Fantastic experience: I had a dental emergency and they worked me in within a few hours from my initial call. Everyone I came in contact with at this establishment was amazing. From the front receptionist, to the sweet ladies who bought me back and got me ready for the dentist, to the lady at the very end processing payments and making the treatment plans. Their entire staff goes above and beyond to make you comfortable in a very uncomfortable and painful time.

Fantastic experience: We could not have asked for a better experience. My wife and I were both able to get in at the same time and day as new patients. We both left feeling like VIPs and are looking forward to our next visit with Acre Wood Dental!

Negative experience: Friendly staff and punctual appointment seating. However, Acre Wood Dental billing insurance failed to verify my insurance benefits before treatment, leading to many denied claims. I would show up for my next appointment and I would have to pay out of pocket. I have been to a few dental offices where my insurance is vetted and no surprise out of pocket expense.

Fantastic experience: Great customer service! I feel very comfortable with this dental operation. The care for their patients is demonstrated throughout the clinic from front desk personnel, to the echnician, and the dentist!

Fantastic experience: Friendly staff and Ashleigh made my cleaning painless. The Doctor I did not care for him. I had to wait an extremely long time for him and my concerns with an abscess were I felt thrown to another Dr with a referral.

I highly recommend him and his AWD team for any dental concerns!

She was very thorough and friendly. She provided me with a lot of helpful teaching and instruction. I will definitely continue to go there for my dental needs

Fantastic experience: Called today for an emergency appointment! Got in within 3 hours, I could not believe how quickly I was seen. Megan did x-rays, she was so kind and understanding, consulted with Dr Johnson, who in my opinion is the best! He gave me options, turned out the situation was not as bad as I thought or as pricey. I was so pleased, at the way my appointment went. Dr. Johnson is so gentle and caring! He certainly has a great staff! Everyone from receptionists, Megan to Dr. Johnson made my visit another great experience! Thank you Acre Wood Dental!!!

Positive experience: I love that you can watch TV. Also they forgot or misplaced my paper so when I brought it to their attention people coming in late were getting called back and not me they gave me a 5$ gift card as an apology. Not normal for most doc offices who just dont care. So that was awesome

Negative experience: I’ve been coming to this location since I was a kid, back when they first opened, and I never had any issues—until recently. I had a filling done by Dr. Kennedy and had to return twice due to ongoing pain. Both times, I was told that nothing appeared to be wrong, but the dismissive and somewhat callous attitude made the experience incredibly frustrating. I eventually had to push back and insist that something wasn’t right—only then was it determined that I needed an expensive root canal. Thankfully, I decided to get a second opinion—and I’m so glad I did. My new dentist found the actual issue, which did not require a root canal at all. That second opinion saved me hundreds of dollars and confirmed my concerns were valid. To make matters worse, when I called to have my X-rays sent to my new dentist, the receptionist (V) responded with an unnecessarily curt tone. I asked if she could expedite the request, and her reply was simply, “Like I said, I’ll send them,” which came across as dismissive and unhelpful. Until now, I’ve always had positive experiences here. I’ll genuinely miss the friendly atmosphere—and honestly, the cookies—but unfortunately, the recent level of service has made it hard to recommend this office anymore.

Easy to talk to and put my fears at ease. They make you feel special from the time you walk in. Very nicely decorated and comforting to not smell “like a dentist office.” They even offer warm blankets and movies to watch during procedures. Absolutely recommend!

Fantastic experience: I am such a coward when it comes to going to the dentist. My anxiety is off the charts. I actually cry at the site of the dentist chair you sit in. Acre wood dental was amazing. The lady ( I can’t remember her name but she was super nice and treated me so well) offered me a warm blanket as we walked into the room. She helped me with my online paperwork. She was VERY understanding of my fears and I absolutely loved that. I want to give her a huge SHOUTOUT for making me feel comfortable and safe. I 500% recommend ACRE WOOD DENTAL. Fantastic experience: What an awesome first impression this place made for me. From my check-in to the end of my appointment customer service was excellent. I have finally found my dental home. Their rooms are roomy. Rooms are closed in for privacy. They offer you bottled water, and a blanket. I was also given a tote bag w/ goodies and a t-shirt. Besides that, everything was explained thoroughly. I felt like I was their only customer in the building. Felt very comfortable and made me feel at ease. I highly recommend them for your dental needs. 10/10

Negative experience: I have Blue Cross Blue Shield FEP dental the high option dental insurance from one I'm told it really good insurance but every time I take my daughter to this office, they put her with the out of network provider when they have a in network provider they have been told which Dr is in network in which ones out of network. My insurance has called up there and spoke with their insurance person to explain that it needs to be in network for it to be covered. I just called up there to get an explanation of what's going on. I'm told the person I expect you is not there today. I'm told that the manager cannot call me back. So how am I supposed to rectify this situation if I can't get nobody to work with me and they hang up on me.

Fantastic experience: I had a very positive experience. The staff was very polite. One member even remembered me as a longtime patient! Everyone I encountered made me feel welcome, which allowed me to remain relaxed throughout my appointment.
