Fantastic experience: Dr Allen always makes visit pleasant! My teeth have many issues and He knows how to make the best of a bad situation! So Satisfied with the whole team! They seem so ready to make things just work , Thank yall so much!

Negative experience: Avoid Solomon Oral Surgery at this location!! I had a very disappointing experience at this oral surgery office during a wisdom tooth removal consultation. From the moment I walked in, I was treated poorly. The dentist seemed rushed and impatient he was ready to walk out without explaining anything until I stopped him to ask questions about the procedure. Even then, he rushed through his answers and acted annoyed that I wanted to understand what was going to happen. To make matters worse, he kept making comments suggesting I was “too old” to have my wisdom teeth removed. What kind of professional says that to a patient? When it came time to discuss payment, the front desk staff were equally unpleasant. I was trying to find the most affordable way to pay between using my insurance or their in-office savings plan and was met with hostility. I was told I couldn’t “flip flop” between the two options, even though I was never informed that having insurance disqualified me from using their plan. It was embarrassing and frustrating to be treated like a nuisance just for trying to understand my options for such an expensive procedure. Patients deserve to be treated with respect, not rushed, judged, or talked down to, especially when it comes to something as stressful and costly as oral surgery. I do not recommend this place to anyone.

Dr. Rylie Lodin is also just as sweet and caring, they make you feel and look great! Everyone in the office is always smiling and it seems like it's a friendly work place.

Positive experience: I was very pleased with my visit today, I had many questions and they were answered, also Dr. Morgan actually seen something that concerned her a little so instead of putting the permanent crown on she asked that I give a week to make sure I wasn't going to have any problems and wrote me a referral to go back to Dr King in case I did. She wanted to be thorough before permanently placing the crown. I appreciated that very much.

Finally I went to Solomon’s and although it is not as close as some other dentist office I tried it is definitely worth the extra distance. Since I do not have dental insurance they have a plan that helps a lot with a reasonable cost. The office staff, great..... the hygienist, great.... the dentist, great. I can’t say enough about this dental practice, just WONDERFUL, WONDERFUL. Finally found my place. Thank you!

Fantastic experience: I have lived all over the country, and this is the best dental practice I have ever been to. It was going to take two months to get an appointment, but they have an amazing system where they can get you in, if there is a cancellation. Luckily I was one of those people. I arrived at 8am and was seen right away. The dental hygienist was the best and I had the best cleaning of my life (I’m serious). The dentist was also amazing (Dr. Morgan) and I hope to have her again. Great experience and I highly recommend this practice.

But I especially want to shout out Jordan — she was incredible. Jordan was kind, professional, and made me feel completely at ease. She took the time to explain everything, answered all my questions patiently as well as gave me additional advice and knowledge to keep in mind when it comes to my teeth. It’s rare to actually enjoy a dental visit, but Jordan made it feel effortless. I can genuinely say that out of the 28 years I’ve been alive this was the first experience I ever had from start to finish with the assistant, dentist and dental hygienist being exceptionally refreshing. I actually am excited to go back in 6 months which says a lot! The entire office is clean, efficient, and clearly cares about patient comfort. I left feeling refreshed and well taken care of. Highly recommend this practice — and if you can, definitely ask for Jordan!

Fantastic experience: Staff was very professional. I had very little wait time . I felt like the staff was very explicit in explaining a care plan . Fast forward 4 months and I have nothing but great things to say about Solomons in Knightsville. Their staff was so attentive to my needs putting me at ease . I had teeth extracted and got full traditional dentures. I never waited for the appointments. Whoever schedules there is amazing !! Today was my 2 week appointment for adjustments and again I received all the information Dr Allen made a bad experience as good as it could be . I'm so happy with my new smile . I have another follow up in 3 weeks making sure my dentures look and more importantly feel as comfortable and natural as they can . Id recommend them to anyone . Look forward to continuing this journey.

Fantastic experience: Had to have a crown put back in and a consultation about some upcoming dental work I need done. I was very pleased to find out what needs to be done isn't as much as I had thought it would be. So no more putting it off. They did x-rays and worked up a plan to get it all done in 3 or 4 visits and no where near what I was expecting to pay. Definitely would recommend.

Fantastic experience: I came in for a cleaning with Sarah and it was so exceptional!! Not only do my teeth feel so clean but she’s amazing at conversations and we laughed the whole time! The front desk staff, the doctors, assistants and the other hygienist are just amazing and lovely as well!! I highly recommend them. I would also like to shout out the office manager Mary Caroline!!!! She is amazing! I also want to speak about the kids office. I take my nephew there and he sees Payton. Negative experience: My visit with with Dr. Allen at Solomon Dentistry was absolutely the polar opposite of all of the providers I have met with within the practice. I have been a Solomon Family Dentistry patient for the last 4 years. I have always had a pleasant experience (if you could call it that during infections. Today was my first time meeting this provider. He only looked me in my face while WRENCHING my heavily swollen and infected tooth and jaw area. Unfortunately I have dental infections quite frequently and while I do have a bad habit of waiting until the pain is the worst before I go to be seen. I explained to Dr. Allen as I did not need any pain medication past the next 24 hours that Motrin and Tylenol which are my go to were not covering my pain to make it manageable. I had such a bad infection that I was in the ER the night before and the ER doctor after assessing my vitals decided it was necessary to give me Morphine (I am not a opiate addict by any stretch and my chart was available for him to review as the other dentists do and unfortunately know me quite well. I never ask for pain medication unless it's necessary) and was quickly told to continue with Motrin or he could write for it. I informed him that I had been doing Tylenol and Motrin for pain control before seeing the ER doctor and him. I asked as I usually did if he could prescribe pain medication above that to simply cover the pain for the next 24 hours. Again, barely even looking at me he informed me that it has proven that it doesn't work well for dental pain and that he does not prescribe opiate medication to anyone and that I was going to have to tough it out until the antibiotics and steroids kicked in. Again, I asked JUST FOR COVERAGE FOR TODAY. He refused, all while knowing he had hurt me further by hooking and pulling my cheek out making it hurt exponentially more than it did. i came out almost in tears. My husband, unhappy with my experience and knowing how bad my pain truly was called the office and was told by Dr. Allen that if he prescribed me an opiate that I would become addicted to them and he didn't want to risk it. Now, we hardly think coverage for one day, at a max in my mind of maybe 5 pills is not going to make someone who has taken them before and has no opiate use issues magically become addicted. I am beyond thankful for Curtis, the chair side assistant, for his compassion and understanding. I believe that having to apologize for my pain that the dentist caused, understanding I was truly in pain, looking at me every time he spoke to me and asking me if I was okay and telling me he was so sorry is deplorable. Furthermore upon speaking with my husband who asked where his complaint needed to go from here and being told "There isn't anyone above me, I am on the board." I have never ever ever had any issue with Solomon's Dentistry, but my experience with Dr. Allen will cause me to absolutely never go back to the Knightsville location if he continues to be there. I am appalled and hope that there are not others who share this experience, I never see negative reviews on Solomon's website, but I am hoping to help someone else avoid the terrible experience I have had. Definitely not the choice doctor compared to the other dentists by far, no bedside manner or compassion whatsoever, but perfectly happy to hand you a bill for services. Also, Dr. Allen wrote for absolutely NO meds because the ER doctor did that for him. Offered to "attempt" to numb the area knowing that with the amount of swelling and infection that that is not a possibility to be effective. Highly disappointed in the manner in which I was treated, as just another number. Thank you to Curtis for being a super star and making up the lack of such from the dentist. He is a rock star.

Negative experience: Wife has a tooth infection and the joke of a doctor Bren Alan, decides that my wife doesn't need anything for pain while my wife's face looks like she has a baseball in mouth from all the swelling. His bedside manor is piss poor and he treat his patients like an expendable joke. Dr. Alan is making the Knightsville Solomon dentistry terrible experience. My family and I will be choosing a better dentistry in the area.

I have never found that to be the case at this office...EVERY STAFF MEMBER has been so kind and understanding, willing to spend time with you and discussing your procedure or suggested plan. Negative experience: I came in as a walk in with a tooth that needed to be pulled. They have always been excellent at getting people in like that. The visit only went bad because of the dentist that worked on me. My extraction turned surgical unfortunately and my jaw was sawed into, and even after digging around with her spade for what seemed like forever she could not get all of my tooth out. Dr. Allen had to come in and finish. I wish he would have been taking care of me the entire time! He showed Dr Hughes where she went wrong and told her how to finish with the stiches. I have had a lot of teeth pulled and never needed stiches before, this scared me. It seemed like she was still training. Before I left she told me that it was a hard extraction because of how long I waited to have my tooth pulled. And if I wait to get the rest done, it could go the same way. So she tried to set up an appointment for her to evaluate the rest of what I need done. I would not ever let this woman touch my mouth again though! She gave me a prescription for an antibiotic, the same one I was already on and told her it wasn't working, and a prescription for a steroid. I had to ask for something for the pain and she reluctantly gave me ibuprofen 800. She told me the antibiotic and steroid would take care of the pain. She was wrong, it was bad for over a week. When I left the office, I was visibly shaking, dropping my stuff and I couldn't walk straight, but they needed the chair. It was by far the worst experience I've had at the dentist.

Fantastic experience: Dr Allen is the best dentist I have ever been to by a landslide. His bedside manner, attentiveness to detail, knowledge, and patience made what is normally a terrifying experience for me, a positive one. I normally require nitrous to relax and it wasn’t available that day. When I explained my anxiety, he didn’t pressure me to get the work done but instead answered my questions honestly and was receptive to my concerns and comments. He did an excellent job with telling me what he was doing as he did it, which eased my mind, and letting me know what it should feel like. He made me feel like he was knowledgeable about his job but also cares for the patient in his chair. Not to mention, I didn’t even feel the shots he gave because he was that gentle. Afterward, I usually have some pain or sensitive but I had none. I left there feeling like years of dental traumas and anxieties were relieved and I finally have a dentist that I can look forward to going back to and truly trust. Thank you Dr Allen!

Negative experience: I was sent a link asking for feedback… so here it is. Everyone in the office was nice enough, but unfortunately, it was not that great of an experience. This was my first appointment, and once it was mentioned that I’m pregnant, I was told I needed a clearance letter from my OB—even just for a cleaning. I was never informed of this policy in advance, and since you didn’t ask about pregnancy during scheduling or intake, I had no reason to know a letter would be required. I did my best to get the letter sent while in the office, but it arrived just moments after I left. I returned immediately, only to be told there was no availability left. After coordinating childcare for four kids and my husband taking off work, it was incredibly frustrating to walk away without being seen—especially when I had been there for nearly an hour and had the letter in hand. What added to the frustration was being casually told I could just try to come back the next day or Friday if there was availability, as if people don’t have work, kids, or full lives to coordinate. Rescheduling isn’t that simple for everyone, and that lack of understanding made the situation feel even more dismissive. I understand you weren’t aware I was pregnant, but if this is a standard policy, it should be mentioned to all new patients. That one small step could prevent this kind of situation in the future.
