Fantastic experience: I highly recommend the Dental Group of Amarillo. I was amazed at the state of the art high tech imaging machines they have. The staff couldn't be any nicer and the dentist explained in detail what is going on with my teeth. The dental hygienist is very sweet and thorough and also explained what is going on with my teeth. She couldn't have been any nicer. The staff is very knowledgeable and I thoroughly enjoyed going there as they put me on the path to getting my teeth fixed. I came from Rockport, TX. The level of care and expertise is far superior from where I went prior. I'm blessed to be a dental patient here!

Fantastic experience: I’ve lived in Amarillo most of my life and out of every dentist office I’ve been too this has by far been the friendliest and most caring staff I have encountered. I get really bad anxiety before any dentist visit and not only did they let me have a relaxing, calming experience but they listened throughly to any cares / concerns I had. The front desk receptionist has always been so sweet and has always updated me on any new information I need to know about any appointments or payments. I overall really love this office and highly recommend anyone who has any scares or anxieties to come to this office. They make sure to get you your proper treatment as well as enjoy your experience. I am always in and out and it’s just a really easy process to deal with :-) My dental hygienist also gave me the best cleaning I have ever had. I had some staining that even having previous cleanings wasn’t removed but my girl did her job well and had my teeth white and pearly! I walked out with very happy and confident. Fantastic experience: I'm a new patient here having relocated to Amarillo recently. They found an open slot for me on a day that I did not have an appointment. Upon arrival I found a clean and modern medical facility with friendly staff. Had X rays, Cleaning and exam. Had a couple of teeth that needed work. They presented me with a treatment plan explaining what would be done and how much it would cost and set up an appointment schedule. I informed them that I have a Care Credit account and they were able to look it up though I didn't have the card with me. So far, I think I selected a good dental office.

Fantastic experience: Very clean, kind staff, didn't hurt! Lots of flavors of cleaning paste to choose from- I got bubblegum and enjoyed it. Highly recommend this dentist office!

Negative experience: Amarillo Dental Group has Changed for the worse! I used to love going there, however the staff is not friendly anymore and Dr Dillard has a bad attitude. I called yesterday to get an appointment for broken dentures and to see how long it would take to get a new set since this one is not fixable. She said she had an appointment at 8 am and that they could get the new ones by the end of the day. I get there and am taken back to a room by a staff member who had no idea why I was there. When I told here why I was there and asked to confirm the same day turn around, she said “oh no, our dentures take 7 business days” then she added that doesn’t include weekends making the wait 9 days. Well, the 7 business days isn’t their fault, however due to the misinformation I was back at square one trying to get something done quicker since I refuse to be that person who goes out and about without dentures and in the mean time I’m missing work. I left there and frantically called all over and found that most dentist offices advised 7 days, however I did find one that offered one to 3 days. I was able to get an appointment later this morning. I do have to wait the 3 day due to issues with bone and gum shrinkage, but at least I’ll be back in business in 3 days instead of 9.
