Fantastic experience: July 23rd, 2025. This was my 6th visit. The entire staff at Pittsford Family Dental continues to be absolutely wonderful. Genuinely warm welcome by the reception team. They even have guest Wi-Fi My hygienist, Kelley, was totally professional and a great listener, explaining everything. Her examination, cleaning, and helpful advice on home care was excellent. I give her a Gold Star Rating: 10 out of 10! Dr. Jackie, as always, was thorough in her exam and carefully explained things. I am thrilled with my dental care team at this practice.

Positive experience: Everyone is friendly. They are always efficient and fast. We haven’t ever had to wait long to be seen. However, appointments for kids are only available at inconvenient times and they are not understanding if an appointment is missed. They always charge.

Negative experience: While I was initially impressed with this practice, my opinion of them has plummeted. I was seen originally as an emergency new patient. As the findings seemed inconclusive, I was told to ‘call if the symptoms worsened’. As my pain did worsen, I called again. I was told the doctor would return my call. It’s been several days, yet I’ve heard nothing! I went to another practice which quickly diagnosed the issue and has scheduled me for the necessary surgery. I’m not sure what happened with Pittsford Dental as I have friends who are patients and recommended it to me, but I’ll never go back. To leave a patient waiting indefinitely and in pain is inexcusable to my mind.
I can not apologize enough that this happened to you. I am so sorry! It is definitely inexcusable to leave a patient in pain. I can tell you that Dr. Karly never received your message. We have a protocol for messages being sent between the front desk and the doctors that was clearly not followed, and that is unacceptable. We will be working with the team to correct this. I thank you very much for sharing. I'm glad to hear that you were able to find someone to help. If we can be of any further service to you, please do not hesitate to ask. Again, I apologize profusely.

I’ve had several visits since my last review and all have gone well. This morning they got me in quickly for a broken crown, moved my upcoming cleaning to today, and had my brand new crown in and done all by 11am.

Fantastic experience: I went for a cleaning and had great service. I didn’t wait that long in the waiting room. My hygienist was professional with a great personal touch. I trusted that she would do a good job, no pain even when scraping my teeth. And she had on some fun pet play on tv, which was relaxing while getting X-rays and cleaning done. Who doesn’t want to watch pets play while you get your teeth cleaned!
