Fantastic experience: This experience was very efficient, personal and professional. The initial waiting time was less than 15 minutes. Everyone was knowledgeable and they took the time to explain the procedures to me. I am thankful for the thoroughness of this experience.

Fantastic experience: Another great experience at PROVIDENCE DENTAL. I called in today due to a toothache and I need to have the tooth extracted. Less than five minutes had an appointment for today. I went in and got the same great service that I did the first time I was there.

Fantastic experience: The Doctors and Staff are awesome. They make you feel like you're at home. They also make you feel comfortable. Sometimes, I'm offered a blanket and headphones to listen to your favorite music while treatment is being provided to me. The Doctors and Staff are respectful, pleasant, polite, cooperative, friendly, supportive, attentive to my needs, caring, sincere, and genuine to name some characteristics. Ms. Sam is my Dental Hygienist, and she is all of the above stated characteristics and much more. She's easy to talk to. Ms. Sam explains what she is about to do prior to any kind of treatment provided. Towards the end of my session, Ms. Sam also gave me a Treatment Plan explaining services rendered and for upcoming procedures. It details the procedures, the procedure codes, and the cost of actual services as well as the Dental Insurance coverages, and your out of pocket cost.

Fantastic experience: Angel is an excellent Dentist Hygienist. She takes her time , and give recommendations ensure your teeth stay healthy.

Fantastic experience: By far the best place to have your teeth cleaned. Easy going and they make sure you are comfortable. A few perks to go with having your teeth cleaned - music, dark glasses too block the light, warm or cold towel rest to wear around your neck. Highly recommend them, you want be disappointed.

Fantastic experience: My name is Russell Williams my Dentist visit today with Dr. Tharpe at Providence Dental spa could not have been better Dr. Tharpe and his crew Debbie my hygienist they were excellent. They’ve been over backwards to help me. Dr. Tharpe went above and beyond the call of duty to make sure I was happy when I left there. I want to thank you all!

Negative experience: Shocked by how bad this is. I found this office and was impressed by the building, the staff, and the dentist. I have visited multiple times/procedures. Last year, I had to have a crown placed on a front tooth and went with the astronomical interest rate through their partnership with Cherry. I went to my appointments and was grateful for their gentle care, however, they contacted me to confirm an appt the day before and when I arrived, my crown wasn’t there, they apologized, no big deal. The next time, the crown was so ill-fitting that I bled and it couldn’t be used. It would have been helpful if the staff member paid attention to the task instead of talking about her romantic relationship but still, whatever (fine to chat but this was overkill). It takes me at least 30 min to get to the office which is my choice but then there’s a 3rd trip which resulted in a crown which visibly doesn’t fit the tooth and was trotted off with yet another treatment plan for the next crown or whatever it is that came next. I had an appt yesterday which was confirmed by the office as a crown appt. I asked for info at the time but it was supposed to be discussed at the appt. It wasn’t. In fact, my previous dentist moved and a new dentist (seems great) plus the sweet Ms. Victoria were my providers - to place a crown on the tooth which was already treated. So much confusion, I asked them to check my records, the last I heard of this was hmmmm….that’s weird because it’s not showing in your records….let me see… How is that possible? It took multiple appts to deal with and was a financial hit. The dentist examined me and when she tapped on the actual tooth I assumed was due for the crown, it activated an extra level of pain which is what is keeping me up at 3am. The only thing I was offered is to have a cleaning appt. I asked how much the X-rays they took would cost and what costs were associated with this waste-of-time visit and was given zero information. I contacted them today to cancel/reschedule my cleaning appt - still haven’t received communication or info about what I am going to be forced to pay and also for copies of my records so that I could review. The WORST was the person I was speaking to responded to this by asking me if I wanted to “deactivate” my account?!?!? Asking to reschedule an appt (I said I would have to call back when my schedule is set) and for copies of my records equated with having my entire account deactivated for this person. I declined to have my acct deactivated (ridiculous) and requested my records, provided my email address and was told that my X-rays would be sent…to confirm, I said I also want all of records, not just X-rays. Check this out: “the only records we have are X-rays”. WHERE AM I? Since that is a mystifying response from a medical practice in 2025, i again requested my full records, I was told “I’m sending all” and what did I receive? Random X-ray images and an invoice which is totally incorrect and does not reflect the credit remaining from my last procedure….i also notice random charges added after I already confirmed months ago that I have a credit and owed nothing. Also, not paying 1 penny for wasting my time and money. Not going to be fooled by the pretty building. Something is very wrong here. I even brought my elderly mom as a new patient and now I cannot trust them with her care.

I arrived for my 8am at approximately 8:03 and was treated at 8:05am. The dental hygienist kept me updated throughout my whole appointment. Positive experience: I'm still trying to figure it out (being that I worked at Small Smiles as a dental assistant). Only cavities are the ones I already knew about. Noting new, no sealants or anything else needed. Dentist looked into my mouth 2 seconds and he was done. He didn't even do a thorough exam. He just looked at the xray and made a decision. Nice staff though.

Fantastic experience: After having a terrible experience at another dental office I am so thankful for Providence Dental! I was scared to go to the dentist and put it off. The staff are so good about explaining every step to me, answering questions, and not causing discomfort. I have had a great experience with the billing staff as well- my former dentist was charging for all kinds of odd things. I was pleased to find that at Providence my insurance magically started covering everything. I am currently between insurance and Providence staff was happy to explain self pay costs to me for future visits. When I began going to Providence they were able to pinpoint the cause of issues I was having that my previous provider missed. It's also nice to have a variety of ways to provide comfort during appointments. Today I choose a warm neck wrap to stay calm and comfortable during my cleaning.

Fantastic experience: My 6 month check up went well. I like the hygienist. The dentist, Dr. Shaw turned down My request to have the minor chip on my front tooth fixed, and I am not happy about that. She only offered to have the teeth capped and that’s too drastic for a minor chip. I believe another dentist will fix it for me.

Today, I went to providence Dentsl Spa, and felt so relaxed and confident in their care- I was not afraid, did not cry, and actually was so relaxed! The assistant was so sweet, as was everyone- from the receptionist to the dentist: Dr Dakota Tharpe. Dr Tharpe is kind, attentive, professional and very personable. He was truly interested in my concerns and checked on me several times during my visit, and was involved in my care and treatment plan. They will let you have both if you prefer them. I went in for an evaluation today, the dentist took care of my dental issue today instead of having me come back another day making me wait. I like that about them. I enjoy being a patient and can have other services done if I choose to do so. I highly recommend them to anyone who needs dental services. They are the best, very efficient and give professional Dental services!!
