Advanced Dental Care of Twin Falls

Fantastic experience: I’ve been seeing Dr Rencher for a long time. I went to him after a terrible experience at another dentist’s office. He and his staff are always incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. I referred my brother to him a few years ago when he needed all of his teeth removed for dentures. We were talking about it last week and he talked about how awesome Dr Rencher is. I’ll never go anywhere else! Thanks to Hailey Jo for an excellent experience on my teeth cleaning today.

Negative experience: I scheduled Dr. Rencher out 1.5 months for a crown. when I finally went in I was in the middle of the procedure and he was running between me and another patient. I found it very frustrating that he would be double booked, and very unprofessional. then when my permanent crown arrived it was totally flat! no grooves nothing. I found out that he used ai to create it, why not just use the mold that they had of my tooth? it makes no sense at all. so I get this flat crown cemented into my mouth, it has no grooves. after I complained, they went in with a drill and made some little indentations. I was baffled after paying 1,400 out of pocket, I had a marginal crown in my mouth. Never going back to advanced.

Fantastic experience: I had a great experience the staff was amazing! Dr Kepner listened to my concerns and came up with a great treatment plan.

Negative experience: I'm disappointed to say the least. When you first go, they really do treat you like royalty. But they certainly don't care. My insurance company pays $1,000 toward covered services for a contracted provider, and only $500 for non-contracted providers. I just got this insurance and I didn't know that. So when they told me my maximum benefit was $500 I just took their word for it. I ended up spending about $2,500 out of pocket for a root canal, crown and cleaning. My cleaning alone was $480 and didn't include fluoride varnish. I was under the impression that my cleaning was going to be covered at 100% since it was a preventative service. When I checked out AFTER my cleaning, that's when they decided it was a good time to tell me that I would have to pay nearly $500 for a service that should be free, since they were not a contracted provider with my insurance. I feel like if they are going to go above and beyond to make your experience amazing, the billing department should probably be involved in that process by accurately informing you that they are not contracted with your insurance and therefore your benefits would be lower. And also by letting you know that your cleaning would not be covered. I feel like I was taken advantage of. This really put me in a bind financially. Now I have to find a new dentist.

Fantastic experience: Haileyjo was very professional and took the time to explain everything before she acted. Super clean building with friendly staff and knowledgeable. They took the time to get payment information before doing the work. From the front deck to leaving the building was great. Very new age feeling with “advanced” technology. After years of fear from dental care and bad providers, nice to find a great dentist and staff.

Fantastic experience: Exceeded my expectations by FAR! Being shown around when I first got there made me feel more comfortable, and welcome since I was a new patient and the awesome dental assistants were wonderful and nice. Also, ya can't beat the view of the canyon while you're laying on your chair! Thanks again for making me feel so welcome!

Fantastic experience: My wife and I have been going to Advanced Dental for years and we love the staff. Tauna has been my hygienist for several years now and she does an amazing job. We recently moved our 2 young boys over from another establishment and we are glad we did. Everyone is so friendly and they make a point to make you comfortable. I couldn't ask for more friendly or better service. I will continue to go there as long as I live in Twin Falls and I highly recommend them to anyone looking for dental care.

Fantastic experience: I absolutely love Bri as my hygienist, she’s super fast and fun to talk to! Dr. Rencher has been awesome helping me figure out some tricky dental issues. Highly recommend!

Negative experience: I went here for a second opinion and at first it was impressive. They treat you like royalty. After that first visit you're treated like a normal person. I went in with severe tooth pain after a previous dentist did a filling 2 months prior. At first they saw nothing and said give it more time. However; while at this visit the dentist noticed my bite was off and broke a piece of my tooth off. Which the dental office I went to today, confirmed Anyway, I was still in pain and went back and they decided I would need a crown done. I made the appointment and on my way I went. Within two days however, my tooth completely quit throbbing. I called to cancel my crown appointment and they fought me on this saying the pain would come back. They called a lot about seeing me again. It was almost harassment A year later and still no pain. I do not recommend this place.

Fantastic experience: I once took a healthcare leadership training course that applied Disney’s customer service “magic” to healthcare. I feel like Advanced Dental has nailed this concept! There really is no comparison to other dental providers. Kudos!!!

Fantastic experience: They hurt me. I was in extreme pain and distress. But we managed to control it. Seriously, they did a great job. I actually enjoyed my 4 hours of pain and misery. Now....the craters they left in my mouth are another thing. No way am I sharing photos! I look like a toothless hillbilly!

The office is beautiful and the view of the canyon just amazing. The actual work done was also top notch and I’m sad I don’t live here to have them as my regular dentist

Fantastic experience: I had such an great experience at Advanced Dental! They offer a comfort menu before your cleaning, where you can choose from things like bottled water, a weighted blanket, and chapstick, just to name a few things listed, just to make sure you’re comfortable for your appointment. The hygienist who cleaned my teeth did a great job and I had a wonderful experience overall. Not to mention, it’s a cleaning with an amazing view.

Positive experience: Great service, nice and thoughtful. I find it wierd and funny that I get billed even though I tell them that they will get paid... then the next visit I have a credit. This has been going on for years.

Fantastic experience: I enjoyed my visit to Advanced Dental. It is a great place with professional staff. My dental hygienist Bri was skillful, understanding and knowledgeable. All my questions were answered before I saw the doctor. I never had an interest in details until I saw the amazing 3d scans and technology used. It drew me in. I would highly recommend anyone to Advanced Dental.

Positive experience: Awesome dental provider, as long as you say “yes” to everything they propose for your mouth. “Get him scheduled for this”… “we are going to do that,”… Decisions are made on your behalf with no consideration of what you want. I allowed it once and it leads to redoing procedures that produced complications. The doc became irritated when I declined a filling, after also declining a sixteen thousand dollar cosmetic option (which, truth be told I did inquire about but cannot currently afford nor do I need it). Some folks don’t like being railroaded and no, I may not be interested in unnecessary dental pain. Unbecoming of someone who is usually pleasant. However understand please: Your advice is just that, advice, and a recommendation does not imply urgent intervention, it’s preventative maintenance. It isn’t my spine or my brain or my heart, it’s a tooth… a tooth that has been fine for 15 years. Considering what I have previously spent with other dental offices (out of pocket, not insurance) to have nice teeth, I could have bought two Harley Davidsons, so I am not neglectful. But perhaps with just cleanings I am not giving enough assistance to this dental practice to meet their financial goals. Normally I am treated with respect and have autonomy over my own body. Apart from that, this place is excellent. High-tech, client-focused, every angle covered. A shining star business which the community is lucky to have. Keep up the good work.

Fantastic experience: I came in for an emergency appointment due to a broken tooth. The process was explained, care was taken to make sure I was comfortable and calm. The team continued to check on me through out the procedure. I scheduled a teeth cleaning and exam due to how comfortable and caring everyone was. I had my teeth cleaning today with HaileyJo and it was the best dentist experience I've had. She took the time to explain, encourage, cared and showed compassion for my anxiety and fears. Even though it's been 8+ years since my last dental and cleaning, there was no judgements, just understanding and compassion. I'm actually looking forward to going back. I really appreciate everyone that I have had interactions with.

Positive experience: I have a lot of anxiety about dental offices and I have been to a couple that I didn't care for . Everyone here from the receptionist all the way to the hygienist and all the in betweens were wonderful, kind and informative. Will go back :)

Fantastic experience: I came here with my boyfriend who has a lot of dental issues and myself who can sometimes have panic attacks. They were kind, transparent, and helped us make a good plan going forward and made sure we both felt comfortable. All the staff are courteous and well informed. The clinic is always well cleaned and office staff are very organized and put together. Nothing negative to say! It’s a great place to go for your dental needs.

Fantastic experience: Easily the best dental practice I’ve ever been to. The staff take great pains to make the experience as enjoyable as going to the dentist could possibly be. The rooms face the golf course with an awesome view, the building has been beautifully remodeled, and they employ the most cutting edge state of practice technologies. Most importantly Hailey (Hygienist) and Dr Kepner are very competent and compassionate. I almost wish I wasn’t moving away because this Practice really has their act together. You can feel their vision and drive in how they operate and should serve as a model of how Dentistry should be.

Not only was my experience a 5 because of how well the staff treated me and the excellent care from Dr Rencher, but also because Bethany personally wheeled me into the office in a wheelchair they provided to me becasu I had an injury preventing me to walk on my own. I highly recommend you visit them for you dental work. Also you can see the remodel of the reception area that just became open yesterday.

The excellent customer service starts long before you even get to the office. They have a wonderful reminder system, and flexible schedule, making it easy to work around my schedule.
