Hadley Family Dentistry

Negative experience: I was told I had 3 cavities. I felt multiple “red flags”- from being only shown a picture of my teeth- not an X-ray- to being told the only appointment to fix my “cavities” was the next day or I would have to wait 2-3 weeks to be seen. I decided to get a second opinion. Which stated I did not have any cavities. I do have staining but no decay or softness to any of my teeth. Every doctor/dentist has their own opinion on plan of care. My preference is to not have my tooth drilled into until necessary. So will not return to a conservative dentist that will drill for staining, when there is no decay. (I also am not the only one with this type of review. There have been others in the last month that said after a second opinion they did not have a cavity, after being told they did by this dentist office). *Update 1 year later- still no cavities or need for dental work of any kind. So glad I advocated for myself and did not allow my teeth to needlessly be drilled into.

Fantastic experience: The only reason that I'm giving 5 stars is because of Ms. Hannah, I asked her to send my X Rays over to Eagle Creek Dentistry, and she sent them immediately,hank you Hannah for your professionalism. Before hand I called 3 times Pryor and a employee named Rachel answered the phone reach time, and u asked her all 3 times if she could send over my X Rays, she said yes but never sent them, she is very unprofessional, so thank you Hannah again for handling your job with professionalism.

Negative experience: My daughter got a filling done there, She is in severe pain and they don't give out pain meds She's suffering so bad and they don't seem to care We had problems with this place one other time and we quit going So this will not happen again We will not be going back. She has ended up spending 80 bucks for medication for infection.. So over this place.

Each time I've been into the office interacting with different staff, all have been professional, friendly, fun, and made me feel welcome. I felt my concerns were listened to and I was addressed with options going forward with dental work. No one loves going to the dentist but this office has made it a much better experience for me. I haven't been to a dentist in 3 years and first time seeing one in the state of Indiana in over 10 years. They're extremely good and some of the best staff I've seen. Would highly recommend!

Positive experience: The front desk staff are very inviting and friendly. I did feel like I was bothering one of the people who worked on me with asking too many questions. The country music playing for 2 hours was very annoying, but that's a personal preference

Fantastic experience: I went in full of anxiety. I just knew that I had permanent damage and that I was going to get bad news. It was the complete opposite. The assistant, I believe her name was Lilly, helped put me at ease immediately. She was just easy to talk to. Then she brought in the dentist, who wasted no time addressing my concerns and assuring me nothing happening in my mouth wad super out of the ordinary. We came up with a game plan, set the next appointment and I was on my way. Thank you Hadley Family Dental.

Fantastic experience: I came to Hadley dentistry from another dentist. I was very disappointed with the first dentist that I went to and had problems after they were finished. I decided to come to Hadley family dentistry and have my repairs done from the previous place I went. I have had nothing but wonderful treatment, Wonderful doctors, and wonderful atmosphere. I had implants put in on my upper jaw and let me tell you I have not regretted having them put in. They are wonderful and I’ve had no trouble at all. Everyone here has treated me with respect in the treatment that I received has been outstanding. I have recommended them to several of my friends and family members who have switched dentist to come to Hadley dentistry. And I want to finish off with a big thank you to everyone that works there and everyone who has helped me out thank you very much.

Fantastic experience: April 22 2025 Once again I popped in from overseas, to visit Family in Indianapolis. I contacted Hadley Dental on short notice to get my teeth cleaned. They kept me updated with cancelations to match my short visit. They worked with me to get the best care and price as my insurance ended once I left overseas. Dr. Sloan and Mattalin did an incredible job taking care of my teeth. December 2024 I've been a patient for years. I work overseas so I pop in on short notice. They always see me and take care of my request. During my recent visit from Texas, My crown came off Tuesday night before my flight to Indianapolis. They took me Wednesday and fixed it right away. I highly recommend Hadley Dental.

Negative experience: Like many other reviewers I was told I need work done but a 2nd opinion said I did not. I was told a crown needed to be replaced and the mouthguard I wear at night would need to be replaced to fit the new crown. I left without scheduling the appointment and stressed about it for 6 months. I ended up going to another dentist who examined X-rays and the crown itself and said it's fine. My other concern with Hadley Family Dentistry are the rotating dentists and hygienists. I see the dentist every 6months as recommended and the hygienists are never the same. Additionally, every 2-3 years, the dentist is different as well. They tend to be young dentists so perhaps they're fresh out of school and this is their first stop to get experience before moving on. I can't confirm this, but it's strange that so many dentists filter in and out. Lastly, at Hadley the hygienists barely spend any time removing plaque and you don't leave with that freshly cleaned feeling. I didn't realize this until visiting my new dentist. My teeth actually felt clean after leaving the new dentist. I do not recommend Hadley Family Dentistry.

Fantastic experience: This place is heaven for a social butterfly. They're very transparent and tell you exactly what's next, they'll make great conversation and have you feel at ease throughout the entire time. I'm a new patient who went for a general cleaning. I loved that I got to look at what the assistant and hygienist were looking at and they talked me through everything they noticed and answered any questions I had.

I enjoy even my time in the waiting room as it is a family-friendly atmosphere. Smiles and pleasant conversation are always the norm. All the Doctors and staff are professional and compassionate, especially Liz. 6.27.24 Great visit as always. Dr Hoover and Teresa were wonderful. 1.10.25 Savannah and Dr Ogara were great. The front desk is very friendly and efficient. I enjoy coming to my appointments because everyone seems to enjoy being there. It’s a blessing to see smiling and pleasant people.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been going here for about 4 or 5 years and I have never had a bad experience. Every hygienist i’ve had is super friendly and gentle. The dentist, Dr. Davis, has never failed to make me feel comfortable during a long procedure. I also did an internship here about a year ago and they provided me with a comfortable and easy learning environment. Absolutely love this office!!!
