Fantastic experience: Love Family Dental! Family of six. We’ve been together through baby teeth, four sets of braces and, coming up, three sets of wisdom teeth extractions (post-surgery videos to follow!) They make scheduling a breeze, are always on-time, and are always happy & professional! Would not go anywhere else!

Fantastic experience: I had four wisdom teeth and three molars extracted here. The procedure took about 30 minutes and no post op paid as of yet. Dr. Bloomquist did a great job. I recommend this location specifically. I tried going to FDH on Blackstock Rd and on Moore hwy but had issues with them canceling and rescheduling my appointments. (UPDATE) it’s been two weeks since my visit with no complications. I’m amazed that Dr. Bloomquist could remove seven of my teeth with no pain, no dry sockets or any other issues. I know results can vary from person to person but I’m impressed. I’d definitely recommend going here.

Positive experience: I love the providers here but had to switch to another office because the pricing is extremely high compared to other dental offices. Just be aware you'll be well taken care of when you come here but you need deep pockets or very good insurance.

Fantastic experience: Gentle, friendly, professional and experienced staff, top to bottom. Over 12 years I've had 2 dentists during my time with this Brushy Creek . Dr Kip moved to a specialty, Dr Carlton has taken care of me for the last 7 years. Both have given me the most thorough and detailed dental care ive ever experienced. During my time there I had damage from tooth wear which was repaired, beautifully. Now my teeth are healthy, strong and attractive. I recommend Brushy Creek to everyone, best dental office in the tri state area!!!

Negative experience: They have great customer service however .. some of the dentist do not handle with care or grace at all in my experience the guy working in my mouth was kinda dismissive . If you have any hard work that needs to be done like tooth removal I do not recommend…. But basics like cleaning or consultation absolutely again great customer service. Just horrible experience with actual procedures . However Dr Carrollton (hope I said/spelled it right ) she’s a sweetie and very honest and graceful .

Fantastic experience: We traveled to the area and were able to get in same day and saw the Dr quickly. With an anxious husband who cracked his teeth, the assistant and Dr. Ahmed really made the process easy and calmed him since we couldn’t wait to do it under anesthesia. Super nice assistant who explained the entire process even though she said “wiggle” (inside joke w asst.). Thank you!!

Fantastic experience: I was in to see Dr. Covington for a crown on a broken tooth on 05/22/05. I'm glad she was able to save the tooth. The procedure was very quick. She has put other crown's on in the past and everything went well. Her assistant made the temporary, got the replacement ordered and hopefully in ten days I will be back to normal. I recommend their team for anyone's dental needs. Dr.Covington, just finished my permanent crown. It only took a week because I chose to wait. Dr. Covington has two great dental assistance that fixed me right up. Thanks to the team for a great fix

Fantastic experience: Before today 02/28/2023, this would have gotten a much higher rating from me as my wife and I have been before. I was there at my scheduled time and after waiting 30 minutes in the lobby and 7 other people came in and went right back, I finally went up to the counter and said what's up with the wait? I was told that the employee that was scheduled to see me was running behind....but nobody told me a thing until I took action. I got an apology from someone named Stephanie and I told her that I appreciate the the apology, but, I won't be back. There is a Dentist office on just about every corner in the area I live in...... I am editing this survey as of April 22nd 2025. Previously I gave this facility a 1-star rating and I believe that was due to some kind of a mishap and scheduling or something other. I have since swallowed my pride and returned to find that this is the best dental facility I have ever been to. Their knowledge, professionalism, and super customer service is the best I have ever had. My dentist there is Dr Carlton and my hygienist is Andrea and they have shown me genuine concern for my well-being. If anyone has seen my previous post with 1 star please disregard. I will continue with this facility from now on. As you can see by my rating I have changed it to a 5 star because I don't think it could be any better. I also apologize to anyone at this facility that I may have offended with such a low previous rating.

Positive experience: My regular hygienist has been out for a month and I was not notified that my appt would be with a different person. She was great and no issues with her-just a courtesy call to let me know I would be seen by someone else.

Fantastic experience: I had two crowns replaced. Super quick and no pain. Lots of modern technology since my last crown. Dr Bloomquist and his assistant are fantastic.

Negative experience: Highly recommend finding somewhere else to get dental work done . Good reviews will lead you astray . After reviewing my options and all the cost for each one , it seemed like to start I was being shamed for choice what fit best for me . Paid out of pocket the full cost that day . Just to recieve a $235 extra bill two months later . A good dentist is hard to find , but I recommend searching elsewhere .

Fantastic experience: Dentists are very nice and really helped me as someone who's very anxious about needles. I've had a root canal and now a double wisdom tooth extraction here and it was... well... they made it the best experience it could have been. :)

Positive experience: "I had a very disappointing experience previously when I had a crown placed. On the day of the procedure, I experienced pain and discomfort, and the dentist had instructed me to come back if I encountered any issues. I followed the instructions and returned within an hour, but when I explained the situation to the staff member at the front desk, she was rude and told me no one was available to assist me. Despite mentioning that the doctor had specifically told me to return if I had pain, she said I’d have to wait until Monday. I came in multiple times to address the issue, but I eventually decided to wait until my routine cleaning appointment. I went to my cleaning appointment on Wednesday, where I saw Dr. Benfield for the first time and met April G., the hygienist. Both of them were wonderful. Dr. Benfield took the time to listen to my concerns and performed X-rays, which revealed that I had an infection—likely the cause of my pain and discomfort. He prescribed antibiotics and scheduled a root canal. I’m confused as to why my previous dentist didn’t identify the infection or recommend a root canal before placing the crown. This whole situation has been frustrating, especially given the time and money involved, and I feel like I’ve wasted money on a procedure that should have been handled differently. That said, I was very pleased with Dr. Benfield’s care. He explained my treatment options in detail and made sure I felt comfortable moving forward. I also had the pleasure of meeting April G., the hygienist who cleaned my teeth. Her approach was different from anyone else I’ve encountered at the office. She was incredibly kind and gave me so many helpful tips for maintaining my oral health. She noticed how much I’ve invested in keeping my teeth healthy, which was spot-on. She was very knowledgeable and provided practical advice I could use at home to maintain my smile. It was clear she’s truly passionate about her work, and I really appreciated the time she took to educate me. Overall, it was a fantastic experience with both Dr. Benfield and April!" --

She explained everything and we had a wonderful conversation during my visit. Fantastic experience: I have had a really good experience here. Both visits were quick and educational. I have severe dental fear and they were very kind about it which I appreciated. They allowed my partner back with me for a majority the time I was there. It helped me feel much less scared. I was getting my wisdom teeth pulled, I was able to keep 3 out of 4 of them. I was provided plenty of medication that I am currently taking. Dr. Bloomquist is a fantastic dentist. He is kind, great at what he does, has given me a good experience despite my dental fear, and has made the entire process go smoothly and quickly. My nurse for my procedure, I think her name was T Jones, I hope that is correct - I'm sorry if I'm wrong. Not only is she beautiful and a kind person, she made me feel safe and comfortable during the entire thing. I really appreciate having her there with me. She was a fantastic nurse / assistant, whatever the position is called. Everyone at this dental office that I interacted with was very kind to me. I'm going to be making it my regular place to choose for dental care.

Fantastic experience: My family and I have been very happy with Family Dental Health. Everyone is always so nice and I feel well cared for here. I have dental insurance but still had to pay over $2000 out of pocket. I’ve been allowed to make payments which is so nice.
