Dr. Drew genuinely cares about his patience. The next day I went in to get my first cleaning. It was the most amazing experience. I have never left the dentist office feeling great and relieved. Sierra is my hygienist for life! I truly appreciated her upbeat attitude and her skill. She has found her calling! I want to thank everyone at Champagne dentistry from the moment I walked into the office at the reception area (Bri helped me immensely with my insurance issues) through everyone who assisted me. Josh did an excellent job job not hurting my mouth while taking X-rays! Rare!!! The long and the short of it is, I highly recommend Champagne dentistry. Best experience I’ve ever had at a dentist office!

Fantastic experience: My hygienist was very good snd efficient with me even after being away from the dentist for several years. I had 2 crowns spaced 1 week apart and it was as pleasant as it could be. Dr Wiltsie and Alexa were a great team and did a great job.

Negative experience: I contacted them a full month and a half ahead of my appt to update my insurance. I emailed the info as instructed by the front desk. A week before the appt I was notified via automated email that my insurance was out of date. Confused, I emailed the info again and called to ensure receipt. Caught the office voicemail. Called 5 more times over the week, each time catching VM and requesting a callback to ensure the updated info was received prior to my upcoming appt. Never heard back. I show up to the appt.. am told again at check in that my insurance info needs updating. I provide the new info again in person... I'm told that they need to call my provider to confirm. I wait around for a half hour, and am finally called up to the desk: told that they still haven't heard back from my insurance, so I wouldn't be able to get my cleaning. I mention that I sent them this info a month and a half ago, and subsequently a week ago, and have called numerous times with absolutely no communication in return. I'm told that the front office staff has been overwhelmed... so they haven't had time to check their voicemail or emails apparently (?)... Dr. Champagne might want to look into overhauling some of his processes or hiring some additional staff so that patients aren't falling through the cracks. The whole scenario was inconsiderate of my time, considering I had to take off work for the appt, and the fact that I was trying to be a courteous patient by providing this info ahead of time. Going elsewhere from now on.

Fantastic experience: I must say this was the best experience in a dental office I've ever had and I've been around awhile. I almost hesitate to say how great it was, in fear of not being able to get my next appointment, but they well deserve the praise. Dr. Wiltsie made me totally at ease and explained what he was doing in detail as we went. The "numbing" was expertly administered with no pain or residual effects. The process was completed quickly and with no discomfort at all. No waiting time to eat. Yay! The Assistant Bryan was careful, gentle, and precise. No choking or drowning. All in all, it was the best ever! God bless them and keep them both here forever!

Negative experience: Dentistry services are very good. But I'm very disappointed. I'm a cash customer and have spent $14,755 there in the past couple of years - all cash~! They charge me what they charge the insurance companies, who never pay even 50% of the bill, and then it's months later. So I set an appointment to talk to Dr. Drew about a discount for cash payments, which I pay on the day of the service. And they want to charge me $150.00 just to talk to him about their exorbitant charges~!! So I'm done...looking for a new dentist.

Negative experience: I started going to champagne family dentistry when they first opened, they were great. Over the years they have grown enormously. With that said, they have taken on too many patients and too many doctors rotate in and out with a new doctor every visit and appointments being denied due to booking errors. I have had to reschedule my child’s appointment 4 times now. It is so frustrating and quite frankly irresponsible of the office to keep taking new patients.

Negative experience: The hygienist cleaned my teeth for a total of 2 minutes after waiting for over 20 to be seen for my appointment. The gal doing my x-rays did 4 x-rays before realizing she never put the machine up to my cheek. The dentist only came to do a check of my teeth upon my request, although every dentistry i’ve been to they come over to check regardless. Worst dentist experience i’ve ever had :”(

Fantastic experience: After a horrible experience at Absolute I was looking for a good dental office and my co-worker suggested Champagne. They made me feel so comfortable, everyone was so kind and answered all my questions. And best part is they didn't try to upsell me on things I didn't need! They were even able to get me into a same day cleaning! Highly recommend this location.

Fantastic experience: Friendly Staff and Good service. The only concern i have is my refund that they did not send to my new address. I keep calling them and left a message a lot of times but i did not get any call back.

Negative experience: Bad customer service, bad dentistry, bad attitudes, bad billing. Me and my girlfriend had the same procedure (teeth cleaning and filling) done on the same day, we work the same job with the same insurance and had the same doctor do our procedures. And while they told us that we wouldnt have to pay anything with our insurance, my girlfriend paid 300$ while ive been charged 1000. It started with them calling us 4 times each asking us to confirm our insurance. Eqch time they told us everything was good. We finally get to the office on for our appiontment and we are told that they have to cancel our appiontment becuase our insurance was never confirmed. So we reschedule after being told that insurance would be taken care of by our next visit. We get there and seemingly everything is ok with our insurance we proceed to get our teeth donr but the dentist basically cemented two of my teeth together so now i cant even floss those two teeth and for my girlfriend they tried to "repair" part of her tooth that had work done on it previously but simply left it worse than it started. It took them 6 months to even send us a bill. Which to my surprise i owed 1000$ when my girlfriend only paid 300 (even when we were told it wpuldnt cost us anything) and when looking at my bill, it looked like i had 400$ worth of charges that were charged to my account "just cuz." I got on the phone serveral times since then to try to resolve the issue. I went to their office to resolve this twice, and since that didnt work i tried to call their billing department. The first time i called they said "we'll call you back" still waiting on that call. Then i called again the next day asking for a manager. I was told "They'll call you back" still waiting for that call. So it seems to me that they are riding off the glory of former doctors that no longer work for this office. Save yourself the pain and stress. Go somewhere else.

Fantastic experience: I had my teeth cleaned a couple weeks ago. It was a great experience. Today I had a Root Canal. A couple pinchie pinchies nothing serious absolutely no pain. Job well done. I highly recommend Champagne Family Dentistry. Very friendly and professional.

Negative experience: Was promised no financial surprises, then charged $300+ more than their estimate for a crown. Opted to see their in-house guy for a root canal, having no idea that the guy had never worked in this office before and would eventually make me wait over an hour beyond my appointment time, for two separate appointments, just to get said root canal. If you're anxious about surprise costs, and have dental anxiety, I do not recommend this place at all. They won't answer their phone anyway.

Fantastic experience: I would highly recommend a visit to Champagne dentistry if you have a small or large problem. They will quickly diagnose your condition and give you the facts so that you can make a decision that is best for you. The kindness of the staff is above and beyond!! Negative experience: Been going here since 2007 and up until recently it was great, now the last three times I’ve been in has been a new person every time. They constantly mess up billing and the front counter is not friendly. Very disappointing to see.

Negative experience: My family have been patients of this practice for several years now, as they're one of the few practices we've found that use nitrous oxide. Generally, we've had good experiences, and my most skittish kid now goes to the dentist willingly and regularly and reports that they treat him well. That's a huge victory. However, it's getting harder and harder to get through to the practice. One of my kids was complaining of a chipped tooth. For three weeks, I called at least 1-2x a week, and no one called me back. Finally, my other son was there for a cleaning and saw "having trouble reaching us? Text us" signs in the office, and sent me the number. I texted, and they did get back to me by text, but an interaction that would have taken three minutes by phone took 10 minutes by text, and when we arrived, there was some confusion as to what, exactly, we were there for. Additionally, my kids have autism spectrum disorder and other sensory conditions, such that giving them nitrous oxide is a necessary prerequisite to being able to do anything with them -- including a cleaning. It's not a luxury for us, and I'm not talking about just a little anxiety. Nitrous oxide used to be a $33 or so add-on, which was reasonable. Now, the cost is $80 for nitrous oxide. This cost increase is making the practice unaffordable for us. I'm not trying to throw stones; I sincerely hope that I can go back to giving them 5-star ratings. I've just had some very specific and frustrating issues lately.

Negative experience: My husband and I have been patients of Dr. Champagne’s office for about 15 years (Sparks Boulevard location). We have been happy with our care over the years for cleanings and occasional other needs a couple times a year. Recently, we have had an awful experience with this office over the last month and will not be returning. On New Year’s Eve, my husband experience a dental emergency resulting in pain so severe it brought him to the ER. We knew on New Year’s Day the office would be closed, but expected the voicemail to offer the on call dentist for an emergency for patients of record. We called multiple dental offices in down due to my husbands emergent needs and every single office had an option to call the on call dentist if you were a patient of record. We were shocked and disappointed this wasn’t an option on Champagne’s voicemail. He somehow managed to make it to January 2 without needing to visit the ER again. On January 2, he began calling Champagne office’s right at 8:00 when they opened. He called multiple times and would immediately get a text message saying to use the online link to schedule an appointment, which had appointments weeks and months out. There was no option to speak to someone to be seen the same day. After calling for over an hour, he decided to drive down to the office after learning they wouldn’t be answer the phones, even though they were open. When he entered to office to attempt to speak to someone, all the front office staff were sitting at the desk and seeming available to help (not on a phone call, with another patient, etc). He explained the situation and asked to be seen right away as it was an emergency, and they told him they couldn’t seem him until the next week. He explained he would have to leave there and drive to the ER due to the level of pain and need for a dentist. Only then did they tell him he could return the following afternoon. He accepted this, however it is still very concerning that a patient couldn’t be seen the same day for an emergency. They were cold, showed no empathy, and lacked flexibility. The dentist he saw he had never met before and determined he needed to be referred to an oral surgeon. He had a wonderful experience with the oral surgeon (not at all affiliated with Champagne). About two weeks after this experience, he called Champagne to (1) schedule a cleaning and (2) to let them know another tooth was bothering him and he wanted to be seen in the coming weeks (not an emergency). His hope was to be proactive so he didn’t have an emergent issue again. Between the second week in January and now (2/4/25) he has left 5 voicemails during business hours with no return call. I am in awe a business doesn’t answer their phones during business hours and even worse, they don’t return phone calls. They even have a sign in the office asking if “you are having trouble reaching them” to text a number. Having trouble reaching them is an understatement. A patient should not have to text to be acknowledged. If you want an office you can actually reach, I don’t recommend this office at all. For years we had the same hygienist and dentist and felt like they had great customer service. However, in recent years it is different staff and feels very impersonal. We sadly won’t be returning to this office. We absolutely love Dr. Drew Champagne and will miss him. However, the overall office has gone majorly downhill.

Positive experience: Staff is pleasant and dentists seem to know their stuff. Office feels upscale and they answer any and all questions ya have Only complaint is it did take me 3 calls (2 voice-messages) and an email over the course of a week-and-a-half to get in touch with them. When I did talk to an actual human, they got scheduled in a few days later; unfortunately my insurance ran out a couple days prior to the appointment.

Negative experience: Disappointed at best. I had been calling all week and leaving multiple voicemails with NO response to find out when my bridge would be ready as I had an appointment with the surgeon for extraction. Finally had to come in on Friday and with some delay was handed my bridge. Thankfully the surgeon was able to accommodate a reschedule same day. NOT good customer service- This is NOT the champagne family dental I have come to know and trust over the last dozen years! What’s happened to this practice??

Fantastic experience: After a night of almost no sleep and constant pain, the next morning I was able to schedule a same day appointment. Had an infected wisdom tooth come to find out after an exam and x-rays. Dr. Barrera extracted the tooth and I felt zero pain during the entire procedure. By far this was the best dental experience I've ever had. The staff were all compassionate and very professional. Having no dental insurance was a huge concern for me and Champagne Family Dentistry offers a cash self pay discount. I highly recommend them.

Negative experience: I went in for an exam a year ago. Found out I cracked my jaw, and I was referred to a surgeon. After everything was done with the surgeon, I was told to call the office. I called 4 times in the next 2 weeks. No one ever called me back. I would not recommend this group to anyone.

Negative experience: Made an appointment for a soft liner. Drove 75 miles and when I got there they said we can't do a soft liner but you can reschedule for a hard liner. Waste of time and money.

Fantastic experience: The Team at Champagne Family Dentistry has been nothing short of amazing in the nearly 2 years I’ve been going to them. As someone who has gone through an initial round of chemo/radiation they were compassionate, understanding, honest and very thorough in explaining what I could expect. I actually look forward to my visits when they pop up on my calendar! Because of my condition I’m a 3x/year patient. My last two visits for cleanings, I’ve had the pleasure of Jessica as my hygienist. She’s absolutely fantastic. Friendly, professional, informative, knowledgeable and, honestly, just a pleasure to be around. I can’t recommend Champagne any higher or I would. From Drew to Jessica and all of the staff I’ve had contact with, I’m so grateful that I have such a quality team for my dental needs.
