Fantastic experience: I've been coming to this dentist for about 20 years. My children have come here as well when they were little. They are now driving to the dentist, My hygienist Kate is very awesome, Dr Detweiler is awesome as well. The whole team at Norfolk dental Care is really great, They greet you as soon as you come in the door, I have never had any problems coming into Norfolk dental Care.

Fantastic experience: I've been going here for a few years. The whole staff is professional and friendly. Amanda, my dental hygienist, and Dr. Detweiler are warm and personable. I've had no dental issues since I've started going to this practice.

Positive experience: I love this staff and Dr Dowd. Everybody is wonderful. The problem that I have had several times is trying to get a call back from my voicemails that I leave. I have had to wait several days and either call and threaten to come to the office or actually come to the office to make my appointment. It is very annoying and distressing that this is the way that things run in this practice. Otherwise everyone is pleasant and helpful

The dental hygienist made sure I was comfortable every step of the way. They have alot of patience so scheduling can be a long wait, however once you are in yoi are in. Fantastic experience: Dr. Daud is a phenomenal dentist who is also understanding and patient. I have really bad TMJ and Dr.Daud happily accommodated me and didn't make me feel bad for having to take breaks His work is impeccable .His assistant, the front desk, everyone I encountered had smiles on their faces and were nice and professional.

Fantastic experience: I had a root canal last week.I was definitely nervous. Dr D and her staff made it as pleasant an experience as it could be. The amazing thing is I had absolutely no pain or discomfort after the novocain wore off. That is the result of an excellent dentist! I 100% recommend the practice!

Fantastic experience: Despite my username, I’m Haley. I was in yesterday and my dental hygienist was super sweet I loved her heart glasses and Dr. Daud was really nice. They only told me what was necessary and not a word more. I got referred to an oral surgeon after and also I recommend if you don’t have dental insurance, use and sign up for Aetna vital savings. I paid $207 for what should’ve been $400 it was great! This is my dentist forever now.

UPDATE: It is now 2025, and I continue to go here. Amanda is fantastic and the whole staff is great!

However, Monica is absolutely amazing, kind and extremely accommodating to my anxiety when it comes to dental services. All of the staff is very kind and welcoming. If you’ve been contemplating going here, don’t think about it any longer! This is definitely the place to go.

Fantastic experience: Awesome Doctor D. I had a bad experience with a Dentist. So when I have to go , my pressure goes to the roof and my nerves go everywhere. There they make sure you are calm and explain everything that need to do to make you feel better and smile pretty. Her nurse is awesome to cause she let's me know she is there and what's going to happen. Don't like needles either so they make sure that am good. Negative experience: I was not comforitable with the dental hygienist to get my teeth cleaned. She appeared to be inexperienced. She pricked me and used the suction too much and kept it in my mouth with air on my sensitive teeth. I tensed up she felt like I was tense got an attitude never finished. Would like to have seen her credentials on the wall. Love Dr. D

Positive experience: So I went here a couple years ago to get my molars checked out because it felt like I had cavities there. Sensitivity, shocking pain, weird feeling, the works. Instead of treating my main issue, they found other cavities (my four front teeth) and gave me crowns for those. While they did do a good job, and I do love my smile now, my problem with my molars still persist because they couldn’t find anything up in the back. Not to mention, it’s gotten to the point where I can see black lines on the divots of my molars. Three stars because I’m confident smiling, but no more because they completely forgot about my MAIN issue.
