Fantastic experience: I've had bad experiences in the past with dentists and I have always been afraid to go to one. NOT the case at Parker Nickolas Read Dental. Dr. Brent Parker always treats me like FAMILY, he's extremely knowledgeable, he always does a great job and I highly recommend him because he's that amazing!!! A+++

Negative experience: The staff here is so rude the Manager in particular is so unprofessional they need to do something about their staff i was so disappointed with my visit here and will not be returning!!!

Fantastic experience: Great doctors here. Every one of them. Dr. Nickolas is conservative in his approach, which I really appreciate. The dental assistant Michelle is so thorough and kind, and does her job so well. She also explains things well and alleviates any anxiety.

Negative experience: Good dentists - although they want to have you pay for services - crowns, tooth guards when you don't really need them. But the worst is their billing practices. They don't bill you for what insurance doesn't cover if it is under $100. So if you have FSA you are paying double because by the time you find out that you have charges on your account, your funds have expired. So you end up paying double. Also, they overcharge for their services and then don't provide you an itemized bill for those services. I've had them rip me off for over $400 because they kept the overage. I even had a prior auth saying what the insurance would pay and still they overcharged me. I even had the EOB!! Then they explained they were charging me for office visits in 2024 they never billed me for. Nor did they tell me they were doing that when they inflated the costs of my crowns. They NEVER provided a bill or an itemized statement and according to my math, they charged me for 4 office visits instead of 2. They are the epitome of deceptive billing practices in healthcare. So really I guess it's great they know how to be dentists, but they also have figured out a way to be crooks with big beautiful smiles all the way to the bank. What they do to their patients is self serving and absolutely awful. Healthcareless in the US! All I can say is that you probably don't know you have charges on your account and you better check your EOB if you paid for anything because you probably overpaid.

Fantastic experience: This review is long overdue. I have been visiting Parker Nickolas Read Dental since 2015. This is the only dentist office that I visit. Due to an extremely bad experience at another dentist office, I haven't gone to the dentist in years before finding this office. First, I want to thank Dr. Schleicher, the founder of the company. Thank you for the many years of dental services that you provide in the community and beyond. Thank you for the partnership with Dentex to save your patients on affordable dental services. As you continue to innovate with new technology and expand your dental services to further help your patients with dental and sleep services. I'm just very thankful for Parker Nicholas Read Dental. I want to give a special thanks to someone who has been there for many years. Tana Green, the phone operator / administrative. She is amazing! She's always so pleasant, and she's so sincere. Tana never changes, she's extremely knowledgeable of her job, and she tries to make sure the patients have a great experience. She always go above and beyond. I'm forever thankful to have met her. Dr. Nickolas is amazing, wonderful, awesome, fantastic, all the great things. He is truly heaven sent. Dr. Nickolas really cares about his patients. He's extremely gentle, especially if he knows your fear of needles and pain. He has a gift to make his patients feel more at ease. If you ever get any dental work done, you will understand. I hope that Parker Nickolas Read Dental stay around many more years, definitely until I get all my dental work completed, because I won't go anywhere else. There's no need to go anywhere else. If you have dental work done with Dr. Nickolas, you will not regret it. Mrs. Iris, assisted him during my last visit to get an extraction. She's wonderful. She held my hand and never let go during my procedure. I really appreciate her. I don't want to forget about Dr. Read. During my first visit in 2015, I had an extraction done. He's great at his job too. Deciding between Dr. Nickolas and Dr. Read, depends on your pain level tolerance, and what you look for in a dentist. Both work with a great Dentist Office, so you can't go wrong. I don't know what anyone else looks for when deciding their dentist. Both dentist provides excellent customer service, affordability, and many years of experience in dentistry. They will definitely take care of you. Also, Dr. Schleicher offer additional services for sleep apnea. Thank you Dr. Schleicher for hiring such wonderful people. Thanks for all that you do in the community.

Fantastic experience: My experience these past two years has been great! The dentists, hygienist, and staff personnel are friendly, and knowledgeable. The office in general has a calming feeling - almost like being at home. The wait time is non-existent to reasonable (wait time of 15 mins or so if you even are waiting). Fantastic experience: Every time I have an appointment everyone there makes every effort to make it a pleasant experience (excellent dental hygienist). Last year I had a crown replaced. Amazingly, the crown was made while I waited (about 20 min.). It fit perfectly and I didn't experience any "getting used to" time. If you have to go to a dentist, I truly believe that this is your best choice.

Fantastic experience: Highly recommend! DR. PARKER is great! And the other dentists we've seen there for emergencies are great too. I feel they are very trustworthy and capable. TIM is the best, best, best hygienist! He plays great music, and is very caring, encouraging, and positive. He is also very knowledgeable, with tips for keeping my special-needs loved one's teeth clean and healthy. It's not easy working with a special-needs individual. It can be daunting; determining the best treatment plan for gum or tooth problems--or even daily brushing, flossing, rinsing--becomes more difficult. There are many factors to think about. But the WHOLE STAFF is very kind and accommodating to us, both to my loved one and me. Just seeing a warm smile in the office or hearing a friendly voice on the phone means a LOT.

Fantastic experience: I started coming here when we first came to Houston. They had good reviews and I drove by and checked out the practice. Then we moved I had an emergency and had to got to someone near me, it was not a satisfactory experience. A lot of new practices with young dentist, staff not well trained or properly communicative. Things missed like made me pay for Anesthesia but my insurance covered it, never got back my money as they never processed the paperwork properly and I dropped the ball. Although this is 30+ minutes away , as of now I am glad to be back with them. Dr Roy and Dr Reade are well experienced dentist, their chair side manner is good they listen and explain. The staff is also professional. I would recommend them. So far it’s be a good experience.

Positive experience: TeriLynn is my new hygienist,; she has as very pleasant and had a light touch doing the deep cleaning. But what I liked most was the answers she gave me to my questions. Very professional. I came out with more dental knowledge and beautiful clean teeth

It was probably one of the best dental experiences I’ve ever had: friendly staff, skilled doctors, latest equipment, easy scheduling and billing. In and out in less than two hours for a crown, start to finish. Definitely my new home for dental care. Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: My cleaning today with Tim was a joy. He put me at ease and explained everything that was recommended to be done. He himself was able to review my insurance coverage, and explain to me what was covered. After that the admin for billing came by to finalize the cost of the service for today. I was very impressed with the whole operation of the office. I would recommend this office to a friend.

After years of bad experiences with other dental practices which had made me decide to go abroad to have my dental work done in the past, I thought it was worth trying Parker Nickolas Read and I have not been disappointed. Negative experience: I book with a specific dental hygienist. She was out today, but I had no notice of this. I already have a rotating dentist- due to retirement or drs leaving the practice I do not appreciate not being notified of the change in hygienist and being given the option of rescheduling. Today I did get to see the dentist I saw 6 months ago- so that is 2x with the same dentist. I would prefer to have more consistency

Negative experience: The best dentists you will ever see in houston. I have been going there for more than 10 years. Just can’t stand the current front office people. The previous ones were friendlier and really showed interest in assisting and always seemed to go above and beyond to help.

From the moment we entered, we were greeted by a nice receptionist, then Ms Gia came to get me to do the x-rays and cleaning, then the dentist came over to verify the procedure. We are always treated as a person and not as a number, they explain every step in detail with patience and real concern. Gia also did the future two appointments where we are reminded a few days before dates to avoid forgetting. We can also postpone or cancel on time. Our family is so happy for having dentist Parker and Gia doing our dental matters. They are all very professional, kind, and sweet. We do highly recommend Parker, Nickolas Read Dental Clinic!

Fantastic experience: Doctor Roy is an excellent doctor and dentist. She understands above and beyond what most dentists don't do. You feel like you have all the time in the world with her. She explains everything in depth so you understand what is needed or what is going to come about. She and her assistant, Michelle, are both very careful about a person and pain, and what they are going through. I feel very fortunate to have been sent her way from one of her other patients . At this point in time, I cannot give you anything negative that needs to improve. This was my 1st visit and, from now on, she is my dentist ! ! Feb 19, 2024 I have had several visits since my 1st one which is noted above. I still stand by my original statement above. She us an excellent doctor, knows her subject & her patient well before she begins s. Even puts the patient ntthen she describes in detail what we, the patients, should expect. She then asks if it is OK with you and DOESNT PROCEED until the patient is ok with the treatment plan. She also has the GREATEST SENSE OF HUMOR which puts the patient at ease as do both of the ladies who have helped with my treatment. I'm terrified of going to the dentist from experiences I had as I was growing up. She doesn't make me feel that way in fact.my feelings are almost the total opposite of that now. I love a visit with her & am so grateful she is young & will be around for a while. She is A DELIGHT to be with!

Fantastic experience: I’ve seen Dr. Nickolas for over two years and am always pleased with the level of care that is given. I had to have a tooth extracted and an implant placed after a failed root canal (from another entodontist), and they made the experience as good and comfortable as it could have been. They took the time to thoroughly explain every procedure to me, which is not something all dentists do. The hygienists provide great cleanings and preventative care. The entire staff in this office is extremely kind and helpful (shoutout to Megan for being the best), and if you have to see a different dentist in the office for any reason, they still make you feel like a valued, long time patient of theirs. I have nothing but good things to say about this place and highly recommend them for all of your dental needs!

Fantastic experience: I had planned on switching to this dental practice in 2025 because my periodontist was retiring. But circumstances changed the timeline when his hygienist accidentally knocked off a crown during her cleaning. So, when I returned home, I called Parker Nickolas Read Dental to see if they could see me as my crown only had a temporary bond on it. Surprisingly, they gave me an appointment two days later. The dentist that managed my care was Dr. Ayushi Dalal, DDS. Her assistant took an X-ray of that tooth and discovered that it had a cavity in it. Dr. Dalal said that I will be needing a new crown once the decay was removed. I understood but was not too happy about it. Fortunately, they take my dental insurance, which brought the overall cost for me to a reasonable amount. I asked if I could do the procedure that day and fortunately, the doctor had time on her schedule to be able to do so. The dental office overall, met my expectations and beyond. Parking can be a bit tricky, but they assured me that they have parking all around their building, so I should be able to continue to find a place to park in the future. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐!

Fantastic experience: Dr. Read just extracted my tooth along with his Dental assistant Andrea. These two not only provided an excellent client relation, but had the best bedside manner I’ve ever seen. They showed great concern for my well-being and health, but had one of the best attitudes I’ve ever seen from as far as I’ve ever remembered from almost all the physicians I’ve seen in my 38 years, they definitely should be recognized and should become the top rated Dental Facility in the Greater Houston area‍♂️ I just finished my 1st half of my deep cleaning with Dr. Read and his terrific hygienist Gia, is definitely a true gentleman and preceded his reputation and my initial experience! A down to earth comforting man and his hygienist was very, very comforting to the least to say in addition to being a sweetheart and great soul, truly, truly love coming to this office!!

I called Dr. Brent Parker's ofc, on a friend's recommendation, & prayed for an appointment. They were super kind to work me in on short notice. It had been a while since I'd been to a dentist because of absolute FEAR. To say that I had THE BEST dental experience of MY LIFE is an UNDERSTATEMENT!! From Bianca to Ethel, then meeting Dr. Parker and meeting Tim, the Hygienist, my experience was a gentle, kind, and thorough one. They explained and provided me with upfront costs after insurance, so there wouldn't be any surprises. Everyone is EXTREMELY friendly and helpful. I LOVED Tim's gentle hand during my cleaning AND his FANTASTIC musical selection. I have to go back for a follow-up tooth repair. However, I'm feeling much more relaxed about continuing my repair. I have found my DENTAL HOME!

Fantastic experience: I'm a new patient of Dr Read and he was amazing! He could tell I was very nervous. He took the time to explain my problem and the steps we were going to take to fix it. He was very gentle and reassuring. Ethel was amazing too! She offered me a blanket and was very comforting while Dr. Read was working. Hands down best team! I've always had anxiety at the dentist and this team made the experience 100% times better.
