Fantastic experience: Best dentist in Oxford and the staff is so helpful, especially the front desk!

Negative experience: Watch out! This office is no longer an in network provider for Delta Dental. I have been a patient for several years and have always loved everyone in the office. I was contacted from the front office before a routine cleaning stating they could not find active insurance coverage. I called my insurance and was assured I was active. I contacted the office and told them they could call my insurance if they had any further questions. I was told they did not like to call my insurance because of long hold times. After my cleaning, I was told I would have to pay the full price upfront and be reimbursed by my insurance. This had never happened before. When I received the check from my insurance, it did not reimburse me for what I would normally pay. I contacted my insurance and found out Dr. Stubblefield was no longer in network. The office knew this and did not inform me of this. What would normally cost me approximately $60 for my husband and I, wound up costing me $330. I feel like this is a deceptive business practice.

The office was super clean and looked brand new. Having the latest in equipment and expertise Dr. Stubblefield was able to make a permanent crown for me in one visit! This new technology saved me the inconvenience of the getting a temporary crown then having to come back for the permanent crown. The crown fit perfectly first time and with ZERO pain. I would HIGHLY recommend this office to anyone needing dental work.
