Negative experience: No insurance covers this. Did a simple new patient's appointment—x-rays and teeth cleaning—and they charged $500. Good service if you are willing to shill out a lot of money.

Fantastic experience: I've been going to Stanley Dentistry for more than 10 years. As someone who is terrified of going to the dentist I can tell you that Stanley Dentistry is amazing! Every single person there is kind, calm and patient. While I am still anxious, my anxiety has improved greatly because of the kind and gentle care I’ve received every time. They've thought of everything even down to communication methods. They will communicate via phone, email and even text message which is greatly appreciated by someone with such anxiety over dental visits that just picking up the phone can be a challenge. They are also great with kids. Both of my kids have had great experiences with routine dental plus orthodontics. I cannot recommend them highly enough!! You won’t regret making them your dental practice!

I have been having issues with gum loss, bone loss, and bacterial issues in my mouth. Thanks to the hard work and skilled labor of Sandi I was able to stabilize the problem and turn my mouth healthy again! Now I have no issues and use the recommended water pik regularly! If you happen to have your teeth cleaned by Sandi, take it from me, you are in good hands! As long as I am in NC I plan to stay at this dental practice for life. Fantastic experience: I recently had a great experience at Doctor Stanley's dental office. I met Dr. A he is a new doctor who was extremely kind and considerate. He walked me through every step of the procedure, explaining what he was doing as he went along. For the first time in my experience with the office, I didn't feel anxious during my visit. The doctor's calm and clear approach really put me at ease. His assistant Dana was also fantastic. If you're considering visiting the office, I would definitely recommend asking for this doctor and Dana. They made my experience truly exceptional.

I am seeking their services to have a crown/abutment remade (that I’m very unhappy with), after my previous dentist told me that they wouldn’t remake my crown unless I gave them more money. Fantastic experience: My wife and I have been going to Stanley Dentistry for years. They are 5 star! I recently got a crack in my permanent retainer. Stanley Dentistry got me in right away and did a quick digital impression. I was done in about 10 minutes! They will be making a stronger retainer right at the office with their 3D Printer. It will be ready within a couple weeks. They keep up on the latest innovations to make patient care more efficient and comfortable. I highly recommend Stanley Dentistry!

I have vertigo so it was difficult to go to a dentist and lean back in the chair, but they work with me and make it a great experience. They constantly keep up to date on all the latest in dental procedures and equipment and everyone at the office couldn’t be nicer! They make going to the dentist an actual pleasure!

Fantastic experience: My husband and I have been going to Stanley Dentistry since 2017. They are terrific from reception, cleaning, every aspect of dentistry.

Negative experience: CRAZY STORY!!*** went in for a tooth extraction under sedation , had a great experience for the same procedure years ago, this time however while I was under sedation my wife was conviced I needed 2500 more worth of work for a deep cleaning that I never agreed to before the procedure... I confronted them after the surgery and they gave me a discount..cool but after my surgery I noticed an edge on an old filling protruding off the side on the tooth directly beside the one they pulled ( back molar) that was never there before. Less than 2 weeks later that filling fell completely out ...I asked them to fix it and the Dr said they will not fix it for free because ( and here are the 2 excuses I received) 1. I've been doing this 30 years I don't make mistakes 2. It's a coincidence... and the attitude I received from this doctor was the most unprofessional thing I ever dealt with in a medical office.

The atmosphere is very welcoming and the office appearance is immaculate. Jennifer my dental hygienist cleaned my teeth better than I’ve ever had my teeth cleaned. She was super friendly and very attentive to my concerns. Lauren who took my iTec images was the sweetest person ever and Dr. Bobbi is now my favorite dentist of all time.

Fantastic experience: Great work, friendly staff, but the real draw for me has always been the hygienist Jen. She is consistently friendly, and has far and away the best “touch” of anybody who has EVER worked on my mouth.

Negative experience: I'm new to the area looking for a dentist. When I saw the myriad of positive reviews, I excitedly called the office to find out if they accepted my insurance. Cyndy answered. She was very cheerful & chipper, answering several questions & engaging me. When I asked if the office accepted Cigna insurance, she said, "Yes! Many of our patients have Cigna insurance." I texted my husband, he looked on our Cigna website, & told me they're not listed. Confused, I called back & recounted that to Cyndy. She hemmed & hawed a bit and said, "Well, we submit the claim for you, but we don't have a contract with Cigna." I pushed further and said, "So, what you're NOW saying is that you're out of network?" to which she said, "Um, that's right." I then said, "So, to be clear you DO NOT accept Cigna insurance?" She paused and said, "No, but..." which I was no longer listening to. *SHE LIED* & was PURPOSELY DECEPTIVE. First impressions are hard to recover. I may have been willing to go to an out of network dentist, but I absolutely refuse to go to a place where I am directly lied to. The dentistry may in fact be good, but that type of business coercion is absolutely deplorable — In response to your 1st reply - the worst kind of faux apologies... to apologize “if you felt” there was a lack of transparency. It was a direct and purposeful lie. My question did not change. My persistence for the truth did. More than ever because of your refusal to acknowledge deceit, I stand by the statement that this is not a business to be supported. There are too many other well trained and *HONEST* dental offices in the Cary area. Super disappointing. You had the chance to make this right. Instead - you chose to support the initial deception…

Fantastic experience: My experience with Stanley Dentistry was so pleasant, from the initial encounter with Megan to schedule an appointment to the day of our consultation . I have followed Stanley Dentistry on Instagram for some time now, and I have been so impressed with patients’ results. My daughter and I went in for her consult, and the level of professionalism, compassion, and knowledge was amazing. Jordan showed us around the beautiful office then to the consult room. The doctors came in and explained what they could do and even had a screen, which projected my daughter’s current smile and edited it to give a visual of the outcome. It’s a husband and wife team, and they complement each other so well with their individual expertise on implants and cosmetic dentistry. I feel like the approach they take maximizes a patient’s best and most aesthetic outcome. We are so excited and feel confident that the doctors will do an outstanding job! On another note, new patients can fill out their paperwork online, which I loved. There are about 11 pages, so it will take a little while, but several of the pages you just need a signature. Also, The staff was very mindful of our time that day since my daughter had a class to get to right after. I could go on and on about how very impressed I was about this amazing practice, but you get the point. 100% recommend them for your cosmetic dentistry needs.

Positive experience: The staff at Stanley dentistry were very helpful and kind. the facilities were very advanced and definitely state of the art. The price did shock me, I found it to be about double of places around the same area. I agree any company is justified to charge whatever they feel their services are worth. However, I wish the cost would have been more upfront and I was aware of what I was getting myself into before getting a shocking bill. Their staff and treatment plan is very thorough, but their services cost more than I am willing to pay.

Fantastic experience: Excellent experience at Stanley Dental. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable and walk you through all costs before moving ahead with any treatments. Jennifer is a fabulous hygienist, and Brenda set me up with a much needed new night guard. They do so much in house here from standard cleanings to complex procedures, highly recommend!

There is a juice/coffee bar in the lobby and various comforting additions they offer you during the cleaning. Come see Susan!! She has been my hygienist for the last 7 years.

Fantastic experience: Wow!!! I was referred to Stanley Dentistry for a sedation consultation. The staff here is so friendly, welcoming, and helpful. They answered every question I had very knowledgeably. I am looking forward to working with this group!

Negative experience: CAUTION- THEY ARE NOT IN NETWORK WITH INSURANCE AND DON'T TELL YOU. I called to make an appointment for my son and the first question I asked was if they accepted my insurance. They said yes, my son went to his appointment for a routine cleaning and they charged my card $251. When I called to dispute, they said they accept insurance but are not in network and that's why I was charged. They never let me know they were going to charge me or how much it was going to be, just auto drafted my card. There are SO MANY OPTIONS for dental care in this area, I would strongly recommend someone else, Very disappointed

Fantastic experience: Absolutely enjoyed my time at Stanley Dental. All of the staff from the front of the house to the back of the house were amazing! Everyone was very welcome, professional, and kind. I can't believe I am actually saying this, but I can't wait to return for my procedure! They made me feel right at home and comfortable. They did not gaslight me when I said I had concerns and questions, they answered them with understanding and empathy, which is really difficult to find. I will be back!

Dr. Bobbi Stanley and Brenda are amazing and super informational. My son is getting braces and was a bit nervous but they have made him so comfortable to where now he isn't worried a bit. I recommend Stanley Dentistry for any age. They are swesome!

Upon walking into the office, my daughter and I were greeted warmly by staff, and Lola efficiently processed our paperwork and gave us a tour of the state-of-the-art facility. It is quite impressive to see the many awards and real life gallery of photos of prior patients. Exceptional work. (Love that this is a teaching institute also, from practitioners all over the globe!). Brenda brought us back for a consult and gave us a welcome gift, explaining details of today’s visit. Next, Dr. Bobbi met with us and it is clear to see why she and this office are considered to be the experts. Incredibly knowledgeable and doesn’t oversell. We then completed the appointment with a very clear understanding of what to expect and next steps. Every member of the team was caring, patient and professional. So pleased with the visit and exceptional talent at Stanley Dentistry!!

Fantastic experience: I have a lot of anxiety with dental work and I specifically chose Stanley because they offer same day crowns and nitrous. Dr. David redid my crown recently and the work was perfection. Quick, efficient, painless, and I was kept at ease the whole time.

Fantastic experience: I have been a patient here since 2007. Their care and attention to detail is like no other. I recently had a small chip on my front tooth. Dr. Bobbi fixed this to perfection!! The process was flawless, and she really took her time to make it perfect and make sure that I was pleased. I cannot recommend this practice enough! They are truly experts in their field.
