Fantastic experience: Yesterday was my first visit to this facility and I was very impressed from the cleanliness of the office to the front desk. Registration was easy and I only waited about 15 minutes before meeting with the hygienist. She was so professional and explained everything before doing anything to my mouth. There were lots of X-rays and I was happy that they checked everything while I was there. Dr Lauren was great and accommodating with my questions answered. I was referred by several people and told they get the job done and at checkout you are given their recommended treatments and the price upfront. Great experience from start to finish.

I drive a little over an hour for these appointments. After my dentist retired I didn’t know where to go. I had been with Him for 35 years. I started seeing Dr. Dronet and I have been VERY satisfied. I don’t plan on going anywhere else.

Fantastic experience: Changed Dentist as I was not satisfied with the one I had been using and so glad I chose Magnolia Family Dentist. Family and friends had suggested I try them. Very laid back, efficient, knowledgeable and most of all comforting!!! I just wasn’t comfortable at my previous Dentist but Magnolia was very welcoming and I felt comfortable right away!!! Negative experience: I like the dental hygienist. I like most of the staff except the occasional rude person that answers the phone, but that only happened once so far. The problem is having to wait MONTHS to book appointments. If you have to reschedule it will be MONTHS before you can get a new appointment unless you're lucky. I like it here, but if I can find a dentist that has more time and less wait I'm leaving. My husband tried to get an appointment as a new patient. The rest of my family are already patients. My husband had to schedule several months out only to be told that day the doctor would be out and he'd once again have to schedule even more months out. Most medical professionals that get that overbooked stop taking new patients. This place seems to keep adding more and more patients which means more and more wait time to get an appointment. UPDATE: We gave up on them. They rescheduled my husband's appointments 3 different times because they said Dr Dronet would not be available. Dr Dronet is apparently extremely unreliable about keeping appointments. When you book appointments they are far out. I called a different dentist and got appointments next month whereas with Magnolia it was about three months out.

Fantastic experience: I use Magnolia Dentistry through the VA Community Care Network. Dr. Becnel is my Dentist. I’ve had nothing but great experiences with her, and all of the dental hygienists who’ve done my cleanings have been terrific. The staff, from the front desk to scheduling, are great. I highly recommend them!

Fantastic experience: So glad I went to Magnolia Dentistry. This place is top notch from the beautiful decor and cleanliness to the extremely friendly knowledgeable staff. I felt at ease from the moment I was called to the back by dental assistant Jasmine. Jasmine explained everything in detail of what she was going to do as I admired their modern clean equipment. After X-rays were taken I met Dr Gauthier, what a sweetheart. She explained in detail the findings and presented a treatment plan and options. She listened to my concerns and questions and put all my concerns at ease . Then I met Emily, she went over cost and insurance payment. I was taken care of from beginning to end and can’t wait to get started. 100% recommend Magnolia Family Dentistry…. You won’t be disappointed.

Negative experience: It is sad when you get dismissed for participating in your healthcare as you see fit at the time . I am sure my decision would not affect the bottom line . I can read in between the lines . No problem. Thank God there are other dentist in town.

They are not designed as a good fit for everyone.

Negative experience: HORRIBLE. Their website said they covered my insurance so I booked an appointment with them SIX months out. However apparently they didn’t cover the specific company my dental insurance covered so my insurance was considered out of network. They NEVER informed me of this before my appointment and wouldn’t have even informed me after unless my mom read the reviews during my appointment. They don’t take transferred XRays (even thought I just got my XRays done a year ago from my hometown dentist) so you HAVE to pay out of pocket. Nobody informed me about this either. Over a month later, I get another statement saying I owe another $117 because that’s what my insurance “didn’t cover”. My insurance covered 100% of my cleaning but they added stuff on my bill that did not occur which caused my insurance to not cover it. So now I am out of $278 out of pocket because of stuff they didn’t even do nor informed me on. Also keep in mind, my cleaning lasted maybe 10 minutes which I find is extremely short for a cleaning. Never again.

Fantastic experience: Absolutely amazing staff, beautifully automated patient sign-in system, and quality doctors & hygienist. I’m amazed at how quickly I was signed in and taken care of. Every single person I interacted with in this establishment was full of kindness & consideration. I needed an emergency filling for a chipped tooth in time for a wedding I was attending, and they took the time & effort with their schedule to make sure I was taken care of before the event. They really cared & held a ‘no dumb questions’ kind of energy. Shout out to hygienist Kylie for being so sweet & considerate!!

Fantastic experience: As a new patient a few days ago - I cannot say enough about my experience! All of the staff were extremely kind and knowledgeable. As someone with dental trauma, my hygienist Kelly went ABOVE and beyond to make sure that I was comfortable during my experience. Laughing while someone is two hands deep in your mouth? That's a hard thing to do LOL Also to mention is that it's a beautiful dental office - very clean with patient care in mind in the dental exam rooms (hello - TELEVISIONS?!?) Even when I left for the military and had to stop a treatment, I kept the same dentist and the treatment continued even after all those years in between. All of the staff is really friendly. Would recommend them to anybody is they asked me where to get my teeth checked

Fantastic experience: Yesterday was my first day at Magnolia Family Dentistry, and I was a bit nervous since it was my first visit. However, the staff were friendly, and the atmosphere was calm. The dental assistant who attended to me was also very friendly and did a great job. Lastly, the dentist ( Dr. Fleig )was wonderful; he has a great sense of humor and was very kind. I appreciate the positive experience I had with them and look forward to many more enjoyable visits in the future.

Fantastic experience: This is not my regular dentist, but I was sent here for imaging that my dentist could not do. They were very quick getting me back and getting me on my way with a disc of my images for my dentist. The front desk staff and the tech who did my scans were very friendly & professional.

Negative experience: My family had a great experience overall. We were appreciative of our Dr.’s knowledge and experience, which helped to educate us on our needs and plans going forward. My only concern was our privacy, as far as how loudly our finance information was explained to us as well as being able to hear other people’s financial/insurance information and billing information being explained to them across the hallway. In my professional experience regarding HIPAA, patients have a right to privacy and information should be private…,(etc.). Outside of that, all of my family’s experience was great! I would recommend Dr. Nguyen and his team to my family and friends! Came back to this review a year later to update and change my rating. I wish it could be negative zero. I am so angry with the people in the front controlling the billing. This company’s problem has never changed. I was provided a total per my request prior to confirming my children’s appointments and when they were finished the price went from $80 which I was told, to $170 something, to over $350 out of pocket, in addition to the $500 they will bill our insurance company just for a regular cleaning/xrays for two children. One man disrespectfully interrupted the girl while she was explaining the charges to me, to make it even more confusing and then increased the amount she initially told me was due. HE said they don’t know how much the charge will be before the appointment since they add all kind of charges during the appointment. Thanks for admitting this sir. That was the whole point of asking for the price. I was placed on hold so someone could calculate the cost as I requested. My children had no issues so no additional costs should have been applied outside of the initial regular service we were coming in for. Why add all kind of additional services and charges for patients that you are out of network with?! That is not honest service. I would never recommend this company to anyone. They will not get anything from me and my family ever again. They have been very manipulative and shady with changing costs to patients. Thanks to the young woman who cleaned my child’s teeth and did not add all those extra charges and gave valuable compliments to my child for good habits and dental advice regarding future molars.

Negative experience: Front desk service sucks! Spoke this morning due to having a dental emergency and needing to be seen. Was silent for 5 minutes while looking up the docs schedule and was told the assistant would reach out to call to schedule an appointment, I have not been in contact over the course of a few hours and nobody ever answers the phones. I called another just as busy office, and will be getting in first thing today to have my tatty looked at. I have paid out of pocket the two visits I went to. Do not and will not recommend. Don’t pride yourself on teeth if you can’t be able to help the public!

Negative experience: If I could rate a zero, I would. Despite what their website says, Do NOT call these people if you have an emergency like an abscess because they do NOT actually offer emergency service. Offering to schedule me for a regular appointment more than a week away when I’ve just explained I’m in severe pain and have significant facial swelling and redness requiring ice packs is NOT treating it any different than a routine visit in my opinion.

Fantastic experience: By far the absolute BEST dentist office in the Acadiana area. I have been to quite a few, and this is the most incredible, KIND, compassionate and knowledgeable set of professionals I’ve ever encountered in a medical setting. Service is top-notched. Always a fast in-and-out at every appointment. Dr.’s are sweet and helpful. My hygienist, Jacie C., always gives the best, most gentle care. I trust Magnolia for all my dental needs—cleaning, annual digital X-rays, whitening, cavity care, fixing a chip…ALL of it has been a cut above the rest. The place is at a prime location, and the facilities are super clean, modern and upscale. I love this place and these PEOPLE are AMAZING!

The see you at your appointed time (no long wait). Facility is beautiful with the latest equipment. And you get to pick which TV show you want to watch during your procedure! Lol

I suffer with TMJ which always makes going to the dentist sometimes unbearable. My hygienist was extremely gentle while working on me and did an excellent cleaning. Very highly recommend!
