Negative experience: My son has recently had a follow up visit. Unfortunately, a doctor wouldn’t make a proper examination of all his teeth and braces which had issues after their unqualified work. She did it after my persistent request, and she said that’s why I always ask parents to come with their children. I came to conclusion that doctors here don’t pay enough attention to their minor patients! And they don’t want to refix results of their work. The staff wanted us to pay way more money for it than we had paid before, it’s a shock! I wouldn’t recommend this place to anybody!

Negative experience: This practice owes me a refund after a claim was sent to my insurance and it paid the office after I had paid in full out-of-pocket for my Invisalign retainers. I have been calling for months with no response back and I have still not received my refund. Beware

Positive experience: Medical staff were always great. But on my recent visit (5/8/25), front desk was not so approachable, like she didn’t wanna be there. I tried to be patient with her approach tho. Also, i asked her to send recent photos and scan but i didn’t receive any. Hope she’s okay tho. Overall, they’ve been great.

Negative experience: There was no change after the operation. It was almost the same as before. They said it would take ten months to a year to complete. I paid all the money at once. But they said it was done after only six months. Even the last set of braces was only worn for two days. It was not even worn for two weeks. They hurriedly said that all the treatments were over. I said the effect was not good. It needed to be moved a little further in. Even the doctor said it could be moved a little further in. But they said it would cost an additional $750. The previous money only included 15 sets of braces. But they did not say that before the operation. I feel very bad about this experience.

Fantastic experience: Had my braces done at this location, and it is the best office out of all, especially once you get to know the staff! Dr. Vays is professional and a pro in her field. Negative experience: The treatment Diamond Braces provided for me is beyond horrendous. Before my Invisalign treatment was complete, my regular dentist discovered a major problem with my second molars erupting. When asking the orthodontist, they said that it was slow and that it would eventually come out. However, only the ones in the top teeth erupted. The second molars in the bottom were actually blocked by the wisdom teeth. They did absolutely nothing!! They completely ignored the problem and did not make any adjustments to the treatment. Another problem that arose was how my top teeth did not fully come down to my bottom teeth, yet they did nothing to accommodate this problem. All they cared about was making the teeth straight and COMPLETELY IGNORED MAJOR PROBLEMS. After my Invisalign treatment was done, they gave me a clear retainer on the top teeth and a permanent retainer on the bottom teeth. I never asked for permanent retainers nor did they tell me about it until after they put the permanent retainer on. Now, my bottom second molars are really impacted by the wisdom teeth, which requires me to go through surgery to remove the two wisdom teeth. Not only is this procedure difficult, but painful and expensive. Furthermore, there was also another time when a few workers did not know how to do certain things like take pictures and scans, yet they still hired them and gave them the task to do. They literally wasted almost 2 hours trying to figure it out, when the process should take less than 20 minutes. I absolutely do not recommend Diamond Braces. All of these problems could have been avoided if I DID NOT chose Diamond Braces as my ortho provider.

Negative experience: I forgot about my appointment and received a message that I needed to reschedule, which I did. However, when I arrived, I found out that I wasn’t in the system. The front desk specialist told me that the doctor couldn’t see me today and that appointments had to be scheduled for the morning. But another front desk representative had previously told me that if I needed a small adjustment, I could see the doctor in the evening. Even if something changed, I would have liked to be informed. But nobody called me or left a message—they just canceled the appointment I had scheduled on the website. As a result, I lost my paid time, and I’m going to lose more time again because I still need to see the doctor.

Negative experience: After two years of Invisalign treatment I was told my treatment is ending without receiving my desired results. They then resorted to braces. 6 weeks with braces and they said I was done. My results were only 90% to my liking but I was over it so agreed. Fast forward today (4 months later) my teeth are shifting I have a permanent retainer AND I wear a retainer at night and my teeth are still shifting. Not to mention my daughters teeth are shifting as well (we started our treatments around the same time). WHY? This is extremely frustrating.

Fantastic experience: I had a great experience with diamond braces. Dr.Kim and his staff was amazing. It was my second time getting braces since being a teen because I didn’t wear my retainers the first time around. I had issues with my bite and didn’t think it would be fixed initially, but Dr.Kim worked with me to achieve my perfect smile. They listened to me and never turned me away if I felt something needed to be fixed. I enjoyed my experience and would encourage anyone to come here specifically at the ave U location.
