Fantastic experience: this was my first visit and i have a fear of dentists due to a really bad experience from several years ago, but the whole team really welcomed me! the office is very clean and has great guest amenities, and everyone is very friendly and more than happy to answer any questions you have. I was given a treatment plan with numbers to figure out the best way to tackle it as well! all in all, I was so happy with this visit and am proud to be a new patient

We've moved around a lot previously and have been to many different dentist offices, and this one is above and beyond the best. From scheduling new patient appointments to the check in, exam, and check out every staff member was professional, kind, and welcoming. Almost disappointed we only have to come every 6 months! Could not recommend any higher.

Fantastic experience: “Going to the dentist makes me happy!” I actually said this to my sister the other day after visiting Chen Dental. It seriously was like a spa experience. I was greeted warmly and given a gift. Rachel made me feel welcome the moment I walked in as did Monica. Everyone was so willing to help. It was beautiful inside and I really loved the worship music played throughout the practice. It sets your heart immediately at peace. The waiting room had a coffee/tea/snack area bar which was a sweet touch. I did not have to wait long. I love that they make crowns in office. I waited over a month for my current crown and my gum area at that tooth hasn’t been the same since. I wish I had come here. The staff was courteous, professional and knowledgeable. I did not feel rushed. I very much liked their comfort menu which offered a blanket, ear plugs or lip balm. We were asked our priorities (cosmetic vs longevity, etc). We were asked if we wanted a straight forward approach vs a detailed one. It’s the details that truly set a practice apart from others and Chen Dental excelled in the details. I was asked if I wanted room temperature or cold water. The glasses worn were sleek and not heavy or bulky. They had an air purifier in the room!!! When showing X-rays, they closed the blinds. Jazalynn and Gina took such time with me. I appreciated the teaching. Dr Sharon Hodge had such a gentle sweet demeanor and seemed very knowledgeable on what was going on in my mouth. She was not pushy or overwhelming. I’ve struggled with bleeding gums for years and within a few days using their electric toothbrush and brushing techniques my gums no longer bleed, not even once. My cleaning by Gina was gentle and thorough. Thank you Angelina for making the finance/insurance part seamless and for showing me all the toothbrush colors. You were a joy. I’ve rarely experienced customer service to this extent. A couple times I had dental emergencies and they always got me an appointment very quickly and showed such compassion. Even at times when I was hesitant because of wanting to stay within my insurance plan, they offered to follow up a few days later in case my prior dentist hadn’t called back. Lastly Chen Dental has supported the Champion for Children Foundation for many years with a golf tournament fundraiser which my father Kevin Roberts founded. They have selflessly raised so much money for those in great need. Thank you for your extreme generosity over the years. Thank you for being exceptional and for caring about quality, excellence, and the details! You have a customer for life!

Positive experience: My appointment was for 1pm. I waited in the waiting room for 30 minutes before being seen. I could tell it was going to cost me an arm and leg by all the amenities they had. Very luxurious fancy dancy stuff. Probably the nicest waiting room I've ever been in. I came in because I needed attention immediately due to an infection in my teeth that had me wishing I was dead. No one even cared enough to try to comfort me or ask if I needed anything. Then I was given a tour of the facility to try to impress me as to how great this state of the art facility is. All the while I was in pain and just wanted some relief. Finally I was seen and $2700 estimate for a crown and two root canals later, I was on my way to try to get some antibiotics. Have a nice day. Negative experience: Dr Ward came in, stuck his fingers in my mouth, said she’s good to the hygienist and left. Didn’t say hi to me or anything. I think I’m gonna look for an office that has dentists that aren’t too busy to at least say hi. Other than that, my time at this office was good. Very nice staff, and clean and modern facilities. I do like how they print out the treatment plan with the pricing so you can plan accordingly.

Fantastic experience: Top notch Dental Care. My Family and I were long time patients of Dr. Horton but after he retired we had a hard time finding good care. We tried 4 other places before going to Chin Dental, all were sub par for different reasons. Aspen Dental staff didn’t practice good hand hygiene before Coast Denyal on the Mall messed up my tooth and I had to go to a specialist just to get it out. At Family Dentistry of Sebring the Dentist was good but the hygienist was extremely lazy and didn’t do a good job at all. Lastly Dental Care of Mid Florida seemed to have trouble keeping their Hygienist as we never got the same one twice. Hit and miss on quality of care. At Chin we have received excellent care every time we went. Can’t recommend them enough

Fantastic experience: The dentist has always been my least favorite place to be, BUT Chen Dental is amazing. The setting is so serene and the staff is great - from check-in to check-out. My team was Nicole and Dr. Huffman and I would recommend them to everyone!! Dr. Huffman was so thorough, understanding, caring, and gentle. Nicole was amazing too… always asking if I need anything (drink, chapstick, etc) and explaining everything that was going to happen, gave post-op instructions and answered all my questions. I’d give 100 Stars if I could. Thank you everyone… for everything!

Negative experience: BEWARE OF THIS PLACE. You will receive a huge bill months later!!!! Read the 1 star reviews! I visited here back in December. I was very strong on not having anything done that was not covered by insurance . I even had them confirm. After about 4 months they send me a bill of nearly $500. When I asked what happened here I had even paid out of pocket the day of, I never got an answer. I asked to cancel my appointment for the future and they responded it’s canceled now but did not respond as to why there’s is a huge bill! This place will bleed you of money. Do not be fooled by the little gift bag they give you. It’s all a scam to leach money. Sad you want to go and fix your teeth & have to have such a financial burden from unfair practices & I see I’m not the first!!!!!

Negative experience: Every dentist that i have liked, when I return they are no longer an employee. Today I got a dentist that I didn't know because I wasn't made aware of that my latest dentist had left. Between the dentist and the assistant I will no longer be coming back. I had to have a front tooth get a filling because it was getting thin, no cavity. The assistant sprayed water straight up my nose and than had it running out the sides of my mouth, so each side of my neck had water running down it. The dentist finished had me look and he had made the tooth so much longer than the other front tooth and thought it was good until I said um I think it's to long compared to the other can you shorten it down. If I didnt say anything he would have left it that way. I felt like I was at a dental school. This office is suppose to be superior and the latest technology. No thank you, not anymore. They have really lost something. I see that you have responded back. I dont know if calling you would do any good as when I was in the office I expressed these issues to the front desk at checkout and the girl didn't even seem to care.

Negative experience: Don’t go there. I was out of network and they didn’t tell me until I got a bill. There’s a reason I gave my info a month before coming in for appt. And that was to make sure I was in network!

Fantastic experience: I took my daughter to Chen Dental for an exam and extraction. She was welcomed with a gift bag at the time of check in which made her feel special. She enjoyed interacting with all the nice/friendly staff and was happy with her experience. After her extraction she was shocked that her tooth was already removed and she didn’t even feel a thing. Greeted by a friendly receptionist. He answered all my questions and gave me tour of office. He also offered me a choice of many amenities to make comfortable. Nellie, My Dental Assistant was very pleasant and took my medical history and xrays. The Hygienist, Arela was efficient, and friendly. Dr. Ward, also was nice, kind and knowledgeable. Positive experience: The service and staff is very nice, place is clean and very professional. They have a great waiting area. What I didn't like was the fact that they didn't communicate with me relates to a bill and it was way too much for out of pocket. Also, they don't have an option on their website for you to be able to pay a bill online, like others, and in my opinion, if they have such a state-of-the-art building, don't have an automated system to be able to pay.

Fantastic experience: ‼️‼️5 STAR REVIEW ‼️‼️ Wow! Words cannot express what I feel about this dentist! I wanted to get established somewhere in lake placid since we moved. Honestly, I went somewhere but it didn’t feel like home Then, I did some work and it still gave me trouble after the filling was done. Something told me to try somewhere else. I’ve always seen the billboards and mailing cards and everyone I asked gave me good reviews about Chen Dental so I decided to give it a try even though it’s an hour away from us. My kids got their appointments first. They took all 3 together right at our appointment time 8:00am. Let me tell you when we walked in, I thought I was checking into a nice, fancy hotel. They greet you, offer you snacks and beverages, a massage chair, warming blankets, AND A GIFT wrapped and all! After walking us back to the (I believe they said) 15 suite office, our kids were out in different rooms. We were quickly put to ease as they let my husband and I walk back and forth to check on the 3 children. The dental assistants: lulu, Maria, and Gina were AMAZING! They explained everything to the adults and to the kids as kid friendly as possible and showing the images and how their baby teeth were being pushed out from their adult teeth. My kids got to pick flavored cleaning paste (they had over 5 cool animal named flavors -hippo cake, gator gum, etc). They answered my kids questions and made them WANT to return to the dentist! As a mother of 4, I can’t thank Chen Dental enough for the care and quality of service offered to us; especially for caring for my 3 young children (ages 5, 8, and 10). Not to mention we were out in 1 HOUR! I will be telling everyone I know about Chen Dental and reviewing everywhere I can! Fantastic experience: My daughter needed an immediate appointment very late in the afternoon and they were able to accommodate us. I can't put into words how much that alone means to me. The staff were helpful, professional, and went above and beyond to make my daughter feel welcome and comfortable. We were in and out swiftly, which I appreciated. The office is beautiful and relaxing; I'm a bit disappointed that we already have primary dentist relationships elsewhere.

Fantastic experience: Dr Hodge was gentle in extracting my tooth. Office staff very friendly and helpful. My tooth was broken at the him line making it a difficult to remove. It took longer than expected but she preserved the gum and bone. I appreciate all she was able to do for me.

Fantastic experience: My dental cleaning today was very pleasant! The hygienist sanitized sun glasses for me, and helped me be comfortable. The cleaning was thorough and my teeth felt super clean and smooth by the final rinse. I find the staff are professional and courteous. In the lobby there are fun snacks and water is available in the fridge. Overall a very comfortable and welcoming experience! I would recommend this office.

Fantastic experience: The team at Chen Dental are 5 star worthy! In a county where pediatric dentists weren’t accepting new patients, they were able to get us in next day! Very friendly and patient with my 7 year old. Highly recommend them and will be making an appt for myself there too!

Fantastic experience: Last name is Hawkins. This was my second visit. I'm very please with the mannerism of the staff and my new Dentist.(sorry don't remember her name). I had to have additional work instead of your normal 6 month checkup. That did it the same day so I didn't have to return yet again. Remarkable place. I just wished my I insurance would cover more than it did. Great place great staff.

Fantastic experience: Excellent customer service, kind, courteous and caring! The office staff, dentist, Dr. Huffman, hygienist Ariana, and dental assistant were superb! From checking in to checking out the staff makes you feel welcomed and at home. My whole family goes to Chendental! And they love the dentists and staff! They go above and beyond! My mom had tooth pain and they helped her by pulling two teeth. My aunt was visiting from out of state and they relined her dentures within days that didn’t fit! Now she can eat anything! She is so happy! Keep up the amazing work!!! This office is always A+
