Fantastic experience: Mrs Taylor and Mrs Madison, and Mrs Shay! I can not put into words how thoughtful and amazing they are at their job. Not only was i scared to get my first tooth pulled, but they were more than patient with me and made me feel SEEN. Explained the process and always asked if im okay! Very amazing staff, if it wasnt for them id still be sitting in bed crying instead of smiling. Great work and great team!

Fantastic experience: I had appt today with Dr. Djenane Lemaire, it was a very pleasant experience. She and her assistant Ty made me feel very relaxed and comfortable. They were very attentive, and very thorough in explaining the procedure, letting me know what to expect. They were very detailed with the after care...they welcomed and encouraged questions. It was overall the best dental experience.

Fantastic experience: I had anxiety going in due not having been to the dentist in years, but my dentist Tammy made the whole process very easy. She helped me be comfortable and answered any questions I had, as well as, allowed me to take breaks if needed. The x-rays and dental cleaning went by fast and without any problems. I highly recommend this dentistry, especially Tammy because she was great!

Fantastic experience: I was afraid of what to expect coming here!!! From the first encounter I began to feel a little better. The next person was even better… she actually listened to what I had to say and it was important to her. Finally someone that was WILLING to hear me and try to help. The next person was even better. When she came in she analyzed the problem and still listened, made suggestions and recommendations and assured me that I could be helped. She assured me that she was going to confer with the experts and there was a solution and resolution to my problems. Then the expert arrived (Dr Williams ) and presented answers to my questions and an explanation of what would be needed to RESOLVE my issue…

Fantastic experience: Dr. Wheat is the best dentist in Newnan Georgia, I have been going to him every since he was down town Newnan, he takes very good care of you if you have an infection he will give you antibiotics to treat you, then after you finish all of medication he will reschedule your appointment so he can get the work done, you want even know he has pulled your teeth out! Fantastic experience: My experience at Wheat Family Dental was awesome- it always is and I have been going to Dr. Wheat for 25 years. He always has excellent staff members as well. I have recommended Wheat Dental to everyone I know.

Negative experience: My overall experience was extremely disappointing, despite the positive interactions I had with the front desk staff and the gentleman who performed the X-ray—both of whom were courteous and professional. Unfortunately, the remainder of the visit fell significantly short of expectations. The doctor spoke to me in a condescending manner, as though addressing a child, and was quick to criticize the work done by a previous dental office without a thorough explanation or professional courtesy. Additionally, the hygienist declined to perform the standard cleaning for which I had originally scheduled the appointment, insisting instead on a deep cleaning. Her approach felt more coercive than consultative, and both she and the doctor attempted to pressure me into undergoing the procedure immediately by suggesting that delaying treatment could lead to the loss of my teeth. This aggressive and unprofessional conduct made me feel uncomfortable and distrustful of the care being recommended. I left the office feeling frustrated and dissatisfied.

Fantastic experience: I have been to many dentists over the years and Wheat Family Dental is by far the best. I had an infected tooth that needed to be extracted and a different dentist I was seeing scheduled me almost a month out. It ended up getting worse while waiting for my appointment and I needed an immediate extraction. After calling almost 30 different dentists this was the only office that was able to get me in the next day for treatment. I was pretty nervous for the procedure but everyone here was so kind and reassuring and really helped to calm me down. The whole procedure took less than 30 minutes and I felt absolutely no pain. When the doctor pulled my tooth I had no idea it was even out yet. They were professional, kind and funny and really made me feel like they care about their patients. Needless to say this is the only dentist I will be going to from now on. If I could leave more than 5 stars I would and if you’re reading this and you’re nervous about dental work you need to get done just know that they will take care of you here.

Doctor’s time was brief, but I thought enough to determine if there was a need for other interactions. Looks I may need a filling, but not right away. I am scared to death of the needle used to numb the area. It’s extremely painful to me. Is there another way to do this without the needle?

Fantastic experience: I had to schedule a short notice visit when I chipped a tooth. I ended up needed a crown on that tooth. The entire process was smooth and professional. The team is clearly very well organized and all the team members did their part well from scheduling to billing to prep to procedure and follow up scheduling.

Fantastic experience: Absolutely love, love, love Dr. Wheat. Since 2005 I have been a patient of his and he has NEVER disappointed. I travel an hour and a half for my appointments and will continue to do so. Even my mother loves him. She recently moved to this area and have always been afraid and skeptical about going to the dentist. Now she doesn't even hesitate. Dr. Wheat and his entire staff have always made me feel very comfortable in all situations. I prefer Dr. Wheat because I am a very picky, loyal person but even in his absence and I had to see the other doctors, they too were just as great as he. Negative experience: Dr. Wheat and the oral health team are amazing. Great work with good speed and energy thats been well. However the appointments and scheduling and front desk are either willfully negligent or incompetent in scheduling matters. Ive had long waits, shown up to appointments that were no longer on the books, and just today not advised that my dentist was not in the office today. If dr. Wheat hired an entirely new staff to manage the front and scheduling there would be an easy 5 star rating here, but their incompetence and inconsistent care for my schedule and time leaves me with no other option than to change dentists.

Fantastic experience: Wheat Family Dental were very professional, from start to finish. The staff worked with me and explained everything every step of the way. They even informed me that there could be a difference in some fees as insurance may or may not cover certain portions and to be prepared for this so that it will not be a surprise to me if it happens. The dental staff was kind and on point to help in any way possible to make the procedure as comfortable as possible and also explained the steps from start to finish also. As for the Dentist himself, Dr. Leo Wheat was very busy with many patients that day, but he really was concerned with my dental issues and provide dental checks and plans for the required repairs on the crown and filling that i needed. He was very kind, thoughtful and really knew his stuff. The dentist and the staff made sure I was comfortable while even working in my mouth doing the repairs. All in all everything went very smooth. No complaints from me about this dental practice. I would highly recommend Wheat Family Dental to anyone that needs dental care with explanation of each procedures in advance to include billing. They are on point with appointments, try to make sure they can get you in even when it seems impossible they have same day walk-in and not to mention Dr Taylor is the BEST. Once he was finished he left the room without even a word. I didn’t even know he was gone. My nurse was very kind and thanked me for coming but I prefer a “warm and fuzzy” and an more personable doctor…. and I have decide if I return to Wheat Dental , I am going to request a different dentist.
