Fantastic experience: My Doctor and her assistant, I completely forgot her name but she had blond hair and was scanning my teeth for impressions and I had to bring my 4 year old son and she was the best and made us feel literally at home lol and I have never felt that way at a dentist office. Thank you guys so much for all your help and Dental Depot off main in Norman is the BEST.

Fantastic experience: I’ve had a couple teeth pulled and soon to have cavities filled here. The dentist and staff are very friendly and honest! I have pretty bad anxiety around going to the dentist in general but my experience here has been better than experiences in the past at other offices. I’m actually getting work done now that should have been done years ago but was denied because of greed from other dentists. This dentist is working with my insurance and taking the steps needed to actually help me which is very much appreciated ! Also I usually have a hard time getting numb but they are very good at what they do here and numbed me up very well!

Fantastic experience: I’ll admit, I was skeptical because of some reviews…but my work friend who has teenagers said she’s been going here since they were little. We’ve tried 5 different dentists and most of them were wanting to do UNNECESSARY fillings and UNNECESSARY things that my kid AND me DONT “ACTUALLY” need. There is only one dentist that is nice and I wish I could tell you her name. Most of the dental assistants are nice but some are nicer than others. I love love love that I can go to the same office my kid is going to AND I can be there when she is getting work done and she can be with me!!!!

Negative experience: The dental assistant was absolutely incredible with my son the actual dentist only came in with a flashlight for about 15 seconds then told us to leave and recommend us to go somewhere else which I didn’t quite like but okay I guess

Fantastic experience: This particular visit was exceptional. I can tell there has been some changes in the company. Wait time minimal and staff with smiles minus the front desk ppl. Fantastic experience: I am so glad a coworker told me about Dental Depot… I saw what a beautiful transformation was done on her and I asked her to tell me about it. When I got my final result I was floored. My 2 previous sets of dentures made my face distorted. When I came in I told the Doctor what I wanted and because of my previous experiences were really traumatic on a daily basis for more than 10 yrs. I look like me! Negative experience: My experience with the current coordinator and direct healthcare staff is amazing. They cared and made you feel accepted. The previous manager, Luca, they said her name was very rude and did not care if Dental Depot maintained the patient’s. She told me I could go elsewhere for dental care just to let her know where to send my x-rays and hangup on me. Set aside , again, the coordinator I spoke to and the dental staff are great. I had a bridge and two crowns to be delivered and it took almost a year to get them in my mouth. Luckily, the temporary’s held up until the coordinator allowed me a dental appointment. Unfortunately, with that being said, I’m made the decision to stop doing business with Dental Depot. My visit was on a referral , my tribe was paying for the visit and Luca made it appear she was not excited about my visit. She made me feel uncomfortable and unaccepted.

Negative experience: This place has done horrible work for my sister and now my mom. Do not recommend. Edited to add. She has tried that. She’s a super nice lady but no one in the office seems to care that my mom is unable to even eat due to the horrible job they have done on her denture

Fantastic experience: Great staff very welcoming very clean facility My hygienist Angela was amazing best experience I've ever had at a dentist office in my whole life! She explained the procedure/tools being used Was very gentle and did a great job at making me smile with confidence once again I live less than a mile away from another location but dare not switch!! Negative experience: My friend has had terrible service here. They are clearly in it for the money and not for helping people. They would tell him what his next appointment was going to cost than add on costs when he came in. He would save up for the amount, they gave him, the cost would be, then always have to figure out how to pay more last minute. This happened several times. They also gave him a smooth edged permanent crown for his canine, so he basically looks like he has a molar where his canine should be. Does not look right and just proves they are not a competent office. I would recommend anyone considering this dentist to look elsewhere. They are money-grabbing and do not care about their patients.

Positive experience: The experience was great a great staff a great environment even though had 2 temporary crowns put in and next day one of them fell off. Human error. Hopefully when call Monday they will get me in asap to refit crown. But initially the experience was great . Well since then had the same crown reset 2 or 3 times since then. Little frustrating . Would like to feel confident the work that was done and paid for would last awhile. Good thing they haven't charged me for the resets. We shall see what happens in the future . Well had to go back and get the same crown reset again on 3/8/2025 for the 5th or 6th time. Have a better understanding of why it keeps coming off. Just frustrating. And a little feeling of paranoia of when it will fall off again. But I am pleased of the quick response to get it put back on thank you. had a cleaning 5/17/2025. Went well nice staff.

Negative experience: I was brought in with the hope I could get a tooth pulled. Instead of communication I got short responses, spoken down to, and treated as if I was unmanageable for being honest. I asked for clarification and immediately got referred out as soon as I mentioned I would need understanding, if the doctor couldn’t handle the expressions on my face while she operated. The bone vibrates and my brain tells me what’s happening even when numb, it’s mental pain, Dr Ophus said “I don’t mind hurting you” which I can respect the honesty from her, I cannot however respect the treatment as if my own transparency was unmanageable. She Refused to pull the tooth that’s causing me severe pain. Costed me valuable time as I do not like any kind of pain medicine nor narcotic and was forced to go to the emergency room at 1am the same morning to ease the suffering I was experiencing. As an individual who just wanted transparency, after spending $ to get an empty piece of paper with none of the information written on it as well as being recommended to the orthopedic surgeon I already have scheduled for May 6th, which was stated. I simply suggest you find a dentist who is willing to have humility to those who have had bad experiences, not dismissing it as “oh what you think and how it is is way different” That’s disrespectful beyond measure and dismissive of my experience. As a man with autistic tendencies and ADHD be careful, the outside door catches wind and is extremely heavy. Scared myself leaving the place after being expressively looked down by the entire office and wanting to leave as soon as I realized they just took my money. Do Not Go Here if you want Clarity and a respectful service to be administered. Do go here if you never been to a dentist before. The poor man jumping in the next room across from me seemed manageable. Asking questions is apparently not.

Negative experience: This was my first visit and the experience was very nice! I'm a big chicken and they took extra good care to make sure I didn't get anxious! This VIP treatment will make it easier to handle the next visit. Thank you for taking good care of me! Second visit was much different. My teeth have not had a professional cleaning in 20 years and I wasn't sure what they were doing that day. I assumed cleaning my teeth and filling cavities. Instead of cleaning my teeth, they filled my cavities that were in the front of my mouth and sent me on my way. I've never had a filling done on dirty teeth! I wasn't even greeted by the dentist as they came in to do the work. All the dentist said to me was "could you scoot up?" I will no longer recommend or steer anyone in your direction!

Fantastic experience: I"m always extremely anxious having dental work done, especially anticipating the shots. Victoria numbed my mouth for a filling. She was gentle and took her time. I have to say it was the least pain I've ever experienced feeling only a slight pinch with the first shot. I felt nothing with the next 2. The entire procedure only took a few minutes. Dr. Ophus is the best!

Negative experience: Update for 2025: Be cautious about receiving unexpected bills from them and charges that seem fabricated. I haven't been a patient since 2024, yet out of nowhere, they’re sending me a bill! When I called the billing department, they seemed clueless and unsure of how to handle it, but they had no problem asking me to pay. I heard mixed reviews about Dental Depot on Main Street—both good and bad—and I decided to check it out myself. They initially started off well but ended up making a lot of mistakes. I don't usually write reviews, whether good or bad, but the experience at the Norman location on Main Street was a nightmare! It seemed like no one knew what they were doing, and some of the nurses were giving out incorrect information while acting as if they were the doctors. Everyone seemed too friendly with each other, which made it difficult to address any concerns. My worst experience there occurred when I went in because I was biting down on a metal part that caused my teeth to shift. The doctor tried to fix it by shaving my teeth, but the nurse wasn’t doing her job. There are two sections in the dental chair: one for water and the other for suction. She didn't allow me to get the dirty water out, and when I tried to hint at needing the suction, she shaved the wrong part of the tub. What upset me the most was that when I started choking on the water, the doctor refused to raise the chair to let me spit it out. She left the room without checking if I was okay, which was incredibly unprofessional. The nurse didn’t apologize or acknowledge her mistake and kept asking me what was wrong, despite ignoring my concerns about the metal part. To top it off, the nurse's long hair was not tied back, which bothered me as I didn’t want it near my mouth. If you're thinking about going to Dental Depot, be aware that it's not as great as people might say. They don’t seem to care much as long as they get paid. I’ll be looking for a new dental office with better service. I hope this review helps you make a better choice. Today I received an email from the owner. Let's try this again! I said... Everyone seemed too friendly with each other, which made it difficult to address any concerns. If I am not mistaken Luka is in that building. What good will it be?

Negative experience: I didn’t want to give 2 stars I really wanted to give 5. I have always had such an unsavory time with dental places ever since I can remember. They always seem to be about money and never about making someone feel cared about, especially with how it’s exclaimed that oral health is so VITAL but it’s treated as a luxury through insurance and we are charged luxury prices. Therefore regular cleanings/checkups not even to mention fillings or god forbid more can be detrimental to your finances for even the most well off, but I digress. I was seen here for a dental cleaning and general checkup and the hygienists were so nice and caring, they were so incredibly sweet to my daughter and I just generally felt looked after and heard. I was excited to continue my journey with them as well as I could afford until I received this email. This email struck me off guard as lowkey aggressive, shameful and even manipulative. Threatening to inactivate an account that doesn’t really even matter in hopes to grab my attention? Shame me into promptly scheduling an appointment by mentioning I am neglecting my oral health REGARDLESS of whether I have or haven’t seen anyone else? Manipulative because this was the ONLY attempt to contact me yet they brand it as “final attempt”? This email is distasteful and kind of makes me feel weird about coming back. This email is shrouded in passive aggressive air while parading as a beacon for me to unburden myself from neglect as though dental care is extremely affordable, easy and widely available to all. The staff in my eyes didn’t fit the aggressive tone of this email and maybe it was the idea of a more corporate attempt but either way this has got to change. This rubbed me the wrong way and I feel like it needed to be addressed. The gap of empathy and knowledge between patient and provider in the dental industry is such an anomaly in my eyes. How can you be so far out in understanding that the REASON for such long gaps in service from people or inability to show up for appointments is that it quite literally costs you an arm and a leg in order to keep your teeth is beyond me. For dental companies to place the responsibility of savagely pursuing their dental health as aggressively as we should, you should be advocating with the insurance companies to stop categorizing dental health as almost 90% cosmetic instead of basic general health.

Negative experience: I went in for a filling on 3/8, which went well. My dentist was professional and very quick, her assistant was much the same. The following day, my gums behind the tooth which had the filling began to become inflamed. I assumed it would calm down on its own and gave it a week. After a week, it became clear (due to increasing size and pain) that this wasn’t simply inflammation, but likely an abscess caused by the filling process irritating my impacted wisdom tooth. I take 100% responsibility for not having my wisdom teeth extracted yet. Had they been, I likely would not have had this occur. Otherwise, my dentist did a phenomenal job. I tried calling in to see my dentist that week to get on antibiotics and something to help with the pain. I was told I was on a “same day” list and due to my dentist not being available, I was not allowed to schedule an appointment with another dentist, but could try on Saturday. Saturday rolls around and I’m easily experiencing 7/10 dental pain. I call the moment they open, and once again they cite their “same day” list as a reason I cannot schedule an appointment. Later on in the day, the abscess erupts leaving what appeared to be a pit in my gums. I’m freaking out at this point, and call in asking to speak with a nurse and practically begging to be seen for antibiotics. The nurse tells me to come in, I’m seen by a different dentist as mine was out, and I got the antibiotics I needed and was told to schedule an appointment with my actual dentist for a review. As I was leaving I was told by someone at the front desk, “By the way, so sorry you actually aren’t on the same day list. I don’t know why you were told that.” Essentially meaning I should have been able to schedule an appointment days earlier, and shouldn’t have had to experience a week of constant pain. Cherry on top: when I came in for my appointment with my dentist, my hygienist took an X-ray and told me “You have an impacted wisdom tooth. I’m not sure why you’re here, if you were already referred for your wisdom teeth at your last visit, that’s all your dentist would be doing for you today. You can leave if you want” and so I left, having allowed Dental depot to bill my insurance for an X-ray that wasn’t necessary, and required me to take time off work. The issue with a high volume dentist is this. Patients get lost in the chaos of 4 dentists managing several patients at a time, and patients can end up suffering for it. While at my appointment waiting on my dentist I overheard her stating “this is unethical” in between talk of cake and other patients, and presumably about the number of patients she was juggling. I don’t disagree with her.

Negative experience: This place would get a zero if I could give one. They are holding my crown hostage to a "same day appt" status where I have to call every day to see if they can fit me in. They will not set up an appt for a product that I've already paid for!!!! This is HORRIBLE customer service!!!! I forgot to add, they also did not call me to tell me the crown arrived. If Dental Deport is going to hold me to a certain "standard" regarding appointments, they should also be held accountable for a certain standard to call when crowns are in.... They need to be reprimanded in the office!!!! If anything happens to my tooth while I have to wait, I'm holding Dental Depot responsible.

Negative experience: Once is a mistake, twice is incompetence. The first mistake was when they tried giving us someone else's retainer. The second was when they “double booked" our appointment, which shouldn't be possible when using a modern scheduler, but here we are.

Fantastic experience: They got me in same day for a severely infected tooth, got me on antibiotics and I’m scheduled for an extraction in 3 days. Staff was amazing, the person that cared for me was EXTRA amazing! I think her name was Lindsey, but I’m not 100% sure. She made sure I was comfortable at every turn!! Even when I had to open my mouth to do X-rays, she was so gentle and nurturing! Highly recommend this place for adults who use soonercare!!!

Negative experience: Horrible experience, missed or was tardy to one or two appointments and was told they wouldn't schedule me again for years. Needing dental care, and not able to reprimand myself for my attendance faults is lousy, several cavities have been left uncared for, for several years now. Will be finding new dental care ASAP elsewhere.
