Fantastic experience: I hadn’t been to the dentist in quite some years before today, and all I can say is that my first experience at Shreveport Dental Solutions was AMAZING! My dental hygienist, Amanda, was super informative and detailed and made me feel included in the entire process! Dr. Kacos was so nice and explained everything thouroughly. I’ve already made 2 more appointments with them! Couldn’t recommend more!

Fantastic experience: Shreveport Dental Solutions is truly exceptional. I chose them based on their glowing Google reviews, and they exceeded my expectations. Before my first appointment, one of the dentists even called to introduce himself and establish a line of communication. That personal touch really set the tone. The office atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and the staff are genuinely friendly. Hygienist Stephanie and Dr. Patel had clearly read my intake form beforehand. They addressed me by name, acknowledged my dental history and anxiety, and went out of their way to put me at ease. Stephanie was both personable and professional during the cleaning, explaining each step, discussing results, and reviewing billing with full transparency. Dr. Patel was equally thoughtful and thorough when reviewing my X-rays and answering my questions. This dental office is different. They work together like a family and truly put patients first. Five stars, no hesitation.

Negative experience: This place is a rip off. They charge you for services you never received. They put a gash underneath my tongue, they could have killed me. If they had an option for a -0 they would have gotten that.

The dental hygienist Amanda was very informative and helpful on how much everything would cost and how to better benefit myself when it comes to my teeth. She really broke everything down to me on what would be best for my teeth in the future. I believe she deserves 5 stars herself.

Fantastic experience: I had a wonderful dental procedure today and couldn’t be more impressed with the care I received. Dr. Patel was phenomenal—extremely attentive, patient, and calm. Dr. Patel showed genuine compassion and concern, constantly checking my comfort and pain level throughout the procedure. What truly made the experience stand out was how Dr. Patel helped ease my anxiety. Dental visits usually make me very nervous, but his calm demeanor and reassuring presence immediately put me at ease. He and his assistant, Ms. Liz, ensured I felt safe and supported the entire time. The way Dr. Patel talked to the staff respectfully also stood out. The facility was also spotless—immaculately clean and very well-maintained, which added even more peace of mind. I highly recommend this dental office to anyone looking for expert care and a compassionate approach. I had confidence that this was the right place to visit because as soon as Ms. Nika answered the phone, she was so sweet, and when I arrived, she was very inviting! Ms. Tara was also nice and reached out to me to confirm my documentation and schedule my appointment.

I absolutely 100% recommend this facility and I am seen by Mysti. She is amazing and sweet; will tell you preventative options if she foresees a future issue to prevent.

Negative experience: Very over priced. $200 just to be seen with nothing done. $525 if you just want laughing gas for comfort and isn't included in some of the more painful or traumatic procedures. Even after trying to explain my budget I felt very pressured to spend $3,000 (nearly $400 for a tooth that didn't need work that day and I kept telling them I could do that later and needed the emergency tooth taken care of). I will say the upfront staff were so nice and caring! Edit to add: being called a liar about the prices is actually insane, I still have the paper work. (At most I rounded) as the day of treatment was I believe $169 but the 525 for gas was the exact number quoted. 325 for a tooth extraction I kept trying to explain I couldn't currently afford. And the 2 different plans given was first $3000 plus for a root canal and single tooth extraction. No laughing gas or sedation. The second option $1000 was 2 tooth removals (1 oh which looks like it was a bone graft charge even tho I was never told anything about a bone graft and I should be informed about my own dental work). Also being told "health care/ dental care is expensive" yea I know I'm not dumb which is why I went elsewhere and got better care in a budget I could afford and didn't feel pressured. 1 star now

Fantastic experience: Updated review after my procedure: I am SO glad I opted to go with my gut and travel for the work I needed done. I needed all 4 of my wisdom teeth removed and several cavities taken care of. As mentioned below, I am not a huge fan of dental work! But the entire experience was as easy as it could possibly be. I remember sitting down, and the next thing you know, I am back in the truck headed home! Recovery, for the most part, was a breeze (other than not being able to use a straw). Overall, I will always recommend Shreveport Dental Solutions! Previous Review: My entire experience here was absolutely unmatched. This place was so clean, every single employee I interacted with was so kind, and I had the amazing Amanda helping me all the way today. I’m not a huge fan of the dentist, low-key terrified if I’m being honest, and Amanda had me laughing during my appointment! Overall, I know my choice to get a second opinion on what I needed done was the best decision ever. I will keep the review updated after I receive my upcoming procedure!

To my surprise, Dr. Patel called me the day prior to my appointment to touch base. The entire staff was professional, courteous, and cheerful. The facility was modern, clean and orderly. I can’t imagine an appointment going better. Both techs were very informative and skilled. They even took care of a dental request that I had not scheduled. There was adequate parking and the office was easy to locate. I was impressed and highly recommend Shreveport Dental Solutions.

Fantastic experience: Love my dentist! Ok. That sounds weird, right? Trust me..I have never said that before meeting Dr. Kacos and his staff. Always friendly - love walking into their office and being treated so personally. They are prompt - your appt time means something. They manage your care thoughtfully and with your needs in mind. They accommodate “chickens” - if I have a serious procedure, sedation available. They care about your comfort. My husband and I recently moved to Tyler - but we aren’t changing dentists. That’s how good they are. My hygienist is the best!

Fantastic experience: Wonderful experience everytime I go there. I've always had anxiety about going to the dentist, but every visit I'm always made to feel comfortable, welcome and prioritized. Their office is very clean with windows everywhere (helps a lot if you get a little claustrophobic in a dental chair). My hygieneist, Tara is so friendly and warm. Dr. Patel is very informative and answers any questions I have in detail without rushing. The front desk staff is bubbly and welcoming from the time you walk in the door to the time you walk back out. I highly recommend them, especially for someone who gets nervous about dentist appointments.

Every time I am in this office, it is a five-star experience. From the moment, you walk in and get recognized by the staff "I'll check you in Mr. Martin and let them know you are here," to the entire process with Dr. Kacos or the dental technicians for your bi-annual dental health checkup, you are a VIP. Nika, at the front, along with her staff, are super friendly and genuine. They make you feel welcome and like you're at home. The office smells amazing and you could "eat off the floors," it's so clean. Today, I was in for teeth cleaning and X-Rays. Tara, the hygienist, is super sweet, friendly, and very professional. She is gentle, with your comfort in mind. Dr. Kacos is super educated and holds Masterships in several areas of Dentistry and tooth restoration, including Cosmetic dentistry. When you are in his hands, you're in the best of the best. There is no one in California, Dallas, or New York that offers you the services offered at Shreveport Dental Solutions. Fantastic experience: This was first time going. The entire appointment last for about an hour. I went to the back to shortly after arriving. I did all my X-rays and ct scans. Amanda was nice and thorough in her exam. Never had a periodontal exams before. It was a little uncomfortable but I was excited to get it done. I had an overall great experience. I’m in the process of transferring my kids as well.

Fantastic experience: Very helpful, caring and thorough. I accidentally fell asleep multiple times in my double root canal and hope they didn't notice But they take care of you and make sure you aren't in pain, so if I can fall asleep during a double root canal, theyre doing something right!

Negative experience: I went in for a cleaning and preventative check up . They do 20 angles of xrays exposing you to lots of radiation so they can build your insurance tons of money . Why so many xrays and exposure to radiation. I declined the service and finding new dentist office.

Fantastic experience: I just love Dr. Kacos and his lovely staff everyone is so nice and caring they make you feel so comfortable and at ease with any treatment plan. Going to the dentist was always a fear and bad experience for me, but since coming to Dr. Kacos those fears doesn’t exist anymore, I actually look forward to going now and Dr. Kacos has really help me get my oral health back on track... thank you and your staff so much!!!
