Negative experience: They were great dentists and all, nice, friendly, etc. But they definitely make you pay for the same thing multiple times. They're scamming you. Good dentists tho if you don't mind them taking all your money

Fantastic experience: I had a tooth removed today. The whole appointment was probably about 45 minutes even with sitting in the waiting room. they went over all my options. They gave me more options than any other dentist I had went to in the past. When I told them exactly what I wanted to do they didn't push for anything else. They also asked me if I was comfortable throughout the entire procedure. The staff was very friendly and very understanding. If I looked uncomfortable at any point they immediately stopped and asked if I was alright. I will be back in the near future for other dental work as well.

Fantastic experience: I want to give a big shout out to the staff. From booking an appointment to getting the work done, they were awesome. I hadn't been to the dentist in about 20 years and noticed I had a cavity, so they got me in the next day! They checked me out, did the cavity filling and cleaned my teeth all in the same appointment! I was really nervous because of past dental appointments, but the staff here made me feel at ease. I would give 10 stars if possible!!

Fantastic experience: If I could give this Dental office 100 stars I would. Originally I was going to go with another dental office for a growth removal on my tongue. I did go to the another place for the first visit. They did an x-ray and scheduled another appointment for the surgical removal. The doctor I was seen was so dark to me, in a negative sense. He didn't give me any hope or confidence everything was so negative. It was also the fact that he didn't have good reviews to begin with that made me look for another Dental office. I've done my research for a week and I found Van Buren Dental. I called and the guy at the front desk said I need an appointment even though on the website you don't need an appointment. I decided that I couldn't wait because of my anxiety and one Monday morning I just walked in Van Buren Dental office hoping they would take me in. And they did. Everybody was so nice. It was like a bright place very busy but very comforting. When I went to the back the dental hygienist immediately took me into a room and looked on my mouth and her first words were we see it all the time, like as if it's nothing to worry about. It's like as if she wanted to say there's nothing to worry about but she couldn't. Shortly after waiting for my mouth to get numb I went into another room to see the surgical dentist and he was the coolest doctor I've ever known. Forget the fact that he's so handsome, he was so nice and comforting. As soon as he looked in my mouth he was like, yeah you have nothing to worry about. He heard my story of how I came about and how my anxiety came about and of course I let Google get the worst of me and I thought the worst. Doctor was so comforting It was so emotional to me and it helped me a lot mentally. He removed it within seconds and honestly if you look on my tongue you would never know it was there. There is no evidence that I had irritational fibroma on my tongue. It was painless and completely neat, the way he removed it. It took a while to wait for the biopsy results. Of course I wanted to be 100% sure it is not what I thought it was. I kept calling and calling for like the first 10 days and eventually I stopped calling because they told me they'll call me. They did call me at the 2-week mark and said that the results are not in yet but they talked to the doctor for me because of how anxious I am and the doctor said I have nothing to worry about. I am the least patient he will worry about and he had seeing so many of these before. That was almost as if I got the results but didn't really get them. And then almost 4 weeks later this past Friday I get a phone call from the office with the results. A lady by the name of Ashton called me and gave me the good news. I was so relieved. They literally thought about me as soon as it came she said that her supervisor told her to stop whatever she was doing and basically call me because they knew what my anxiety was doing to me. I thank you guys so much . You are in fact the best dental office in town and the best dental office I've known. I will come back for future work and cleaning even if I have to pay out of pocket. Thank you so much Van Buren Dental. ❤️

Fantastic experience: I switched from my local dentist roughly a year ago due to that office being restaffed by a very inexperianced Dentist that I feel bungled a tooth restoration, that was after enduring a six month bone graph from my oral surgeon. Additionally the staff was at worst rude and at best incompetent. Van Buren Dental is the exactact opposite experiance. It is well run, organized and I have faith in my new Dentist (Dr. Shepler) and the staff. My previous Dentist was six minutes from home and Van Buren Dental is thirty five minutes from my home but the trip is well worth it.

Fantastic experience: I have been absolutely terrified of the dentist for over 15 years. I went to a dentist years ago and they hurt me really bad and I braved it and went to Vancouver. Van Buren Dental and I had an excellent excellent experience. I would highly recommend it to anyone I seen Dr. Shepler I seen the x-ray technician and one of their hygienist and I was very very impressed. I’m going back on Tuesday For some more dental work and I’m still a little nervous but excited at the same time, but I am not terrified like I was before I went today I would highly highly This dental practice I would give them a 10 out of 10

Fantastic experience: I want to share about the amazing experience I had on Friday with Van Buren Dentist. They are an amazing team from front desk to hygienist to my dentist. They even have a person who deals with insurances as well. I went in for a consultation about root canal and ended up with a temporary crown on a cracked tooth my previous dentist didn’t even notice. If you are looking for a positive experience with a dental group, these people are highly recommended.

Fantastic experience: The entire staff was professional and friendly. They got me in the same day I called them for a tooth extraction that was causing me extreme pain. I wasn’t even one of their patients, but I am now! I highly recommend them!

Fantastic experience: Absolutely fantastic experience from start to finish. Dave is the one who truly got the ball rolling, he made signing up super easy and was just genuinely kind and enthusiastic. That first interaction really gave me a great impression, and for me, first impressions are everything. He definitely set the bar high. Then I met Dr. Shepler and his assistant (I forgot to get her name, but she was amazing too). They walked me through my x-rays and actually took the time to help me understand what was going on with my teeth. Sounds simple, but honestly no one’s ever done that before. Usually it’s just “everything looks good,” but this time it was “everything looks good/could be better because…” and they broke it down for me. I left feeling really informed and taken care of. When I checked out, Holly was also super sweet and helpful. She gave me some great tips and advice for future appointments and was just really easy to talk to. I’m definitely coming back and recommending Van Buren Dental to everyone I know!

Fantastic experience: I have severe anxiety about dentist. I first went to see them in November of last year on an emergency situation and although I was in the worst mental space going they made me feel safe and comfortable. My PTSD is still at an all time high going in that office BUT I know I’m in good hands from the check in staff to the Dr. I’ve sent multiple coworkers and my kids school teachers and they all love them so I know I’m in good hands. If you have past traumas from a dentist this is a great office to go to they are sweet, caring and understanding.

Fantastic experience: Just want to say that I appreciate the care I get at Van Buren Dental. My family doctor referred me and I found them professional from check in to check out. Dr. Shepler and his staff have been gentle and patient. The office staff is also helpful regarding insurance and charges. Don't hesitate to get an appointment there! Also Dr Shepler works hard to please his patients and I won't go anywhere else.

Fantastic experience: I highly recommend this Dental Office. I had a toothache I called and got in immediately to see Dr. Meghan Molina. She is awesome. Very professional nice and caring. She made sure I did not feel any pain. She removed my tooth. I have to give a shout out to her assistant Pam. She was kind and caring. She was very busy helping other patients. I do not know if they had new assistants and she had to help them but I seriously do not know what they would do without Pam. She was very attentive and good at her job. I was referred to this office by my cousin and I am so glad I took her advice. Every staff member was excellent & friendly especially Dave he took my call was very professional and got me right in. He welcomed me when I arrived and introduced his self that he was the one who I spoke to one the phone. Super nice guy. This office is well organized, very clean. Very impressive. Make your appointment to see either Dentist they have there You will be glad you did.

Fantastic experience: I had a great experience with this dental office, I was having issues with my bottom wisdom tooth and holly got me in as soon as possible so the dentist could take a look at it and they gave me numbers for different surgeons to call to schedule an appointment for the procedure, and within the next couple of days I got it pulled. Negative experience: Update: NOTHING BUT SCHEDULING ISSUES!! everything went well until we actually had to go in for our 1st cleanings with them. They rescheduled my husband without calling to tell him or ask him if it was okay. After letting them know they apologized and said they do contact patients when they need change their appointments. All went well for the 1st appointment and scheduling 6 months out went fine. Fast forward to a week before our appointment and they say my husband needs to be rescheduled. I call to get us rescheduled because he is my ride. They then inform me they can't get us in until December! Clearly upset that our 6 month cleanings have now turned into a 12 month cleanings she informs me they are the only place that takes our insurance, but if I wanted to call around I could. Still upset and telling her to scheduled us for Dec she hung up on me! Old post that was 5 star: I was nervous going to a new dentist but from the first phone call I was set at ease. Holly helped get everything set up for my husband and I and explain/ answered all my questions. After my first appointment I am more at ease. Check in and check out with Heather was pleasant and made me feel welcome. The ladies helping me get prepped and completing the procedure were great. I was so nervous but they made me feel comfortable and kept checking in on me. They answered all my questions and answered some questions before I even asked. The dentist was just as pleasant and funny, kept me distracted so I didn't get nervous or focus on what what was going on. I'm glad to have found this place.

Negative experience: Started out pleased with the service, now I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. They left my teeth and bottom gums in worse shape than I started with. It's horrible! The only reason I'm giving them 1 star is because its the only way to post my review.

Positive experience: I came here for several years and always saw Dr. Hoza, who was professional, consistent, and easy to trust. Since she moved on, though, I haven’t seen the same dentist twice after many visits. Even after specifically requesting to stick with one provider, it just didn’t happen. I’m grateful for the care I received early on, but I’m now looking for a new dental office where I can build that kind of consistent relationship again.

Fantastic experience: Let me start with this. When I was 18 my dentist told me I'd have dentures by 25. That made me have a major aversion to dentists. Now, at 37 yes I have them now and I'm grateful for them and the doctor that has made it much less terrible than it could of been. The staff here is friendly and knowledgeable. They go out of their way in all aspects. Thank you Dr. Shepler and all the staff that I know and don't know.

Fantastic experience: I've been scared of dentists my entire life. However, everyone at Van Buren Dental is incredibly nice. The dentists and assistants made me comfortable and made sure my procedure was 100% pain free!!! I love the entire staff and dentists there. I will never use another dentist. I highly recommend them. I have nothing but praise for them. They were so kind. So gentle. I felt completely at ease.

Fantastic experience: Our family just started going to Van Buren Dental and we love it! 3 of us have had exams and cleanings so far, and we love the upbeat atmosphere and the transparency of our dental care. We have recommended them to our extended family and friends and will be patients for life!

Fantastic experience: I went in to have a broken and infected wisdom tooth extracted. Upon entering, I was met with Dave who was very kind with great hospitality and people skills, even making me laugh along with the other woman at the checkout before leaving. Pam did a wonderful job making me feel comfortable and getting me all set up for the procedure. I wish I could remember the woman's name that came in to numb me. I let her know I hadn't been to the dentist in nearly 2 decades and that I was terrified. Her attitude was very comforting, and she did a great job talking me through it with minimum pain involved. Dr. Molina was very friendly, informative, and did amazing work! She had the tooth out in 2-3 minutes, with minimum discomfort and no issues. I would absolutely recommend this practice to anyone anxious about having dental work done. I plan on returning here for my future dental care.

Fantastic experience: Saved my life with antibiotic I lost hope and was getting really sick but I have a huge improvement now and have hope for the first time in a 1 ½ yrs of suffering thanks so much van Buren Dental Dr Sheplar is amazing for changing lives ❤️ I left without hope and crying then figured if I just get this antibiotic see what happens boom life changing I'm so greatful $5.46 cents changed everything

I was missing a front tooth they had my temp put in today and got my teeth ready for a bridge. I would 1,000 percent recommend them for any dental work you need done. Destiney did amazing work on him and made him feel at ease through the whole process. She made sure there were no bumps or any bothers on the temporary bridge before we left. Dr. Jamie was also very nice to us the whole time and we didn’t feel rushed at all! As someone who has dental anxiety, I would 100% recommend them! ❤️

Fantastic experience: From the moment I walked in this office, I loved it! Dave at the front desk is so sweet and helpful. Pam is wonderful. Dr. Meghan is wonderful! In the past, I've never had a filling or crown that didn't hurt. I did NOT feel a thing when Dr Meghan and Pam drilled. I got 1 filling and 2 crowns, and didn't feel a thing! They explained everything they were doing before they did it. They were so sweet and down to earth! I don't remember the young lady's name that checked me out, but she was lovely too. They will go above and beyond for you as they did for me today speaking with with my insurance insurance making sure my x-rays were covered and so forth. Love my heart hygienist! Shelby was a complete rock star numbing me while Bianca expertly set Dr. Shepler up for a much needed tooth extraction . I have never had such an easy experience with a dentist. Dr. Shepler has a magic touch and I left with no pain! Would highly recommend this Dental Practice.

Staff is amazing and had a great energy and attitude. Everyone was kind, and the service was top notch.
