Fantastic experience: dr bo performed my daughters crown and filing surgery about a year ago and she just had her 2nd check up today. she typically sees dr browne or dr bo and they are both amazing and their patience is outstanding. my daughters appointment with dr bo this morning went so well it put me in a great mood all day! i look forward to bringing my daughter for her future appointments

Fantastic experience: Facility is always clean and all of the doctors and staff are very accommodating.

Positive experience: My daughter has autism and generally has a hard time at the dentist. We have been going to Growing Smiles since 2017. They are absolutely amazing every time. The only problem I had this last time is that we were not allowed to schedule her next 6 month appointment, which concerns me about what is going on with the practice.

Fantastic experience: Everyone is so nice there n friendly. I like the denist there she does a good job on my teeth.

Negative experience: My 8am appointment started off quick with a friendly girl taking my X-rays and the hygienist was amazing. But then I waited 35 mins for the doctor. For a 2 minute visit. Then I went to schedule my 6 month appointment for January which they are not currently doing because “management instructed them” not to schedule past January. So I’m to call January for a January appointment, right I’m sure that really means July. Usually I have no problem not sure what is happening. It’s a shame because they are going to lose patients if they continue this route.

Fantastic experience: First time visit for a braces consultation appointment for my 11 year old, and everything went excellent.

Fantastic experience: I have a horrible aversion to metal on my teeth and owner people being in my mouth, but Growing Smiles made all super painless and made me really comfortable. I am not scared to go back!

Fantastic experience: I legitimately fear the dentist. This was the most painless, quick, easy and stress free procedure I ever had. They pulled 2 teeth on the same side, I was in the chair for a little less then 10 minutes, literally and I was fine the next day. I would recommend anyone to go to Growing Smiles if they need something done. 10 stars.

Negative experience: I have been here several times before, but the last two visits were very disappointing. On two separate occasions both myself and my children waited a incredibly long time to be seen- I waited over half an hour in the chair for my cleaning and then another 40 minutes after the cleaning for the dentist. My kids weren’t even brought back until 45 minutes after their appointment time and when my husband asked for an update he was told ‘they would get to them’ - meanwhile people who were just walking in were getting called back. The dentist and the hygienist are always friendly and very good with my kids, but I don’t know if I can justify continuing to come when it seems so over booked- spending 2 hours at a dentist appointment for a basic cleaning is a little much. They also have a new policy where you have to call in 6 months when you are due for your next cleaning which I don’t like because now I have to hope they have an appointment that will work with my schedule rather than booking in advance. We also didn’t get the regular bag with tool brush and floss and such which I’ve never gone to a dentist and not gotten. All in all I’m just disappointed and probably looking elsewhere .

Positive experience: Dentist was great. Super helpful and patient. Getting new insurance submitted through text line was a bit hairy but we got it did.

Fantastic experience: I have always had crippling anxiety about going to the dentist. I brought my son to Growing Smiles 6 months ago and they were so amazing I made an appointment for myself. I am on a six month schedule now. They are truly amazing and I have recommended them to everyone I know.

Fantastic experience: For someone with anxiety (especially at the dentist), a kind, knowledgeable, and empathetic dentist is crucial, and Dr. Berk is just that. She is gentle, funny, and always makes me feel at ease. I have unfortunately had many fillings and a few root canals in my lifetime, but my fillings & root canal with Dr. Berk were extremely quick and surprisingly painless (which is a big deal!). I can’t say that I remember laughing very many times at the dentist’s office before, but I can with her! Truly I come to this location because of her! Thank you, Dr. Berk! I will also say, there is ONE receptionist (not all) in particular that is not very professional or friendly which does negatively impact the vibe of the office. When I recommend family & friends, I explicitly mention that, because if it weren’t for the wonderful experience with Dr. Berk, I would have been really put off from returning. I don’t know if the office is aware of this, but I do honestly believe she could be a deterrent for potential patients.

Positive experience: Nice place, but their scheduling method do suck. I have to call in October to try to make an appointment for December. Makes no sense. I like to have my appointments right there and then, put it on my phone and keep going. Now I have to try to remember to call them to make an appointment for December.

Fantastic experience: I’ve switched my kids to growing smiles in mount laurel this past year and every visit has been great. They are quick and efficient, they were able to save my son’s front tooth which I’m very happy about. I would recommend

Negative experience: Zero stars. The office has potential to be great. But they fall short. My youngest has been there 2 times without issue. But when my husband and oldest child had their appointments they waited an hour and were told a chair was broken and it would be another half hour at least. I was there this week for my first appointment with them and we won’t be back. There was confusion with X-rays as they tried to charge me $95. Then while I was in the waiting room I overheard far too much info about another patient. HIPPA is thing….I know her name, age, why she was there, and why the office was so annoyed with the family. Then when I was brought back I sat in a chair for an hour without being seen. Then the dentist finally arrives. Does a 4 minute exam and then tells me the hygienist called out and I won’t be getting a cleaning. Something I would have loved to know when I arrived over an hour earlier. And I get it. People call out things happen. But reading other reviews about growing smiles it seems to be a pattern. When I get to the desk to get a new appointment for a cleaning I’m told I can’t be seen until January. Which is a month passed when I would be due for my next exam and cleaning!! I feel like they have too many patients to be able to properly care for and respect their patients. And don’t get me going on the texts. They text you over and over again to confirm and tell you if you don’t don’t confirm they will cancel your appointment. And sitting in the office for as long as I have I can confirm they will cancel if you miss a text. And they won’t tell you they cancelled. They will let you show up and turn your away. No respect for patients time at all. Like I said, the potential is there but they fall disappointingly short.

Negative experience: Disappointed. This place used to be great but lately, they are getting all of my family's appointments wrong, don't know why we are there, change appointment times without notification, gossip behind the desk about other customers. Very unprofessional. Dentist is good but the staff is awful.

Positive experience: Staff was welcoming and great. My frustration is with scheduling. The reception was on the phone when I walked in and told the person that they are booked out until Jan 26. When I went to schedule my next appointment I was told they can’t schedule it and I had to call back in Dec to schedule. Basically I am at the mercy of cancellation to get an appt. So at this point, when I call back in Dec for an appt, I will be getting an appt for the follow July/august time frame. And I will have to call weekly to see if there is a cancellation to get in sooner. I don’t know many people that can drop everything when an appt comes up.

Fantastic experience: My daughter’s first dentist appointment went so smoothly. All the staff was super friendly & the atmosphere is very kid friendly & inviting. The dentist, Dr. Brown was so good at keeping her calm for her first cleaning & took the time answer all my questions. I will recommend this place to all my mom friends for sure.

Fantastic experience: This was our 4th visit at Growing Smiles for my grandchildren, Joseph, Shane & Aubrey, as soon as we walked in we were greeted with Smiles from the office staff who signed us in, while the children were excited to play in the tree house and play on the many game tablets. We were then taken back for x-rays, cleanings and visit with the doctor, everyone was so friendly, patient and professional. The kids had so much fun playing with the other children they didn't want to leave, on top of all this they were given tokens to select a prize, they can't wait to go back for our next checkup... Growing Smiles is Amazing!!

Positive experience: The staff at this dental office are incredibly polite and welcoming, which made check-in and the overall experience pleasant. I also appreciated the kid-friendly atmosphere — it’s clear they make an effort to help children feel at ease, which is a huge plus for families. However, I did notice some areas of concern. The cleanliness of the floors and dental equipment did not appear to meet the expected standards, which was disappointing. Additionally, the rooms are only separated by curtains, similar to a hospital setup, which does not provide the level of privacy one would expect during dental procedures. With a few improvements in cleanliness and privacy, this office has the potential to offer a much better experience. The staff's kindness and the family-friendly vibe are definite strengths.

Negative experience: The experience was ok but it’s really annoying that they keep changing their policies. The most recent change is they won’t book appointments for next cleanup in advance. Asked me to call in November, when I asked that may be late and I may forget I was crudely told that it’s their new policy.

Fantastic experience: I took my daughter here to get dental work done and I was honestly amazed from the moment I walked in to this beautiful super kid friendly office, the staff was so sweet , happy and bubbly, the dentist who performed the procedure on my 5 year old went above and beyond along with his assistant to make sure my daughter was comfortable throughout the whole procedure. She was getting a root canal and literally dancing the whole time lol I am so grateful to have found this office and will be taking my children (and myself) here from now on lol. Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: As a person that has anxiety about seeing the dentist, this office was very welcoming and put me at ease from scheduling the appointment to having the actual procedure done. Jenn and the office staff were all very kind and answered all my questions and concerns prior to and after the procedure. The oral surgeon and his assistant were extremely friendly and dealt with my anxiety. I’d recommend this office to anyone that has fears of the dentist/oral surgeon.

Fantastic experience: Always a great our Debra Hygienist first time working with her was a great experience I believe her name is Tawanna. Great customer service, great cleaning and the Dentist did a great exam. Will always recommend Growing Smiles every time always. They even were able to fit us in due to cancellation due to the weather so it was a blessing, had four kids to be seen and was running late due to traffic.

Negative experience: Dentist was very impatient with my 6yr old. In the first 5 minutes he was talking about putting him in a papoose. Saying I don’t feel like doing this on a Monday, was a little uncomfortable. If you work at a pediatric dentist, you would think that he would have a little more patience with a 6 year old. As a young kid, it’s a little scary some random guy is shoving things in your mouth, and especially if you plan on working with kids, you need to be very patient. Worst experience as a parent

Fantastic experience: We have only been one time and I have nothing bad to say. This dentist was amazing! My daughter wouldn’t let any dentist near her mouth the 4 times prior to our visit here and he not only got her to let him look, but actually do the exam and brush her teeth! Thank you so much!

Fantastic experience: We just had our first visit at Growing Smiles in Mount Laurel for my almost three-year-old daughter, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. The lobby is beautifully decorated with a treehouse-inspired play area and slide that immediately put my daughter at ease. The jungle-themed hallways added to the fun, kid-friendly vibe. The staff were incredibly friendly too. The dentist was so patient and gentle—he took his time to make sure my daughter felt comfortable and safe throughout the visit. It was such a positive first dental experience, and I’m so grateful we found this office. I would 100% recommend Growing Smiles to any parent looking for a wonderful pediatric dentist!

Positive experience: This place is a joke. It sucks that they actually have a great adult dentist Dr. Burke, she’s awesome & great at her job but I’ve had terrible experiences with the front desk. When I was getting my xray’s done months ago & was concerned for one spot the tech mentions “cancer” girl that is not your position to say that word to a patient you’re not a doctor what if I was a hypochondriac.. & now I’m trying to get my xray’s emailed to me & it COSTS $25 TO GET MY OWN XRAYS whoever made this policy is seriously a joke I mean how much more desperate can you be as if healthcare & dentistry already doesn’t take all of our money. Horrible.

Fantastic experience: Well first I started with And x-rays from a wonderful assistant. then Doctor Burke gave me an exam, Dr Berk suggested I get a rootcanal. And crowns...Then I got The work done. Its great....All i need is my 2 fillings and imm all caught up. Will continue to come here.I do recommend this place

Positive experience: My initial review was a one star. Due to me leaving work early and coming 20 minutes before my appointment so I would be on time. After sitting waiting for almost 2 hours. I decided to ask the wait time. Just to find out I was never signed in. After being told “ your fine take a seat they’ll be right with you. After that mishap! I have to say I GREATLY APPRECIATE THE DENTIST/Doctor & the DENTAL ASSISTANT for making it right even though it was no fault of theirs. I highly respect them for staying past closing time to accommodate me. Thank you for you patience & for your kind gesture to make things right! Thank you!

Negative experience: My wait was extremely long it was super crowded,then when I got called to the back I waited even longer I was in a room with several other patients so everyone could hear me care plan it’s definitely not what I expected

Fantastic experience: They were packed but they were moving. They kept positive attitudes when I overheard another customer upset because they felt they were waiting too long but they were operating pretty well in my opinion. The tech that did my xrays was very pleasant and even answered some questions for me. The whole cleaning was pain-free and quick.

Negative experience: I went on Monday to get a full extraction. The doctor was like can u be quiet. Can u stop moving! When I was not moving at all just twirling my feet due to the hard painful experience! The doc energy was sooo off Nan’s cold! Then he gives me nothing but antibiotics and Motrin. I’m now on day 3 crying n screaming due to this pain! I hate to think that if I was of different nationalitie then maybe he would’ve treated me good and made sure I wasn’t in pain!

Fantastic experience: It was our 15-month-old baby’s first visit to the dentist, and we are so happy we chose Growing Smiles Mount Laurel! The attention was quick—we didn’t have to wait at all. The doctor who attended her was very kind and took the time to explain everything about our baby’s oral health, as well as provide recommendations. Great experience!

Negative experience: Awful!!!! Do not recommend. If you want to keep your original teeth don’t go to Growing smiles. I feel sorry for the kids. They ignore bad teeth in your mouth so that they can do major work your insurance doesn’t pay for. Always packed. Rush you to your appointment in rain, sleet, and snow. Do not care about your safety. Sending you numerous text messages about being late. This place is PATHETIC… Please find a better dentist.

Fantastic experience: after getting new insurance my old dentist didn’t take that insurance so i had to find a new dentist. terrified of dentists because of a bad experience i did my research and found this place and it does not disappoint. they work with you, and are extremely patient and friendly. bonus is that my daughter can go here too!

Negative experience: I used to love this practice but recently things are changing...I had an appointment last August and had to reschedule. I was told the earliest appointment to get me in was February. I went to my 930 appointment on time and apparantly they overbooked and had me wait almost an hour before I was taken back and then once I got cleaned I waited another 20 minutes for the doctor and eventually left before seeing him. I was there a total of 2hrs. Today was my children's appointment for 3pm. At 250 I called to say I was running 10 minutes behind and was told they do not take late appointments and I would have to reschedule....are you kidding me?! Well...what once wad a practice that I liked for in and out, good with kids...is now a crowded over booked practice.

Fantastic experience: Ive been bringing my kids to this practice for the past 5 years the staff is amazing , especially all the pediatric doctors !!! Dental asst Fo & Alexa are very patient with my children ! I also come here myself ! Dr. Berk is the best ! Barb & Kevin make me feel very comfortable here ! Fantastic experience: This was our second time seeing Dr. Patel for my son’s 6 month cleaning. As doctors they see hundreds of people, however it makes you feel important when a doctor remembers certain details about previous interactions and not because they are listed on your child’s chart. She is kind and has a great personality. She makes sure your child is comfortable, breaking that stigma of going to the dentist! Fantastic experience: My granddaughter goes to this dentist. Every time I take her I am amazed at how wonderful all the dentists are with young children. They are very patient and kind. They explain every step of the procedure and put the children at ease. Great place.

Fantastic experience: Updated review. Clinical staff that provided services to my children were amazing. Dr. Bo is the best. He genuinely likes kids and appeals to them. Sharma at the front desk is so kind and does a great job to accommodate families. My previous review was an isolated incident and I haven't seen the individual in years. Negative experience: Waiting time is very-excessively long and frustrating Our appointment was 10:15 checked in on time waited 1 hour in one waiting room and then almost 20 minutes out side the cleaning room.

Fantastic experience: Very kind staff and courteous and did not wait more than 15 minutes for them to bring my son to the back .drs and staff do treat kids with disability with kindness and compassion no complaints here highly recommend.

Negative experience: Felt rushed, did not feel like the dentist took her time to explain anything. Felt like I couldn’t ask questions. Just did not like the experience

Fantastic experience: Both my sons are patients at the Mt Laurel location. My 6yr old is very intimidated by dental procedures but Dr Patel (female) was amazing and patient with him. She’s the best! The ladies in the front are always very friendly and welcoming as well.

Fantastic experience: My daughter is always a bit nervous everytime we go and the staff always help ease her back into being comfortable. She was a late bloomer not going to see the dentist until 3 years old but they’ve always had such patience and a kind presence for her. She loves to show off her spectacular smile after every visit. She’s even excited for the next one!

Negative experience: Patient here from 6 years because of the parking outside i was 8 minutes late they told me they can't take me i explained them that there is no parking because of gym they said no we can't you are 8 minutes late worst worst experience.

Fantastic experience: The service was excellent- doctor was very pleasant, helpful and explained what was going on with the treatment. The staff treated me with respect - explained scheduling procedures for children with disabilities and how the dental procedures will proceed. It felt at ease- no need to worry- the children had caring doctors to help them and have them relax , comfortable and willing to cooperate. Great visit!

Positive experience: I'm giving 4 stars just because the wait was crazy. My appointment was for 10:00am and i wasnt brought back for x-rays until 11ish. Then waited a while after, not leaving the office until almost 1pm for a 10am appointment. This was my first dentist visit in roughly 15 years and to say I was anxious is an understatement. The staff was great. The ladies at the desk were nice, xray people were great. I have to get a couple things done (root canal and filling) and they didn't have availability for 6 months, which seems like a long time to wait. All in all, the care is great, but very prepared to be there for hours.

Fantastic experience: I had my wisdom teeth removed and it was quick and easy! Little to no pain on day 2! Very happy!

Negative experience: My family and I have been going to this dentist for about 6 years and have recommended it to many of our family and friends. However, in the past year or two the service has noticeably declined. There have been many instances where they will call or text telling you the day of informing you they can’t provide cleaning or have to cancel your appointment because they are short staffed which is understandable if it happens once in a while. However, I recently went in for an appointment that I scheduled months in advance and was never notified of such an issue. My appointment was at 11 am. I went in it got an xray done and got examined by the doctor who was very nice. She told me I had to go to the front to schedule my cleaning. By this time it was almost 12pm and I still didn’t have a cleaning done. As I mentioned i came to this appointment assuming cleaning was going to be done because I was never told otherwise. When I got the front desk I was told I could come in at 2pm or if there is a cancelation at 12pm they could take me in. It was already 12 so it wasn’t like there wasn’t anyone to do the cleaning so I don’t understand why I would need to wait for a cancelation or come in at a later time when i already had an appointment scheduled. My understanding is they are doing cleaning and exam appointments separately or they are simply picking which patients receive cleaning. Either way the whole situation is just very unprofessional and inconvenient. Luckily one of the 12pm appointments was cancelled so I was able to get my cleaning done. I would of just appreciated being notified earlier if i wasn’t going to get a cleaning . I will be looking for a new place and suggest you do the same.

Fantastic experience: I love the staff and service I receive at Growing Smiles. Everyone starting from the girl I check in with is so happy and positive. Yesterday at a routine exam I had, the young lady who did my ex-rays was singing softly (she has a great voice) and the young lady that cleaner my teeth was humming. Just a very positive atmosphere. The dentist is also wonderful and very positive and happy. I needed that yesterday. !!

Negative experience: Came for my first appointment and will never be back. Sat for an hour after getting my X-rays. No one checked on me. When I went to front desk they said there wasn’t time for me to be seen now. Left without getting a cleaning or being seen by a doctor. Very unprofessional and unorganized.

Fantastic experience: Always so wonderful with our kids! So thankful for all the staff who are experts at putting the kids nerves at ease. The amazing play area in the waiting room and golden token they receive after their appointment are big pluses. Such a great place! So thankful to have it nearby.
