Fantastic experience: First time patient with pain in tooth. Staff was very friendly and helpful with my questions regarding the procedure and insurance coverage. Needed two cavities filled and the procedure could not have gone any smoother. Although there is some discomfort that has to be expected when drilling into a tooth, incredibly, there was very minimal, if any, during this process. Dr. Meadows has a laid back personality and explained things on my level (my brain doesn't like, nor does it comprehend medical jargon) which was a huge factor in choosing Conover Dental. Overall, it was an outstanding first experience and I now have a new dentist for all my future cleanings and needed dental work.

Fantastic experience: I am one of those who had bad memories from childhood of the dentist. I had some great recommendations from friends and finally went to see the wonderful people at Conover Dental. The dental hygienist that did my cleaning (Alexis) was so gentle my gums didn't even hurt after (most of the others I had seen in other offices made my gums bleed). Dr. Sloane Meadows is very gentle and has a great sense of humor, which helps to make you feel comfortable. I now I have plan with Conover Dental to get my teeth back into shape and I feel fine going to the dentist.

Fantastic experience: Great group of people from the front desk to the hygienists to the dentist. They are super nice and do a good job. They don't try to pressure you to pay for extra cleanings or things you don't need or your insurance won't pay for. I like the texts that you can respond to in order to confirm your appointment. If you are at work and can't answer a call or can't call back during office hours, it's really convenient.

Negative experience: Water splashed on my face 2-3 times and I almost gag at another time. I had to push her hands and tools away so I can breath. This is the first time this had ever happened to me. I prefer not to be seen by this hygienist on my next appointment.

Rescheduling an appointment can be difficult with long wait times to get back in, but no worse than any other medical office. Brianne is an awesome hygienist! Fantastic experience: I recently moved to the area to be with my family and I was overwhelmed with choosing a Dentist. I really liked their website and the ease of getting in touch with the office. A huge factor was not only the availability of the staff via text but more importantly how kind and accommodating they were. Other places are cold and not so good bedside manner or customer service but the girls at this office are super nice which makes a difference since as patients we spend a lot of time communicating with them. Dr. Meadows was so personable, informative and knowledgeable and answered my questions and concerns about me and about my daughter. He has superb bedside manners! And last but not least my daughter’s hygienist Mary was so gentle and kind to my daughter who was a bit nervous. Truly 10/10! Small little office that could benefit from some aesthetics upgrades but as long as they are clean that’s what’s important which they are. My last name recently changed so they might not recognize but the sentiment is all the same. Great business and happy to be a patient.

Fantastic experience: Just had my semi-annual checkup at Conover Dental. This is the 2nd time I had Briana. She is absolutely a great dental hygienist. She was very methodical, taking her time with each tooth while ensuring that I was comfortable. Also Dr Meadows checkup was thorough and answered any questions I had. Finally, the front desk staff was great, friendly and knowledgeable. I had a couple of insurance questions that were answered. Conover Dental is a great experience.

Fantastic experience: Recently went in for a cleaning, was done efficiently and with great care! I was also able to talk to my over seeing doctor, Dr. Sloan about some of the inquiries I had about my Invisalign treatment while I was there. He’s always transparent and answers any questions that I have, while also offering alternative routes that can potentially serve as a solution. Overall, I don’t think I’ve had a bad experience yet and I’m not much of a talker, but Dr. Sloan makes going to the dentist a lot better since he brings the mood up!

Positive experience: I've been coming here for a few years and I love this place!! But.... They tried to say I canceled my appointment over a cold, but that isn't true at all. Come to find out from TWO other people in the lobby that they did the same thing to them! The one guy even suggested I find a new dentist because they can't get their act together. The receptionist asked me if I could come back in an hour after Ive already told her no once. I was there for my scheduled time, therefore, I should be seen at my scheduled time. I'm not going to argue over it, I'll just go somewhere else if they're going to falsely accuse people. Never had any issues before, maybe it's the new management.

Positive experience: Staff was great. Very friendly and professional. No high pressure to have anything done until I was ready for it. Only negative thing, was the restroom in the lobby. Way too tiny, one stall for all. Needed an extreme update and larger lobby. Probably just a much larger location unless they could add on.

Fantastic experience: Best dentist around! I truly hated it when my dentist Dr. Clay semi-retired and went part time for another dentist. I knew I had to find another dentist. My son and his wife introduced me to Conover dental and I couldn't be happier. Dr. Sloan makes every visit very fun and always makes you feel at ease. He is such a hoot and I wouldn't want it any other way.

Negative experience: Since Dr Christoper Gray left, the practice has gone downhill. I went in and established a treatment plan. They sent me to a periodontist for $1,500 worth of deep cleaning, then nothing… When they FINALLY called to set an appointment, it was just for my next yearly cleaning. I called a month later and they had completely forgotten what was in my treatment plan. They thought I was gong back to the periodontist instead of coming back to them. I cancelled my appointment and will be transferring to Gray Family Dentistry asap to continue my treatment plan.

Fantastic experience: I am a new patient and found Conover Dental on Google. I was very pleased with the reviews so I decided to try them out. The staff were very friendly and attentive to my needs. Everything was explained to me very well too my understanding.

Positive experience: Good first experience. I did think that the dentist went through the exam pretty quick. I know that I needed some work done because I was scheduled to have it with my last dentist before he closed down, but the dentist said he found nothing. My hygienist, Alexis, was awesome and had a very gentle touch on my sensitive teeth. She was definitely the best part of the visit as my past hygienists elsewhere have not always been the gentle. Was not offered the free whitening though. Maybe that is only for non insurance patients.
