. B and his tech that he had on 12/17 was very nice and attentive, they were very professional but chill as well. I had to get four fillings on the same side didn’t hurt and I was nervous; but they made it happen with little to no pain and it was pretty quick

Negative experience: This office is very unfair when it comes to appointments. They cancelled my appointment the day of. I just happened to see the email in the middle of my work day. I have to strategically make appointments due to my personal lifestyle with special needs child after school. However, because they said, I didn't confirm my appointment they cancelled it. It is extremely hard to get through to them. I work and can not sit and keep calling them all day to get through. I usually get through by hitting #1 as a new patient, not #2 a current patient (interesting, but I will not leave my thoughts). I will not recommend this office, they are way to busy for me and definitely unfair. The workers and Dr's. are nice. However, they are always approaching you with potential work that could be done. Very disappointed, because my appointment was cancelled and how much I had to maneuver and plan for it.

Positive experience: My visit at Southfield Family Dental was uneventful. Everyone was professional, and kind, and timely The exception was upon check out. I was taken to the check in area to wait for Tenisha, this took 20 minutes, at that time I asked how long before check out.. I waited another 10 minutes. Finally Robin took pity and checked me out. The time spent waiting to check out is outrageous, I spent more time waiting to pay and check out than with the Dentist.

Fantastic experience: Love love love this place best painless experience I ever had at a dentist office. My dentist and his assistant was extremely nice and catering to my comfortability. I will go here for the rest of my life!!!
