Fantastic experience: Absolutely recommend A Brighter Smile for extractions! They give you a tshirt, water, a blanket and ear buds (if needed) and are fast, efficient and friendly! In the past, I got 6 teeth extracted at once (at a different dental office) and I was traumatized so I was initially nervous about getting my molar extracted today but with the numbing, I didn’t even feel it when they pulled it! 1000000/10 will recommend! Dr. Thuy, the assistant Devin and my sister, assistant Lindsey were amazing

Fantastic experience: Huge shoutout to my amazing dental hygienist, Alyssa! She took her time, made sure I was fully prepared for the doctor’s exam, answered all my questions about oral health, and even offered helpful suggestions based on her findings. The assistants, Kim and McKenzie, were also incredibly kind and attentive—making sure I was comfortable with a blanket, pillow, drink, and even a little dental goodie bag! They handled my x-rays, prepped me for the hygienist and doctor, and guided me smoothly through the entire visit. Dr. Hernandez was very thorough and professional. She did an additional inspection, offered thoughtful insight, and provided a referral to a specialist she believed could benefit me. Together, we came up with a great treatment plan that I feel confident about. Lastly, a big thank you to Tamara at the front desk, who greeted me warmly, checked me in, and gave me a great first impression of the clinic. Everyone I encountered was kind, professional, and made me feel genuinely welcomed. I left feeling well cared for, and already have my 6-month appointment booked!

Fantastic experience: Everyone was great, and took care of a tooth I have had problems with for a while! They actually lost power and told me I was more than welcome to wait if I wanted and as soon as it came back on they took me straight back.

Negative experience: A Brighter Smile made both myself and my ex-husband sign contracts for my son’s braces. They only forced me to uphold my end, and when my ex husband said he would no longer be honoring the contract, A Brighter Smile did not force him to uphold it but instead offset his portion of the contract onto me. This is not only highly unprofessional but illegal.

I’ve heard friends who go to other dentists complain about being pressured into certain cosmetics but I have never had that problem. Every hygienist and dentist is pleasant. All the information given was very helpful, I was in and out in no time, she made sure I was comfortable and in no pain the whole time!! On top of that, they actually worked with you on your payment as well!!

Negative experience: I had a temporary crown made at the Jimmy Davis location. The office is less than a mile from my home I had to go to the Bert Kouns this morning at 9 to get my crown put in. When I got there, they told me my crown had not come in. No one called me which would have saved me a trip across town. My temporary crown had come off this morning but I wasn’t concerned because I should have gotten the permanent crown this morning. The technician could not make a normal temporary because my impression for the crown was at the Viking Drive location. She made a temporary of lower quality. She told me if I wasn’t happy with it I could go to the Viking Drive and they would make a regular temporary. I was ok with the temporary I got today, but when I do get the real crown, I have to go to the Viking drive location. I understand businesses want multiple locations to serve different areas of town. But when I need dental work, I need ant to go to the one right down the road. When I get the crown, I will have gone to 3 different locations. It seems crazy to me. I do have to add that I was given a 10$ sonic gift card for my inconvenience

Fantastic experience: First off, I do NOT like the dentist. The whole experience is invasive and uncomfortable to me. BUT I had an emergency and I contacted a brighter smile and they were so nice and helpful! I’m 36 weeks pregnant and they were accommodating with that, I was able to express my anxiety and they were super nice and patient with me. I was able to get my tooth fixed quickly and smoothly. They have a customer for life!

So much so I called a friend of mine after one appointment and raved about how well taken care of I felt. I trust them with myself and my four year old sons care and recommend them to anyone looking. So I call Brighter Smile on a Wednesday and they got me in the VERY NEXT DAY— (I had to pay an office fee charge for a new patient appointment to be made, which was totally fine) drove 2 hours, made it to my appointment. I was treated with the UTMOST respect, and courtesy. The team there at A Brighter Smile Burt Kouns was HANDS DOWN the most cheerful, most respectful, most professional and truly passionate about helping their clients feel better. I was given many options for treatment routes- all in which I was given ample amount of time to make my decision on which I felt was the route I would like to take (as in I was given ALL the estimates up front for every option I had as well as was not expected to make any choice RIGHT THEN). After consulting with Dr. Hernandez, she made me feel at ease and HEARD-she didn’t just over look over my concerns and she didn’t get upset with me when i got emotional about the news I was being given. It was a very reassuring experience. I was given my prescriptions to have filled and was able to leave with no extra financial burden bc of the office fee I had paid the day before. (That was really nice bc I expected to have to pay more for the X-rays or some added extra expense for being seen- however I was wrong about that. Which was an ADDED BONUS!) for ONCE in a VERY LONG TIME, I’m looking forward to returning to the dentist to have my SMILE returned back to its original beauty!! Thank God for the amazing staff at A Brighter Smile-Burt Koons location- if it wasn’t for them I would still be stressing over what to do… I am happy to say that I will be returning to A Brighter Smile to see Dr Hernandez and the ladies that take pride in what they do— which is HELPING people when they feel as if they have NO HOPE LEFT and don’t know what else to do… my advice is if that’s how you’re feeling (like I was feeling when I first arrived to my appointment) then call A Brighter Smile Burt Kouns and make an appointment! YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED THAT YOU DID!! THEY WILL HELP YOU FEEL BETTER AND THEY WILL DO WHATEVER THEY CAN TO HELP YOUR SMILE GET BACK TO BEAUTIFUL!! OH I ALMOST FORGOT TO MENTION, talk about the QUICKEST and MOST INFORMATIVE dentist appointment I’ve EVER BEEN TO IN MY LIFE!! I arrived and MAYBE sat in the waiting area for a MAXIMUM OF 3 minutes before being called back to be seen. Total time frame of my entire appointment, that includes x rays and the consultation with Dr Hernandez as well as talking over my options with the lady of the financial portion of everything I had discussed and the options I had to choose from. Total time was less than an HOUR! Yes LESS THAN ONE HOUR!! I was in and out of there, I felt so much better knowing I was at the right place to get the help I needed and the comfort knowing I would be in the hands of Dr Hernandez and her team (once it was time for me to return for my next visit). So if you’re nervous or anxious or scared about going to the dentist, or maybe you don’t have ALL DAY to wait around being anxious waiting for your name to be called, maybe you’re embarrassed about the way you’ve let things get out of hand or just don’t know where to start…. Give A Brighter Smile Burt Kouns location a call. YOU WILL NOT REGRET THAT YOU DID. THEY WILL HELP YOU!!! THEY WANT TO HELP YOU!!!
