Fantastic experience: We have had the best experiences over the past 16 years as patients of Dr.Rector. Our youngest has many challenges and Dr.Rector and his staff have always been patient and supportive of her needs and abilities.

Fantastic experience: My daughter received bad advice from another dentist that was impacting her orthodontia. Not only could they confirm my suspicions and fix the issue, they got us in very quickly as it was time sensitive. They were respectful and we really appreciate it so much. I fear she'd have an unnecessary hole and unneeded anxiety if they hadn't been able to see her.

Fantastic experience: The staff is always so courteous and friendly. I was in after some time between my last dental appointment and this one, and I felt no judgement or bad vibes about that. I felt very comfortable and welcomed. Dr. Rector is always very professional and friendly.

Fantastic experience: Having 4 children with all different dental needs. We have experienced multiple pediatric dentist in the central Indiana area. Dr Casey Ryan has by far exceeded our expectations for pediatric dental care. She and her staff are so friendly, inviting, informative, and are so great with my kids. They have created an environment where my children leave with smiles on their faces and zero fear. I thank you all for your hard work and special care you take with my children!

The entire team—from the dental assistants to the dentist—is always so friendly and truly great with kids. You can tell they genuinely care about their patients and make an effort to create a calm, welcoming environment. They have never tried to push unnecessary treatments, which we really appreciate. A while back, my son had a cavity filled using a quick, painless method with no shots, and it went so smoothly. He had no fear, no tears, and because of that experience, he now actually looks forward to his cleanings! He always gets a fun little toy and a new toothbrush, which makes the visit even more exciting for him. We’re so thankful to have found a place that makes going to the dentist something our child enjoys.

Fantastic experience: I've been taking my son to see Dr. Adam since he got his first teeth. Dr. Adam is patient, kind, and very knowledgeable. He is amazing with the kids and is very professional. I recommend Rector Dental to literally everyone and anyone who asks and will continue to do so.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Bryan Rector was a light in the darkness. I’ve had horrible dentists, more horrible dentists, and the occasional good dentists that, after a few visits, got comfortable and charged repeatedly for sloppy work. In a few hours this guy fixed 90% of the damage done by a half dozen dentists, and did the detail work others either couldn’t do, or couldn’t be bothered to do, over the last two decades. His job would have been so much easier if his peers didn’t suck. He is an artisan of his craft. Well done. Roughly 2 years after I wrote the above review, I still feel the same way.

Fantastic experience: Brought my one year old son in for his first dentist appointment. I absolutely loved them. They listened to my concerns. I would highly recommend them to absolutely anybody.

Negative experience: We’ve used this office for over a year for my special needs child. If you are a special needs parent and already have an onslaught of nonstop messages/emails/phonecalls, be aware, if you miss a confirmation, they will double book your appointment and give it away. Maybe I’m old school, but I’m an adult, if I’ve made an appointment, we show up as they can still bill us for no showing. So if you change numbers or miss a text or phone call they make during work hours, be prepared to show up and be told to go home.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Jonathan Rector & his entire team are hands down, THE Best! I have been going to Dr. Rector for about 6 months now. My entire life “38 yrs old” I have had horrible experiences with several dentist, and painful dental work. I have had several fillings & work done to my teeth within the past 6 months and my experiences have been simply #AMAZING!!! From the very first step that you take into their office the hospitality and patient care provided has always exceeded my expectations. If you are looking for an #AMAZING dental experience with top notch care and advanced technology look NO further. SERIOUSLY, if you go anywhere else you are making a BIG mistake. I highly recommend calling today to make your next appointment. You will not regret it!

Negative experience: Called due to my daughter’s (age 5) tooth getting knocked out from falling off a swing. I explained the situation to the gentleman on the phone, and he legitimately asked if I thought it was an emergency. 1.) I’m not a dental expert, that’s why I called you. 2.) Her tooth was knocked out before it was loose, I’d say that that’s kind of an emergency. Safe to say that after multiple attempts at making an appointment, and that bozo on the phone, we won’t utilize them. I have a feeling I’ll get a silly reply to this which is all the more reason to NOT go here.

Dr. Jon is so friendly and always answers any questions I have. And Amber is the only hygienist I will let near my teeth. My daughter and grandson also go here.

Negative experience: Not helpful or inclusive at all! There has been multiple instances where my brother who has been diagnosed autism and his RBTs/BCBA were made to feel like he was a bother or helping him work on tolerating the dentist was an inconvenience to them or a disruption to their day. There was an incident where while working him through a meltdown (he was also engaging in crying and self injury) where Rectors staff told my brother and his staff that they were disrupting everyone and that if he couldn’t get it together he needed to leave and not come back. When attempting to schedule his appointments after this, they continually gave me the run around and kept saying he had to come in for a “toleration” appointment before they would schedule a him an OR to get his actual teeth cleaned like they have in the past, but won’t allow him in the building for that toleration appointment. Very sad that I’ve recommended this place to so many of ABA clients because of how inclusive they used to be. Very poor management staff, especially in this day and age where everyone promotes “inclusiveness”. I would recommend anywhere BUT rector dental.

Negative experience: I booked san appointment for the cleaning. After one hour of review, they told me that they are not able to perform the cleaning and rebook the appointment. Took 4 hours of PTO for nothing

Fantastic experience: I am so glad I took the advice of a friend and came to Rector Family Dental. Every aspect of the Business is top notch. The parking lot is always full but I’ve never had to wait over five minutes to be seen. They work within my insurance costs, as I’ve never had to pay any additional fees. (I’m sure not all work is covered in full, but I’ve had 4 or 5 visits this year with no added cost to me)

My youngest son was terrified the first time we went and they didn’t try to force him to get X-rays or anything they just had him watch his brother. Fantastic experience: Best dentist for kids by far! The kids have a movie screen above them to watch while they're lying back in the chair, and the dentist sings to them while working on their teeth! There's also a movie screen and a kids seating area in the waiting room. Kids get to pick out prizes to take home when they're done. Walls are painted to look like big aquariums full of sea life. They truly go above and beyond, sending messages to kids at home when its their birthday! We are so thankful for Dr. Jeff, Dr. Sharma, and all of the other wonderful hygienists, assistants, and office staff at Rector Family Dental. You guys are the best!

Fantastic experience: I've never had a bad experience with Dr. Bryan and his team. When I was little, my dentist smacked me in the face and I was terrified to go anywhere for 20 years. Finally I got the courage to go back and Dr. Bryan and his assistant WHITNEY made me confident again. She's so amazing and makes me feel comfortable and welcome! They're so sweet and gentle. He tells you exactly what he's doing as he does it. If there's any discomfort at all he quits and makes sure you're numb again. He fixes smiles, for sure. I'd give them 15 stars if it was an option.

Negative experience: I usually love taking my kids to Dr. Rector's office. I took my daughter yesterday to have her braces removed and it was one of the worst experiences with a dentist or orthodontist that we have experienced. My daughter's mouth was covered in blood. The doctor was drilling the glue off of her teeth so hard. The drill bit went flying. My daughter was tapping her feet in pain because it was so rough and the doctor did not even bother to stop and ask her if she was okay or if she could do anything to help the process be a little less painful. I definitely do not recommend the female doctor. I believe her name is Dr. Aaron. Really bad bedside Manor really stuck up and has no concern for the children. I would really consider other options before coming to Dr. Rector!!!

Fantastic experience: They have been great with both of my kids. My 10 year old daughter has a spacer and braces and they have been amazing, answered all our questions, and was able to get her in any time there was a problem.

Fantastic experience: My daughter had to get the expander to give her teeth room and then they put her braces on and it’s been wonderful. They explained everything as they went along.. Her teeth have started straightening up now. Her wisdom teeth weren’t able to come in and they referred us to a surgeon who removed them. He was also very good. She has gone here for dental and for orthodontics and we wouldn’t go anywhere else.They are the best.

Fantastic experience: I am an almost 50 yr old woman that has always needed and wanted braces. After 2 other failed attempts, Rectors office came in and saved the day! Cost was much lower, treatment plan less than previously quoted and the work being done will completely close my gap. I will forever be thankful and I cannot wait to see my smile

Fantastic experience: They were completely honest and detailed with me during the consult ultimately letting me know they would not recommend services rather than selling me on them and making money off me. I appreciated this and the information they gave me, keeping the path of future care open. Their facilities were also impressive! From my experience, I would recommend them.

Negative experience: Terrible experience. It used to be a better place. I used their orthodontic service couple years ago and now I had to go back to get my retainer fixed. First of all, there were no doctor in the office. Then, the nurse made me a new retainer with very cheap materials. Then after she put it in, we could not get it off of my teeth, because it was made randomly and with no supervision not based on my teeth form. She had to use some tools to get it off with no success. We tried multiple times to get the retainer off with a lot of damage to my gum and teeth. Finally, she could get it off, left my gum bleeding and my teeth hurting. Also, when I asked to remove the remnant tags on my teeth, she refused. I am wondered why they schedule appointments when there are no doctors in their center. Never ever go back. I paid a lot for this visit and for a crappy retainer that I am sure will be broken soon. Very disappointed.
