Fantastic experience: Dr. Haines is the very best. I had a long appointment (1 1/2 hrs.). I almost fell asleep while waiting during some portion of this procedure while I had to wait. That's how relaxed I am going to my appointments with Dr. Haines. The injections—they are the best; they have a way of giving them so they do not cause as much pain. The fillings and bonding — very professional and my teeth look great! Thank you, Dr. Haines!

They were disappointed that their dentist did not adequately explain what their condition was and what he wanted to do. Ballas has always done a great job of this. They do a little extra on each visit. The senior discount is a plus. There is also another prepaid plan with discounts. I have been a patient for 28 years and I am very satisfied

Fantastic experience: My wife and I have been patients of Dr. Watanabe going back to the early 1980’s. Dr. Watanabe and his staff are the best! The practice has very skilled and gentle dental hygienists. We can’t imagine a better dental practice. In fact, we’re in the process of moving several hours away from STL and will continue to travel back to STL for our dental care.

She was also very informative on what I could do better without it feeling like a lecture. I didn’t feel the pressure to continue a conversation (I always feel so awkward about that!) but the hygienist was very personable. Overall great experience!

Fantastic experience: Ballas Dental Care, and Dr Watanabe specifically, gave me far and away the best dental care and treatment I’ve ever had. I was having a rather complicated pain in my teeth that was difficult to figure out, but they did and put together a plan and recommendations to take care of it. Ballas Dental Care and Dr Watanabe were not my regular dentist, but based on my wife’s and daughter’s rave reviews of them and recommendations to see them for my problems, I decided to go to them instead of my regular dentist and I am absolutely thrilled that I did. Even though I was not one of their regular patients, they managed to see me the same day that I contacted them, and this was so even though that day their office was technically closed. I could go on and on about how amazing I think they are, but I think you get the idea of how highly I recommend them and how much I appreciate them taking wonderful care of me.

Fantastic experience: I have been a patient here since 2010 and I would go to the other dentist. I love my dentist, Dr. Jan. Olivier. She’s very friendly. She’s very funny. She is excellent and she’s a perfectionist. She treats me like a member of her own family and I consider her to be a part of my family. I will not go to any other dentist.. she cured my dental phobia after many bad experiences at several dentists. I cannot say enough for Ballas dental care. They’re the best.! The entire staff is wonderful. !! I ENJOY coming to the dentist. I have learned so much helpful information and education from them . I cannot thank each and everyone of them enough I have posted other reviews, but I think I used a different email address so it’s under a different name . I just don’t know enough about Google so the other one was on Google and this one came up under princess Warrior,- but that when I gave him five star that was in 2021 and I believe each time I go I do try my best to give them excellent reviews even though I’m a 24 seven caregiver to my 93 year-old mom I don’t have a lot of time to post, but they are worth it !⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Fantastic experience: What a delight! After about six years of procrastinating two crowns, a trip to the endodontist, a generous pour of anxiety, late cancelling a crown somewhere else, and one to four shakes of completely psyching myself out (and perhaps a few tears), I am grateful to report: It was not, in fact, that bad. How embarrassing! While it's a real L for the ole ego to discover that I can, in fact, survive a trip to the dentist, it's an absolute boon for the soul. Melissa and Dr. Bakula were rays of sun in a medical winter. They're encouraging, kind, warm, and fun to be around, which is a feat in and of itself, given how much foot traffic they're probably fielding. Oh, also, I think they fixed my tooth. 10 points for Gryffindor, or maybe Ballas Dental Care. EDIT: I'd be remiss not to shout out the front desk team, whose compassion and care made me leave wishing they were family friends who'd tell me all their saucy stories at the neighborhood barbeque.

My latest tooth adventure involved a very sore tooth which required nothing more than taking care of a cusp on the offending tooth. I was able to book and be seen the same day so major kudos to the Ballas Dental team for helping me out. Concerning dental cleanings, the dental hygenist I'm paired with is professional as well as friendly and makes the dental cleaning appointments not scary at all as some people might believe them to be.
