Fantastic experience: I have always had a good experience here with my children. The staff and dentists are always very friendly and have always made my children feel cared for and at ease. My youngest is especially nervous when it comes to the dentist yet she is always comfortable here. I definitely recommend Dental Fun Zone.

Fantastic experience: Children's dental fun zone was perfect for our family. They are friendly, clean and kept me informed the whole time they treated my children. Best thing was they did NOT strap my child down like an animal. I totally recommend them.

Negative experience: The dentist did clean my son’s Cavities and put a crown on his tooth after that , the nurse told he will have a swollen on his lips after but we found the dentist injured his lips during the procedure . And inside has blister as well and we went back to ask if they have some treatment to reduce my boys pain , but they’re denied their fault saying it was my boy bite himself nothing from their part . We don’t want to blame the dentist but really hate the way they shirking responsibility, the only thing that we want to asking help reduce pain for my boy bite himself, bad service.

Fantastic experience: Excellent service. They made my son and I feel like at home. My 4 year old son got his tooth extracted and was the smoothest procedure ever. They treated him so good.

Negative experience: We used to love this place when Jose Luis was there.

Negative experience: They strapped my daughter down. Then the dentist and assistant tried to pry her mouth open with both of their hands. I had to stop them! The dentist was in a rush, 45 minutes late and Had no bedside manner. No acknowledgment to my kid, only me. No preparation on what was about to happen to ease my daughter’s nerves. Just rushing and impatient. Both assistants as well. It takes minimal effort to engage the kids and help them like the dentist.

Fantastic experience: This place is amazing! They have a great system for both the kids and parents. I love how Kelly and the dentist always explains to my son what’s going to happen and show him all the tools before they start. This really helps my son feel more relaxed. Everyone is amazing here!

Negative experience: Would never recommend if your child has a disability, and they always resort to trauma holds and scaring children

Fantastic experience: Emily and paulina were the best nurses here. They were extremely patient and kind towards my daughter.

Positive experience: The service is always great! Once your kids are in, The hygienist and Dentist are pretty swift and quick to take care of your kids, only thing i have to fuss about is I dont see why they set up appointments when you still end up having to wait a little longer than expected or anticipated.... sometimes it seems like they like to be bombarded with patients! Which leads to longer waiting period. Other than that, its a good dentist for the kids.

Fantastic experience: Took my daughters in today, this is their 3rd time going for a cleaning and previously went for some cavity work. Flor C, April C, Angel and Dr. Erin were amazing! My older one was fine and knew what to do, but my little one was having a hard time. They were very patient with her and took their time to make her feel comfortable and reassuring her. I like how they all used called tones and explained everything they were doing to make her less scared. We did not feel rushed, they quickly did her cleaning since she was crying but they did it at her pace and got it done well and fast for my daughter. Thank you for your help. I am very happy with this visit.

Negative experience: My Daughter goes to cleaning every 6 months. Since she was 3 years old. Once she Turned 5.5 Years old, I was surprised that they informed me that she has 8 Cavities and they want me to pay $500 after the insurance is paying $3,000. I was very frustrated and I went for another opinion. where the other dentist confirmed 8 Cavities and they recommend 2 crowns based on experience. My Frustration, I confirmed with several doctors that kids won't grow 8 cavities over 6 months. They missed it for years.

Negative experience: It's hard to describe in words. I can't get along with such a high-rated place with quacks! We are victims and are actively seeking help from lawyers!

Negative experience: The name for this dental office is so contradicting. My son had a procedure done at this location about 3 months ago. He is only 3 years old and needed extractions and a couple of fillings. Thinking since it is a children’s dental office they would be MORE gentle with him. I thought wrong. Not only did they strap him to the chair, they also did NOT wait for the numbing medicine to take in effect. I was advised that once the Dr started the procedure I wouldn’t be able to stop him. They started working on his teeth and my toddler was screaming the whole time. I get it, kids can over react because of the noise but this wasn’t normal. I felt his pain and started to cry because I felt like he was being tortured at this point because I knew the medication did not take into effect that fast! When I get work done I have to have extra put in because it doesn’t work THAT fast! I’m still traumatized till this day! If you have a little one, I recommend not coming here! They are not gentle at all! I was not please and would not come back here again.

Fantastic experience: I brought my two boys here. They’re both Autistic and have a hard time with going to the dentist. I was referred here by a friend and once we arrived to our first appointment I immediately saw how kid friendly it was. iPads attached to the wall. TVs playing movies. A coloring station. A big lobby. It was pretty cool. The dental assistants were very patient with my boys given how loud they were being from being nervous. We were able to get one of my boys looked at, but my other son refused and the staff understood and we simply scheduled him for another day. Second appointment when we arrived we received the same courtesy and the dental assistants were still patient with my boys. That’s all I could possibly ask for when looking for health/dental care. Thank you! I truly appreciate your patience and service.

I called to schedule an appointment for my 1 month old daughter since she was born with a tooth and i was kind of worried they wouldn’t want to check her but im glad they did. She is 8 months now and just went to her 3rd check up. Very nice staff supper welcoming. I will keep taking my daughter here.

Fantastic experience: We had a great experience at Children’s dental fun zone. I called to schedule a new patient appointment on a Thursday and my son was able to seen the next day. The front staff are very friendly and welcoming and the atmosphere is perfect for young children. The x ray technician was so patient and accommodating and the dentist we saw was so patient and explained everything very thoroughly. Communication was great here as well from all staff. Definitely recommend this place !

Negative experience: I assumed my insurance was covering everything because when we arrived for our cleaning they never mentioned any kind of co-pay it wasn’t until after we already left that they called me to tell me I needed to come back. Upon coming back they told me I had a balance that I had to pay $81 and this is after they did the cleaning I asked why no one had said anything before and I mentioned that everything should be covered if there’s an issue Insurance then I will figure that out but they should have told me we had a co-pay before just doing the work I told him I wasn’t going to pay the co-pays since everything should be covered and I will get in touch and get back to The dental staff On Monday. And which the girl replied that she will be sending our $81 to collections since I’m refusing to “ Refusing to pay”. It’s incredibly unfair that I’m expected to pay $81 out of nowhere when all they had to do was let us know we had a co-pay in which case I would’ve canceled the appointment. I don’t appreciate being threatened to go to collections were the ones that failed to do things properly.

Fantastic experience: Children’s Dental FunZone is an awesome place to take your kids. They are always so friendly and my kids love it! They are always excited to go to the dentist. 10/10 recommend!

Fantastic experience: I’ve been taking my daughter here for the last 3 years and I love it. The staff are all so nice and great with the kids. They always explain everything and are reassuring when they can see my daughter is nervous. Even when she had to get her cavity worked on she was comfortable and calm with the staff. And of course she loves it because she gets a toy after she’s done every visit. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone.

Positive experience: Customer service could be better, always have problem when speaking to clerk. They are not accommodating at all. They wont give you update on your treatment either.

Fantastic experience: My kids been coming here for about 2 years. I have a 2yr old, 4yr old, and 12yr old. The office has added so many kid fun things to do that really help them live up to their name FunZone ! My son had a cavity and was going wild and being super uncooperative but the staff was so patient with him. Hopefully he won’t get no more cavities and we won’t have to go thru that again but god forbid we do I know he’s in good hands.

Fantastic experience: Great staff and very organized and everyone was patient with my children. All the stuff always take the time to help me with not only my child that is being seen, but with my other children as well. The dentist was such a sweet kind woman and because of her and my son explored to coming back this time. From the start that checked us in to the back office that works on my child, they are excellent and I'm glad to have them as our dentist. Fantastic experience: This place is a great place to take your kids. They have TV screens so that your child can watch a movie while waiting for their dental appointment and while in the exam room. The people there are so friendly. They have a girl who sits at a table and colors with them. I have had a good experience every time I go there. The dentist and the assistants always explain to me the treatment and what is going on with my child's teeth and what they will be doing. I look forward to our appointments.

Fantastic experience: It is always a pleasant visit to West Covina site from the front staff, back staff & doctors. Even the staffs calling to remind the appts. The site is very clean, organize & kid friendly environment providing activities to divert kids attention to lessen anxiety about certain visit or procedure.

Positive experience: Staff is great however I think this location is busy and doesn’t acknowledge the kids and incentives for no cavities. Parents always have to ask, can I get a certificate for no cavities and/or can I bother you for a small trinket for the kids. The kids look forward to it as it is an incentive. It would be nice for the kids to feel rewarded. I take my 3 boys at the same time and always are amazed at the operations but again kids don’t get rewarded.

Fantastic experience: Staff were all very nice and patient with both of my kids. I appreciate the child friendly atmosphere and how understanding the staff was when my kids began to be a bit scared and uncooperative.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Grant, Vidal and Kathya made sure my son’s experience was very quick and comfortable. He unfortunately needed quite a bit done in his mouth and it could have been a hard memory for him. But all he came home talking of was the movie they let him watch . Very thankful for their expertise and care.

Positive experience: We have been comming here for years. My eldest loved comming here and was bummed out that he now aged out. The place is nice and clean. The staff is very welcoming and friendly. My only concern is the doctors are seeing my child too fast that they get up and leaven to the next patient. I didn't have time to ask any questions and they needed to call the doctor back. My questions were answered but just slow down alittle to ask any questions or concerns we as parents have.

Fantastic experience: Dr Chan and the staff are amazing. Dr chan was a professional and ensured my kids were comfortable and he flawlessly was able to work on my kids. The staff was warm and welcoming and was also very kind to the kids. Thank you guys for making dental visits something enjoyable for my kids.

Fantastic experience: The office is bigger than Ontario we usually go. My son had cavity and took him to West Covina location because they open on Saturdays. Since it’s a bigger office, so more patients and longer wait time on weekends.

Positive experience: The environment was appealing for kids. The staff were kind. The wait was long even with an appointment. Going with an HMO referral was pointless because we waited over an hour to be told what we already knew (that my daughter has a cavity) and that we needed more insurance approvals and paperwork filled out by the pediatrician. They also said they couldn’t get X-rays of my daughter’s molars (where her cavity is located) because she was “uncooperative” which really confused me because my daughter sat very quietly in my lap and did everything they asked. They only did X-rays of her front teeth and never attempted molars. It all just felt like a Waste of time for something that could’ve been done prior to this visit. I get that it’s not totally on the facility but processes could’ve been better which is why they lose a star.

Fantastic experience: Before booking my son's appointment with this dental office, my son and I toured the office. I booked the appointment at the end of our tour because the staff member confidently answered all my questions and I got a good vibe. This was during their 2023 Trunk or Treat event. Fast forward to today: I took my 4 year old son to this dental place for his 6 month cleaning and I am very happy with the staff and service. I love the fact that I was able to fill out all the necessary forms online and on my own time prior to showing up to the appointment. The lobby is nicely decorated, clean and spacious with movies playing on the TVs. There is a coloring station for the kids at the corner of the lobby and the staff member that oversees the area is very interactive and nice. The staff in the back is bilingual ( English / Spanish), polite, patient, and organized. The actual dentists speak English only. I would like to give a shout out Dr. Eren and Jose Luis because they were very sweet and welcoming. They both explained everything that they were going to do to my son to gain his trust and make him comfortable.

Positive experience: My daughter Avenie loves coming to Children’s Dental Fun Zone it helps them be distracted with either coloring or using their tablets of the beautiful fish tank, The only thing that gets me a little upset is waiting 1/2 hr to 45 mins past your appointment time.

Fantastic experience: My daughters first visit here was amazing! We were referred here from her primary dentist. All the dentists at this location were very patient with her, they immediately sensed she was too nervous for a filling with only local anesthetic so they offered us the laughing gas option. My daughter was able to get a full exam, x-rays and white fillings done in under 2 hours. Her fillings and crown only took about 15 minutes. This location does excellent work and deserves more recognition I wish we had brought her sooner! The place itself is FULLY DECORATED for children. They have all their walls painted with aquatic life characters. The tv screens can be adjusted to your child’s favorite movie and they gift out balloons that help your child stay distracted throughout their treatment. Would definitely recommend this location to any parent with kids that tense up at the dentist. They handle children so well every single employee we interacted with was beyond patient and happy to help address any questions or concerns about patient care.

It’s very difficult when a child refuses to listen can’t keep still and get the work done. Wish this dentistry office was around when I was a kid. However, they do assist teens so I’m excited for her to stay and get her Dentistry needs as she grows. Perfect scheduling online, phone personnel are friendly & communicative. They follow up via email, phone, and text and as a parent I appreciate it. Fantastic experience: They are mostly all kind and nice to kids I very much like there treatments and if your kid gets treated with more than a check up they give them a toy also they put kids movies for them to watch while getting treated.☺️ P.S. They used to give out more things to new patients and had a huge fish tank and had also tablets ‍♀️ 3/7/24 New Update So now they added a small fish tank and like about 4 tablets for kids to use while they are called they also some times have coloring papers and also some times give out balloons too…

Negative experience: The dentist cleaner named Jose, middle age hispanic man, I don't know if he was rushing to go home or having a bad day from his family. When he helped cleaning my son's teeth. He was very rough and poorly cleaning my son teeth. My son has brace but he didn't use floss treader to help and just do quick and done. The fluorine cleaning was not throughly. After he was done, my son said he hurt him and it is very bad. We did cleaning all the time and this one just pure horrible.

Fantastic experience: My daughter has been a patient since she was small. She loves it here and always gets treated with proper care. Today I came in a little bit early hoping she can be seen soon because I had a conflicted meeting and they were able to attend her. Extremely pleased and grateful.

Positive experience: It was easy to make an appointment on line. Arrived 15 minutes early, my appointment was at 1:30. Was not seen till 2:15. It seem like nobody new how to register a new patient. I didn’t have my insurance card, so I told them I would be paying cash. I went in for a second opinion. The doctor was about the only person who was professional and answered my questions.

Fantastic experience: I do like this dentist for children. They’re VERY kid friendly & they have a vision doctor for kids right next door so that’s cool too.. BUT that consent form for other family members to bring your kid, expires every 3 months.. that’s a hassle & definitely didn’t know that. So it delayed the process for my daughter being seen, but it’s alright. Other than that, can’t complain! Nice staff and very kid friendly!! (Of course cause they’re a kid dentist lol)

You almost forget you're in a dental office cuz my daughter seems entertained when she's there. They had coloring in the lobby which was great! Just a great experience all around. Negative experience: I've been coming here since my oldest was 4 yrs old he is now 22 yrs old brought my second and my third now my 4 year old daughter ... never once did I experience any issues with cleanings or check ups or treatments my other children had but today's visit was by far the worst I have ever experienced in my life as a parent ... she had to have treatment done today I felt like the laughing gas they use to relax them wasnt working for her, then i felt like the dentist didnt give the anesthesia enough time to do it's job and started working on her right away...the way she was screaming and saying it hurts at times was something i cant seem to get out of my head, i asked the doctor more then once if she might really feel pain he said no ... i text my husband to switch places with me as i need to step out for a moment, he felt the same way i did and asked the dentist the same thing if she feels pain the dentist looked at him and said no but my husband didnt feel comfortable with his answer but couldnt bare seeing out daughter yell so we switch places again ... i felt hopeless my gut was telling me something wasnt right but i kept telling myself that his the dentist ... a pediatric professional at that. Their was also a time when I asked him if she was still awake because she stops kicking and crying and he said no she's asleep, I felt that it was a lil weird and now that i think about it she probably fainted from all the screaming and crying ... I now question my self and was all the work they did at once really nessassary. My 4 year old daughter is now traumatized and this experience will haunt her for a bit if not all her life. She now wakes up crying saying not to let them get her! Her gums are dark and brused and I can't seem to shake off the feeling of her being tortured the whole time she was there getting this dental work done I'm give my 2 star review on today experience...

Negative experience: It was my daughter's first time (3 yrs old) coming here. While the wait is long... they at least have a lot of things to entertain the kids in the lobby. One of main things I did not appreciate is the fact that my daughter pretty much just went in to do X-rays and nothing else. No cleaning was done and my daughter was extremely compliant through the whole process. I feel like the dentist here cut out what it important (basic cleaning) and just did a x-ray and told me the issues but again no actual cleaning. That to me says a lot about a dentist. I made an appt with Via Verde Pediatrics and WOW the process was completely different and they actually cleaned my daughter's teeth on the first appointment.

Fantastic experience: Front desk was so helpful, our daughter was greeted with a balloon which she loved and kept her busy. All of the staff was so friendly, great experience highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: This is place is good for my Medicare insurance for kids, they are friendly and answer my questions. They are easy to accommodate when it comes to cleaning my kids teeth and give no sighs or complaints. It’s a definite try and stay place! Update*** My daughter had a filling and she was happy and confident during the process thanks to the amazing staff.

Fantastic experience: The doctors and nurses were very patient. Knowing that my English was not good, they helped me use Google Translate to complete today's treatment. I am so thankful for the doctors and nurses today. The clinic environment is very suitable for children. Every nurse is so friendly!

Waiting room is so much welcoming there a play for kids and adults are welcome too w water tea or coffee. Not a long wait to be called in and there seen in no time. Fantastic experience: Took my baby for his first dental visit & the staff was amazing, super gentle and friendly but most importantly the receptionists were super sweet. i loved this place and so did baby.

Negative experience: I have been going to this dentist office since my daughter was 3 she is now 15 years old. At our last cleaning appointment prior to this visit I noticed that they did not clean her teeth well. So I watched them this time and noticed again the lack of care or effort in cleaning them again so I mentioned to the guy cleaning them and he ignored me and finished. When the doctor came over to review X-rays I mentioned it to him and he said he would check her teeth and was able to still scrape hard placque from the few teeth he looked at. Then he was done and the assistants were confused that he was done and so was I. Also the last time we went in there we were told that she had cavities and referred us over to another dentist that we never made it to go see. And this doctor said she had no cavities. Weird that they said she had 3 at the last visit and this time none. So I question the knowledge or care of the doctors in which you currently have overseeing the well being of the children’s heath of teeth.

Positive experience: For checkups and cleanings it goes very smoothly but my daughter had treatment done recently and I feel as if the dentist didn’t wait long enough for the anesthesia to fully kick in and my daughter was screaming as if she was hurting. When he said he was going to start I assumed the nitrous would ease her and that he was one to have a good hand in numbing patients quickly but this wasn’t the case. Definitely bad experience for her treatment wise here. Thank you for traumatizing her for the rest of her life going to the dentist now.

Positive experience: The staff is super friendly and extremely understanding even though my son threw the biggest tantrum they managed to get the procedure done in a timely manner… my only complaint would be wait time but in the end it is worth it

Positive experience: I arrived 15 minutes early. I filled out all my paperwork beforehand as instructed and was sent by text to my phone. My insurance was not verified before my appointment so I had to wait upon my arrival to have it verified. I booked my appointment in advance. I did not really receive much instruction and was not asked why I was taking my son. Upon being called back, I felt very rushed. The hygienist or dental assistant I felt was rude, he was a male with a strong accent, it almost felt as if he was reprimanding me instead of advising me since it was my first time taking my one-year-old to the dentist.

Fantastic experience: Second time at West Covina location. The staff really helpful friendly . This morning I have my daughter appointment to regular check up . They saw there’s a tooth starting getting infection, and they squeezed her in for the pull out right away . Appreciate the stuff . And I don’t live near by but I will still keep going . Highly recommend.

Positive experience: I been going here Since my oldest was a little Toodler. I love this place I did change Dental once due to staff being rude. But they have change staff so I went back and I'm still happy with the service.

Fantastic experience: Everyone at children’s dental fun zone was great! I specifically love being seen by Jose Duran! If ever my kids are fussy he will sing to them to make them more comfortable! And I love that because I sing lullaby’s to my kids for the same reason!

Fantastic experience: My son just had his first dental visit ever(he just turned 1) and it went great! The office is large, runs efficiently, the employees are all pleasant and it is decorated so fun and clean! Definitely recommend this place for little ones.

Fantastic experience: The office is always clean. The staff is amazing. Its amazing to ser that they are trying new things to make the young children be at ease like balloon making and and coloring table. But, the only thing still missing is the toy after their appointment even for the older patients.

Positive experience: I love they were fast to see her and they have coloring stuff, tv in the front to entertain the kids. I love that a parent can sit with the kids and they have tvs as well it's very friendly and fun ❤️❤️

Fantastic experience: Our experiences have been great here so far at west covina , everyone is friendly and helpful. The dentist are gentle with my son. The front staff is great w my daughter they have a waiting area that has Coloring and balloons for the kids. TV and fish and games makes waiting helpful with kids.

Negative experience: I came here and I ask one of the receptionist if they accept my insurance and the lady that I spoke to said yes. It’s sad to know that they will always lie and waste someone’s else time for money and also politics. This office is a contractor dental office. The lady and the other staff should have be realistic.

Fantastic experience: The environment is great, and it is very reassuring to wait in line with children. The staff were very patient and those who didn't understand would tell us what to do. Make another appointment for a root canal next week.

Fantastic experience: I take my two daughters 3/5 and they love it here ! My 5 year old is a bit more anxious but the staff is so kind and understanding making it an amazing experience! Thank you staff !! Also they had a coffee bar when I went which was so convenient as I ran out my house early morning without my coffee !! That’s a plus ! :)

Fantastic experience: We absolutely love CDFZ! We have been bringing our children since toddlers, now they are 17 and 10 years old. We have referred family and friends. We love the ambiance, the cleanliness and the professionalism of all the staff! No problems with any of the dental work our kids have had done. It is always a pleasure to attend this office.
