Fantastic experience: I am claustrophobic and so having dental work done makes me extremely anxious. I needed to get an infected tooth out right away and they went out of their way to make me as comfortable as possible. It was out before I knew it. They were GREAT!

Fantastic experience: I was referred here by another dentist for sedation and I’m so glad I was! I’ve had not so pleasant dental experiences in the past that’s left me with a lot of anxiety and fear. Dr. Karloff and Tori were so kind and understanding. I didn’t feel silly expressing my concerns at all. They were both extremely informative when it came to my treatment plan and sedation options. I actually look forward to my next appointment and having them assist with achieving my dental goals!

He explained what he thought the issue was and took care in making an effort to alleviate her pain. The dental assistant was very sweet and efficient. My mom has never had a bad experience at Capital Dental.

Fantastic experience: Amazing office! I was nervous about going to a new dental office but needed to seek a new one because my home office does not do extractions. I called multiple places in Lincoln for a wisdom tooth removal and they could get me in the quickest. After my consultation I felt good about moving forward with this office. Dr. Chapek could tell I was a little anxious about the removal process and made me feel a lot better about it. Not only that but he removed the tooth in one very quick painless pull and the pain I was having that motivated the tooth removal was basically instantly relieved. Very satisfied with my service and would refer anyone to this office.

Fantastic experience: Got here right one time and I was in and out within 15 minuets. They provided extra amount of information for my upcoming appointment. Best of all they provided a complimentary medium size coffee from the mill upon entry and exiting. Loved this place highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: Update: just had our 6 month cleanings, and once again, we know we chose the right dentistry practice. They treat our kids so patiently. What a great experience! Our family of 9 came in and joined their membership program. Everyone we met along the way was very friendly and helpful (front desk, hygienist, dentist). The membership program saved us a lot of money and incentivizes us to come back routinely. This is how dentistry should be done.

Fantastic experience: We love Capitol Dental! We are a family of 9 and we have been so appreciative of the way we are able to schedule all of our check ups together on the same day. We drive an hour to receive the excellent care from their hygienists and dentists. We were able to have two daughters get their wisdom teeth removed here as well. I highly recommend them!

Fantastic experience: Fantastic place to make your dentist. Facilities are extremely clean and welcoming. The staff has been nothing but amazing. My 9 year old and my 4 year old had no problems coming to this location for their check ups. Highly recommend! *UPDATE* If my previous review wasn't enough for you, this definitely should be. As I was coming in for a follow up to my root canal by Dr. Hershberger (which both initial procedure and follow up went incredibly smooth) the ladies up front helped me discover a discrepancy in our insurance which would have cost me thousands more than it should have. They took the time to go through everything with me to find that a single digit on my address was incorrect (a mistake on my part). And they did this with a smile because they actually want to help wherever they can. Kudos to those young ladies!

Negative experience: I had an infection that was so bad that I had blisters full of infection and the roof of my mouth was swollen. They said that I needed 5 teeth extracted so I made the appointment. I'm on Medicaid so it had to get pre-authorized. They didn't ask for sedation but didn't tell me. When I found out I had a panic attack so they fired me for acting inappropriate.

Fantastic experience: Thoroughly professional team from reception to dental assistants and the doctors. Friendly, efficient environment while taking time to listen to patients. Like the way the practice uses dental assistants to inform cost/payment/next appointment date right in the chair instead of doing this at reception. Recently a broken tooth resulted in my first bridge. Dr. Killeen and his associates made the extraction, the temporary and permanent placement a smooth process. Any anxiety I had going into the procedure was quickly alleviated. I am so pleased with the care demonstrated by the doctors and their assistants in this practice. could not be more pleased with the result.

Fantastic experience: Everyone, exspecially Dr. Hershberger was absolutely great to work with. Even when our daughter was being very dramatic. We just went for a dental procedure, but if we lived closer we would definitely look at making them our regular dental office.

In addition to the flexible financing offered to people without insurance, which greatly helped me in my time of need, the customer service overall is just fantastic. I hadn't been taking care of my dental health almost at all but they were reassuring and didn't judge me. I highly recommend going to Capital for any dental needs, when I told them my wisdom teeth were hurting me for years they scheduled me to get them removed the very next day! Brilliant. Without naming names, I previously had a dentist as a child that was later convicted of some serious crimes including being under the influence of substances while tending to patients- that dentist did permanent damage to my mouth through his negligence and essentially flushed a lot of my parents' hard earned money down the toilet, so I have had bad dentistry anxiety since childhood because of that. I have a permanent gash in my cheek because he didn't trim my braces wire down, he installed my bottom retainer poorly and it fell off after a few weeks. I got a 2nd degree burn from him leaving the uv light instrument hanging out of my mouth while he left the room, and he stabbed my gums with the sharp scraper tool accidentally more times than I can count. As an adult, I discovered Capital Dental and they completely reversed all my fears and anxiety from my awful childhood experience. I owe them a huge thanks for getting my dental hygiene back on track. Thank you Capital Dental!

Fantastic experience: The staff here is incredibly kind, patient, and understanding. Since the sedation process takes longer, they worked with me to find a solution I felt safe with, just numbing and nitrous. They gave me a stress ball and even let me use gel packs to stay cool and calm. It’s a total game changer if you have anxiety, blood pressure issues, or just feel overwhelmed by dental work. Back in 2022, I had a wisdom tooth pulled at a different place and it was traumatic. But my experience here at Capital Dental was so positive, I literally cried happy tears. I felt safe and cared for the entire time. I highly recommend coming here if you need a tooth pulled or just want a place that truly listens and supports you.

Positive experience: I’ve been going for a few years. The hygienists have always been very nice and friendly. The dentist who saw me last time asked me if I’ve considered veneers since I have a slight gap in my front teeth. Even as I said no they don’t bother me he continued talking about it and saying other people don’t like gabs so choose to do veneers. I found it very rude.

Fantastic experience: I went in needing a tooth extraction. They listened intently and did some exrays. Found out it was a different tooth than I had expected! So, I got that tooth out and we came up with a game plan as to what needs to be done next! The place is very clean. The receptionists are very knowledgeable as were the technicians. Fantastic experience: Capital Dental has been a great spot for my family and I. I'm not a huge fan of dentists after a few bad appointments in college but they've taken care of me and now my family. I have 4 young kids under the age of 5 that we signed up for their membership plan (better than most dental insurance benefits) and the hygienist was awesome and took her time to make sure they were comfortable. 5 star service, 5 star people.

Fantastic experience: I called on Wednesday afternoon because I broke a tooth. They scheduled me for an appt the following day. The greeting I received when I arrived was so friendly but very efficient. The dental assistant that took x-rays was very kind and compassionate. Dr Gebers was great. The tooth needed to be pulled but he was gentle and patient. Very friendly. I will be going back and would definitely recommend this dental practice. Thank you to the whole group.

Negative experience: Awful experience! I have had extensive orthodontic work in the past, and have a nice smile. Years with no cavities. I came here after moving from Texas to Nebraska is this has been one of the WORST experiences. They completely ruined two teeth, which I have had to attend to in Texas with a dentist I trust. He was absolutely appalled at what they did to my mouth. In addition, I carry two insurances. They did not bill them correctly and charged me nearly $4000, all of which I’ve paid except for $400 - which I refuse to pay. They charged me for a crown that was never completed and ruined the tooth they prepared. This is one of the many issues my dentist here is addressing. Awful!!!
