Fantastic experience: The receptionist Yuri at the dentist's office provided exceptional service from the moment I walked in. She greeted me with a warm smile, quickly checked me in, and patiently answered all my questions about insurance and scheduling. Her calm and friendly demeanor helped ease my nerves before the appointment, and she made sure everything ran smoothly and on time. Her professionalism and kindness truly made the visit a pleasant experience. I recommend going to Bright Star Dental it’s one of the best places i have ever been to for any trouble I have with my teeth.

Fantastic experience: Staff was super nice from the minute I walked in with Carina at the reception desk making the check in process as a new patient super easy. Andrea, my hygienist made me feel welcomed also as soon as I walked back, giving me a mini tour of the place and explaining what rooms were used for. She was super nice and wonderful to talk to during my cleaning. Dr. Gilbert was also very nice, and welcoming. Overall a very great experience, I look forward to coming back in the future Update: during my last visit at the office Andy was very nice, it is always such a pleasure to come in and talk to to her while my teeth get cleaned Dr. Gilbert was also very friendly and informative. He explained things to me, where it was easy to understand. I enjoy coming in to my visits with the Bright Star Dental team. Update 6/13/24: Andy was great, as always it always is such a good experience to come in and get my teeth cleaned here. The staff is always super welcoming and nice. Update 1/23/25: Went in for a teeth cleaning with Andy this week which is always a pleasure, she is one of the sweetest hygienist I've ever had. Dr. Parson was the one to see me this time and I did finally listen to their recommendation and scheduled an appointment for a crown. Andy had prepped me by telling me to bring something to do while waiting for it to be made, so I made sure to listen. Natalie was the one to help me out today and she was also great. She answered all of the questions that I had and even showed me when my crown was being made. There were some technical issues and the process took a bit longer than expected but it was no big deal for me. Overall a good experience, they always treat their patients with care, which is why I keep coming back. Update 7/11/25: Went for my cleaning today with Andy, and as always it was a great experience. She is always very nice and does a great job! It's always such a good experience. I'm a little sad that Dr. Gilbert retired but Dr. Parsons has been nice also and answered all of my questions. I would highly recommend Bright Star Dental and ask for Andy to be your hygienist.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Tyler Parsons was a life saver. I have been in a lot of pain and just moved to Las Cruces. Dr. Parsons was kind, knowledgable, and did an amazing job and making me feel comfortable. HIGHLY recommend this office and Dr. Parsons. Update: Dr Parsons is now literally the only dentist I trust. I have had some negative experiences with dentists in the past and I feel like I finally found someone with compassion and true talent. I honestly will travel out of state to go to Dr Parsons. Jennifer was my hygienist and she was so good. She made me feel really comfortable and did a great job.

Fantastic experience: update time: this visit has been my third time at this office. the first was an exam, the second a cleaning, and now a filling. i like that all the dental assistants and dentists here are consistent in making me feel comfortable and well informed in what’s going on with my teeth and the possible game plan for healthy teeth and mouth. update time p.2: i am so glad that i come here for my dental work. the staff here are so welcoming and they have been for my past two visits (at the time i’m writing this, it’s on my third visit). today, i had ivan and natalie work with me and they are the sweetest people. another thing about the staff that i noticed is they genuinely care and do their best to make you feel comfortable. like what i mentioned before, the staff and the dentist (mine is dr. parsons but i assume the same goes with the other dentist, dr. gilbert) are amazing at their communication and ensuring that everyone is on the same page. i love this place and i can’t recommend it enough!!

Fantastic experience: UPDATE I returned to Bright Star Dental today for follow up care. Add soon as walked in I received a warm welcome. Everything is so relaxing there. Ivan was my hygienist. Her did a fabulous job- thorough cleaning without any pain of discomfort. I also had a loose crown. Dr. Parsons was able to remove it and then cement in back in and had me on my way in just a few minutes. Very friendly staff. I travel from Texas just b to see Dr. Parsons and his wonderfully staff. William Parsons I travelled all the way from San Antonio, Texas to see Dr. Parsons. I love the atmosphere in this office-very calming and relaxing. I first had my teeth cleaned. Ivan was amazing. It was the most comfortable and thorough cleaning I have ever had. Next, I saw Dr. Parsons because I had a molar that needed attention. He explained that I would need a crown and that it could be milled and seated within an hour. Wow! The procedure was painless and quick. Rudy (dental assistant) made sure I was comfortable. How could you not be in chairs that are heated and give a gentle massage. Dr. Gilbert even dropped in just to say "hi" and introduce himself. It could not have been a more pleasant experience. Dr. Parsons also helped me with a plan to fix some cosmetic issues with my teeth. I am coming back for more work in April. I highly recommend this office-you will not be disappointed!

Fantastic experience: The staff and Dr. Parsons were great! The check in process was quick and I had a very short wait until I was called back for my cleaning and checkup. It had been several years since my last dental appointment, previous dental office I went to was often 30+ minutes late in getting me in for my appointment so I would have to reschedule. Bright Star was so much better! My dental hygienist was outstanding...gentle and knowledgeable. She and Dr. Parsons both listened to any concerns I had. I highly recommend this office and will definitely be going back!

Fantastic experience: I just want to take a moment to express my thoughts and concerns… my one & only concern is that Google doesn’t have enough stars for a 10 star rating. My experience at bright star dental was amazing. Started with Carina at the front desk reception, she is so welcoming, so friendly and kind, just incredible. Not even when I visit my own family I get greeted that way. Made me want to schedule an appointment every day of the week. Following up with Pamela who brought me back to take care of me… look, she is the definition of an Outstanding employee, her display of kindness and concern for me made me feel like I was in the right place, where I belong. So by the time Dr Gilbert walked in I almost felt like hugging him to thank him, for having such amazing employees. I feel so lucky to have had them take care of me, might just go buy a lottery ticket.

Fantastic experience: Andy did my cleansing she was amazing, very gentle and caring. She is also very knowledgeable and answered all my questions. I highly recommend her. I also did my whitening with Faith and she made me feel at ease throughout the process. She was very attentive throughout the procedure and made me feel very comfortable. She is also very knowledgeable I am very happy with my results. Bright Star Dental will not disappoint I highly recommend them.

Fantastic experience: I have been going to Bright Star Dental since it was in a small building across the street. Today, I saw the dentist new to the practice (forgot name). He was exceptional. He was approachable, talked me through the procedure and was kind. I love that the staff know me and they are ALWAYS kind and considerate. Update: I had a lot of fillings and Natalie and Dr. Parsons were fantastic. My teeth were extremely sensitive and Dr. Parsons stopped to give me a break. Natalie kept me updated on what was happening. The office is clean, sterile and well-run.

Fantastic experience: We have been seeing the folks at Bright Star Dental since we moved here in 2007. We could not be happier with the dental care we have received. The staff are considerate, caring, and--bet of all--recognize you by name when you come in the door. Dr. Gilbert is, without doubt, THE best dentist I have ever had the pleasure to know, and have work on my teeth. Our new hygienist, Ivan, is wonderful, as well. He made some recommendations for home care for me and the cleaning results this last week were stellar! Thank you, Ivan and Dr. Gilbert, for the wonderful care you provide. UPDATE 04/24/25: Saw Dr Parsons today for an extraction and everything went swimmingly! The service we have come to expect over the years continues and we are very pleased.

Negative experience: Dr. Gilbert was my dentist for 18 years and he was the BEST. He knew how I got anxiety when he performed dental work on me so I had to be sedated. He made me feel relaxed to trust him he worked with me through my dental work. I trusted him. I went to talk to his Dr. Pardon he is now the dentist since Dr. Gilbert retired. My experience with Dr. Pardon was horrible he was supposed to sedate me and did not. He pulled 4 teeth it was only suppose to be the upper 2 back teeth on left side. I was partially sedated. When I came to I noticed he had pulled 2 more teeth botton left, they were suppose to be crowns these teeth never bothered me. He told me he had to pull them that was not right he should of let me make that decision. After the procedure and week after I was in so much pain still had anxiety with the procedure. Dr. Pardon called me and asked how I felt I said horrible it was a bad experience he put me through. I told him why didn't he sedate me, he said in this office there will never be sedation again. He should of told me this before he did dental work on me. I am terrified of dentist. He was not understanding at all. I am looking for new dentist. Fantastic experience: Dr. Gilbert has a passion for what he does. Him and his staff are amazing people to work with and took wonderful care of me. I was extremely worried about one of my bottom teeth, it kept chipping every week for a while. Dr. Gilbert told me that I had nothing to worry about and that they would fix it right away. He educated me on the cause of the chipping and how to take care of my sensitive teeth from now on. I am terrified of needles and Dr. Gilbert was able to talk me through it and relax through the numbing process. I am extremely happy with the results! Fantastic experience: Was in a lot of tooth pain when I first went to see Dr. Gilbert and through a couple of procedures, got relief! And got back on track with regular check-ups, cleanings and screenings for oral cancer. I really appreciate his caring attitude and professionalism during my visits! My hygienist is Jennifer, and she is caring gentle and encouraging to me and my brushing routine. Dr. Parsons did my exam today, and I am impressed with his knowledge and expertise. She is very friendly but at the same time is business like making sure your teeth are getting all the attention they need. And I had oral surgery without sedation-Dr. Gilbert and Marilyn worked on me with expertise and a calm demeanor which made me feel completely at ease. Personal check up calls are an added bonus!
