Fantastic experience: Literally sitting in the waiting area after my first root canal ever. Dentist was awesome and chill, so were the assistants(?). Painless and made me laugh while I was stressed as heck. Connie was awesome and chill while scheduling my crown 3 weeks from now. Awesome place! EDIT - 3 Years later, and I'm getting my first filling in over 20 years. Doctor was awesome, told me what to look out for during the procedure, and had me check the way my bite felt before letting me go. The staff behind the counter and in the rooms are always kind, chill, and patient with me when I've got questions. You wanna feel safe and comfortable in the dentist? Come here.

Negative experience: The receptionist are all lovely no complaints but the my recent visit with Dr.Omar Carcora had me leave the office in tears. This is health care, doctors are supposed to be showing the upmost customer service. We come to you with our health concerns, you should be showing patience and be understanding about these things. I waited a whole hour for this doctor to see me. I even fell asleep. He wakes me up with a loud, how are you? I tell him how i’ve been biting my cheek because of my wisdom teeth. The lady before him who took my x-rays for this appointment, had to do it about 10 times because she said the camera was not working. She kept sticking the xray thing in my mouth, all funny down my throat, not even looking at my mouth when she was putting it. Dr. Omar then pokes my cheek with his metal tool, where I literally had raw cuts from biting on my cheek with my wisdom teeth. He didn’t warn me that he was gonna do that. He just said oh I just wanted to see if hurts and acted surprised when I yelled ouch. He doesn’t even spend five minutes with me, examining my wisdom teeth, just pokes me in the side of my cheek with his metal tool, and then sticks his finger on the side of my cheek and tells me to open and close to see if my wisdom tooth was actually touching my cheek. He proceeded to tell me that it’s not my wisdom tooth. It’s my adult tooth in front of that tooth and what he can do for me is shave it down(MY ADULT TOOTH THAT IVE HAD FOR YEARS AND HAD ABSOLUTELY NO PROBLEMS WITH, IVE EVEN HAD BRACES) Why in the heck would it be my tooth that’s been there for years no problems and not the tooth that’s literally sticking to the side of my cheek that I barely got growing in , and it’s all the way in the back that it barely fits. made absolute zero sense. So he’s getting ready to shave my tooth and I questioned him and no hesitation he throws my seat up and tells me you can have them pull your teeth just in the most uncomfortable, rude way. I don’t if it’s because I questioned his authority or what but why would I want you to shave my adult tooth down? Didn’t do any 360 xray literally just took a picture that was so crappy and then stuck your finger in my mouth and tell me your conclusion. Today I am at flat rock dental center just got done with my second consultation about my wisdom teeth. they did a 360 x-ray of my teeth. Showed me how my teeth are growing sideways and need to be pulled like immediately. I tell them what Dr. Omar told me before saying that I should shave down my adult teeth in front of that wisdom tooth. They didn’t think that made much sense either. I think Dr. Omar needs to be retrained cause that last experience had me feeling like I don’t ever wanna go back to you guys again. If I could give my experience with him a negative 10 I would. Fantastic experience: Everyone who I encountered at Great Expressions were very attentive. Especially when I told them I was nervous. I had extractions done. They made sure I was comfortable before they started working on me. The process, IMO, went fast and painless. Courteous staff and very professional.

Fantastic experience: I absolutely love my dentist. He is really working hard with me to get all the work done on my teeth before my vacation. I got into an accident and hurt my bottom teeth now I need partials. Everyone in the office is super kind. I went to two other places before settling here and I couldn’t be happier. Negative experience: I got my dentures done here, they slide around and are uncomfortable and I've gone back, and they don't fix them. Now the teeth are falling out of them, and they still won't fix them claiming it's my fault and they won't warranty past 6 months

Fantastic experience: Let me just start by saying. I have severe dental anxiety. Take me thirty years to get any type of work done. So I came here and I originally seen Dr najor well as many of you know he sold his practice and I was so upset because he really helped my dental anxiety. Then my son seen Dr kachi and he was amazing with him to where he wasn't nervous anymore. So I immediately made an appointment for myself with him for fillings, which I have never done before and I was extremely nervous. Dr. kachi was extremely kind his bedside manner was remarkable!! He made sure I was okay through the whole thing!! And I didn't feel a single thing, even the numbing shots!! Such a gem of a Dr in the dental world!! Thank you!!!

Fantastic experience: Staff is very friendly and efficient. Dr. Najor was OUTSTANDING! Did 4 tooth extractions quickly, painlessly and very competitively priced. Also made a partial plate that fits perfectly. He also made some snap in denture repairs that a different dental office messed up on (New You Dental which was also VERY expensive as well as poor quality I might add!) and made my snap in denture fit perfectly! I have been to many dentists over my 69 years, and I have to admit... Amazing Dental is the absolute BEST dental establishment I've ever dealt with! Don't know how the other dentists are at Amazing Dental, but I would assume they're good as well. 5 + stars

Fantastic experience: Today was my very first visit and I can say they where very helpful, very friendly , and answered all of my questions at there best . I even had my baby with me today and the lady that was taking care of me put on cartoons for my baby to make him comfortable and to occupy him at my visit to make it go more smoothly

Negative experience: Got me right in to have an emergency extraction, even answered the phone on a Sunday. Everyone in the office is great! (Edit) after I recommended this place to multiple people they have all had ridiculously high bills sent months after their visit. I’m one instance they didn’t even send the billing to the insurance company. I will never go back. As I to have been sent 200/300$ bills with no explanation. It’s a shame as they are the one of the best dentist in I’ve ever been to. Billing department comes up short (Edit)1/27/25 Tried going back here and it’s even worse than it was. I was told I needed 3 root canal’s, went to brownstown dental for a second opinion and it seems I only need one. But amazing dental missed the other cavities that needed to be filled. This place was awesome but has steadily went down hill. I’m sure when great expressions took over it went off a cliff.

Negative experience: Last year I went for an exam to get a deep cleaning done, was told they would submit everything for insurance and they would call me after that was done to schedule the deep cleaning appointment. I called a few months after to know what was going on, the girl was extremely rude and told me they would call me. Months went by, then it turned into a year. So I called, had to redo the exam since it had been a YEAR. Well, I got the exam done (AGAIN) and was told the same thing. It has now been almost 2 months! I just called, and they said that whoever was submitting my stuff to insurance forgot to include the X-rays. (Really?) they then used the excuse that they have new people working there now so they aren’t even sure WHO was responsible. Sounds like a really shitty excuse to me. Had I not called I would have waited for nothing with no call. Idk what’s going on in the office, but they are clearly not doing their JOB. Extremely frustrating, I am switching dentists because the unprofessional and unorganized employees just dont give a damn.

Negative experience: Waited 3 months to get a root canal, scheduled my appt. Lied & said they sent request to my insurance but insurance never got it. Waited until I called back to send it. Made me wait 3 months, kept pushing my appt back just to say the dr doesn’t perform root canals after he put an order for it! Never again I try to be understanding but that’s enough, poor miscommunication!! Extremely poor customer service. It’s literally probably one nice and professional lady && she can’t do everyone’s job! Need to do extremely better

Negative experience: Everyone is really nice and genuine, however they spent 3 minutes cleaning my teeth and 30 seconds polishing them. Literally. This happened twice in a row. Maybe my teeth weren’t dirty? But I’ve never had such a fast dentist visit in all my life. I was in and out of there in under 15 minutes.

Negative experience: Originally left a 5 star review until payment. Usually it’s $140 for cleaning, now it was an additional fee for “review and examination”? Price doubled for same services first red flag, second and bigger red flag is I asked for an itemized bill and it says I was seen by a different doctor for the examination, I was seen by a student Dr. Omar and was billed as I was seen by a different doctor. Sounds odd and fishy from an insurance fraud and billing perspective.

Fantastic experience: I've had issues in the past at this office. The dentist had to keep fixing what he kept doing. Had kids that did not know how to thake an xray doing his work. Crowns that would fall off. One fell off a week later and broke off a brand new root canal/crown... then he offered a free bridge that a year later he told me had to take off because tooth was rotted underneath... made no sense. Longer bridge caused me 3 root canals than broke off another tooth.. omg... nightmare! Today I was in... new dentist. I was very pleased. Past dentist no longer there. He was a nice guy ... but now whole side of my mouth has no teeth. 2 implants today. Thank you for your kindness and I did not get his name.

Fantastic experience: Probably one of the most frustrating annoying times I’ve had in a long time since Dr. nature is no longer there things have changed, but nobody tells you anything when you call so before you go I’d make sure your insurance and everything is good cause I sat for two hours to wait to find out. I couldn’t get my cleaning there. The office manager was wonderful. She tried everything she could. I totally appreciate her but nonetheless, I drove an hour and 45 minutes one way to get there and another hour and 45 minutes to come home. Nobody pays for my gas nor did they pay for the four hours on the road and the two hours, I sat in the office so I really help get things straightened out .

Negative experience: I started going to Amazing dental about 4 years ago, they have taken great care of me. Never had any issues with their office. Since great expressions have bought them out, I am no longer going to be a patient there. I had a scheduled teeth cleaning from 7 months ago that I made. I received two text messages within 4 days of my appointment one from amazing dental and another from great expressions. I confirmed the text message with a “Y”. I received a confirmed text right away. The day before my appointment I get a voicemail that my appointment needs to be changed. I called them back within 20 minutes because people have to work for living and can’t be on their phone 24/7. By a snarky receptionist that answers and tells me I need to change the appointment because they are booked. I’m confused.. I told her i scheduled this appointment and now they are over booked how does this happen?! She tells me that I didn’t confirm with them about my appointment. I told her yes I did, I confirmed with the text message I received. I will show proof if needed. Her response was oh well you didn’t answer us when we called and you didn’t call us back to confirm. I told her I’m calling you now am I not! I have never heard of such bs in my life about confirming an appointment. If you don’t accept a “Y” for confirming on a text then don’t text people about their appointment. I will not be going to this Great Expressions location. Very poor customer service especially after buying out a previous company, and expecting patients to stay. You will not be getting my business. ✌

Negative experience: A total joke!! I went for 2 fillings in the front and the Dr was rushing and over sanded a tooth making them uneven. He "fixed" it then I returned because he didn't smooth it properly. I tried to contact the office manager and she never called me back. So I went back to have another Dr fix it and was informed I have a balance. Why? because they charged me more to fix what he messed up and there is still no accountability for the error. No one responds to emails at customer service so it's a mute point for a resolution.I will never return or refer anyone else.

Positive experience: I was very disappointed in the lack of cleanness of the restroom and the dental room. When I was being checked in, the receptionist didn’t seem confident. I had to ask her a few times to speak up and I don’t have hearing issues. My hygienist was great. I am also not happy in seeing a different doctor each visit. I probably won’t return.

Negative experience: Went here for a filling and was told previously that there’s a 15 minute grace period. Ended up being 10 minutes late and then they said that the grace period was only 10 minutes so I thought we were good but no then they said that we were still too late and had to reschedule for a whole new appointment. Positive experience: I have very much appreciated this dentist since I had some terrible experiences prior. However, lately since they switch to Great Expressions, there has been some inconsistencies. My last 2 appointments for my daughter had to be rescheduled because they stated the hygienist was no longer there. Getting an appointment here is so hard which is frustrating. They have been great when I am there it’s just the inconsistency and lack of availability that is frustrating. I will be back but I just wanted to give some feedback. Hopefully it improves.

Negative experience: I wish i could give zero stars. They messed up my teeth so badly, they tried telling me there was a cavity in the front tooth, then they drilled off basically all of my tooth, then proceeded to mess up the replacement. Now they continuously cancel my appointments.

Negative experience: My brother walked to this place and got his took extracted. After the shot wore off they gave him regular Tylenol and he left to walk to the hospital cause they couldn't give him anything stronger. How ridiculous he litterly walked 2 miles to get it extracted walked home shot wore off he's already on Motrin which is stronger than Tylenol. Shot wore off now he litterly walking to the hospital it happened today. Not right they can take his money. Now another 3 miles to the hospital. He couldn't even go home and relax and rest he has no car. I feel terrible for him he was shaking. Not right that dentist needs to get his act together. But you took his money.

Negative experience: Dental hygienist were great but unfortunately I was not able to be seen due to pregnancy. They could have told me before I wasted my time going there! Front desk is horrible and showed no concern. Medical records should be sent in email for NEW and RETURNING patients so we can fill it out before we drive all the way there. Otherwise, how would I have known? Been waiting on this appt for months just to be rescheduled over a month out AGAIN due to medical clearance. And once again, I will have to get time off work. I just hope they do not try to bill my insurance for this because they didnt do anything at this appointment. Very disappointed in the professionalism on this issue.

Negative experience: My brother needed dental work and I took him to Great Expressions (office in Southgate) and after his exam, I was told he owed 89 dollars. My brother is 72 yrs. old and had medicaid. The supervisor Jessica had the medicaid card in her hand and said he didn't have insurance and I paid the 89 dollars when in fact he had medicaid. This happened in May and I have not been reimbursed for the 89 dollars. Poor customer service.

Fantastic experience: Go see DR SAM, attention to detail, great personality and not rushed he makes sure the work is top notch! Don’t be an idiot like me and put the dentist off for years and get into tons of work, go here and you’ll be surprised how easy the experience is!

Negative experience: Had an appointment in February scheduled for my disabled son. Showed up, said they wouldn't take him for his appointment without a doctors note because he is on seizure medicine. I understood, got the doctors note, re-scheduled the appointment, and made sure they had a copy of the note. When we arrived for the new appointment on 7/11, after we received approval that they reviewed the note, they wouldn't provide care for my son. My son has autism and when plans get changed, it ruins his entire day. We followed all of their instructions to the tee, I would not recommend these people to anyone. What they showed us was discriminatory behavior and we will be pursuing this further with the BBB and regulatory boards. Please don't take what businesses tell you at face value - dental care is important and my son hasn't received any in a long time because this business decided to waste our time and effort. Before going to these lengths, I tried to speak with corporate and they said they would have a representative call me after I left my contact information. This did not happen. Very dissapointed, beware deceptive practices!

Fantastic experience: Let me start by saying Dr. Kachi is the BEST!! He is truly nothing short of amazing. I’m 42 and have HORRIBLE dental anxiety, I always have since a bad experience as a young child, but as soon as he pops in the room he brings such a calming energy. During procedures he asks frequently if you’re ok or have any pain. He genuinely cares about his patients. And I can’t forget about his assistant Leslie, she is such a darling, holds my hand if need be and is just compassionate about her job. I hope Great Expressions knows just how much of an asset he is to this place. So if you’re looking for a great dentist for your child/teen or even yourself give him a try, I promise you won’t be disappointed

Negative experience: They truely are terrible here didn't wait till I was numb for extraction!!! They also didn't tell me on my realine of my dentures that you had to bring in the dentures no instructions gave so cause I had to reschedule that appt counts as you didn't show.. because if you have to reschedule more then a cppl times you then can't be a patient ur a stand by patient ..which u can only call and ask if They have a cancelation !!! Then you can be seen if someone has canceled they got their money but now wanna play with my dentures then the only nice person was my dentist who extracted my teeth terrible service from the ppl at the front desk ..only thing good about them was the get you back fast other then that they ate terrible...

Fantastic experience: I have been coming to Amazing Dental for years and have never had anything but a positive experience. The staff, the dentists and the girls who've cleaned my teeth have been very pleasant and listen to any concerns I may have . A D takes many insurance plans even Medicaid which is so hard for people looking to find a good dentist to find. Their newest location on Fort St is beautiful, clean and comfy. Negative experience: Doctor Najor is wonderful. I’m sure he’s not aware of what goes on at the front desk. I have been waiting on an extension of my authorization for a month now, when doctor and front desk told me it would take a week or two. So I call to check the status of it again today and they say it wasn’t submitted! Not submitted?!!! I even called last week to check on it and was told still waiting, so they had the opportunity that day too to do their job. Today, Jessica tried to give me that they’re busy submitting multiple authorizations a day and blah blah blah. Ok? You all had a job to do and had 4 weeks to do it. So now I’m stuck with a broken tooth and can’t get in to see Dr. Najor, once again for an emergency, until next week. At this point, I’ll be finding another dentist. Doctor is great, his front staff not so much.

Negative experience: I made my appointment months ago, so it would be during my vacation. I just called to confirm the time, and I was told the person who I was seeing no longer works there and they canceled my appointment without notification. I never chose that dentist. They just assigned her to me, so I didn't care who I saw. Now they don't have any appointments available, even though none of this was my fault.

Negative experience: I've been coming to this establishment for a few years back when you all were actually located in Wyandotte with no issue up until recently where I was just informed that my 6-month appointment would need to be canceled because you all are no longer doing Saturday appointments. I was also told that the latest you all can do is 5:00 which is very difficult when you're working a job where you don't get off until 5:00. So much for being amazing and accommodating your patients I guess. I'm going to have to take my business elsewhere.

Negative experience: If you are forced to use this establishment because you have state insurance like I do, I'm sorry. This is the worst dental office I have ever been to in my life. Unorganized, unprofessional, cancels your appointment the day before and can't reschedule for over a month. They called to confirm my appointment 3 days in a row and then I showed up for said appointment to be told that I don't have an appointment because the hygienist no longer works here. They confirmed my appointment 24 hours beforehand. How does that happen? I've unfortunately been forced to go here for multiple years and they somehow lost my phone number and had to call my emergency contact to cancel an appointment. This place is a mess and I would never recommend it to anyone. I don't know how else to emphasize how truly awful my experience has been at this dental office. They also beg you for positive reviews so I would take any positive review with a grain of salt. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

Negative experience: My son and I recently relocated to Michigan and had our first appointments scheduled for last week. When I first called the lady I spoke with was very nice and I assumed everything was going well. I filled out the new client paperwork for both my son and I and awaited our appointments. On the appointment day we arrived early and I was told my appointment had been cancelled because they could not confirm my appointment, I asked them what number they had on file and they listed the wrong number, no apology no nothing. They made the appointment for me so this was a miskey on their end not mine. One of the girls at the front desk then proceeded to ask me if I wanted to keep my son’s appointment. So I agreed to keep my son’s appointment and asked her which contact information did she have on file for him and she gave me the correct number, my number . You mean to tell me you have the correct number for a child but you input the paying adults number incorrectly? It didn’t make sense to me at all and there was no empathy given by the front desk worker so I asked for the corporate email or phone number. The girl had the nerve to tell me to google it…. Why would I Google anything when there are business cards right here on your desk? Never again. I cancelled my son’s appointment and we will be scheduling elsewhere. DO BETTER, this is a trash establishment.

Negative experience: Do yourself a favor, Go Elsewhere! This place reschedules night and day, overcharges you against your insurance and does not let you know your crown still hasn't come in all while confirming if you are still good for your appointment earlier in the week. Crown isn't in but let's still confirm patient is good for their appointment. Don't waste your time with amazing dental.

Fantastic experience: When I say Dr. Najor saved my life and my WHOLE appearance he did just that! I went to another Dentist and had a very bad experience that’s not even worth talking about because Dr. Najor made me forget all about the sadness and has brought PURE HAPPINESS to me and my smile again! I can now eat, chew and be cute The good thing is he’s young and I know he won’t be retiring anytime soon, so I have a new Dentist for the rest of my life! Negative experience: I had been going here for a few years because they were the only place that took state insurance. Finally got insurance through my employer and the past year (2023) to now, they have been god awful. Does Dr Najor still own/run this place?. They just tried to push my filling out for the THIRD time , next appointment would have been months out, AGAIN. This filling was supposed to be done in November of 2023 after I had my baby. The smaller office was 10x better and friendlier. Did we just become a chain dentist office ? Side note - I switched dentists.

Negative experience: Amazingly incompetent. I’ve put off writing a review because there’s just too much to put. I went for 4 crowns. First problem the temporaries kept falling apart. Came to get my permanent crowns they were the wrong color. The assistant had such a hard time getting my temporary crown off he actually fractured the inside of my tooth and I had to have a whole new second root canal. No one was able to work this new equipment they had and each visit was hours of repeating the same things. I’ve never had more x rays done in my life. Dentists come and go, seemed to see a new one every visit. The only thing left to add is that the girls working up front were rude and would give me stare down at each visit. But that was the least of the problems created for me by this office. I’ve had multiple root canals and crowns they have always been unpleasant but very easy.

Negative experience: I haven't had an issue with Amazing Dental until now. I was seen for a cleaning on 1/31/24. After that visit one area of my mouth has been hurting and the pain is getting worse. I called the office regarding and was offered an appointment in March!!! If I am having pain, why would I wait until March to address the issue?!?! I was then told to call the office on Monday, and maybe just maybe I would be able to be seen. Like so many others, I work and have to plan appointments around my work schedule. I was off today, because my grandmother passed. I have to sing at her funeral tomorrow and can hardly open my mouth due to the pain! Now I'll have to find a dentist that offers emergency services or go to urgent care. Not cool Amazing Dental!

Negative experience: terrible place, i thought it was an issue with my insurance as to why they weren’t letting me get my cleaning after a year of not having one due to their fault. but in fact was their issue, i’ve spent three hours on the phone with my dental insurance people saying my dental is active so they don’t know why amazing dental won’t take me tomorrow for my appointment. after hours of being on the phone i told amazing dental to call my dental insurance company and they refused and defended me to denaquest. dentaquest said the same thing about my insurance being active but amazing dental still won’t take me for my appointment. i will be switching dentist offices and never coming back.

Negative experience: Don’t waste your time ! This is the seconded time Iv scheduled an Appt just to go there and they tell me “they can’t do it “ or another employee didn’t put it. The manager couldn’t even address the issue professionally. Stated have your teeth clean then come back , who wants to come back when I made the APPT for that specific reason. Lack of acknowledgement and scheduling needs to be address to their Manager Tionne /employees .based on the rest of these reviews I’m not even sure how they stay in business nepotism and lack of accountability. Thank you to the Arabic girl who looked in my chart and seen that it was noted in there Obviously, your manager couldn’t see it I will be reaching out to the owner and to corporate and state of MI.

Negative experience: Had to update unfortunately . The dentist there still is good I can't take that away from from him! Reason for change rating is because there was a $2.00 (yes $2.) charge off that was done (which had me confused because you only get the service after the CO pay has been paid) and when I called to make another appointment because of how I again like the dentist there(awesome work by the way) I had to pay this $2 before I could actually return to them sort of say . Now if it's been charged off....then why do I have to pay this $2 again (being it was charged off) and $2 ...come on ...there was way more money spent and still mad work to be done....but $2...thank you but...it's really the not registering with me.

Negative experience: Was going there for a year as a patient who needs either later night or Sat appointments I had to wait 2.5 months for a cleaning appointment my appointment was on a sat at 10am they called me the day before to tell me the original hygienist wasn’t going to be there the only way they could see me is if I could come in at noon I told them that was fine Sat comes in running a few min behind because switching around child care I called to tell them my eta was 7 min late they told me then they couldn’t see me and the next Sat appointment was months out. The dentist was GREAT! The scheduling forced me to move to a different office

Fantastic experience: I called every day for a cancellation. Every day, I was treated kindly, always did their best to find a spot and were successful! Not once did I feel like I was bothering anyone. Office is very nice and in person the front desk staff seem to be very kind and professional

Negative experience: The only good thing I found out of this place was my last dentist, that switched providers and no longer works for this company. Staff is highly highly unprofessional. If they don’t have an answer for your questions they will just hang up on you. I got my Invisalign done here, paid 5,000 in full and now I have to get refinements and they won’t do the refinements. I got them done the first time there (the refinements) they took it with the mold instead of the scanner, which is way less effective. Half the trays that came back were extremely loose and fell off my teeth. I made another appointment, got another set of refinements done. He says he will get back to me in a week. Three weeks pass by, no one reached out. I call them back, get into an argument with the front desk lady because she tells me that there’s nothing there for refinements, gives me no answers to why, doesn’t tell me the doctor will call me back and hangs up on me. I had to call 4 different times to get answers and speak with. Supervisor just to be told that they won’t be seeing me there anymore or doing my refinements. I would not recommend this place at all. Also if you don’t confirm your appointment they will just cancel it.

Positive experience: Dr Sam it the best! But let’s just say when it comes to making an appointment you have to wait weeks or months just to get in which is ridiculous or if you’re in pain and called them to try to get seen within the next day or two it’s impossible they will tell you to wait until your actual appointment day or you would have to wait a whole month just to get your teeth looked at. I have a root canal done on my very front tooth and I have a temper rarity crown on it and now it is loose and I am so scared if it falls out I called the office to see if I can get in just to get it looked at and the receptionist I believe her name was Madison told me I would have to wait until January now tell me is that not ridiculous or what. They need to hire new people

Negative experience: Ridiculous. I get an implant done and have had 3 done here which one was badly infected the first time so I had to have it taken out and redone the other day. Then when I get it redone I’m prescribed Motrin which is fine until it stopped working and when I call asking for help for the pain I’m told by another physician through someone on the phone (since mine is out of town apparently) that I can get an X-ray and antibiotics and that’s it even though I’m on antibiotics now. So what am I supposed to do for the pain when I take the Motrin like I have been, and it works for literally an hour and then I have to wait atleast 2 hours in pain so I can then take Tylenol and the pain just radiates through my head? And nothing is helping And it was literally like that the entire day yesterday. I was working like that and I tried to deal with it but it’s so unbelievably painful. I didn’t even want to call because I knew I would get treated like that. It’s wild I watch these people literally prescribe pain meds to children for a tooth extraction but any adults or people that are heavily tattooed like myself we get treated like we’re drug seeking and I’m just asking for help with something stronger than Motrin. I don’t even know what you have and didn’t ask for anything by name because I don’t even take stuff like that. But yet I’m told you can give me nothing but Motrin that isn’t even helping lol. I’m going to start looking for any then dental facility after this implant is done because place is ridiculous. They accept Medicaid which is nice but there’s been so many issues that I’ve had here like my first 2 dental implants not even being right plus my other one getting infected and then I have to go back because it looks like they put molar style teeth by the front of my mouth on the top implants and then the infected one having to be taken out and given a bone graft because the infection ate part of my jaw bone. And now I just had it redone and this happens. Or like the time when I’ve confirmed my appointment and then go in to be told I never confirmed so I lost my appt somehow. Or how about my last visit when I was told by the dental assistant I could take my own stitches out if I wanted to in 2 weeks since I seemed to look like a piercer and I must have the equipment myself to do it? Like what? And let’s not forget me being overcharged for my 3 dental implants and when I noticed the discrepancy, I contacted them about 6 times but was being dodged from February to September for the money back. I had to contact them through their website to go to headquarters just to get my money back I would get the run around and told to wait for a check and then later told by other reps they had no idea what I was talking about because nobody ever notated anything or even tried to get me a refund. I just can’t even believe I was treated like that just now on top of all that. Smh.

Negative experience: This place was great before moving to their new location. It feels like a completely different practice now, and not in a good way. The staff (except one or two) are all new, from the front desk to the dentists. I have been waiting over 4 months for my dentures. Was supposed to pick them up today. When I arrived they told me the lab tech was out and I'd have to make a new appointment. When I inquired about the automated text I received earlier today confirming my appoinmment, they claimed that it wasnt them that text me. Instead they blamed the text service who they pay to send messages. Well, if they pay to have the texts sent, then the text was in-fact from them, right? As for the lab tech making my dentures, he has been completely rude and condisending. Oh yeah, and when I went to get my sutures removed after having all my teeth pulled, two of the dental techs insisted the stitches were disolvable. I demanded someone look closer at which point a third tech agreed they were not dissolvable. When they finished digging out the suture from one side, they said they were finished. I again had to explain that there were sutures on the other side of my mouth too. He was just in there but didn't see that? Seriously, RUN.

Fantastic experience: Just had a filling replaced by Dr. Kachi and his assistant Leslie. They are a great team. Both so gentle I almost fell asleep in the comfortable chair. Painless dentistry at it's finest. They give you room-darkening glasses, play music, etc. Dr. Kachi has a *wonderful* sense of humor, kindness & compassion for his patients, and the most gentle touch. Then.....checked out with Ashland and I was on my way. Great location (14024 Fort St at Superior Southgate MI 48195), great staff, GREAT DENTISTS!!!

Fantastic experience: The staff is absolutely amazing, they make you feel welcomed and comfortable. For me dentist appointment have always been dreaded and anxiety filled, but the staff is so gentle and they make you feel very nice and comfortable, something so it's not so hard to make another appointment lol It's a beautiful clean building n their chairs they do the dental work on n such on are super comfy lol. I would recommend them to anyone honestly, my mouth is more sensitive n the hygienist was very sweet n asked me if I was okay n said for the next visit she would make sure I'm all good! Super amazing place n staff.

Negative experience: So I've heard all of the great things about this business. My experience is nothing short of horrible. I called to make an appointment as a new customer at 3:50pm today. Spoke to a representative and gave them all of my info that they requested. Representative was reading it back to me all wrong. From name to date of birth. When asked for insurance info I could not provide that at the moment because I was driving.. Representative then Tells me I can't make an appointment unless I provide that. I was then told they would get " in trouble" if they made an appointment without insurance verification. I could have provided that at a later time. So I said let's just assume I'm paying cash, and then show up with insurance info. Sorry we can't do that. I didn't even get past their gatekeeper to find out how their service is. I wilI have extensive dental work needed but they have too much business to worry about my $10,000. Really would like to speak to the manager.

Negative experience: Terrible place! Will never ever go there again! They make appointments & when you get there they tell you your not eligible for your next dental cleaning yet according to your insurance! They set the appointment for god sakes! This happened not once but three times total between my husband & I ! Not to mention the filling they replaced didn’t even last! Oh & the very first time I came here for a cleaning there was no where to park! Once I got a place to park down the street & had to walk a block there was a line at the door & I had to wait to check in, I waited almost 10 minutes & once I got there they said I was late & the hygienist couldn’t see me! Really!!!! The whole thing was your fault why I was 8 minutes late!!!

Negative experience: This was a very good place until recently when they changed location. The new design and open concept rooms lets you hear everything going on in the rooms around you. I had to sit and listen to a dentist explain to a patient how horrible their teeth were while the patient was sobbing because there is zero privacy with the open concept rooms. The office staff has also become extremely rude on the phone and in person. I am no longer a patient here and have moved to Admire dental on eureka in Southgate. They are a smaller practice with private rooms that have doors that close and you don’t have to hear everything going on around you. Admire has all the same high tech equipment and offers the same services in a private setting which I prefer as a patient and the dentist is very skilled at Admire as well. The office staff at Admire are kind and won’t scream at you on the phone like amazing dental does and they will go above and beyond to make you comfortable at Admire. I recommend making the switch to Admire if you’re unhappy with the new staff and set up at Amazing dental.

Fantastic experience: I have been a patient for 3 years now and the clinical staff and office staff have been nothing short of amazing! I have confidence in the dental team as everyone I have encountered has been very personable and knowledgeable. I am truly grateful to have found a dental practice I can trust. When unforseen circumstances come up they are quick to get me in and address my concerns, often offering same day service. Dr. Najor connects with patients on a personal level making me feel comfortable during my appointment and more like family rather than another number walking into the practice.

Negative experience: I went in for a cleaning and 2 days later got a bad infection. Then their system goes down for 4 days. I call every day asking if it’s back up because i have an emergency and not ONCE did they say “We might not have any emergency appointments when our system is back up so you might want to go to a different place” or anything helpful. Probably shouldn’t have even tried going there after they gave me an infection but i’ve been going for years with no issue. Lost my trust 100% though

Negative experience: If I could give 0 stars I absolutely would. I’ve been coming to this place for some time now and always thought they were AMAZING but I don’t know what has happened recently. I came to the office 3 separate times for a horrible tooth. The first 2 dentist couldn’t pull it. It hurt so bad that I could feel everything, they both referred me to an oral surgeon that wanted thousands. Which I don’t have. I came back a 3rd time with a new dentist in the same office. He said I’m going to fill some teeth and I’ll try pulling it. He numbed the hell out of my mouth( which did the trick so obviously the prior drs just needed more numbing) did my fillings and with a little muscle & a lot of numbing he pulled the tooth out. Here I am month later, in HORRRRRIBLE pain. One of my teeth that he filled was a black hole. I had a feeling it needed to be pulled but I trusted what they said and let them fill it. I did miss my appointment and they’ve made it VERY clear that because I missed my appointment, I won’t be getting services anytime soon. With horrible attitudes they told me I can be seen in august. It’s June 2nd. The pain is so unbearable I went to the hospital this morning at 4am. I’ve given birth to 7 children and never felt this much pain. I asked about an emergency appointment, booked until August. I also asked that if anyone cancels at all I can come right in and was told “unfortunately we can’t help you until august” My appointment that I missed was for more fillings, I debated whether I wanted to go or not because although I was sooooo happy the dentist was able to pull my tooth, the fillings he did are very bad. You can still see cavity like he didn’t put enough filling. I also know the tooth with the big black hole he filled was not correct because I’ve had discomfort since my appointment but I was happy to have the other tooth pulled and figured it was just still healing. Although, Jessica the assistant was absolutely wonderful. You can tell she actually cares about the patients. I’m actively looking for a new dentist, and if you’re reading these reviews before making your decision to schedule an appointment here or not, I would HIGHLY recommend not because if you’re in pain, they don’t care.

Negative experience: Horrible experience. The ladies at the front can’t differentiate their head from their rear. I showed up 20 minutes early for my appointment. Was forced to wait 25 minutes while they figured something out with my insurance. Then they told me I needed to reschedule due to their “10 minute grace period” despite arriving 20 minutes early to the appointment. 1 star service. I’m sure the dentists are great but the ladies in the front can’t work around a simple insurance card if their lives depended on it. Never again.

Negative experience: Update: went to a different place, they never once mentioned a root canal let alone 2. Refilled my old filling, said the other tooth just needs a cap. I paid nothing. Amazing dental not so amazing. A dentist I use for basic things said I needed a root canal asap for a broken filling so I went here that accepts my insurance for such procedures, so amazing dental said while scheduling. I get there and they tell me I need not one but two root canals and it'll be $2k. I explained I don't have that and I didn't want a root canal due to auto immune issues, I'd like a extraction and partial or bridge. Afterwards send in someone with paperwork to sign, no explanation, I ask what it's for and they said to consent to pay the 2k. Again I explain why I don't want the root canals, they said they'd have to submit it to my insurance to approve a bridge or partial I wanted and it could take 3 to 4 weeks. 4 weeks, 6 weeks, 8 weeks+...No one's called me to update , I called once a month going on mid May it's been months waiting. I gave up, not only did they not listen to my concerns, they tried to get me to sign off on $2k worth of root canals I DIDN'T NEED (or want), they also charge $200 for gas and will never call you back waiting on insurance. Going elsewhere.

Negative experience: They just lost 3 patients today! (mysefl, my son and daughter who all had appts this week) We’ve been coming here for 5 years not no more. They got new people in the office who dont know what they are doing! The lady Connie Beattie “supervisor” is rude and needs to find a new job! I watched her be so rude to her coworker right infront of me. Not the same group of workers from prev location. Very Disappointed, the same problem I had today is the similiar to a situation that one of my coworkers & mom had. Would NOT recommand them and its sad bc the hygengist my kids had all these years here was awesome who I think is gone too & I will NOT deal with rude people like Connie!

Fantastic experience: They are amazing! So polite and caring I could not ask for a better dentist. Dr Kareem was so helpful and the dental assistant Tina made sure everything was just right before sending me on my way. I would absolutely recommend to anyone and everyone!
