Fantastic experience: All the staff at this office was very kind and took their time to explain. I don't have no complaints about this office whatsoever. I've been to A LOT of dentist offices before and this one is the ONLY one I will come back to again and again! They are so friendly and just so darn nice. I visited his office on South 25th St. It was my first dental visit in about four years because I had such a bad experience before I had put off going. I was greeted and welcomed with no judgment that I had been absent from the dentist for quite a while. Their staff is welcoming, professional, kind, friendly, knowledgeable, reassuring,. And just plain very good at what they do! Dr. Schwerer himself spent more time with me than any other dentist I have seen in my 60 years. After avoiding the dentist for four years, I have to attend to an old crown, but was told that they handle this process in one visit! All in one visit. Great news. I am so very happy I have a new dentist! I have referred four people to him and they are all pleased. Look no further.. this is it.

The billing department seems to struggle a bit and I have to keep on them to try to get my money back. So difficult to deal with their accounting. Dr Carson and the other dentist and dental assistants get 5 stars. The billing department gets 1 star. Please fix this!

Negative experience: Nice young Dentist SCHWERER, but…. Not helpful staff . I had tooth cracked in sever pain , was told tooth could and should be saved and do root canal . DR ORDERED prescription for penicillin and called in to my pharmacy, unknown I was Allergic ! Pharmacist called dental office and I called , was never responded to my calls in regards to allergic reaction , finally 5 days later responded to pharmacy?? I was in so much pain I WAS NOT SLEEPING AND MY FACE WAS SWOLLEN SO…. I called and spoke to DENIST SCHWERER STAFF AND WAS TOLD EXTACTION WAS $1000.00 I CALLED local Dentist in Traditions and extraction with exam was $299.00 same day ! WTHECK

Fantastic experience: I recently went in for a toothache. Figured out right away that I needed a root canal done. Within two hours of my initial appointment, the pain was gone. They got me in quick and I was so relieved. Everyone, and I mean everyone in that office was spectacular. Dr. Lanzi worked on me and he was amazing. Listened to me intently. Acknowledged when I needed a quick break. Worked fast and thorough. I cannot stress enough how fantastic this office works. I highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: My appointment was for an old crown that had come off Dr Lanzi cleaned and prepped the tooth then remounted the crown. I thought I was done, but he found the tooth next to it was an implant where the crown was now loose. I had no idea this implant was loose, as it has been there for over 30 years. Dr Lanzi cleaned the crown and tightened back on the implant. Two fixes in one visit, wonderful !

Fantastic experience: My wife has been a patient at SDC for a long time and she’s been telling me i should leave my dentist and come to hers. I finally gave in and went to see them yesterday. My hygienist, I think her name was Samaris. She was the best hygienist I have ever had. She's very compassionate with her patients an to do a great job! She is amazing. Dr. Colton was very thorough and kind an caring. This is the only dentist office I have been to, that I never felt very nervous in, as I do not like to go to the dentist. Chrissy greated us in the waiting room with a friendly smile and asked if we had any questions or anything we wanted to know before we went back. She was great as she was cleaning my daughter’s teeth and educated us on ways to navigate through braces with the dental instruments. She had great conversation with my daughter throughout the process and was very positive. She made my daughter very comfortable. She reviewed everything with me and scheduled our next appointments right away. The dentist was very good and also made my daughter comfortable. The receptionist up front greeted us on the way in and on the way out. She reviewed everything in details for our next visit. I received notifications on our next visit right away. The dentist office can be an intimidating place for children and kids, but this team made it a great experience and removed the nervousness. A great experience and an all around fantastic team at this location.

Fantastic experience: I love this team! The Dr’s and staff definitely make sure their patients are comfortable and knowledgeable, they thoroughly explain every step throughout treatment. The teamwork alone is commendable! The office is clean and organized. You can tell the Drs and staff are passionate and take pride in their work. I travel almost 6 hours to get this kind of dental care , and it’s worth it. Not many practices like this around anymore.

Fantastic experience: I was afraid I would be in for more pain when I went in to get my crown but even though the doctor has to do a little surgery to get the temporary one out it still was only a slight discomfort from the drill. But the doctor and his asst were very kind and took their time to fix my tooth right. I actually left left there in no pain and a great looking mouth !!

The staff was Profesional, happy and glad you choose this office to have the dental work completed. I handed them my information, and right away they were able to work through the insurance that I carry and made my diagnoses and an affordable plan. Dr. Schwerer did a pain free root canal and a temporary crown, to wear until the porcelain crown is ready. Fantastic experience: Dr Lanzi is great. I moved here from GA after having a very skilled dentist. Honestly I was not sure about him at first because he looks so young. After a couple appointments, I was very impressed with his knowledge and bedside manner, so I allowed him to do my bridge and crown. I’m very happy to say that he has exceeded my expectations and did a fabulous job. He is a very kind, skilled, and caring dentist. He supports the fact that I do things a bit holistically. I deny some “protocol” items due to my own health concerns and he has never pushed anything upon me that I wasn’t comfortable with. He is also very skilled with his hand eye coordination. He truly is a natural as a dentist and this is more than a job, for him, it’s a calling. I am a redhead so I need extra anesthesia and his shots don’t even hurt!!!! He has techniques to eliminate the pain involved so I was completely comfortable every part of the procedure. I couldn’t be happier. Oh and also Tess his assistant is so kind and caring. They really make a great team. Tess even asked me what music I like and she put worship music on for me during my procedure. It was very kind and thoughtful of her and it really helped me that day. If you’re looking for a great dental office, you can stop here. If your experience is like mine, you won’t be disappointed.

They are not pushy but made me aware of any issues I have and what I need to do to care for my teeth. I think they are pricey but they do offer an in house discount, which I took advantage of. I will continue to go to Schwerer for all my dental needs.

Every person that I have encountered over the phone & front desk has been wonderful. The hygienist was so professional. She explained every step as she went but her friendly personality was comforting. The dental assistant & dentist were very kind, patient & reassuring during the consultation. I'll drop another review after having more work done but at this point I'm confident in my choice of dental practice. Update - I received a root canal from Dr. Lanzi a few weeks ago. Dr. Lanzi and his assistant were so patient and understanding. The procedure went very well including the process of numbing, shots and the actual root canal. I had half a day of discomfort and aside from sticking with soft foods for a few days, it was as if nothing had been done! I'm so thankful for finding this dental practice. Every person I have met has been top notch. Thank you.

Fantastic experience: Very pleased with this practice. Staff is exceptionally friendly, knowledgeable, caring and eager to make the patient feel comfortable. Dentists are committed to saving patient’s natural teeth and focus on preventive care. Questions about care or procedures are encouraged and answers easy to understand. I don’t like going to the dentist (who does?), but this group of dentistry professionals has my confidence and is the place I will continue to rely on for all my dental needs.
