Fantastic experience: Best place ever, been going there for 7 years. Everyone is so nice and informative.

Negative experience: They do not care or listen to their patients. Especially when you tell them that your dentures pop out when you try to eat anything. Then they suggest a liner, in a month's time.

Fantastic experience: I just had knee replacement surgury two weeks before my appointment. Everyone was friendly. I was helped to the elevator and escoted to the waiting room. She even checked me in. When I left the dental assistant was kind enough to help with the doors. One of the reception ladies even got the exit door for me before i even got to the door. The people who work there are exceptional!

Fantastic experience: Had a wisdom tooth removed here on a 2 day notice appointment. Most oral surgeons in the area told me it would be months before I could be seen. Every single person I encountered here was incredibly nice. The Dr I would give 10 stars if I could. He was very patient, informative, and polite. It's obvious they take the term "patient friendly" serious. I would highly recommend Afdent to anyone.

Positive experience: Was there today to get a tooth pulled, the prices upfront is nice to hear vs at the end of the services! Reason for 4 stars cause the opening time of 7:30am is kinda weird when none of the ppl are there till 8am or after!

Negative experience: The scheduling/office employees gave me incorrect information about the medications I'd be given for a same day extraction. The front desk gave me incorrect information about billing and up-front payment. I told the doctors that I couldn't take ibuprofen due to kidney issues, but they kept telling me to alternate Tylenol and ibuprofen. They didn't prescribe any pain killers for after the procedure. They didn't provide an emergency phone number and left me in pain over the holiday weekend. The surgical staff was nice, though.

Fantastic experience: My Best Friend Works There, His Trey Hester A.K.A. Doctor Suavey, He's The Greatest Dentist In Indiana, Clients Love Him Very Much Like A Family To Him, I Miss Him So Much Since High School The Hesters Are Blessed

Negative experience: Would not recommend. Myself and two family members are so unhappy with the lack of fit and mistakes. So much time and money wasted just to have TMJ now that I have to pay for out of pocket. They even did damage to the metal implants in my mouth. Seems like all they care about is money.

Fantastic experience: My front crown came off due to biting into a peanut and the tooth underneath actually cracked in half. Needless to say I was horrified. I went in early the following day on Monday. The waiting room was crowded. However, the receptionist said they would work me in when time allowed, since this needed to be treated. I waited not so patiently, I was nervous and disappointed that had to go through this. The ladies were very nice up front, but I wished they had checked back with me for an update on timing, just for comfort. After an expected long wait, 3 hours they got me back there, listened to my story and started their work. The dentist came in after X-rays, the two dental assistants did a lot to make me comfortable and were very kind. I was given options on replacement, and the dentist allowed me to decide. Dental work is expensive, but I was relieved and hopeful again that it was possible to fix my smile. Thank you to the staff, the dentist’s skill and the dental assistants who did all the prep for my new crown. I was able to walk out of the Afdent on Parnell the very same day with my smile and confidence restored. Thank you all for your willingness and skill to do what was necessary at the time. I am a long time customer of Afdent and trust them always.

Friendly technicians, and the doctors always very kind caring and seems to be quite astute in his skills. The bedside manner as a chair side manner is always above average. I would highly recommend this place to To anyone needing dental services.

Negative experience: Update 3/2025- My dad needs to get dentures. For the price if a used car.. 10,000 he can get some teeth pulled and a full set!!! Can you believe that!!?? 10k!! There was no way that we were ever gonna do this. They can’t afford that and then just the other day the girl called and wanted to speak to my dad and I knew what it was about and I said what’s this in reference to and she said well he’s gotten the clearance for him to go ahead with his dental procedure. I said well my parents don’t have $10,000!!! This ended that conversation !! I made hey what are you doing? an appointment for my parent to come here because another family member had had a good experience. However, after the visit, I would not suggest using this business. The one thing my parent stated is that they were in an and out. My disappointment is that the appointment was made for a specific tooth. This wasn't even addressed at the visit! Of course they HAVE to take xrays! They did something entirely different but they didn’t have a problem using $300 worth of the benefits!!! I was the one that called made the appointment but then once I called back that day and spoke to the receptionist she said she would have a supervisor call me back .. joke!! That was over two weeks ago. I called back today and now suddenly they can’t speak to me because I’m not on the hippa but they can sure take that appt and take his benefits. Stay away from here. Their motto is Get the patient in, get the money, get them out. No care or concern for making things right! Shame on you afdent!!

Negative experience: Disappointed and false hope for the aftercare..poster child my ass I have insurance and paid out of pocket a little bit and still ended up having a dental infection? We’ll see next week what Dr Andrew I believe don’t quote me on the exact name. But personally feel I’m owed 467.00 back since I had insurance and never got that check back to me and still had dental coverage available at the end of the year for what I was doing

Fantastic experience: Needed a broken infected wisdom tooth pulled! My dentist referred me to other places because of how close it was to nerves, but the wait was until the end of April! I couldn't wait I called and took a chance on Monday 3/17/25 they told me to do a walk in that day! I bearly waited it was so fast! I was in & hour in just a few hours! Dr. Trey Hester pulled my tooth & was so kind and caring! 10/10 recommend him! I was hopeless to get this tooth pulled, and I was in so much pain! I'm so greatful for him

Negative experience: Cindy was my dental assistant. Honestly didn’t make me feel very welcomed. She was very nonchalant and didn’t give me full answers to my questions. I have two different insurance plans, the one I used at Afdent was under my moms name. And when I said I might go to a different dentist next time because I had my own insurance that would pay most of my bill. She said “well we really don’t care where you go next time”. In a very conniving voice. She just made me feel like I wasn’t important. Getting a tooth pulled was pretty nerve wrecking for me, and I just needed someone to be kind and caring to me during my experience

Fantastic experience: I am not one to quickly trust Drs.& or Dentists. Family and personal experiences kept me making do . I work closely with children of all ages and was questioned about my mouth on numerous occasions. It never mattered til it mattered to them . Well my school daughter (Darcell Galloway ) told me about this place she goes to and they make payments. I took my chances . When I pull up I realize I have dropped my granddaughters off here . Kashay & Kwshay Murray . Afdent has exceeded my expectations I have plenty of smiles and stories with my Top plate . I am getting a partial on the bottom in a couple of months . I been back plenty of times for things I thought to be wrong , but end up being perfectly normal on my road to healing !!! All Smiles . Only complaint I didn’t find them sooner . Smiling completely natural on down to the gap . Now the kids make a game of seeing my new teeth drop down at random . lol

However, from the moment of being called back by Rachel for xrays and the full appointment her friendliness made me feel at ease. She is so sweet and amazing along with the remainder of the staff. Fantastic experience: This is the place to go if you need any dental work done! They take most/if not all types of insurances and have workable financial payment plans. I've had to get 4 teeth extracted recently and the doctors and techs made it extremely painless - constantly checking in to make sure that I was comfortable. The ladies in the lobby were very nice and sympathetic. Although the wait was a bit long at times (for walk-ins) the overall experience made it worthwhile. They helped me slowly begin to to overcome my phobia of going to the dentist.

Fantastic experience: Wow where do I even begin to start?! This was by far the most wonderful experience I’ve ever had when it comes to dentures, this makes my 3rd pair of dentures. Negative experience: I call in prior to the day I want to get my tooth removed because it’s been killing me and the lady said I don’t need an appointment I can just walk in. Next I went at 9:30am and believe it or not I had to wait until 2:30 just to leave without getting in. I counted about 20 people who came after me and “apparently they all appointments”. Just to make matters worst the nurse even felt bad for me and said your gonna be next, but the lady at desk let the next two people get in before me while she was giving me the side eye. Sad to say but this place is getting worse every time I make a visit.

Negative experience: If you do a walk in I recommend to go somewhere else because I’ve been waiting 4 hours and I did not like it and they do not help you fast but if you want to come here make sure to be prepared because you might wait 4+ hours. Really upset with my visit and might be my last time being here.

Negative experience: I had a root canal on Friday back on Monday, was told will get RX for swelling and pain. Only 1 called in after double checking with Dr. The hygienist KAREN, (LITERALLY) DID NOT SEND ON PURPOSE TWICE IN 1 HOUR. THIS IS BAISED ON HOW DOCTORS TREAT BLACK WOMEN. I'm at the pharmacy crying. This is on purpose and they ment to keep me in pain. They wanted to drill on me in pain without numbing first, INSANE. Numb m and drilled and no pain med juzt swelling med. QThen no med so even more pain. Thank you for all you do???

Fantastic experience: Most thorough cleaning and comprehensive exam I’ve ever had after belonging to several area long term dental offices. Easy check in, accomodated pre-med that I had forgotten. I had a caring & knowledeable dental hygenist, Laura, who understood my complex case and x-rays did not hurt me which was an unexpected surprise. Dr Paige was upbeat and positive and I left with a sense of relief that I will continue to be in great hands here at Afdent❣️

Fantastic experience: I have Invisalign trays and my treatment has made a huge improvement in both my smile and my bite. Everyone is friendly and professional and genuine. I experienced a minor problem with one of my trays and stopped by to make an appointment. They took care of me immediately. I’d give them more than five stars if that was an option.

Fantastic experience: Very professional, friendly and caring staff!! It all started with a very painful abscessed tooth. My teeth were not bad looking but they were very sensitive to cold and pressure and I had worn them down over many years of grinding. My crowns were old, and I knew there were many issues to address. After Dr Parker Pecina addressed all the obvious issues I decided to do a whole mouth restoration. My teeth look and feel great!!! I’m so happy I chose to trust this work to them!

Fantastic experience: Quick, professional, explained procedure well, you know what you were gonna pay 100% outright, no secrecy or surprise expenses. Each person was kind and seemed to know thier ho well. 10/10 do recommend. Will be going back in few weeks with no fear of what's to come. They got me out of pain without adding to it. Negative experience: Very much felt mom shamed during my appointment today. I had no one to watch my son and hygienist was being very passive aggressive to me having him with me. Ended up not wanting to deal with it and rescheduled me. Was rushed out of there so fast I wasn’t given an appointment card. I’ve always had wonderful experiences when I had my son but with this one it definitely made me cry on my way home. I’ll definitely be finding me a new dentist after this experience.

Fantastic experience: Amazing staff! My daughter sees Lindsey and Natalie in the Orthodontist Building, both women are energetic, friendly and professional. Easy to change appointments, this office truly works with you. My daughter had an emergency and they quickly scheduled her in. I would never go anywhere else.

Fantastic experience: You can tell the staff here really values you as a person from making the appointment over the phone to the ladies at the front desk and most importantly the doctors taking care of you. I was a walk in on Friday because of a a slightly infected wisdom tooth. For being a walk in I expected to have a long wait. It took about 3 hrs for me to be seen. Once I was called back the staff was vary kind supportive and made sure I was as comfortable as I could be to have my tooth pulled. I for sure will be coming back!

Fantastic experience: READ IF YOU HAVE DENTAL ANXIETY… I was Very hesitant to get my wisdom tooth pulled, I called over 20 oral surgeons and dentists and was going to have to wait up to 5 months to get my tooth pulled. I was in pain and could not wait that long. I stumbled across Afdent and decided to try their walk in Emergency Dental service. The idea of getting my tooth pulled worried me as I’ve not needed any major dental work prior to that. I walked in and was greeted warmly by the receptionists, after 5 minutes of paperwork I was already waiting to be seen. For being an out of state patient I couldn’t believe I was seen with in 30 minutes. Once I was called back my DA Simontha was amazing, she did such a good job reassuring me and explaining the process. We discussed my options and pricing and once I decided what I wanted, she immediately got to work. It cost me nearly half of what I was told to budget by other dentists! The most pain I felt was the slight prick from the needle to numb my gums. Dr. Moore took less than 30 seconds to remove my wisdom tooth, I was completely shocked at how quickly he was done. I didn’t believe him initially when he told me he was done already. Absolutely NO pain what so ever. They gave me some gauze and explained the after care process and sent me on my way home. I was back home in less than 3 hours start to finish. I even called later that day with some follow up questions and the receptionist was also extremely helpful and reassuring. The bottom line is, Afdent really has a good caring environment, I can’t say enough good things about the staff I worked with. Plus the ability to arrange payments is an absolute God send! It sounds cliched but I’d give them 6 stars if I could!

Fantastic experience: I have had multiple difficulties after dealing with getting my health back in better condition in going through multiple surgeries w/4 discs removed, knee replacement, both feet tendon’s surgically repaired that I haven’t been able to work like I’ve physically done all my life. I busted a few teeth and couldn’t chew food for weeks. My folks encouraged me to call Afdent where they go. I didn’t even keep, the got me in early the next morning and a 3 woman crew did the most phenomenal job in consulting me on the best way financially on the diff avenues to go down while looking at the X-rays, then we went about the best route to fix my current situation. They did in 3 hours, w/the horrible mess I brought them, others would have scheduled multiple visits, these most talented Dental Professionals on the planet said what they would be able to do and DID IT! Fantastic experience: My daughter had a cleaning and xrays, then she had to have her braces adjusted. Afdent does such an amazing job making sure that my daughter is comfortable and happy. Everyone at the general office is kind and sweet. They address our every need. We really enjoy going to the orthodontist building where Lindsey makes ever visit one to remember. You can tell that Lindsey's really enjoyes her job. She goes out of her way to make sure that my daughter understands what is changing and what needs to be adjusted for her braces. I wouldn't choose anywhere else to take my daughter.

Negative experience: Lost my husband personal information social security number and address do not hope your personal information is secure! When you call you will be talked over then when you keep talking they will threaten to disconnect when you tell them they are speaking over you! Not the other way around Jennifer the manger will not provide a last name but expects it’s okay to loose personal information! I have the entire conversation recorded this is how afdent runs there medical facilities? I would love a call but I’m sure it won’t happen so I’m here to warn all people they have lost his personal information and then tried to tell him he never filled the forms out! When he got home I called and they have found it medical facilities can’t keep track of important information probably time to clean house! I’ll be sending this to the state and the head office thank you Jenny for your unprofessional attitude

Fantastic experience: Leslie was my hygienist and she did amazing on cleaning my teeth! The last time I had a cleaning I had braces on, I got them off earlier this year and Leslie got the rest of the left over glue from braces off. She did all this without causing any pain! 12/10 satisfaction with the job Leslie did!

Fantastic experience: Honestly I normally don't like dentist and sometimes when you go to the dentist you don't really feel comfortable. Well this place was warm, welcoming and comfortable. Fantastic experience: Went in today for a toothache, turns out it was an abscessed tooth. The procedure to remove said tooth was quick and painless. The care they provided was great and everyone involved was top notch.

Fantastic experience: I had fun at my first time there! The staff was so friendly, I've never really encountered a company staff that was that friendly and a long long time! My first impression, was how big their facility is! I guess I could call it a dental hospital! They do all the normal cleanings, but they can handle walk-in, and emergency pain reducing surgeries most often on the same day and time that you walk in! Much better experience than a normal dentist office. They tell you what needs to be done, but they don't high pressure you into it.

Positive experience: this last visit was good, but i had issues and maybe others did as well by getting a message saying something like ," if you dont contact us by noon we will cancel your appointment" we would get cards in the mail ahead of time stating that if we was going to cancel to call or the appointment would be scheduled as is. i did not mind it being less people there less wait time and parking was easier, because of many cancelations. over all it goes well for me each time in my opinion. life happens though

Fantastic experience: Called my regular dentist for a broken tooth. They said since I had not been seen in over 2 years I would have to get cleaning and exam first. I said no. I called afdent they got me in same day. Fixed 2 fillings and did extraction. No problems. Was greatful. Then to top it off they offered me financing so very happy with them!

Fantastic experience: Afdent in Fort Wayne Indiana has been a delight to be doing business with. They have treated me with the upmost respect and they keep you informed every step of the way. What I find the most gratitude for with them is that it seems they know and do more for a person than any other place I've been. From the doctor, nurse, lab and receptionist, they all know how to give an answer. Like payment, insurance and all the steps necessary to carry out oral health and prevention. Fantastic experience: Went in with a lot of anxiety and was treated with kindness and respect. I was walked through everything before it took place and that helped to reduce "cavity filling"anxiety. The dentist and his assistant had very good chairside manners, and so far so good. It's been less than 24 hours so I'm still not out of the woods.

Fantastic experience: Carla is fabulous, through and educates too. She really goes above just cleaning. The dentist was nice very gentle and explain the treatment he recommended very well.

Fantastic experience: Super friendly every step of the way. Not to mention they walked me to where I needed to go and talked to the receptionist for me as to where I was going and who I was. Very quick as well. From checking in to getting where I needed to be. The process was very quick too and they made me feel so comfortable because I was super nervous. But they did what they could to ensure I was as okay as I was going to be. The extraction was easy and fairly quick. Best dentist ever!! And Elizabeth was awesome my actual dentist was too but I can’t remember his name.
