Fantastic experience: Let’s just start with the phone interaction with Ms. Lameka amazing! Even though I was in pain, she made the booking process painless and incredibly easy. After flying in to make it on time (safely, of course), Lameka quickly gathered my ID and insurance information and had me squared away in no time, all with a high level of professionalism. The back office staff took over seamlessly and provided excellent care the rest of the way. Overall experience: 10/10. I’ll definitely be recommending this dental office!

Fantastic experience: My wisdom tooth broke off and I was in a lot of pain. The front desk staff were very friendly, helpful and professional especially Lamika (I hope I spelled it correctly). They saw me anyway even though they were not in network with my out of state insurance. Dr. and his dental assistance were great. He explained all that was going on and what needed to be done. Because I have to drive 4 hours back home the next day, I decided not to have the extraction done. The Doctor was understanding. He gave me pain and antibiotic prescriptions, he numb my tooth and gave me Ibuprofen for the pain. The front desk receptionist, Lamika, explained my payment options, as well as what could be done for those of us who have fear of dentist - which I truly appreciate. So far, great experience. If it doesn't go well with my dentist at home, I'll return here.

Negative experience: Worst dental clinic I have experienced in my entire life. Week management and low quality work.

Negative experience: Poor communication, Long wait time, Misleading information, Unprofessional behavior, lack of proper care, I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.

Negative experience: Terrible and unprofessional service, The doctor at this clinic does not pay attention to the patient’s concerns. They promise to finish dental treatment within a week, but end up wasting your time for a month. It feels like they are only interested in taking your money. I truly regret coming to this clinic—if I had known earlier, I would have stayed away, The receptionist is also very rude, bad experience of my life.

Positive experience: I’ve been a customer here @ Expert Smiles for decades. And, never had the Dr./ dentist to assess work or offer me any feedback or be seen after my cleaning. However, today was my first time under this new ownership that I felt great about my experience and the feed back I received regarding my dental cleaning. Annie and Diamond are both exceptional staff. Great experience!

Fantastic experience: I had all four of my wisdom teeth removed, and was super anxious about the whole ordeal. Googling every possible complication kind of anxious... When I got my x-ray, the dentist was ready to do it same day! Unfortunately, I had to wait a week due to time conflicts. The wait was inconsequential though, because when I finally got them out, it was a smooth procedure. It took 2 hours, but only 5 minutes of it was the actual extraction. The rest of the time was waiting to make sure the local anesthesia was in full effect. I'm on day 7 now, and have no pain whatsoever (stopped feeling pain on day 3, honestly). Staff were also incredibly sweet, especially the two women at the front! If I could stay in MD, this would be my go-to dentist hands down <3

Fantastic experience: I found Expert Smiles College Park, Md on a Google Search. The location was convenient to where I live. I called and spoke to Ms. Miriam who was very helpful and knowledgeable. I informed her that I was looking for a gentle dental hygienist and she made my appointment for the same day with Ms. Brenda. When I tell you that I have NEVER had a hygienists are gentle and thorough as her is an understatement. The Doctor was very knowledgeable and explained what I needed to assist with tightness in my jaw. Roberto came in and fitted me for a night guard. Once everything was completed Ms. Yesenia was amazing with my check out. Hands down I am very happy to have found Expert Smiles. Amazing service, care and overall experience.

Fantastic experience: This is the dental office I have been wanting for my whole life! The receptionists always greet me and are friendly. The pricing is fair and they will work with you for dental work that is more involved. There are several dental hygienists, but it means the world to me that they accommodate me and I always get the same one who I connected with and felt comfortable with from the beginning. They are gentle, honest and give options. I could not be happier with them.

Fantastic experience: Have been going to Expert Smiles for the past 30 years, with three different owners. I’ve recommended all 3 ‘generations’ through the years, and the newest edition upholds and even upgrades the standards and customer service that I appreciate in a modern dental practice, while at the same time, providing a personal touch- particularly, taking the time to answer questions and suggest alternative methods of treatment. Also- despite my extensive dental procedures, a very gentle touch. Highly recommend this practice.

Fantastic experience: Had my teeth cleaned and it was a very comfortable experience even though she said she needed to do a deep cleaning. I do need to go back and have a crown put on a tooth that I cracked on some popcorn. Hopefully, that will go as smoothly too.

The dental hygienist, Anne, was very professional, gentle, and she offered me some good advice about how to use my electric toothbrush in a better way to take care of the plaque. I've been going to this dental office for several years, and even though it's not covered by insurance, I won't go anywhere else.

I had a wonderful friendly experience starting from the front desk personnel to the dental hygienist and both staff members that took my X-rays and including the dentist. Fantastic experience: I cannot express enough gratitude to the people at Expert Smiles Dental for what they have helped me with. I was having a lot of pain with my teeth for years but because my insurance (United Healthcare) said it didn't cover dental I had to wait til I saved up enough to go back. Well, I finally bit the bullet when the pain got worse and I was given an emergency appointment the next day! The women working at the front desk were extremely helpful and understanding when it came to not only my dental needs but my financial situation. They tried their best to get me the best price I could afford and explained it in an easy to understand way. The Dentist I saw told me about the Maryland Health Smiles Dental Coverage and REALLY insisted that I get it since it would cover EVERYTHING I needed done. When I told him I had Medicaid he happily told me that THAT is what the Maryland Healthy Smiles Dental Coverage IS. Without him insisting that I get that (I was reluctant because I can't afford another insurance), I would have NEVER known that I was COMPLETELY COVERED. I was so happy I broke down crying an one of the ladies hugged me. I had been in that office worried about not being able to pay back the money in a timely matter since I only make $150 a week and with the work I needed done, I would have been looking at maybe $10,000 when everything was over. I will be continuing to go there because they have given me hope that maybe I'll be able to smile again WITHOUT my mask on in front of people.

Fantastic experience: I was feeling sick from a wisdom tooth abscess. I reached out to expert smiles and they were able to see me the same day. The night receptionist I spoke with the night before was so nice when I told her I was feeling sick. The staff was courteous and knowledgeable. I was able to get a diagnosis and medicine until I can schedule my procedure. So grateful to the staff, and they didn't charge me an outrageous fee for my visit.

As soon as we entered Lameka checked us in with such positive energy! There wasn’t a long wait time. The Techs & Doctor were all very friendly and helpful and explained everything thoroughly. We had multiple options for treatment and two insurance options, Lameka explained the difference between waiting for pre authorization vs using the 2nd insurance option where it would end up costing more. She was the highlight of the visit, great energy, friendly and welcoming when dentist visits stress my partner out! 10/10 recommend !

They treat you so well from the moment you get there and explain everything from start to finish. I was extremely nervous about my Extractions because i have a high tolerance to pain medications so i knew pain was eminent. But they are so professional and on point that i couldn’t be happier. Fantastic experience: I came here with a horrible tooth pain that not even Advil could solve. I came in early Saturday as a new patient walk in and the staff was my saving grace. Diamond especially really helped me get seen and she was so sweet ! They worked so quickly (even tho they had 1 doctor working). They ended up performing a root canal on the spot! They explained everything and set clear next steps. Plus it wasn’t as expensive as it thought it would be given the procedure.

Having Dr. Salimi as your dental provider is having the best dental practitioner in the country, and his staff truly reflects his high standards. Negative experience: Got a root canal from them 2 years ago, only to find out it failed and now I have to get the tooth pulled. My wife also had to wait 40 minutes in the dentist chair for 40 minutes before anyone came to see her. Avoid if you can

Negative experience: I've been visiting this place for quite some time, and I used to really enjoy it because the appointments were quick and the atmosphere was never too busy. However, after returning two years later, I've noticed a lot of changes. Now, it seems pointless to make an appointment since I end up waiting nearly an hour past my scheduled time, and there’s hardly any seating available due to the crowd. During my last visit, after all that waiting, the "doctor" barely addressed my concerns. He only looked at two of my teeth and mentioned a root canal without taking the time to check on other issues I wanted to discuss. I'm really disappointed and I'm not sure if I want to continue my visits here.

Fantastic experience: Looking for a dentist seemed like a nightmare. I read negative review after review for so many offices. Cue Expert Smiles. I saw they seemed like a local favorite so I scheduled myself to be seen by them. I received a link by text to fill out all my new patient information which I loved because it meant I didnt have to be at the office 20 minutes early to complete that paperwork. When it came time for my cleaning, I was very nervous. The last time I had been to a dentist was 5 years ago. The hygienist was very courteous and professional. She made the cleaning as comfortable as she could for me despite how much she had to clean. Some pain here and there but that was expected as I hadn’t seen a dentist in so long. All in all the experience was great. I could see a difference in my teeth with just the beginning phase of my cleaning, let alone when she was done. As long as I live in the area Expert Smiles will be my dentist. I am very happy with the choice I made.

Positive experience: Mediocre dental experience. The dental hygienist did something today where she used a high pressure water spray to clean my teeth and I got sprayed a LOT. My shirt got wet, it was dripping down my neck, etc. I also had sensitivity in one molar, the hygienist said point-blank there was no way it was a cavity, cleaned my teeth and said the Dr. would be right in. Then another woman bustled in and said, okay, time for your xrays, have to make sure you don't have a cavity as there's no way to know without them! Very frustrating experience, especially since it turns out it's just gum recession from clenching my teeth but no treatment was offered/discussed except a sensodyne toothpaste. Which, obviously, will not change the fact that I clench my teeth at night and will just mask the symptoms. The doctor also only saw me for 45 seconds or so, didn't even use the little mirror to check my mouth.

Negative experience: Terrible and unprofessional service. They don’t explain what they are doing during procedures, provide you with all the information you need or simply acknowledge you as a person. The receptionist are also very rude and ghetto and once you express that you have had an issue with your care, they will question you a million times over and over and tell you that you are the problem. And then proceed to keep calling from other numbers to yell to and further question you. Wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.

Fantastic experience: At Expert Smiles I feel very comfortable to ask questions about treatment being administered. The environment is comfortable and the staff is professional. Patient comfort and relaxation is key. Quality of service is is very high.

Fantastic experience: This was my first time going here and i wish i came here sooner. The service is great, i love everybody’s energy especially the two ladies in the front on computers. Soon as i came in i felt comfortable immediately. I came in to get my wisdom teeth out and within 30-45 seconds 2 of them we’re out after being completely numb. They will now be my permanent dentist office.

Negative experience: The cleaning was done well. However, the dental examination was superficial to say the least. This is the second post-cleaning examination I have had with Dr. Salimi. In both cases, the examination took less than one minute. (I was timing them.) Dr. Salimi has prominently displayed his “Top Doc” award in the waiting room. I suspect these were given on the basis of his pleasant personality, but not on the quality of his services. I am not alone in my complaints. Many people from my neighborhood that went to his practice are also dissatisfied with his care. I will be leaving this practice.

Fantastic experience: Great service and profound with their work. Multiple doctors with the same mission and care for their patients. My mom needed her teeth done (her front teeth) and insurance denied multiple times until front desk made sure they got them approved. Very happy with their work. 10/10
