Everyone in the Pflugerville Family Dentistry office have just made my transition easy and reassuring because they showed a genuine patient care. On my 1st visit, Maria, the manager took the time to explain the treatment plan, she's very compassionate and have shown high customer service skills and with the highest level of professionalism. Dr. Chung's expertise and thorough explanations gave me the confidence and peace of mind with my dental implant work. From the moment Sydney, Dental assistant, roomed me in for my very 1st ever implant (2nd visit), she already sensed my anxiety and she made me feel very comfortable with the treatment. What i appreciated even more was the after care huddle that Dr. Chung gave, excellent communication skills. Negative experience: Worst experience of my life felt like I was being hustled my insurance pays 95% of my estimate yet still they expected me to pay extra 200 just to have my teeth a deep cleaning and then they only wanted to do one side of my mouth at a time never been through anything like this before and then I have 3 different insurance companies and still have to pay out of pocket I smell a rat

Fantastic experience: My goodness. What a great Dental Practice!! I’m 66 and have been to many dental facilities. This practice is the BEST! Even the Monday I called with a toothache they saw me the same day. They are very sensitive to my Dental fears based on previous experiences with others. It feels like family. Everyone is so kind and and friendly. It’s clean and well managed and I would know professionally. Don’t hesitate to book an appointment.

Negative experience: Still have not been called back to verify my insurance benefits.its been almost a month now. I've called continuously and have been told I would get a call back. My appointment was 4/9/25 & it is now 5/1/25 with no update. Very upset because I need to have work done before having a retainer made. Update 6/26/27: This place is horrible. I finally got a call back about them verifying my insurance benefits mid May. The pricing on my treatment plan was still not updated. My insurance covered most of what they were quoting me for but I was assured by the treatment/financial lady Sye that it would be fixed. They also had extra things added on my treatment plan that was not there before. Like $30 mouthwash. There was also laser therapy and scaling/root planing listed on there as well. This was out of pocket and costs 200 for my entire mouth that was only RECOMMENDED by the dentist and not medically necessary. This Laser(SRP) is used to treat gum disease which I DO NOT HAVE. But I decided I would give it a try. I finally got scheduled for 5/30/25 and immediately had to pay $100 upfront for half of my mouth. I was doing cleaning on half of my mouth and 3 fillings that day. After I get done with my cleaning they shined a red light on my gums for about a minute and that was all the laser therapy was. A complete waste. I go get my fillings with Dr.Le and everything was great. After scheduling my 2nd dental appointment for two weeks later I decided I did not want to do the laser on the 2nd half of my mouth. I called the office to let them know I just wanted the cleaning and fillings for the remaining left side. They told me the laser srp was COMPLEMENTARY with my cleaning ,"It comes with the cleaning" and that I could not opt out of it. The finance lady stated if I didn't get the laser they could not move forward with my cleaning and to cancel my appointment. All this dental office wants is MONEY. I have already reported them to the better business bureau. If you decide to go there which I hope you do NOT, look at your treatment plan and all that they are charging you. I believe they did this because they saw how good my dental benefits were and wanted to make a buck wherever they could.

Fantastic experience: From walking in until I left, I had the best service. The front office was friendly and everyone that did anything to my teeth were caring and concerned about my comfort. The dentist, Dr. Chung was awesome and also cared about my comfort. I don’t like going to the dentist but they made me feel so comfortable. Today came in for a procedure and a cleaning and once again it was an awesome experience! Dr. Chung explains everything he does and makes sure you are comfortable! Daisy cleaned my teeth and she was so gentle but thorough!! Great experience for a dental visit!! Front office is awesome and even text to make changes to appointments! Great find!!

Fantastic experience: Dr. Lee was absolutely amazing. I have pretty severe dental anxiety. She and her team made me feel so comfortable and went above and beyond to help me feel calm. She spent so much time talking to me about the procedure and with my husband and well. I never felt rushed although I know she was busy. Honestly she is the most kind and compassionate dentist I have been to.

I had been struggling with a dental issue for a long time and had seen other dentists 4, 5, even 6 times without answers. But on my very first visit here, they quickly identified the problem and resolved it—something no one else had done. Their professionalism and care made all the difference. I finally felt heard and taken care of. I can’t recommend them enough. If you’re looking for a dentist who truly knows what they’re doing and treats you with compassion, this is the one.

Fantastic experience: Update... Pflugerville Dentistry was extremely apologetic and to make things right I was offered and accepted a Free teeth whitening and Electric toothbrush. The staff were professional and courteous as always. I always refer friends to Pflugerville Dentistry because of the Professionalism and they make you a part of the family. I have been a patient for Pflugerville Family Dentistry for many years and received top notch customer service. Today I showed up for my scheduled 6 month cleaning and I had been removed from the scheduled appointment. They did get me in an hour later but that hour disrupted my scheduled leave return to work time by an hour. I did not receive any notification or reason why my original scheduled appointment was cancelled.

Negative experience: We have used this place for years, but we no longer see the same dentist we loved when we first started here. In my our most recent visits, it seems they are more about getting money than providing quality care. They refused to remove my permanent retainer unless I purchased a $300 removable retainer even though there is obvious gum damage due to the build up around my retainer. Fine. I finally paid the money. Now, I get a lecture about the shape of my gums every time I get a cleaning. (Yes, this is why I asked many times for the retainer to be removed.) The last draw was when they wanted to charge almost 3K for my son to have two crowns. They claimed that insurance wouldn’t cover any of it. Went to another dental office down the road, and they did the crowns and removed his wisdom teeth for way less than that. Oh, and the insurance did cover some of it. We won’t be back.

Dr Nguyen's precision was impressive. Izzy, the office administrator, was incredibly helpful and guided me in choosing the best credit line option. Overall, this place is a gem. I will definitely keep this place as my favorite dental destination. 6/4/2025 I arrived today expecting my obstruction procedure to be scheduled, only to discover it was actually set for tomorrow. Nevertheless, the staff managed to accommodate me in under an hour, and the entire process took less than thirty minutes. I have never experienced such professionalism and reassurance in a time of need and desperation. From the receptionists to the doctors, this establishment has earned my respect and has become like family to me. Thank you for the exceptional service.

They were sensitive to being sure I was comfortable and numb, nitrous is also offered. They've been very flexible in my treatment plan to work with my limited budget as well as maximizing my insurance.

I am at work in crisis. No time for calls. Then my wife calls. Crisis or not I pick up her calls.(Smart...lol) She say why aren't you picking up your phone? The Dentist called and wants you to confirm! I explain. Then I get there and they want me to CONFIRM my phone number because I didn't answer my phone! FIX IT!

She worked hard trying to save my teeth but after infections every few months she recommended dentures. So I threw darts at a board of dentists and landed on Family Dentistry. Family Dentistry removed my teeth 7 months ago and I went with snap on dentures. The staff is professional, friendly, patient and helpful every step of the process. I will continue to use Family Dentistry because of the people that work there. Dental Assistant EMILY who worked with me most of my visits is an extraordinary personality. She always listens to the problems you're having, finding ways to rectify the problem and always putting your needs first to help with a smooth transition. Everyone, every single person, is personable, patient, and engaging. The dentists and assistants are amazing. Even the administrators are the same. I cannot imagine going anywhere else, and if I had chiildren, no doubt they would appreciate it as well.

I haven’t been to the dentist in a few years, and I was pretty nervous given I haven’t had the best experiences in the past. But Dr. Lee made me feel super comfortable and explained the whole process and dental plan for myself extremely well! I highly recommend coming here to get any work done, especially if you care about kind and well knowledgeable staff. I was even able to squeeze in a last minute cleaning which was also very great! Fantastic experience: I had a great experience. Most noticeably, they checked in with how I was doing or asked me something personal periodically. When you are nervous, just checking in to show they are actively trying to make you calm–and also breaking the spinning thoughts–does wonders. Another noticeable thing is respect and transparency is above and beyond. They were only 5 min behind, and the receptionist came to my seat to give me an update. And they checked in on cost in a kind and unhurried manner that neither made me feel pressured to do anything nor did I feel like they didn't care if I left. They just want you to be okay with whatever you decide. More than anything they gave me hope in my other appointments across healthcare, just when I felt like no one was taking any of my terrible insurance anymore. They did take it. I'm sure it goes without saying that in healthcare, I'm used to the opposite of all these things.

Kenna is amazing. Efficient. professional and friendly. This is my new Dentist office 2nd appt today with Kenna And Dr Lee. Excellent care Adding on April 18th 2025. Still the most professional place I’ve Iever received dental care.

Fantastic experience: I needed all my top teeth replaced. The staff never made me feel ashamed. They were super friendly and talked me through the entire process. I was so nervous the day of the procedure, but they put me at ease. I came through fine. Totally would recommend.

Fantastic experience: This place is great! I hadn't been to the dentist in awhile, and my crown broke. They were able to get me in same day for a check up and cleaning, then back in a week or so for procedure. Dr. Joann was great - no pain during the procedure and excellent care by her and the staff!

Fantastic experience: Update: Went for my third appointment and still stand by my review below. By far the best experience I've had as a new patient in a dental office. Looking forward to being a long time patient. That's saying a lot for a dental practice.

Life has been tough financially.. you never knew but I have a daughter on the way and the last thing I expected was to need emergency dental work to put me in a deeper hole. I truly appreciate your kindness, you helped and worked with me not knowing how much of a burden off my shoulders that would be. I was born and raised in Pflugerville and my daughter will be too, I’m relieved knowing I can always take my family here and be taken care of. Fantastic experience: I have to say Pflugerville Family Dentistry is the best dental office I have been to in the 6 years i have lived in Texas. I am so happy to be soon getting my implants from a dentist i have full confidence in and totally trust with my mouth. I have been to different dental (like 10) places all over the area knowing that my need for implants was growing rapidly. My teeth were fine until radiation therapy for cancer. Prior to this i never had a tooth drilled, for me to be this relaxed for the upcoming procedure is a miracle. This dental office is responsive, clean, everyone is very professional and caring. I have never had to sit in the waiting room more than 5 min. They take their time and explain everything to you, so you have full understanding of the procedure you are having done.
